I have an English Staffy named Zuko who is my best mate. He's house trained (I've raised him in apartments and share houses) and very friendly and sweet. I work full time as a policy professional, mostly from home but I do go into the office 1-2 times per week. I also travel a little bit for work and to visit friends and family back in Sydney a few times a year. I have my own furniture which I plan to bring with me to our new home- ideally, you would only need to furnish your own room but I can be flexible with common spaces. I'm interested in a team up but am also open to moving into an existing rental if the right place comes along. I'm flexible with my move-in date. Hi future flatmates! It already feels amazing to wake up to Brisbane’s sunny mornings. I’m Hyesung from Korea, here for a language course and working holiday. I’ve spent quite a few years in shared living—5 years in dorms during high school and uni, plus 2 years in the military—so I’m very comfortable living with others. I’ve always had great experiences with roommates and I’m excited to make more good memories here. I also lived on my own for about 3 years, which got me into cooking. I really enjoy making food—lately lots of burritos since I love Mexican food—but I can also whip up some Korean dishes if anyone’s keen. I like keeping things clean and organized. Back when I stayed in a homestay, my host mum once saw my room and even asked me to show the other housemates how to tidy up! Fitness is a big part of my life too. I run at least three times a week and join the Brisbane City Parkrun every Saturday morning at 7am. I’m also into home workouts, weight training, and always up for a game of futsal or basketball. My cool Japanese friend is also looking for a place, and if there’s one more spot available, they’d be welcome!
