***Please be aware of the move date*** I am a teacher, currently studying my masters full-time. This means I am home a lot when not working (short-term contracts), visiting family or travelling. For the most part, I put most of my energy into my research. I am looking to share with 1 or 2 like-minded females (or landlord couple/family). I can live with: * females (quiet, respectful) * non-smokers (non-negotiable) * no partying, excessive drinking, etc * drug-free household * a cat I want to live somewhere where I feel safe and comfortable. Basically someone who has a lifestyle that doesn't impose on mine, or impact my overall well-being. I appreciate others with similar values, and are considerate of their housemates. I have a long-term partner who lives away for work, so no random overnight guests on my part. I like: * a tidy home * tv/netflix/board games/reading in my downtime, I am sociable but a frugal introvert at heart * hikes and walks in groups * cooking (but this is often a once-a-week meal prep) * yoga * sense of humour * people who are down-to-earth - not afraid to communicate in order to achieve balance and happiness in the house. If sharing with a landlord couple (preferably separate living spaces i.e. upstairs/downstairs) - I am able to pay my rent well in advance in exchange for a rent reduction. I know you have bills to pay too so if you're looking for a reliable income, I can give you that piece of mind!

Hi, I'm Jess. I'm currently living on the Gold Coast but I'm about to begin work as a Travel Agent at Griffith Uni at Nathan, and want to move closer to avoid the commute. Reasons why I'm a great housemate: I have excellent taste in tv shows, and am willing to discuss and develop crazy fan theories with you. I like to be social but I'm not a party animal, going to the pub for a few drinks and listening to some live music or having a relaxing bbq are my ideas of fun. I've lived in many share houses before so I know how important it is to respect my fellow housemates, clean up after myself, take the rubbish out when it's full and I will only squash it down and hope the next person will take it out occasionally :/ I'm an easy-going and positive person. In my spare time I love being outdoors, hiking, exploring national parks and taking roadtrips. I also love going out for a nice meal, trying to find the perfect cup of coffee and reading a good book. Looking for somewhere furnished, a short-drive to Griffith Uni Nathan, or even better within walking distance.
Cute little house on a very quiet street, close to salisbury shops, uni and garden city. Trains and buses run constantly. Unlimited internet, both rooms have a bed if needed and bedside tables, have a dog and cat so would prefer someone without pets. Large backyard, great for entertaining. 2 bedrooms to rent, 1 person $160, 2 people $120 each. Ive got lease till july. Happy to resign with right roommates 😊
My name is Jamie and I'm 22, I'm currently living in NSW but will be relocating to Brisbane in mid June for study purposes. I will be studying at Griffith Uni Nathan campus. I'm working full time at the moment and I plan to be working part-time or casual while studying. I like my own space so I won't be in your hair or much of a bother. I'm polite, respectful of others spaces, privacy and lifestyles and I like to keep a clean space. I'm after a furnished room (bed + study desk would be ideal) in a share house though I'm also interested in team ups and unfurnished rooms. A place where I could stay long term (1 or more years) would be preferable. I'd like to have a place close by public transport. I love animals so rooms in a house with pets would be no issue to me but I myself don't have any pets. I also enjoy socializing and wouldn't mind having a chat and hanging out with other flatmates but I'm also fine with keeping to myself if that is preferable. My approximate moving date is June 16th. I will be out of the country from April 28th to May 22nd so I just wanted to get on top of things.

Hi, my name is Michael. I'm friendly, easygoing and clean. I'm looking foward to meeting you.
Recently new Sharehouse! Flexible with furnishings and negotiable on prices! Our place is less than 15 minutes to the City (by car), 10 minutes from Garden city, 5 minutes from Griffith uni (Nathan) as well as 2 or 3 blocks from public transport. Buses come at least every 15mins near us so it's easy to travel anywhere. We're down the street from the Bowls Club, a takeaway shop, post office, corner store, a cafe and some other stores. We're halfway between First Choice and Aldi, both about a 10min walk or a quick drive. We've got a closed in property (great for pets), a pool, a large backyard, unlimited internet and airconditioning in the loungeroom. We have a complete communal kitchen for everyone to use as they wish, and also offer personal shelving and fridge space for each flatmate. Similarly, the bathroom is shared but everyone has their own drawer to store needed things. Parking is available both on and off the street. The photos are of the communal areas and the last bedroom available, please not the furniture in the picture is not what is available. The bedroom available is a 4.8m by 3.7m sized room, that comes with a king single bed, built-in wardrobe and a ceiling fan. We've made come up some great ideas to communicate - with group chats and a split calendar to write up important things such as dates away, and chores. Rent includes internet, professional pool maintenance, grass to be mowed, gas for the kitchen, and standard electricity and water bills. In the unlikely case when an electricity or water bill is over the standard for this house, we will split it evenly between housemembers. Hope to hear from you!
