Monique here! My lease is coming to an end and my current roommate is moving in with her boyfriend, so I'm looking for a new house and roommate. (Ladies only - sorry fellas)
My friends would describe me as an easy-going, sarcastic resting bitch faced, organised IKEA bundle who has bad time management skills, but manages to always make it on time. Who dont need no man because I'm fiercely independent, but loves the idea of love!! (and no this isn't an opening for my dating life)
Looking for a house not to be someone's housewife!
My work schedule is all over the place, I work in aviation so sometimes I'm home for days and other times I'm gone for days. I would consider myself a social bunny but I'm new to Brissie so still trying to find my inner circle, so getting quite use to my alone time.
I want my house to be a place where I can wind down and relax, not a place that's constantly full of people. However, I'm open to the idea of my roommate hosting small gatherings - I would just like to know about these ahead of time. (I am big on communication, it's just the shutting up part that I'm bad with, so I will invite myself to join)
I'm down to get to know each other; I'm not saying we have to be best of friends, but I would like to do things, like occasionally watch TV together and have little self-care nights in; where we order cheesy takeout then head to pilates the next day, over the guilt of eating too much.
I like to keep common living spaces clean. I do my dishes every day and put away my belongings when I get home from work. I'm open to the idea of a cleaning schedule to keep things organised.
