$300/week•22 year old man
Hi my name is Blake, I was born in Sydney although I’ve spent my whole life in Perth. Im a big history nerd with my favourite period being the cold war, i enjoy how close this event was to us and how you can tell directly its effects on our modern life. my specific interest during that period is the troubles in Ireland and the UK.
I work in car servicing, which despite the title is a bit misleading, all i do is place owners wallets and roadside assistance stickers in/on cars and just inspect that they have have everything. I work full-time, usually 7-3:30 or 6:30-3:00.
I’m looking for a place to live for at least a year, all i really need is a room to stay in that is relatively close to my workplace.
Some more information about my interest apart from history is playing video games, shocker. My favourites being Disco Elysium, The Last Of Us pt.2, and Elden ring. I also enjoy board games with my favourite being Root. My favourite movies are The Lighthouse, Godzilla Minus One, and Alien. My favourite tv shows would have to be Dark, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and The Queens Gambit.
In terms of music, Im learning, with no determination the bass, I’m a big fan of post-punk/new wave music from the 70s and 80s, I also enjoy rap, pop and some jungle. my top bands and artist are, New Order, Joy Division, Magdalena Bay, Kendrick Lamar, MF DOOM, Gorillaz. And in terms of sport, I enjoy football (as in soccer) and I support a german team called Dortmund. I’ve supported them since around 2018. I not great at playing any but i don’t mind playing soccer or volleyball.
I really do like to travel although I scarily have the money for it, but i have been all the way up to Karijini and all the way down to Esperance, my most recent trip was last month when a few friends and I went up to exmouth.
