Quietly tucked away in the heart of Wilston is this spacious three bedroom townhouse. Local amenities are just around the corner and a casual stroll up the road will have you enjoying all the cafes, shops and restaurants of Wilston Village. Bathed in natural light, the home has been freshly painted throughout and has new floor coverings in the living rooms and carpet in the bedrooms. The sun filled courtyard flows effortlessly out from the spacious living areas. The master bedroom is located on the lower level with built in robes and ensuite, and upstairs you will find another two generous bedrooms, bathroom with separate toilet and study nook. - Generous bedrooms all with built ins – main with ensuite and air conditioning - Freshly painted, with new flooring and carpets throughout - Ample storage and breakfast servery in the kitchen - Lock up garage and carport - Powder rooms downstairs
The house is quite large, everyone has enough space and then some. The house itself is tucked behind another house so its quite private and chill. If you like cafes like we all do, we have numerous in walking distance. Where we are is actually caught between The Grange, Lutwyche and Windsor - so we get the best of all three suburbs. Features of the house include - aircon, big ass laundry, 2 story house, 2 separate entertaining areas, a guest bedroom (on top of the room advertised), study, huge shower downstairs ;) and the cutest sausage dog next door.
The room we're renting out is the master bedroom position towards the front of the house. The other two bedrooms are towards the back. The room has a massive walk-in wardrobe and shower/toilet en-suite. The room also has air conditioning. This room would suit a single person or a couple. The house has lots of room, a giant deck and a nice large back yard. There's also storage underneath the house. There's plenty of on-street parking and we're located 5 minutes from Windsor train-station, 300m from a gym and about 10 minutes from the supermarket. We're very centrally located. 10-15 minutes to the Brisbane CBD ($12 in an Uber!!) and Windsor train station is 3 stations out of central train-station. House cleaning is just done when needed, we also take turns mowing the lawn once a month. You won't be required to sign onto a lease but if you could please commit to a minimum of three months stay. Please note: we have an 8 month old beagle puppy (called Bagel) and a small cat (called Baby cat). You have to okay with being around pets and just be aware around the puppy and not to leave anything laying around that he can chew. We sadly can't allow any more pets. We've got a spare bedframe if needed.
Hi potential housemates, I'm an easy going person with a good sense of humour. I'm currently working in cafe 30-40 hours a week as well as studying primary education. I'm relatively tidy and I'm happy to keep to myself but also enjoy being sociable. I love animals and am happy to share a house with some furry friends. I do have a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy named Toby. He's a playful, typical puppy and will grow into a big and beautiful dog. He loves his cuddles. I look forward to meeting with some of you soon :)
I am a teacher and theatre-maker. Easy to get along with, experienced in sharing houses and all that comes with it - sharing space, expenses, communication, cleanliness. I am fairly quiet and not particularly outgoing but like the company of a few friends with drinks. I'll be very busy so may not be home a lot, but when I am I just need a quiet space to rest.
Super clean to live with! In my last share house I lived with 3 other people, I was the weekly house cleaner. I’m fairly quiet and reserved, not a massive party person but I enjoy going out on the occasional Friday night! :) I work as a barista in Grange, so will definitely be able to make great coffee for the household haha. Going back to study enviro science at QUT :). I’m a fairly low key person, my idea of fun is a glass of wine in front of Netflix. Definitely a morning person, if anyone else is I’d appreciate a gym buddy :P.
Hi I'm Luke, work full-time, I cook, clean and I also meal prep (but eat whatever i want for dinner, so more than happy to cook meals for u and help u eat the ones u make 🤣🤣). I have my own furniture including a fridge and washing machine etc for us to share. Im fun and adventurous. Only drink socially 6 months of the year as the rest of the year im prepping to get back on stage. Don't mind going out, and don't mind if you wanna have people over (it's your house too). I also like staying in and watching netflix. I like the beach and love the gym. I would prefer to live with a female as I get along with them more i suppose. Im tidy but not a clean freak. Id also like to become friends with my housemate. I have a medium sized dog as well so i hope thats ok. Im keen to live anywhere really as long as its with 37km of enoggera as Im in the Army and need to commute to the base. Dates to move in can be flexible if need be. Ideally I'd like to team up with someone and find a house together.
