I’m an international student from the UK doing my study year abroad at UWA. I’m pretty laid back and would prefer to live with other students. I also enjoy going out and I'm looking forward to experiencing Australia.
Hi I am a 25 year old woman from Denmark. I am studying for a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Psychology at Copenhagen Business School, but I am now beginning a semester at UWA. Therefore, I am looking for a room in Perth from now until the end of November. I have always preferred to live together with other people, but I also like to take time for myself sometimes. I have lived in Copenhagen for some years, but before that I lived in England and Norway for a while. I am very tidy and a non-smoker. As a person, I am very social and I like to spend time with friends and family as well as meeting new people and exploring new countries and cultures. I spend a lot of time doing sports – in Denmark mostly badminton and running. Here in Australia I am looking forward to trying out some of the many outdoor sports. I have just arrived in Perth, so I would like to come by and see the room as soon as possible. Best regards Line Thøgersen
I am a Psychology and Languages student at the University of Western Australia, who works in a cafe as a barista. I’m fresh back in Perth after spending a semester abroad in Freiburg (southern Germany), and thus am in need of a room (from August 15th or later)! I have loads of experience living in share houses having lived in one in North Perth from 2012-2015 and then two others in West Perth since then. As a housemate I like to have a nice rapport and socialise over a cup of tea or a glass of wine, but also keep to myself when I have a big essay to write for uni or an exhausting day at work. I think it’s really important to have open communication in the house, with as little drama as possible and keep a positive energy amongst each other. I like to keep my spaces tidy, and I love to get together to cook food every now and then if that’s something you’d be interested in! I am currently looking for something between three to four months only. Currently I plan to move to the Netherlands before New Years Eve because my partner lives there- so until the beginning to mid December would suit, however there is a possibility that I might stay longer (by a month or so) Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
I am a Brazilian student looking for a beautiful, positive, and quiet place to live during my stay in Perth. I am going to study at UWA as part of my PhD in Physical Education. I am a social, hardworker, and easygoing person. I hope that I will have a good time in Australia.
We are seeking a friendly, easy going housemate for a houseshare in leafy Shenton Park. The house is within easy access of the city, Subi, King's Park and UWA! Rent is 170 per week + utils and the bond is $653. Please note we are currently re-negotiating our rent contract and we hope to bring this price down more :) I'm sub-letting my own room. You will be sharing with two students, one studying statistics and one finishing his PhD in science. Both are very nice, chill dudes and we like to make sure our house is a friendly and welcoming place to come home to. The bedroom is large with built in cupboards, it's own door for external access, large window and TV aerial port. I will be taking my furniture but I will supply basic furnishings (queen bed, drawers, desk, shelving, chair) or provide it unfurnished if you prefer. The house is a modern, attached house with renovated bathroom, reverse cycle air-con and undercover parking for 2 cars as well as street parking. There is a shared living / kitchen-dining area and a separate outdoors alfresco area. The property is located on a quiet leafy street, near both the Shenton Park and Subiaco Shopping districts, there are heaps of excellent coffee shops and restaurants nearby. It's only 2 mins walk to King's Park to escape the concrete jungle and an easy 15-20 min commute by bus to both UWA and the city. This room would suit a UWA student or a young professional working in the Subiaco area or in Perth. Available now :)
Hi, My name is Karoliina Kuusisto, a 25-year-old Finnish girl currently conducting my Master’s in International Marketing and Management at Copenhagen Business School. I will study as an exchange student in UWA for one semester. Briefly as a person, I am outgoing, social and internationally-oriented. I love living in different countries, getting to know different cultures and meeting new people. On the other hand, I also care for my grades, so school work is important for me to balance my social life. I am a non-smoker, responsible and very tidy person. As a hobby, I like going to the gym as well as exploring all the cafes and brunch places in Perth ;) I am a big ice hockey fan and have myself played it for 15 years. I also enjoy having some wine and hanging out with friends. Finally, I love traveling and have moved around to different countries most of my adulthood. I am hence also used to living in shared housing and like it a lot. It is nice sometimes to cook and spend time together but I also like to have time to myself. I am already in Perth so I would love to come by to see the room and meet you in person. :) Best, Karoliina
My name is Ida, I am a 24 year old girl from Denmark and I’m doing an exchange semester at UWA. I’m doing my bachelor degree in organisational communication and back home I study at the Copenhagen Business School. I am looking for a place to stay during my exchange and I think that your place sounds really nice! I am a very tidy person and a non-smoker. I don’t party much but I enjoy a glass of wine with a nice meal. I have lived in shared accommodation before and I love the company, but I also respect a closed door as I understand the importance of privacy. Besides my studies I love singing, and sing in a choir back home in Copenhagen.
