Great house in Salisbury, looking for a housemate from mid December. House is 3.5 rooms with 1 bathroom (2 toilets) great size back deck. Open to a single or couple, ideally around our age 26-30 however open to others if the fit is right. All bills would be on top of rent and spilt between the household. We have furniture for a whole house (except your room), but would be open to getting rid of some if you have stuff. Bus on the doorstep goes to the city so great for CBD workers. Feel free to contact me for more details!
Hello, we are a friendly and matured couple from Japan and Norway (29 - 31 years old). Since one of us will be graduating at the end of this year, we are looking for a clean and quiet place to live in a long term due to the expiry of current student accommodation contract. One of us is doing a first-year PhD and another is aiming to have a full-time job in Brisbane after graduation (will be applying for a TR visa). If we could rent two separate bedrooms at the same property, or a large ensuite master room where has direct bus access to the Griffith University Nathan campus, it would be ideal for us :)
My name is Elka and I'm 20 years old. I'm currently a casual employee for the Australian Taxation Office, however I work guaranteed full-time/part-time hours. I am a creative, I make art, play music and sing. I write, too. I enjoy a glass of wine or a beer pretty much every evening, love being out and about, love making nice breakfasts at home and I also like to keep fit and active. I love talking to and getting to know people, roadtrips, going to little gigs and I don't mind a house party here and there but am definitely not a clubber. I start uni in February 2017 as well so I really will barely be home. I'm single but looking so might have a few dates over but I definitely maintain and respect privacy. Would love to find some housemates to have a drink with, actually be friends with, go on random drives with - just nice people who can actually contribute to a good lifestyle! I am looking for a reasonably sized bedroom with AIR-CONDITIONING and the rent MUST be bills included (as I can't handle unforeseeable costs.) A pool would be a plus! Curse these Australian summers.
Private room in a lovely reno'd Queenslander share house. Best back yard with a fantastic deck. Shared with a couple (both students, one works fulltime) and a female (also a student) who are wonderful house mates. Quiet, fun, tidy, social house that has great rent and unlimited internet! Room is furnished with a wardrobe and double bed but can be moved out if required. Heaps of space to store stuff under the house. Walking distance from Nathan campus, so would be perfect for a student.
We are part time students at the University of the Sunshine Coast and part time chefs in Brisbane. We will be working long hours, 5 days a week in Brisbane over the summer break at Westfield Garden City and need a place to sleep, shower, store our (minimal) luggage and a clean kitchen to make food in. We are very friendly and easy-going, but we mostly keep to ourselves and like to relax watching Netflix and playing Playstation in our spare time. We cook, clean and are very tidy and considerate. Ideally we'd like a room that also comes with a private bathroom (ensuite not necessary) and is within 10kms of Westfield Garden City. We are looking forward to being closer to work and making new friends in our temporary home. Please contact us if you feel that you can provide what we are looking for or if you're interested in teaming up to share a short term rental.
Private furnished single room in a house. Ideal for Griffith students - just 15 minutes walking to Nathan campus. Aldi, Hungry Jack and other shops down the street. Bus stop is 5 minutes walking with direct connection to the city centre and Garden City. Shared bathroom and kitchen. Washing maschine, microwave, fridge, toaster, plates, cuttlery, etc. included. Possibility of air-conditioning. Off street parking available. Flexible lenght of stay. All utilities and internet included.
Hey there! My name is Brooke, I am new to Brisbane and currently looking for somewhere to live that is close to public transport. I am a 21-year-old female, employed and tidy. I own a 2-year-old, friendly ragdoll cat who is desexed, vaccinated, flead monthly and litter-trained.
Originally not from Brisbane, moved here to do my PhD. Pretty tidy, will be willing to move before November 20 (that's just when my student accommodation runs out). Only want to live with 1 or 2 others. Swim and sew for fun.
