Hey guys! Unfortunately, we are losing one of our housemates to the East, so we're in need of a replacement. You'll need to do a lease transfer from said roommate, and we have 6 months left on the lease. It's an old house on a quiet street, with renovated bathroom and kitchen. High ceilings throughout and huge windows at the front of the house (your room!) that lets in beautiful light. We have one bathroom and a second toilet seperate so it's no problem to share between 3/4 people (I also shower at work 5/6 days a week, as I'm a swim teacher so you're essentially sharing with one other) We have a spacious backyard, perfect for sunning yourself and relaxing. The room itself, is huge! Comes unfurnished but the rest of the house is furnished so no problem if you don't have anything to contribute. We are 100 metres from the Showgrounds complex, with Coles, chemists, doctors clinic, restaurants, first choice liquor and more! 100 metres from the tram stop which goes to multiple train stations or it's only a 12-15 minute walk to Newmarket or Ascot Vale station. 20 minutes to the city or 30 on the tram if you don't want to get the train. Ascot Vale is a dream to live in for all your brunching/dining out needs. Union Rd shops a short walk and plenty of parks around too. PETS - I have a dog that occasionally visits so you must like doggos. We'd consider cats, but unfortunately can't accept dogs as our real estate don't allow them permanently. COST - $1050/month for a single, 1250/month for a couple
Huge sunny room available in Ascot Vale Looking for a single ($1050/month) or a couple ($1250) to fill the large room in our sharehouse. This is the largest room in the house, located at the front, that gets great amounts of sun filtering through. Prime location in Ascot vale. The house is 100m away from a tram stop that takes you past two train stations, Newmarket and Flemington Bridge or directly into the city. Coles Village showgrounds and other shops are 200m away. A 15 min walk in either direction can take you to some great cafes and restaurants. The house itself is all furnished bar the room available. There is a large backyard with a long driveway, so car spaces are available. Pets will be considered.
Hello! I'm Laura, I teach animation part time at RMIT and work in retail, but am looking for producer jobs so hopefully that will change soon. I've previously been a private cook, so enjoy sharing and cooking meals. Currently I'm trying to get back into rollerskating, and enjoy playing board games, animating, and reading in my spare time. I'm generally on the quieter side, but am always happy and up for a chat :)
Hello, I work full time in the Community sector. Ideally would love a modern apartment / townhouse with a spot for my car (on street is okay)
23 years old, young professional, work full time shift work. Enjoy spending time with family/friends and socialising heading out in the city.
Im a young fulltime worker that spends most of my time at work or out getting to know melbourne. Ive just moved over from new zealand to start a full time job over here. Im clean, tidy, respectful of others things and space but also happy to get to know everyone and anyone :)
Full time employed in IT. Non smoker. Looking for a single room with a good connection to Moonee Ponds, Craigieburn train line or tram route 59. From September to May 2019 with the possibility of extension.
Hi I’m Andrew I’m clean but not anally retentive about it. I like animals so if you have pets that’s awesome. I’m pretty good at quizzes. I smoke but if you want me to smoke outside that’s cool, I understand I’m killing my self slowly and that you may not wish to do the same. I’m sociable but also like my own company and pretty conscious of people also enjoying there own.
I'm 26 and moved to Australia permanently a year go, and I've been living in a flatshare in Southbank. Now I'm hoping to get amongst things in the Melbourne suburbs. I work full-time at VicRoads as a Project Engineer in the CBD. I love music and play guitar myself. I love sport too but still trying to get my head around footy! I also enjoy spending time with good people having a drink and good food, and getting outdoors too. I'm Sri Lankan originally but grew up in Abu Dhabi. I lived in London and Hong Kong before Melbourne, so have been sharing flats for a while now.
Greetings! You (a lovely human looking for a someone to share a humble abode with) are probably wanting to learn a little more about me (prospective roommate and person to share cups of tea with). I am a third year International Development student with a growing collection of pot plants. Interests include intermittentely learning languages, drinking copious amounts of tea, immersing myself in nature and propelling myself through university with a large helping of perfectionism. I have been living in sharehouses for the past four years, and am very comfortable respectfully sharing space with other people. I tend to be a relatively reserved person, and am looking for someplace homely rather than a party house. I am both tidy and responsible, and would love to find a household with a friendly atmosphere. I look forward to hearing from you. Seline x
Hey! I'm a 34 - year old psychology student, studying over at Victoria University in Footscray Park campus. I like to do a bit of cooking, and would love to have a team cook-out with my flatmates or other similar shenanigans. For my free time, I'm mainly focusing on my studies, and going to the gym. I value cleanliness and consideration above all else. Looking for like-minded individuals who want to live in a clean, calm (especially at night-time), and pleasant environment. I don't have too much of my own stuff, so I'm ideal for households that don't want the property to be crammed with different items. Also for that reason I'm looking for a furnished room. Drop a message and lets have a chat. :)
I'm a creative and easy going person. I bring positive energy to the room :) I'm a musician (studying vocal full time) and part-time worker as an office admin. I'm easy with paying on time and thinking logically. At the same time I'm a creative soul who loves to do music. I prefer to live with full-time workers - as in this way i can schedule my vocal practice when everyone is outside of home, and so im not a pain to live with haha.
