PLEASE NOTE, that I am only searching for a place until mid April, as I will then be moving to Canada. If this is okay for your home, then read on about me. Thanks. I am a friendly, but initially shy 29yr old with a love of the performing arts, a Pilates studio receptionist and temp worker and also studying natural therapies. I really enjoy running and hiking and love going on day trips with my pack on. I enjoy a community atmosphere and wish to interact with housemates and become friends, not just merely live with people you don't know. Would love to live with those that share. Share food, share music, share stories, share experiences. I prefer a household without a TV, or at least not have it on all the time blaring nonsense. More than happy to enjoy some documentaries or some movies or Netflicks from time to time though! We can make our own entertainment! I'm looking for people who can think critically, are creative and expressive, incorporate spiritual practice into their lives and homes and are gentle souls. I like housemates to be considerate of others by cleaning up after themselves, not continually slamming doors and heavy stomping etc. Ask others if they would like anything from the shops if you are going, or offer to do someone's dishes if they are running late. I am a vegetarian, but don't mind what other people's preferences are. It tends to be easier for people to look after their own shopping, but more than happy to chip in for veggie boxes if people do that, and definitely up for sharing dinners and baking experiments!! I don't have any pets, but am more than happy to move in somewhere that does have an animal or two! Any questions, ask away!! Thanks, Loz
Hi guys, Originally from Sydney and looking to spend a few years in the Melbourne area. I have studied law and worked in that world for a few years but these days I'm more into discovering and utilising natural modalities of healing. Bit of a wild change but there we are. I'll be working part-time and spending the rest of my time building up my small holistic healing business. Other miscellaneous interests include growing food, having a solid dance, banging about on the guitar, being amongst nature, learning truth/weeding out the bullshit and just being a bit silly. I've sharehoused for a good few years now so I've got that considerate/friendly balance down. I'm keen to live in the Dandenongs region but will for sure consider other areas if the right house pops up :)
I have 2 rooms for rent in my large 4 bedroom house. Both rooms have mirrored robes. One is slightly bigger and has better light, but is only available for 6 months. The other is available long term. Can offer to furnish larger room if required. (extra$). There is a separate study area which can be used for study, computer etc. The house has a large gym with weights, treadmill, stepper, and bikes that you are free to use. There is also a large second living space with TV so there can be some privacy if needed. Good off street parking available. You will need a car, as its a long walk from the nearest bus stop! Lots of storage space available as well. If you are an outdoors person, you will enjoy walking out the gate into some amazing walking / running / mountain biking tracks. We are surrounded by beautiful bushland so if you appreciate the hills and nature you will like the location. We also have a fully self contained underground fire bunker for emergency situations during the hotter months. All bills are included in the rent except for any non local phone calls. Internet is included but is slow. If you are clean and tidy you will fit in well. This is a non-smoking house, so obviously I would like a non-smoker only.
Hi there. I'm 56 years old, easy going and have lived with many different kinds of people before. My work involves Holistic Counselling, Reiki and massage, as well as some casual waitressing and cleaning. In my spare time I like to go walking along the beach, in the bush and go to markets, clubs and bars. I'm looking for a peaceful, clean home to share with mindful others. I'm ok with pets.
Hi! I am Carly I'm 22 years old. I work 6 days a week. I am very clean. I love the outdoors, cooking, the beach and the occasional glass of wine. My lease has just ended at my property in Mt Evelyn so i am looking for somewhere I can share with a couple of other people but also feels like home!
I met Sam through flatmates.com and since then have developed a lovely friendship where we enjoy hanging out watching netflix, grabbing a coffee or playing video games. We also enjoy time on our own but work really well together. We are looking for a like-minded, neat, and open housemate. We are currently living in a two-bedroom flat in Berwick but plan to move into a three bedroom asap. A bit about Sam: Sam is always upfront about any issues he has and I value his honesty. He is caring, hilarious, well-spoken and overall awesome company and I'm so happy to have met him. Sam has a beautiful cat named Charlie who is timid but lovely company, loves his belly rubs. A bit about me (Julia): I am talkative, love a good conversation, outgoing, vegan and bubbly. I have a cat named Yuki who is cute but likes pats only when she feels like a cuddle. Please message me if you are interested to find a place with us, we would love to meet and grab a coffee! Thanks, Julia :)
24 year old single female, looking for a place to settle in after 6 months on the road. I work in conservation, and find myself on interstate work trips every now and again. I love spending time in the garden, and with animals! I am pretty independent and keep to myself a bit, but enjoy socialising over drinks or games or what have you! I have my own furniture for a bedroom and a few bits and pieces for outside including pot plants. I also have kitchen equipment for communal use! Pots, pans, small appliances, utensils, crockery, mugs/cups etc etc. I am a bit of a handy-man (handy-woman?) and am good at fixing things, and am mechanically competent (good with cars & motors) and creative. I am not fussed on location, as long as it's on the eastern side of town. I can afford $150 per week, inclusive of bills/utilities. I can move on the weekend of the 10th Feb, or 17th Feb. If I sound like a good candidate for your sharehouse, shoot us a message and we can arrange a time to meet! - Beth

Adam is returning to work as soon as we gave accomodation as he already has a job but they're waiting for him to be more settled. Im looking at going back to work aswell but have been off for a while due to medical reasons and caring for my mother. I do have a 17 year old dog who is extremely well behaved but he doesn't have to come but id love him too. We are extremely clean and i also love to cook. We are looking for somewhere quiet and relaxed, somewhere we can call home. We are currently homeless but not buy choice. Its a very long and sad story. Its all thanks to me little brother but that we can talk about over a beer or coffee 😊. We are well mannered and adore children and animals. Im very strict when it comes to bills being paid on time, so youll never have to worry a bout that. If you think we'd be a good match, please message. Hope to hear from you soon 😊
HI! I am a 24 year old park ranger who is looking to move further out of Melbourne City. I love nature, gardening and birds. I like to keep to myself and watch netflix or read a book. I currently have no pets however am looking to adopt a dog in the future. Looking forward to hearing from you. Joanna
I am very easy to get along with. I love spending time with people but I am in no way in your face annoying. I am tidy, respectful and love a good laugh from time to time. I am a chef who's looking for a home while she traverses her way across the baking sea. I'm hoping to be an excellent bread baker by the end of this year!