This solid post war home nestled amongst the tropical palm trees offers serenity that is rarely encountered with other properties. Located down a quiet cul-de-sac, the leafy setting offers privacy and tranquillity being close to the city too! The home itself has a spacious open-plan layout with beautiful jarrah timber floors. The living areas flow out to the rear deck overlooking the huge backyard. This home features: * 3 Bedrooms, the large master suite with built in robes * Updated main bathroom, new deck, new hot water system * Fully fenced * Ceiling fans throughout * North facing deck (great breezes) * Single lock up garage with additional carport * A few minutes drive to QEII hospital, Griffith Uni (Nathan Campus), Garden City and Sunnybank Plaza shopping centres * Located only 10km to Brisbane CBD! The use of the spare bedroom is also included for your for extra storage etc. I also have a small dog - so the house is pet friendly!
Hello fellow flatmates! I've recently moved to Australia, and I'm looking for a nice place to live and awesome people to share the place with) As you can imagine, at my age I'm not a party animal, I'm clean, tidy, do my dishes, don't make mess or noise. Looking for people alike to enjoy living!
I'm a very easy going bloke, tidy and clean. I've had a rather diverse life experience: born and raised in Cairns, studied a Bachelor of Science (Ecology and Conservation Biology) in Brisbane, worked in Singapore for my first professional job in the landscaping industry at age 21. I moved from Singapore to Sydney to work as a Bush Regenerator in the Western Sydney region. I've recently been offered a full time position in Brisbane in a scientific company as a Natural Areas Technician. I'm a well spoken individual who recognises boundaries and avoids contention. My ideal place has wooden features (esp. Floors), space, a nice kitchen, natural light and either a veg. patch or community garden nearby. Known for my chefery and humour, I love plants, gardening and animals. Exploring natural landmarks, food and just hanging out on the weekend/down time.
We have a polished floors house with a yard and large entertaining deck in the leafy side of salisbury. It has 3 bedrooms but the third room is tiny and would only be used as a study. Your room would be a large & long room. The whole house is air conditioned, large kitchen with a dishwasher, BBQ, double shower, hammock and bathtub. Transport wise we are 10 minutes walk from bus and train. Both take approx 20minutes to reach the city. (The 120 bus is a regular running bus that takes the bus express way. It usually comes every 15-30mins) We are a lesbian couple seeking a potential friend to live with and not someone who just passes us in the hall. We are pretty lazy people but we like to keep the living quarters reasonably clean and tidy. We only ask that you clean up after yourself and keep shared areas tidy, as we would. We are looking for someone who's considerate of noise and kind and easy going. If you have any questions, you're welcome to flick us a message. We are pretty friendly, open people and will to answer anything (within reason of course). Lastly, we ask that the rent is always paid a week in advance. Note: pictures are as on rental ad as we're officially moving in next week. The outdoor setting however is staying.
22 year old single male, just recently moving to Brisbane from the sunshine coast. Looking for a room/place in the southern suburbs. I work full-time, I also have a weekend job back on the coast so I wont be home most weekends. I'm a student. I don't smoke, I barely drink, I'm exceptionally clean, and really easy going. I have a perfect rental history. I don't have pets or children but I do love both. Preferrably looking for a place by the 30/10 but can work around an earlier or later date
Furnished room with double bed, built in wardrobes, polished floors, large desk for female flatmate. Non smoking, no pets. Conveniently located at walking distance from public transport (Beenleigh train line and bus routes 125, 599 / 598) and a short drive/ride from Griffith University (Nathan), QEII hospital, Garden City shopping centre, etc. Surrounding/nearby suburbs: Tarragindi, Moorooka, Rocklea, Coopers Plains, Nathan. Archrefield, Acacia Ridge Trip to Southbank station from here is just under 20 minutes. From there you can cross the river via the Goodwill Bridge and you will be at QUT gardens point. On the other hand, UQ students can easily travel to Park Road station (train services every 15 minutes on peak hours) and access the quick bus services from there to make it to Uni in less than 20 minutes. I did this for a year no problem. Griffith (Nathan) students can catch bus 125 around the block from here or ride a push bike if feel fit to do so. It will probably be about 5 minutes drive if you chose to do so. $130 per week, including bills. (I am ideally looking for someone long term but can discuss/negotiate other arrangements). Sharing with open minded, helpful, respectful professional. Contact with details for more information /inspection.
