Hi folks! so this is the gorgeous home I currently live in, but VERY SADLY my new landlords have taken over and are increasing rent by too much that i can't afford. Therefore, I'm now looking FOR A NEW HOME with 3 bedrooms and am on the search for the perfect third roomie to join me and current roomie. Still in Yarraville or close by in Seddon, right by the stations Looking for someone that happily goes between being sociable and independent, and happy in their own space; fun quirky and friendly, neat and respectful of others and can do their fair share of looking after the home. A love for music and anything creative is a bonus. Someone to call a mate and have fun times with!. I'm a non smoker and ideally would like to keep it that way in this home, otherwise smoking outside only.
Have a spacious room available 17/02 with an ensuite in Seddon 2 minute walk from train station, 5 minutes to coles, savers and everything else you need. The room itself can be furnished with a desk, tables etc, has a PRIVATE shower and toilet ensuite. No preference in housemate at all just clean up after yourself and pay bills on time. $750 per month, perfect for a couple. Gas and Water bi monthly and elec quaterly. So message me and lets organise an inspection! If you have any questions feel free to ask, Bobby
Hello! We have a room available in our lovely three-bedroom house in the inner-western suburb of Seddon. In between Footscray and Yarraville, it’s a dream spot. The shops (foodworks, so many cafes, lots of take out spots, and two cute af wine bars) are just 30 seconds up the road, and a pub is across from us. We’re a 5-10-minute walk to 2 train stations and 2 train lines, and it’s a quick trip into the city. The room: The room is medium sized and will be unfurnished but currently comfortably fits a double bed, desk, tallboy, shelving and clothes rack. It’s towards the back of the house so the window overlooks the backyard giving it lots of natural light. Ceiling fan and block out curtains as well. Rent is $193/week ($840pcm) for a single not including bills. Bond is actually just under 6 weeks rent ($1140, not 4 weeks as listed). We’re looking for someone long term happy to go onto the lease, which we are resigning in March for another 12 months! It’s available now, and we're hoping to organise meetings over the next week. Couples are also welcome to apply. The house: The house has an open-plan living-kitchen-dining, with a recently renovated kitchen (dishwasher, built in microwave, good sized oven, + our own espresso machine) and SO much natural light. We love a good house plant, the more the merrier. The house also has ducted heating and air conditioning. There’s a very spacious laundry with a washing machine and most importantly a dryer with lots of space to store any extra stuff you may have. Toilet is separate from the bathroom, which features a bath separate from the shower (heaven). Out the back is a summer night’s dream, with a setup perfect for a few beers and a chat which we take advantage of after a long day at work/uni or when we’re not out and about on our days off. There’s a little garden bed for any planting endeavours you might have too (we haven’t quite gotten there yet…). Street parking is also very easy, with permits available for those that drive and all day parking across the road.
We are a couple, studying full time, currently pursuing our post graduate studies. We are looking for a place preferably close to any local transport line considering we currently don't own a car; We love sharing our space with a few fur babies, so if you do have pets, that's a bonus!! We mostly cook and relax at home on days off so a common area would be great too! :))
Hi there, I work full time in Marketing and absolutely love my job. I am also a graphic designer, although I haven't done much in this field for a few years. I love getting out and seeing new sites as well as exploring new cafes etc. Love a chat! but also respect peoples privacy.
I'm a full-time teacher which keeps me busy during the day, exhausted at the end of a day and in need of glass of wine or beer at the end of a long week. I'm well house trained, don't smoke and love to cook for others. I won't hog the TV as I'd rather outside be in the running in the sunshine. Looking for something with a nice atmosphere of people, lots of natural light, good heating for winter, a room big enough for my extensive wardrobe and I plan on staying about a year.
I’m a 28yo professional working in media and communications. I work nights, so will be asleep while you are at work. I’m a tidy/clean person and tend to keep to myself, though always happy to socialise. Enjoy going to the gym and playing pub trivia. Looking for a minimum 3 month stay in the Seddon/Yarraville/Footscray area. Require parking and would prefer a private bathroom.
I’m a very easy-going and patient person. Very respectful of all walks of life. Would be keen to join a likeminded group of people who can give each other their own space but also come together for a drink/chat/hang. I’m clean and tidy and like to keep things simple. I’m a jazz musician and run a private music teaching studio (so I have a separate studio for that). If I practice it’s usually around midday when people are working and it’s very low volume anyway. I’m terms of fun, I spend a lot of time with mates, going to gigs and trying new places. Enjoy sports, cooking, reading and obviously music.
Hi everyone! My name is Felicia and I moved to Melbourne from Germany for a PhD at the Burnet Institute on a Uni Melbourne scholarship. I’m 26 years old and have lived in shared places for the last 5 years. I am clean and tidy and am looking to live in a place that feels like home. I am easygoing and would like to live with people who are happy to have a chat, watch the odd TV show or movie together and socialize over dinner/drinks every now and then, but are also independent and respect personal space. In my free time I enjoy cooking, going for runs, cycling and reading. I love pets and wouldn’t mind any living in the house. I’m looking to find a single room in a shared flat/house from the end of March. I currently live in lovely Yarraville and would like to stay in the area if I can. If you feel like I would be a good fit for your place, please feel free to contact me. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi! I’m Kate, 34 years old and working full time in public health research in North Melbourne. I am looking for a home for myself and my dog Archie. I love to cook, and particularly love baking. Archie is an 8 year old, blind, Tibetan Terrier who loves long walks in the park, playing fetch (through sound and smell) and napping. He is blind but very quickly maps out his surroundings and is well trained.

I’m not looking for a party house but a practial and peaceful place to share with others. I enjoy socialising on my free time as well as having my own space when I have work to do. Looking to move any time between now and 12th of Feb. Easy going, tidy, respectful of personal space and more than happy to keep to myself but I'm also happy to socialise with room mates. I work full time in hospitality at the moment so my weekends are usually Monday and Friday. Love to cook and I'm not too shabby at it either, I was raised in a female household so I am capable of putting the seat down if that helps. I spend most of my free time going to gigs and open mics around Melbourne to support mates. Besides that I'll be attached to my guitar (I'll be respectful dw) , sketchbook, Netflix or a pint glass. I can also bring a decent microwave with me if one's needed.
Hey, I'm a 26y/o full time profession. Looking for a whole property place instead of apartments. I'm tidy, love cooking (wouldnt mind sharing my dumplings :p) and always down for a banter. I have some plants that could brighten up the place too! Would love to end up being good mates with future housemates! I do need a car space or some sort of arrangements..!

I'm 27, non-smoker, no kids, no pets - but I don't mind if you smoke, have kids or have pets. If you respect me, I will respect you :) Cheers

Hi, I'm Jacqui. I'm 33 years old and work full time in education. I have been living on my own in a small apartment for the past 2.5 years and am looking to find a bigger place but also decrease my rent. I am no party animal, I work long hours during the school terms and will generally go to the gym, catch up with friends or family or go for a walk or a run afterwards. I enjoy cooking, watching the odd TV show or movie and travel. I try to go overseas once or twice or year. I'm usually up for a chat and a glass of wine but am also conscious of not being in the way. I am tidy and respectful.
