I’m moving out of our dreamy seaside house very soon. It’s a 5 minute stroll to the beach- definitely my favourite part of living here- you can smell the ocean and see the water if you stand out on the street. The room will have only a bed but the rest of the place is fully furnished* (including Netflix and a microwave for those lazy meals), just walk right in and you’ve got everything you need. There are ceiling fans and air conditioning and so much space. There are two loungerooms and a decent sized yard for a pet if you have one. The new Brighton shops and the train are about a 10 min walk away. There’s an orange and apricot tree, friendly neighbours and a garage. We have been an environmentally conscious household and have very much respected each other’s privacy and hope whoever moves in can do the same. *The house is furnished and will be until Nick moves out in about 6 or so months.
Both my partner and i are friendly, relaxed people. I am a Midwife working at Flinders Medical Centre, and studying part time. My boyfriend is studying at Flinders and working part time. We are looking for like minded people to live with who are sociable and value keeping a clean and neat house. After finding unit/ apartment options unappealing and overpriced while looking to rent just the two of us, we decided to use this site to hopefully find people or a couple in the same situation and pair up to afford a far nicer place at less of a cost per person.
I am an easy going, bubbly, friendly and social person, who also likes some time to myself every now and then. i am a tidy person, who cooks and cleans (i will clean up after myself). i own a cat his name is Rae and he is very cute, cuddly and loves people.
-I'm a music teacher, Disability support worker and own my own vintage clothing business. -Love nights in with games, wines and lots of food (I'm vegetarian and love to cook) but also like to have the very occasional party or gathering. Also like time to myself as I'm very busy creative type. -Am open minded, accepting ,clean and easy to get a long with. -Ideally I'd like a place with lots of space, cat free (they trigger my asthma) and a homely vibe with housemates I get a long well with.
I love to cook and am great at keeping kitchens and shared spaces tidy. Work full time. Don't party or have too many people over...
I’m a full-time professional who is looking looking for accomodation closer to my work. I am friendly, clean and looking for somewhere that is furnished and has bills included in the rent.
We are a fun couple who love to socialise but also enjoy time to ourselves. Being healthy, active and fit is very important to us. We also love to cook and clean (weirdos, I know, but a bonus for our future flatmates!). I work in the Mines on a week on/off roster and Alice will be working full time. She is from NZ and is moving over to Adelaide after living abroad on superyachts.
Not an international student. Born here in Aus. Currently studying English and Creative Writing. Aspiring writer. Into music and art. I work at a bookshop. Looking for some likeminded people that aren't too strict
I'm 26 and work full-time at Flinders Medical Centre as an Office Manager and friend, Kate (26) works full-time at Westpac as a Manager also. We currently live together and both enjoy spending time with friends and family in our spare time as well as exercising. We are easy to get along with, tide and clean.
I currently live on the south coast and am looking to be closer to the city but still relatively close to the beach, whilst still being near the seaford train line. NBN/good net compatabile houses are a must. I work full time currently as a software dev in the city, and will be completing my final semester of my engineering degree in 2018 at Adelaide uni. I'm a relatively relaxed guy and tend to keep to myself but I still enjoy hanging out with whoever I'm living with. I'm slightly OCD when it comes to having a clean house so I'd like to live with people who aren't lazy af when it comes to doing their dishes. I love the beach lifestyle, anything active, playing guitar, gaming and chilling out. Not really pet friendly due to allergies.
looking for a place to stay for 2018, would love to be near the beach. I'm real big on lifestyle, a good wine, reading, podcasts and my fitness. Very tidy and respectable of other peoples space, I'm very low key, studying and working :) P.s i love good in depth conversation of all sorts
I'm an international student from Hungary (overseas postgraduate and qualified vet nurse), studying currently business, and working part time. I'm quiet, respectful and tidy. I have been a vegetarian for 23 years and I am a cat fan. I'm looking for a furnished room all bills included max. $160 (reliable internet connection and hot water are important for me) close to Brighton as I'm not driving at the moment. I want to live with 1 or maximum 2 tidy and respectful housemates (female(s)!!). If I'm not answering your message, it means the room/place you are offering, isn't suitable for me. (Because I got some messages: Sorry, I'm NOT offering a room on here.)
Hey! I have just moved back to Adelaide from the USA and am looking for a place to live (min. 6 months). I work in Aus. as Social Worker but I am looking at getting back into the entertainment industry so might go back to study! I am a non-smoker, pretty chill and flexible with move-in dates! Hit me up if you have anything :)
Hey there, I'm from Singapore, currently doing my master in Speech Pathology at Flinders University . I love outdoors and water sports especially diving and underwater rugby, I'm considerate, clean, and sociable. Looking for a private room, great house/housemates. Love to watch movie/dinner/chill with the housemates but do respect individual relaxing time. Drop me a message if there is a perfect house!
Hey mates! I'm a 28 year old chippie with a range of interests, looking for a teamup or share house for me, and my son on the weekends. I'm a little bit of a hippie i guess....I love the outdoors, specifically rock climbing, hiking, the beach, looking at getting a kayak soon...Also a musician, I play a bit of guitar and like to produce music from my lappy. Other interests include spirituality, some philosophy and chatting about other big issues. My son Ollie is a gem, a clever kid who loves lego, minecraft and reading. He often likes to keep to himself but gets along with adults well. If any of that sounds like what you're after, let's catch up for a coffee (or a climb!) and see how we go! cheers
Hi. My name is Joachim. Im 23 years old and i am from Norway. I study business in Norway, and i am taking an exchange semester at Flinders university. Im a social person and easy to hang around. So i hope we can make a nice flat during my stay in Australia. A few things about me. I love sports and to work out. I also enjoy a chill night in the flat with some good food and a movie. As a former backpacker i really love travelling, and can´t wait to explore Australia.
I live a quiet lifestyle so I don't have parties happening all the time. I am clean and tidy, a non-smoker and definitely not into recreational drugs of any sort. I do respect the privacy of others. I love the beach walks. I am into sharing household duties and joint utilities expenses. My friends are respectful and will not impose on your personal space. I am looking to do the odd studies be it cooking or general interest in alternate subjects. I love going to the movies and especially the old Retro theatres. My favourite movies are comedies.
I am well balanced interested in socializing as well as spending time on my own. I like music and films and I love the beach. I work full-time in the city and am planning to commute by bicycle and/or train so the place would be fairly close to the train station. I will most likely get a car too so a parking place is required. I would also like to get a dog at some point, if all starts align :) I don't smoke and would prefer a non-smoking flatmate.
