I´m from Mexico, I study Design there, and am 24 years old, Im really easy going, love hanging out with friends and going out. I consider myself good for making new friends and socializing with new people, really creative and cheerful. I´m really clean and respectful with other people space and things. I would love the opportunity to get to know new people from different nacionalitis and making this exchange an incredible adventure.
This home is beautiful and light. Totally renovated and furnished. It is large and cosy too. Room is sunny and warm. Has view of ivy in garden with sun streaming in. High ceilings and carpet in room. I have put photos of room in different angles (it has a previous bed in room. New bed has white bedhead). Amazing location 10 mins flat walk to uni and sandy bay shops. Garden courtyard with huge trees and birds. Lovely stain glass windows and views. Quiet and peaceful and plenty of street parking with no time limits! There are two bathrooms (one is ensuite) which means there's less people to share the one bathroom. Unlimited fast internet. We have created a home to share with you that is kind and friendly. There are also two little white fluffy dogs that complete the picture.
I'm respectful, I read, am quiet, clean and tidy. In the yin yang of things, I'm about balance and enjoy time on my own and with others. I'm a Canadian who just arrived in Hobart and am keen to hit the ground running – dark mofo has been a very cool introduction to the city. I enjoy getting to know my flatmates, maybe play some games, watch movies and indulge in some wine – at the same time I respect people's space. I've just been granted the right to work here (June 20) and am thrilled! I'm now on the job hunt but might work remotely (building websites in a CMS) for a previous employer, while I secure something local. With that in mind, I will be around the house to begin with until I sort out a work space (I really have no desire to be in the same place, day and night). I enjoy and thrive off of creative unbound conversation, think Rick and Morty or South Park - and yes, I have a dark sense of humour. Also, I really like big picture thinking - like how fast are we moving through space at this moment (seriously - if you know please tell me). I have a thirst for knowledge (although I detest trivia - more of the hows and whys of things). Cats - although I enjoy them, I am allergic. Car - I require parking. Aside from that, I'm fairly easy going and available to come by in person at a time that suits your schedule. Looking forward to it, David
Hello! We are two sisters looking for a place to stay in 2018. We are both quiet, friendly and easygoing people. We are looking for a property with two rooms available, or a large room that we could share, as we are good friends (as well as sisters) and would love to stay together if possible! Megan is the oldest and a bit of a grandma on the inside :) She loves baking, art-ing, craft-ing and a good cup of tea every now and then. She is very interested in ecology and the environment and is in her third year of Bachelor of Natural Environment and wilderness studies at UTAS. Erin is the youngest of the two and loves painting and drawing :) She is studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts at UTAS and works most days in the CBD. Erin also has a car, so a property with a parking space would be ideal. Ideally, we would like to stay in Battery Point, Dynnyrne, South Hobart, Sandy Bay or the city, but if you have a place that you think would be suitable elsewhere that is easily accessible by public transport, we'd also be open to hearing from you :) We look forward to hearing from you!
I'm a design student moving to Hobart from Melbourne for my Master's Degree. I love art and respect others' privacy. I spend at least 10 minutes everyday to clean my room (or the common areas if my own room is tidy); so you don't have to worry about a messy house!
Clean, well house trained, considerate. Great gardener, easy going, respectful to the max. I am easy to get along with and am low maintance, treat a house like a home and contribute to the communial living standard raising it to a better level or maintain it to optimal level. I am a now stress, no worries flatty, with a down to earth honesty.
I'm a full-time worker in Hobart City, graduated from UTAS last year (2017). I've been in Tasmania for almost 4 years now, mostly in Launceston due to the nature of my course (Architecture). This is my first time moving into Hobart, and I am still exploring this place. As of 2018, I'm 25 years old, from Singapore. I am slightly socially awkward. But if you spend enough time with me, you'll see a different person - outgoing, loud, funny, talkative (as according to my friends). Well, I do appreciate some alone time too. It's nice to respect each other's privacy at times. I do love the outdoors, though I don't really have time for it.
The house is a beautiful villa on Lord Street, Sandy Bay, which gets sun all year round, is clean, tidy and spacious. There is a small outdoor area with a sunny deck, clothes line and storage shed. Available is a private part of the house with a large bedroom, a separate study/ storage room, with it's own bathroom containing a toilet, shower, sink and storage. The bedroom and study are unfurnished, although the main living areas are furnished. The room is best suited to a couple, however, singles can of course apply. Our current flatmates have just bought a house, and will be vacating around mid-July. The current lease is until 25th January 2019, so we will need you to take over the remainder of the lease from our current housemates. The house is 1km from the University of Tasmania, and 850m from Woolies on King Street. We have space for off-street parking for one car, and plenty of street parking on the block. There is also a bus stop at the next block if you don't drive.

Hey, My name is Stephen a 26 year old full time employed marine biologist. I'm originally from Melbourne, but moved to Hobart in August of last year. With the recent storm event, my room in a share house in Taroona was flooded, and requires too much repair for me to stay. I've lived in share houses in Melbourne, Hobart and overseas. I am clean, respectful, easy going and have made many good friends from my previous share houses. I enjoy anything involving the water, getting outside, music and relaxing with a movie. Also, I wasn't really sure how long to list the stay so just did 9 months. I hope to hear from you, Stephen
Hey! I'm Julien, a French mechanical engineering student and will be at UTas as a masters 2 student. I am currently in New Zealand since February and will arrive on the 7th-8th of July. I will stay at least until the 13th of November. I already experienced flatshare in New Zealand and would be glad to share a new one with you. I'm clean, quiet and love outdoors activities as hiking, mountainbiking, surfing.. I plan to visit Tasmania during the weekends but also to enjoy Hobart's city! Let me know if you are interested!
Im a super chill, clean and easy to get along with individual. I’m fairly active so my days would be working, hiking, exploring, playing cards with anyone who will play, and throwing around a frisbee! I’m a really honest and independent individual. I enjoy getting to know my roommates but also appreciate and respect alone time. I really appreciate honest people who communicate effetively. I’ve found that works best in roommate situations, rather than passive aggressive people! I’m a keen traveller and haven’t explored Tas before so I’ll be hiking and camping lots hopefully. I'm Canadian, so living with me will guarantees a laugh a day at my accent! I’ve reached an age where I enjoy beer and wine still but not so much the party scene. Definitely enjoy a cheeky few drinks on the weekends though :] Cheers for your time. Steph
I am noiseless, I guess that's good enough, right? Haha, I like to think I'm a chill and pretty relaxed person, easy to get along with. If you don't bother me I don't bother you. If you want to hang out and I'm bored, I'm open for that too. I'm an exchange student, I'm up to meet new people, up for partying, meet new places, meeting new people (again), but I'm also planning to find a job and get some work experience as well, in order to make some money so I can go on trips after I'm done with uni. All in all, I just want a place to stay. Not looking for a 100% quiet space, but not looking for 100% partying place either. Just a balanced, economic place where I can have all my stuff and sleep from time to time.