I am a photographer running my own small business covering most types of photography from schools to sporting events. I am easy going and reliable and enjoy spending time relaxing with others around the house but definitely appreciate having a space of my own at times... Not a party animal but do work hours outside of the standard 9-5 Monday to Friday, I can work some very odd hours but am very respectful of others if I come and go early or late. Reliable and willing to help out and do my share in flat, and while I have my own life ideally would like to become friends with those I live with not just people who share a house. My cat is a very cute little girl who loves attention and short cuddles when it suits her. She is four years old and is lovely and very sweet natured.
Hello! I am moving to brisbane from Victoria to study Masters at UQ Herston. I will be obtaining employment once I arrive. I have lived in shared accomodation for several years and am clean, respectful and easy going. Looking for a relaxed house where I can study, socialise and feel at home. I love dogs so am open to households with pets :) I like to keep active, and will usually go to the gym after work each day. I am eager to explore Queensland and love being outdoors. In Victoria I have been working in education and disability support and will hopefully continue to work in these fields up in QLD. I have a small car, so would like to know car parking options. As I am moving from Victoria I will not have furniture for my room with me so a furnished room would be a bonus -however I am open to rooms which are unfurnished :) University starts on the 19th of feb, However would like to arrive a week or two earlier to settle in. Thanks!
Hi future housemates! I am moving to Brisbane in February. I'm a physiotherapy student studying my 4th and final year! I will be working as a physiotherapist in hospitals around Brisbane finishing my uni clinical placements, as well as a gymnastics coach. I am a friendly, upbeat person, always up for a chat, a Neflix/Friends/Grey's Anatomy sesh, a casual glass or two of wine and maybe a fun night out, but I also like my personal space. I like going to the gym, cooking, shopping, exploring, or going to the beach. I am always respectful, mindful of my fellow housemates, clean and tidy. Nonsmoker, no children, no pets (but I love dogs) I have a great previous rental history and have done the whole house share thing so the do's and don'ts. Looking somewhere to live somewhere $200-250 close to the CBD/North of the River with a nice homely feel. I would prefer a housemate/s to be of similar age, female or co-ed. I will be moving to a new city so and don't know anyone so being able to build a friendship and a home not just somewhere to sleep would be an added bonus! Furniture wise I have a fridge, bedroom furniture, TV and a heap of kitchen stuff. The ideal place would be a nice apartment/house, with my own room big enough to fit a Queen bed and own bathroom, AC, close to public transport, a balcony perfect for drinking wine on and a supermarket nearby.
I'm well versed in sharehouses and a traveller at heart. I'm easy going and respectful of space. I'm clean and tidy and introverted but love to have a drink and cook, too. I'm a scientist by day, creative by night keen on film and the arts.
Looking for all-female house/flat (with no boyfriend-sleepovers) close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats (if possible) or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! : ) Prefer similar age-range/ 26-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean, considerate, and friendly, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - about 1.5 cubed metres (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room).
I'm looking for the perfect place for me and my beautiful dog, Gus (ask for pics, I promise you'll love him). I'm moving out of my current house in March/late Feb as my housemates are both moving for work. Sadly because of Gus I can't live in an apartment, as he needs a bit of space to run about and I'd feel terrible putting him in a tiny courtyard, so here I am, looking for a place with a yard! I'm keen to find a place to share with one other person. I've got some furniture and white goods, and I'm willing to purchase whatever is missing if I team up with someone. A little about me? I've always lived in Brissie (Except for a couple of years gallavanting overseas after uni), I work full-time as the CFO in a small company, and I spend my weekends out and about, often hitting up beaches and forest walks with friends and my dog. I don't party, but enjoy the occasional couple of quiet wines on a Friday night with friends (or potentially new housemate) over dinner/boardgames/movie. Gus is a 1year old border collie X stumpy-tailed cattle dog. He's a quiet dog and only ever barks if there's a possum, cat or someone he doesn't know in the yard (he's been known to chase intruders!!) He's well-behaved and although he's an active breed, I exercise him daily and he's surprisingly more calm than most working dogs I've met. Although he's previously been used to being inside when I'm at home, he and I would be happy enough for him to be an outdoor-only dog if required.