I am a 23 year old working full time in an admin role in the insurance and risk industry (fun!). I am very chill, love cleaning, not the greatest cook but always willing to give it a go, and my favourite way to spend my evenings is to watch Netflix. I also com with Pepper, a 6 month old kitten who is toilet trained, super cute, and up to date on all vaccines. I'm looking for housemates I can be friends with who are up for occasionally spending time together.
My name is Ahmed, I am 19 years old. I am currently looking for work and have the means to pay rent and bills. I am a respectful and tidy housemate, very reliable with paying rent and bills on time. I am a musician, and when I am not looking for work I am focused on doing this.
I am a postgraduate student from The Netherlands and will do a research project at The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health for 6 months. At home, I live in a quiet area with my long-term boyfriend and puppy for over two years now. I am looking for a nice home in Melbourne during my internship. I am very sociable and I like to chat, but I also like the quiet and peaceful. Furthermore, I would like to get to know more about the Australian culture and the country! Sharing living room, bathroom and kitchen is no problem. In addition, I really like to cook and bake, so you would be getting a lot of cookies.
Young at heart single 38yo. Down to earth, positive and love anything health and fitness! Im currently living in a 1 bedder in Ascot Vale but my landlord has told me she is going to sell the property (no time frame as yet) so I am starting the process of finding a new place - hoping in the next 2 months. I am ideally looking for someone to find a place with in or around the Footscray area as the properties look nice and are reasonably priced for a 2 bed townhouse and is close enough to the city which is where I work. I have everything but a fridge and washing machine which I'm happy to look at purchasing/renting when the time comes. Im super easy going and would like someone who is up for sharing dinners and a glass of wine at the end of the day. I have a cat so Id like somewhere that has a courtyard as he is indoor/outdoor - he is super friendly but not annoying and very low maintenance so you must like cats :) If you're cool, fun, down to earth and happy to share a home (not just live) then please get in touch.
So candidly speaking, I'm Taran Bedi from India, currently pursuing Masters in Management from University of Melbourne as of now. It's my first time abroad with regard to studies. Hygiene is important to me, not a cleanliness freak, but yes, not one of those who'd keep the place littered. It might sound like I'm blowing my own trumpet but I'm an understanding person and respect privacy of others. That's about all. If you'd like to know anything, let me know☺
Hey, I'm 35, well-traveled, worked in various cultures, multilingual and have a variety of interesting experiences to share. I am easy to get along, well-mannered, tidy, well organized and love to read. I am an experienced finance professional (Chartered Accountant and Management Accountant) and moving to Melbourne from overseas. I have previously lived in Melbourne briefly in 2015 and have a close circle of friends here. I would like to find a housemate who is easy to get along. I am a hopeless cricket fanatic and have been following cricket matches from as early as the early 1990s. My cricketing nirvana was to watch the WorldCup final live in Melbourne on March 29, 2015. I like to strike a balance between work and being fit and although I am not a gym goer but try to walk the miles to keep in shape. I am committed to continuing education and was studying as recently as 2017. I love to travel and have had the chance to extensively travel across the Middle East, Europe and Far East Asia together with my wife. I am looking for something that is short to medium term until my wife joins me close to the mid-November. I am aiming to move in around the fourth week of September 2018. Please give me a call or send me a text if you would like to get in contact. Cheers, Umair
Scotsman, on a working holiday in Melbourne. Kind, responsible, clean and honest man. Spent the last year, after graduating, sailing across the Indian Ocean. I don't drink or smoke and try to live a healthy lifestyle. Love the ocean, and enjoy anything that involves exploring nature. I like watching documentaries, listening to podcasts and meditation. I like my own space, but would also enjoy a house where we can binge watch some Netflix or share a meal once in a while :)
Hello! I'm originally from San Francisco, USA and am now a vet student at the University of Melbourne. I'm great to live with because I'm quiet, clean, and respectful. Definitely not a party animal, but I enjoy a nice glass of beer or wine at the end of the day. I do like having my own space at times, but would also like to have flatmates that I can have a friendly chat with now and then. I do have a cat, and although he's a bit of a scaredy cat and might hide out in my room a lot, I'd like to find a place where he can be part of the household. I'm fairly flexible with location, as long as it is relatively easy to get to Melbourne Uni. My move-in date and preferred length of stay are also flexible.