I'm an incoming international student at UWA from Montreal and i'll be staying in Perth for the length of the semester before traveling a little bit. I came to UWA to study marine biology and i'm doing a research internship in that particular field so i'll be spending quite a lot of time at uni. I'm a very easy going and laid back person who's eager to meet new people and see what it is like to live the Australian way.
This gem resides in the most convenient of locations. Located at the border of Shenton Park and Subiaco, this 2 bedroom unit on the ground floor is close to nearby UWA and The QEII Health Campus. In a nice quiet residential pocket, this unit is perfect for students. With extensive public transport options and bike tracks just a few meters away, getting around is so easy. On Saturday’s, the Subiaco Farmers Market, is a short 10 minute walk away and Kings Park is just around the corner. The available bedroom has its own external access to 1 of 2 courtyards and will accommodate a queen bed. The unit has a generously sized living space and a large shared bathroom.
Seeking Granny flat/Studio or independent place only. I am not seeking any share accomodation. About me/us I am permanently full time employed in a professional capacity in East Perth. It's just me and my small dog called Coco, a 3.5kg non shedding Schnoodle. I do have a partner that I (and Coco) spend time with most weekends at his house. Coco is a 3 years old teacup Schnoodle (1/2 mini schnauzer, 1/2 mini poodle). She is used to apartment style living and ideally gets walked 1-2 times a day (seasonal and weather dependant). She isn't much of a yapper or barker but can be a little protective of her home/space. She sleeps in a crate at night inside but I would value training her to sleep outside. I have been living in my own Apartment (Queens Riverside next to Fraser Suites) for the past 2 1/2 years. This year my Strata levies increased by 110% (our story was featured on the radio, online news, TV and print media in mid March). The increase in levies, coupled with absorbing rental income decreases for another property I have, means that I need to spend at least 12 months in cheaper accommodation to recoup some savings and finish paying off some debt. What I am seeking I am seeking a fully furnished self contained Studio/Granny flat or fully furnished shared accomodation for me and Coco Schnoodle. I do have a car but street parking is fine. I don't need a garage or carport. Location I have the opportunity to move to any suburb but I do prefer to be within 3-5km of the city/East Perth. It needs to be close to public transport or direct bike path. After the past 5 years living within 1-2kms of work, I am not a fan of long durations getting to/from work. Timing I ave moved out of my apartment and currently staying with friends. I'd like to get settled somewhere as soon as possible but need to make sure it's the right place. I can only view after 5.30pm and can move on a weekend. Ideally I want of ind somewhere for up to a year. Budget I am limited with my budget and am looking for anything between $200 to $300 inclusive of bills and internet. I am very power conscious and look to minimise resources as much as possible. My internet use is minimal (my flatmate and I used to use about 8 gig per month between us). If you think you have something that might suit me and Coco, we would love to hear from you. Thanks.
Hello everyone!! Lottie and I are both 20 and from the UK (study abroad students from Brighton). Neither of us got into university accommodation at UWA and are looking for a nice flat to stay in until at least the end of November. We arrive on thursday the 13th of July and are staying in the billabong backpackers hostel until the 24th of july. Ideally the place would be walking distance to the uni or a short public transport journey. Preferably we'd like two separate beds in a furnished house. We are both very friendly and chilled out people - we are easy going but also respectful! Looking for fun people to live with - who are happy to show us some cool places in Perth!
I will be completing my Master Degree in Geology/Earth Science at the University of Western Australia, and therefore looking for a place to live in while studying around the university area. I'm a very active individual who is very passionate about the outdoors. I like escaping the city, go for a hike, go rock climbing, or kayak some whitewater. I'm pretty much an adventure driven person, who is well travelled. Would be nice to find a flatmate/s who share the same passion.