If you are a nature lover and wish to live in a home where there is peace and tranquility then this is the home for you. This is not a party house so would appeal to people who enjoy a quiet environment. We are in the forest residential part of The Basin, with a creek running through the front of the property, and a multitude of bird life including tame King Parrots which will eat from your hand. We also have a very friendly border collie, kitten and a chicken. This property used to be run as a BnB but we are now renting out 3 bedrooms which share the one bathroom. The rooms are fully furnished with queen sized bed, TV (or you can bring your own if it is bigger), built in robes, bed side table, chest of drawers and a desk. The house has ducted heating, evaporative cooling and there are fans in each of the bedrooms. This is a modern home with a spacious, well equipped kitchen, including built in coffee machine, dishwasher etc. looking out onto a large deck area. Other than cooking your own meals (we occasionally cook a meal for everyone) there is no requirement to do any other work around the house. Bed linen and towels can also provided if required. The house is very clean and cleaning is done on a weekly basis. The Basin is a 5 minute drive from Boronia Station or Bayswater Station which is 50 minutes by train to the city of Melbourne. There is also a bus stop at the top of the street which takes you to both railway stations.
Hobbies: Piano/ukulele Exploring forests Painting/drawing Photography I work in retail currently - trying to save and figure out what I'm doing. Im a bit of a homebody, I like the humble things in life. I'm not a smoker or drinker. But I really really value a house feeling like home, so while I of course value space and privacy.. someone who would be interested in socialising too would be ideal, maybe meal sharing or the odd movie night!! I also have a beautiful dog who I would want to feel welcome! She's so beautiful :)
G'day, my names Rob, I've grown up in the Dandenongs. I live in Upwey where my landlords indicated they will sell. I'm regulary involved in 4 conservation/environmental groups. I've worked for other companies in natural resource managment for 4 years and I'm now I'm self employed. I'm constantly intrigued by natural environment. I like live sufficiently where possible, I dumpster dive most of my food currently and love to cook, collabarate and share. Looking to start study soon.
I'm a 31 year old female easy going, clean and tidy person. Hoping to find a pet friendly place in the future that will allow me to have a Labrador puppy and have a rabbit also. I would ideally like somewhere where I would feel comfortable and get along well with housemates and be able to be social but also enjoy and respect privacy.
Hi - I'm Glenn. I have a long history working in the helping type fields such as nursing and psychology with multiple undergraduate and post graduate degrees. I am very caring, empathic, considerate and have always been compassionate towards others, regardless of who they are or where they've been. I guess humility, acceptance and openness are some of my key values/traits and although my path is not the same as others, I love to hear about other people's past experiences and their hopes and visions for the future. Sadly, after some 20 years, I had a bad experience when nursing and made the decision to try alternative work (Happy to go into details if you'd like to know - I'm fine now but needed a change). I'm currently doing forklift work in Kilsyth, but I'm enjoying it. It's hard work but the people are great. So, am looking at rentals / flatshare in that area -Kilsyth, Croydon, Bayswater, Boronia, Lilydale, etc I'm also focusing more on my music composing. Last year, a friend was suicidal and in a very bad way. She had several admissions to hospital, and some very intense treatment. It was heartbreaking that she was unable to see just how beautiful and special she is and just how much she is love by those around her. I wrote her a song titled "We love you" which tried to remind her of that fact. It seemed to help and it felt good to see her smile. So, I feel passionate about reminding people when they just cant see it - through music - just how important they really are - Every person is inherently important and an integral part of the world. I also LOVE animals - and I have two adorable cats. You don't have to love them - but I could never live with a cat hater. I am their carer, protector, food giver (most importantly) - and they rely on me. Having them is a gift and I don't take that lightly. I need somewhere that they would feel comfortable. I pretty much get on with anyone and seem to be able to find something to talk about. I make a point of making people feel comfortable and welcome without being over the top. I'm probably more mature now and settled and stuff and enjoy more quieter times. I'm very respectful, considerate, empathic and compassionate, and a great listener. But, I'm also sensitive to other people's needs and respect my own and others personal space. Oh and as well as working full time, I also make a point of doing regular volunteer work where I can. As a bonus I also come with an unlimited supply of lame jokes and am the person to have on your trivia team if the subject "Hits of the 80's"ever comes up. Probably crapped on enough. Cheers Glenn