A bit about us - we are both students; Ash is studying nursing/paramedics and I am in my final year of medicine. We both work part-time in hospitality. We love travel, a glass of red wine here and there, enjoy cooking; we are both vegetarian (we eat too much cheese and hummus).
Hi! I'm looking for a fresh start on the northside, 11 years on the southside time to see what's the fuss is about on the northside. Very clean & tidy, social at the same time I respect other's space (not a space invader) as i love to have time to self. I love getting out and about then can also spend time being homely. I love cooking, going for walks, being active, watching movies, learning new things, meeting new people. I love to spring clean every so often, something I knew about myself until i had my own place. Im easy to get along with. Im not looking to become best friends, happy to hangout over a meal sometimes or to chat, watch TV in lounge area. I have a small dog(child) Sahara, she keeps to herself when she isn't with me. Sahara is a hypoallergenic breed. Most,if not all people fall in love when meeting her. She is toilet trained. Sahara only barks when strange noise at nights. She is a good with people. Is my shadow till at ease then she will be wanting a pat or to play though she not in your face or underneath your feet, as she like to chill be it on her bed or in the sun. Personality plus yet not hyper. Pretty awesome dog and well trained. She is my family in qld as my family live down south & OS... I may have a friend over once in a blue moon for dinner or hangout in room watch a movie. That's me a bit of a paradox .
29 year old professional looking for a nice and quiet place to live. Love spending my weekends going on adventures, hiking or beach. Really into healthy lifestyle, enjoy going to the gym and cooking. Non smoker, fun, tidy and respectful. Always up for a chat, watch a movie together and have dinner after a long day at work :)
Hi! I’m looking a for a new place to call home. I’m a 22 year old nurse and am currently studying my masters degree at QUT! I like adventure, chill out to Netflix, enjoy a beverage and relax when I’m not at work or uni. I’m clean, tidy and easy going!
Hi there, I am an open-minded, polite, and well mannered individual. I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years and am currently a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Personal Trainer who is also managing a gym. It keeps me out of trouble and mindful of my health and fitness. When not in the gym for work or pleasure (pain?) I do play sport and head out for weekend hobbies. This is not to say I am not partial to a glass of red and the conversation/meal/film it is accompanied by. I am a people person and love meeting new people. I also come with a 4 year old border collie, Jack. He is super relaxed and quiet but loves a good old pat. 100% an outside dog with no chewing or digging. He's the best! I am hoping to team-up with one other to create a relaxed and enjoyable houseshare. I you've any queries of me, be sure to send me a message. Otherwise, let us get coffee and find a place. Until then, I will leave you with this: 'Not ignorance, but ignorance of ignorance, is the death of knowledge.' - Alfred North Whitehead (1861-1947).
I'm 21 and and currently working for an insurance company in the city. I keep pretty clean, play sport most week nights, and like to get out and about on the weekends. Ideally, I'm looking for a couple of fun, social housemates who don't mind a chat and a beer on the weekends.
Single 28yo female. Full-time employment at a hospital. I enjoy being active and also catching up with friends for a wine/beer, etc on weekends or seeing some live music. I enjoy going to the beach on weekends. Currently trying to get better at surfing is part of my 2018 resolutions. I've stupidly decided to do a marathon this year so would love somewhere with good running tracks nearby.
Hi I’m tyson 26 looking to find a nice place where there i can interact with housemates but still have my own space , need and tidy and I expect the same of my room mates . If you could please contact me on that would be great cheers
