The house is a renovated Edwardian home, situated on a peaceful street, close to lots of parks and is only a 4 minute walk from Seddon train station (Williamstown and Werribee lines) and a 10 minute walk to the local shops. It takes 15 minutes on the train to get to Flinders St Station and 10 minutes going the opposite way to get to Williamstown Beach Station 🏊 🌅 All the rooms in the house are HUGE including yours (4.5 x 3.4 m2), which also has an ensuite, built in robes, and a great big window looking out onto the front garden. There are polished floorboards throughout, high ceilings, gas heating, a dishwasher and an abundance of natural light. There’s also off-street parking in the lock-up garage that leads to a lovely low-maintenance private courtyard.
Hi All! We have a lovely, spacious room available in Yarraville for $180 p/week plus bills (or $200 p/week for a couple). The room is available as of now! The room itself has a large built in robe and lovely lighting. It is currently furnished with a double bed and bedside tables. The house is open and has a lovely outdoor area, perfect for summer. You’d be committing to stay for ideally 6 months, with the possibility of extending if you’re after a longer lease. The house is super close to Seddon train station (about 3 minutes walk away) and is walking distance from both Seddon and Yarraville main strips. We are happy to welcome a couple or a duo travelling together.
Short Commute to the city, 5 min walk from Seddon Station and 12 minute walk from Footscray Station. NBN, large shared living space and large refurbished kitchen. Second story flat. Own sizeable bedroom however shared bathroom.
I'm a quiet uni student studying at the University of Melbourne. I'm looking for a relatively cheap room to rent which I will tend to keep to unless I'm cooking or out at uni. I really enjoy video gaming and playing music with others (I tend not to play much by myself). I'm quite friendly and happy to chat if need be as well as being comfortable to communicate about happenings in or around the house. I have no preferences for the age or gender of people I live with and will have a look at all offers. I have a small black domestic shorthair called Belle who loves playing and the occasional cuddle. She's quite nervous when it comes to new environments, but it doesn't take long for her to gain her confidence.
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.
I'm a 22 newly graduated film maker with my own production company and I also work casually in retail at Highpoint! I'm also a big fan of cooking and love the occasional dinner parties. I love to travel and I'm a big sports fan (especially AFL- GO THE TIGES!) I pride myself on being clean and tidy whilst also loving the balance of being social but also respectful of privacy and personal space! I'm a progressive thinker and love the culture the West has to offer which is why Yarraville is the dream suburb for me! I'm looking for short to long term stays so I'm pretty flexible and open to all options. Ideally moving in Feb works best for me, but again flexible with that too.
Moving from the Gold Coast. 25yr old, Full time professional. Just after a place close to Melbourne city and easy to get to work in Saint Kilda. Always down for a chat, a drink and hope future housemates can turn into friends. Not OCD but would like tidiness. Respects personal space. :)

Currently I'm in a staying at temporarily home and I will be quiting from here on 28th February. Besides to find a home/housemates, I really want to be a friend with and get close to my housemates. I am looking for a room in Footscray suburb as I will be studying at Victoria University FootscrayPark Campus. However, I am open to close areas to school by public transportation. I'd not prefer to shared room, but if we get along with each other, why not? In addition to all of these, I am completely open to TEAM UPs! I am not a clubber boy but love to enjoy from life. I love to exploring the new places, travelling, yes, why not? We can make a travel plan with you:) and also chatting in order to make my English advanced. That's all up to now. Please, feel free to contact me via mobile. I am also open to the suggestions, recommendations. Thanks!!!
Moving back to Melbourne after 2 years in Sydney to take up a new full time role in the medical education field. I am a social person and love to head out for a beer at the local pub, or for lunch/dinner anywhere new. Love meeting new people, can be quiet at first but warm up to people pretty fast. Looking for housemates that like to chat while cooking meals, perhaps hit up a pub trivia session once in a while or have an afternoon of beer drinking on the weekend. I'm not new to Melbourne have lived there many times and in a variety of suburbs. Have lived in many share houses throughout my life in my home town; Warrnambool, Melbourne, London and Sydney. I know how to treat a house and my flatmates with respect and hope to find others who are the same. I have a 2 gorgeous 12 month old black cats named shadow and lunar they are both pretty smoochy and are toilet trained. Whom I would like to bring with me. I'd be happy to meet a few peeps and create a new share house together. I have a whole house of furniture and would be happy share whatever is needed in a share house situation otherwise I can store the items elsewhere.
My name is Florencia, but like to be called Flo. I am from argentina (not backpacking) and am 29 yo. I have lived in shared houses before. Can clean after myself, i am responsible and respectful. Always pay rent on time. Not the best cook, but can always try my best and do the dishes. I enjoy sharing a meal and/or a glass of wineover good chat. Love cheese, and chocolate. I don´t have a pet myself, but it´d be great to be part of a house that has one or two or more. Planning on staying in Melbourne long term, trying to find a home, not ust a place to stay. Sharing with the right ppl is a must to me. I am very social, frendly and bubbly, but also enjoy having my own space. Will be arriving in Melbourne next Feb 14th. My budget is max $250 p/w including bills and internet.
Hey, my name is Ajay (FYI; 29, single, born & raised in Melbourne & Indian background ) and I am working full time hours in hospitality and studying full time in hospitality as well. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. With classes and work, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it) but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.
