Hey legends! Recently relocated my life from cold Canberra up here to the sunshine state to be closer to family and find more fulfilment in my work - I currently work in both construction and marine wildlife conservation. My friends and family would describe me as an outgoing person that’s always the first to pitch in and lend a hand, and my nickname on the worksite is “Smiley Riley” so rest assured I’m a cheerful bloke. ☺️ I haven’t lived in a share house before, only alone or with partners, so I’m really keen to give this a go and promise I’m a clean and tidy operator that’s more than happy doing everything from cooking meals for the crew to handyman jobs. I keep fit through gym and boxing, but love exploring what this beautiful country has to offer and now that I’m closer to the water I’ve picked up surfing and freediving. 🏄‍♂️🐬 Not much of a hermit, I tend to be out and about through the day and will absolutely maximise my opportunities on weekends, but I’m definitely keen to build connections with housemates and hopefully make some lifelong friends wherever I move. Seeking Rental Hello, my partner and I are currently looking for a place to call home for us and our pup. I’m a tiler, I work full and do quite long hours. Ash is a a tattoo artist, and drawers a lot from home so we have a fairly good balance with being in and out. We are clean and respectful, Mia (our dog) is very well behaved and house trained. We are looking for something with in 20-30 kms of the tweed area, with 2 bedrooms and a shed if possible. Our Budget is $800 per week, happy to pay a bond and 2 weeks in advance. The current rental market is making it difficult to find somewhere given the number of applicants and that we miss a lot of inspections due to work commitments. I’m an Australian girl, 24, originally from Victoria but currently living in West Burleigh in a share house! Unfortunately our landlords are moving back into their home so it’s time for a change! As heartbreaking as it is moving on from my current home, I’m excited to have a change of scenery and meet more fun and lovely people to share a space with! I’m looking in the same (ish) area of Burleigh as I’m quite settled in this part of GC. The only catch is, where to live. I am a full time barista working at the Gold Coast Airport and ideally - south Gold Coast suburbs would be perfect, however I’m open to anywhere at this point in time. On my off-days I love to have a chilled home environment and home cooked meals. I love catching the sunset, spending days at creeks and the beach and grabbing a coffee while going for walks! I’m very easy to get along with, I’m hoping to be able to have a home where we can hang out sometimes and talk over dinner or morning coffees, go do fun little day trips here and there whilst still respecting alone time and privacy when we need as that’s so important! I am not one to have heaps of people over or have a ‘party house’ mentality so would love to live in a home that’s similar vibe! Definitely love having friends over here and there but hopefully you get what I mean! I like living the slow and quiet lifestyle! I am very work-orientated, so usually out of the house as early as 6am most days! I’m not opposed to a cheeky drink here and there, I am a homebody so I’m more of a bev or two at home kind of gal.
