I’m in my late 20s, work full-time (a mix of WFH and office days in the CBD) and I’m on the lookout for either a room in an established share house or someone to team up with for a new rental in the inner-city burbs (Ideally Hamilton, Newstead, West End kind of areas). I'm pretty lowkey during the week — past my party era and usually found in my room after a long day of work, but always up for a glass of wine and a good chat to end the week. Weekends are usually spent walking, cafe-hopping or bingeing a new show or reading a good book. I’m after a housemate who’s easygoing, social but respectful, and values a mix of connection and space. Since I WFH 2–3 days a week, I’m totally open to living with someone who also works from home as long as we both have a good setup (separate workspaces or a dedicated study) so we’re not on top of each other. A lot of my job is being on the phone so I imagine that could get annoying for someone else who is working at home if we don't have our own space. I don’t drive, so any car spots are all yours — I’d just love to be near good public transport (train, ferry or bus). I’ve got bedroom furniture but happy to chip in for any additional shared furniture, particularly in a team up situation where we are getting a new rental. I am super flexible on move date, at this stage I am just looking for the right fit as I am in no rush to leave where I am currently. Open to living with any gender, as long as the vibe’s good!