Hi thereee ! I am Julie, French Architecture student moving to Melbourne for a 6month-period in search of adventure and new friends. Very excited to come to Aus, and realize one of my biggest dreams !! I am very chilled and respectful of other's personal space. But I also am very friendly, and I absolutely love to socialize with people, make new friends and hang out on week-end and share meals during the weeks. I also always am up for a chat with a glass of wine, haha. Hope to hear from you soon, xx.
Hi there! I am easy to get along with, I know how to have fun but still clean up after myself. I love animals, and I work freelance in film and television. I am from the South Eastern suburbs, looking to move to the inner west!
I’m an easy going, down to earth osteopath and part time student. I love to counterbalance work by seeing my friends and getting outside - anywhere! I’m seeking a sociable share house where we can all hang out together and feel comfortable in our home. Whether this be exploring new cafes, sharing a bottle of vino or indulge in a Netflix binge session I’m down. I am also independent and value having time by myself to read, paint and contemplate life in the shower. I am an adaptable open person who is happy to work together on how we can make our place into a fun restorative little oasis.
Hi lovely people! What am I looking for? - Somewhere fun to stay with awesome housemates - Looking to stay for either a few months or for the long haul with the option of subletting my room when I go off for more than a month at a time (e.g. going to europe sometime this year) - Would be great to have outdoors or sports loving housemates that enjoy things like climbing, cycling, hiking, tennis or whatever else - A backyard would be amazing Why would you want me as a housemate? - I'm out of the house most of the time, working, I have things on most evenings and I'm often out for days or longer at a time on outdoorsy adventures - When I'm around, I like to be social, have a chat, share a beer or a wine, a meal, a movie or anything else happening - Got plenty of board games, and always keen on games nights - I have a car with plenty of space and a towball to help cart around big things - I enjoy working on projects around the house, and keen to do some gardening (by way of experimentation!) Frequently asked questions: - I was born here. Lived in NZ for awhile, and now back in Melbourne - I'm house trained. I'm not a neat freak, but believe things work nicer when dishes are cleaned soon after they are used (or the morning after if it's near bed time), objects are not blocking the walkways, and lawns are mowed - No dramas whatsoever about anyone's race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation - Left leaning, not that others need to be, but we'd probably get along better if we all were :) What you should know that might be an issue: - I would like a place where couchsurfers or visitors (anyone's) are welcome time to time - I like dumpster diving and won't hesitate to join anyone else willing or invite others - I'm mostly vegetarian but don't care what others eat / don't eat. Happy to be vegan in the house if others are
I will be moving to Melbourne in April for work and I’m looking for a place to stay. I am secure in my finances so I’ll never be short on rent. My working contract ends around the middle of January 2019 (with a chance of extension), so I am looking for a place to stay for around 9 months minimum. I will be working full time as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Werribee for a while before heading to St Vincent’s Hospital, I won’t be around during the day. Originally from Newcastle, I am a quiet, clean person, who enjoys baking, going out for dinner and going to the gym.
Hi, we´re a colombian couple studying commercial cookery here in Melbourne. We´re very friendly and easy going, don´t smoke and like quiet and clean places to live. We love biking, frisbee ultimate and almost all types of music.
I'm a nice person some would say, also easy going, kind and generous... I like to go out with my friends but mostly chill at home or at the gym. I work part time but I'm looking for a full time position.
Hi I am Danielle, I am 31 from the UK. I am a registered nurse and in the process of job applications. Until then, I am currently in a full time job. I am Very clean and tidy. I am Respectful of others. I like to keep healthy and fit but still enjoy a wine and a pizza.
A busy couple who are pretty low-key. Both Australians - one studying Masters and working part time at an engineering firm and the other working full time. Looking for a third person or another couple to team up with!
I work full time in children's publishing and also write my own kids' books. I love a good chat, a good meal, but every now and then a little quality time to myself. I can bring with me to your home a lovely array of houseplants, so that's a bonus.
Hi, we just moved down from Brisbane about a month ago so keen to meet new people and make friends! :D We're hoping to find a place that is friendly and welcoming but also allow us to have our own space. We quite often like to share laughs, movies, and meals with our housemates, but don't want a party house (outside of BBQ's and birthdays etc). We're respectful of other people's space but are looking for flat-mates rather than flat-humans. Homes are better than houses. I'm Karen (25) a full-time working professional as a risk engineering consultant for a culture change firm, likes to laugh, likes to eat, but also likes to chill in my room. Matt (31) studies environmental science and outdoor rec at Victoria University full-time, is very warm and happy, likes to get out and about, and likes to eat more. We love pets (but don't have any) and plants (we have 2) so if you have some that's awesome, but would prefer a place without kids (visits are definitely cool though). We're not in a rush to move into anywhere, so we will take our time to pick a great spot but if you think you're awesome and would love to hear more about us, just let me know!
Melbourne born and based, I am currently living in Kensington and looking to stay in the area (but am flexible.) Teacher by trade, I'm working in retail at the moment, mostly full-time. I am clean, tidy and respectful in shared spaces, and am looking for flatmates who are the same. If you have a relaxed and welcoming home, where everyone is friendly while respecting the need for personal space, send me a message I'd love to check out your listing.
Hi there! My name is Sharna. I work full time and I am a very bubbly and happy person. I am very approachable and easy to get along with. If you enjoy watching movies, pho and animals we are going to be great roomies! If you had any further questions please don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks :)