Hey! I'm 22 and half time working at a tech company while finishing my second degree at UWA. I am pretty laid back and easy to get along with, bit of a late riser in the morning, like spending evenings watching tv with a laptop and occasionally going out for drinks. Bit bored living alone at the moment, so it would be good to have some company around :)
Hi! I'm a 24 y/o Norwegian exchange student looking for a place for my semester at UWA. I'll be arriving in Perth on July 19th, and staying until December 8th, approximately. I'll be spending my time working on my MA thesis in English, and hopefully do a bit of travelling as well. I am a friendly and relaxed person, and spend my spare time working out, relaxing with friends, and going out on the weekends. I've lived in several shared houses for the past four years and would descibe myself as easy-going, flexible and tidy.
I am looking for someone to take over my room as I am relocating to the east coast. The room is spacious and you get the park view. It's right in front of Rosalie Park :) Ideal spot for a uni student, a young professional working in the city or nearby. The house is fully furnished (1 bathroom,2 toilets). The room comes with a king single bed with, desk &a chair, a bookshelf, a tall mirror, fan. And there is a little table and chairs on the balcony where you can relax looking at the park :) The house is literally 2 seconds from the bus stop to CBD(No.24,25) and UWA/Subiaco(No.97) Rent : $200/week plus bills which will be split by 3. Bond: $800 It is a very comfortable house and not a party house. You will be living with two females both works / studies at UWA. Text or email me with a little bit of info of yourself if you are interested. Available from 23rd July but moving date negotiable.
I am a postgrad student at Notre Dame in freo and also working as an analyst. Between the two, I am usually quite busy! During the week, I am running around between work, uni, gym and the occasional catch ups with friends. I like having a bit more balance during the weekends, and when I am not buried with study, I certainly don't mind a wine or two :) coastal runs, cook ups and being out and about in general, etc. I have done my fair share of shared housing so definitely know the drill when it comes to bills, cleanliness, etc. I am friendly, active and social; whilst I would love to live with like minded people that I can occasionally share a meal or drink with ( in fact...finding the right people makes all the difference), I can also respect your space. My lease is not up until mid august, at which time I will be ready to move asap, possibly earlier if I've found a great household to be a part of :)
Easy going guy, love my Fitness,Surfing, beach. My Pet Dog "Bear" a 3yr old Chocolate Groodle is very clean and doesn't loose hair.I am Dual Trades Qualified(Tradie) and have my own Handyman Maintenance Business, extremely tidy and respectful person :)
Hi, my name is Doro (short for Dorothée), I am a 23 years old medical student from Germany. I am going to Perth in the beginning of September 2017 to collect medical research data at the Princess Margaret Hospital for my M.D. For that I will stay in Perth until end of March 2018. I think this work will take a lot of time, so you might find me at the hospital or at my desk often; more like a fulltime worker. Anyway I would love to do something in the evenings or at weekends together :) It would be great to find a place to stay which is max. 5km away from the Hospital :) I like to cook, to cycle, to go jogging, to travel and to read. I use to be a pretty calm and even-tempered person, but nevertheless I am very open-minded ready to explore Perth and Australia, as it will be my first visit in your country!
Hi there, I'm interested in teaming up with one or two other people and getting a place around Cottesloe. I'm ideally looking to move out early August but I'm flexible with dates. I've also got plenty of furniture, cutlery and white goods. I'm a lawyer by profession and I enjoy music, terrible TV shows and the occasional glass of wine. Hit me up if you're interested :) Ed.
I HAVE TWO INDOOR ONLY BURMESE CATS. Looking to find one or two others to either move in to an exsisting place or find a place together. I have two indoor only burmese cats who are amazing cats and friendly but need to stay indoors so am looking for others who love cats and are appreciative of this. I work full time in CBD. Not long been in Perth as recently moved over from QLD. So would be nice to live with friendly outgoing people who dont mind going out together every now and then. I am very down to earth and easy going. Clean tidy and respectful of others. I like to drink every so often and like to get outdoors and do things. Sorry I cannot live with smokers as the fumes just about kill me. Looking at sharing with people AROUND MY AGE, looking for a home not a revolving share house/backpackers. Thanks, Linda :)
I'm studying my second degree full-time at UWA whilst working part time at a wine store. Beyond studying and working I like to work on my computer, have an occasional drink with friends and read. I'm pretty easy going, like to keep neat and tidy and like to socialise with my housemates.
