Enjoy the whole third floor of a fully furnished townhouse with everything you need within 500m! The master bedroom comes with a queen-sized bed/mattress, two bedside tables, a desk, a gigantic walk-in closet, and a very spacious bathroom with twin basins and a bathtub. There's ducted AC and hardwood flooring throughout, save for tiles in the bathrooms and laundry - located on the second floor. The ground floor is dedicated to cooking, dining and living - with tonnes of kitchen bench space and storage. There's also a secure parking space underground. The bond is 4 weeks rent, plus two weeks in advance. You'll be taking up the lease that ends on the 1st of August 2019 - but this can be extended if the townhouse isn't sold. If you're interested but can't stay until August, I'd be happy to pay you a week's rent to compensate for the cost of breaking the lease, and allow you to reuse the info/photos on my listing to assist you in finding a replacement :) What I love about living here is having IGA on the same block, and the Southbank TAFE Campus is about a 7min's walk down Merivale St. It's very flat terrain, which makes pulling a cart full of groceries home from Coles a breeze. It's dead quiet despite being in the heart of Brisbane. The property managers are very friendly, answer all your questions and get issues/repairs resolved quickly. Overall this will make a very affordable and conveniently-located home for any student, or couple. Feel free ask me any questions :)
Howwwdy, my name is Sam. I'm currently looking for a room, but not just a room in a house. like a room in a home. Things like a communal dinner every now and then, a night excursion to the pub, chats over cups of tea and the sharing of lame jokes. That kind of thing is pretty peach. I'm social but also like one's own space. Adaptable may be the word. Like,,, I'm happy to read in my room, but my door will be open for someone to come and chill on the edge of the bed. I currently studying journalism and indigenous studies at uni, work in disability and volunteer for Murriwatch. Don't really know how to describe my personality other than that great catch-all "laid back." Im a bit irreverent, a lil lame, but not that bad. I may add to this..
I am friendly, clean, polite, humorous & have lived on my own for the last 4 years - so I'm happy to do my own thing but I'm also quite social. I'm into fitness, food & exploring places as I've just moved back here from interstate.
I am neat and tidy, easy-going; and have all my own furniture. I work as a high school teacher and love organising camping/climbing trips on weekends.
Hi, I'm a 21-year-old guy from Sweden who's looking for somewhere to stay in Brisbane. I will be studying a bachelor’s in graphic design at SAE Institute (located in West End). I'm easy to live with mainly because I'm a low maintenance kind of guy. I don't need much, material things nor social settings. At the same time, I can be a great friend who wants to help others and be a fun flatmate to live with! In my spare time, I like to watch series, play piano and video games (although I probably won’t be playing much games nor piano when I move to Australia). My biggest passion in life right now is volleyball, I love the sport! I mainly play indoors but also a lot of beach volleyball! If I was good enough, playing volleyball would definitely be my future career! But right now, I'm interested in a career in design and will be moving across the world to achieve that future. Any help would be appreciated! :D Kind regards, Konrad Arns
Hi I'm Tayen, I'm a 27 year old student who just returned from 6 months exchange in Denmark. I have a strong hospitality and retail background so I'm great with people. I'm pretty easy going, creative, clean, happy and I like to socialize and cook. I like to have friends or family over for dinners or a few casual bevvies every now and again. I like trying new things and I like to be able to have a chat or hang out with my housemates on occasion but I don't want to be living in each others pockets. I'm looking for a relaxed household where everyone is respectful of each other but also likes to have fun and a bit of a laugh. I like hanging out on the internet, watching tv shows and movies, playing the occassional gaming console, going out every now and again, arts and crafts, festivals and lots of other things. I'm looking for easy going people who are clean and friendly and don't mind socializing on occasion. I'm also looking for people who don't mind if I have friends and family come and stay on occasion and people who like to have bbqs and the occasional drink. Relaxed, friendly people who are reliable with bills and like to have a laugh.
I’m an outgoing student who works and studies hard throughout the week and enjoys a drink or two on weekends! I am tidy and respectful and pull my weight when it comes to household duties. Im originally from NZ (sorry if that’s a deal breaker) but have been here for almost 10 years now so pretty much an Aussie?? Ideally looking for housemates who are down for a chat or drink every now and then and who I could consider a friend! Not looking to move until November but am flexible(ish) with that.
Hi ☺️ I’m 23 and I’m from Barcelona, Spain. I’m in Brisbane to study and improve my English during 6 months. I have a degree in Comunication and I used to work as a Community Manager in a software company in Barcelona. I’m a social, clean and dynamic girl who loves to know people and share moments with them.
i live on the sunshine coast and work in brisbane. i intend to spend 4-5 nights in brisbane and the rest up the coast, to save commuting daily (usually up coast on sunday & monday) i come with limited furniture, and don't require much in that regard. i work in the valley and cbd as a group bars manager so i need to leave my car at home as I'm constantly visiting multiple venues daily. generally a quiet, private, respectful person. long hours at work (but not super late). I'm also super clean - leaning toward ocd levels but not a lunatic. Looking for a place for 6 months until my mates lease runs out and i can move in with him. if you need someone sensible, who's not really around much, and can provide some relief rent wise - I'm your guy. i basically just need a place to sleep to save me driving 3 hours a day, and paying a fortune on petrol and parking.
We keep our environment clean no matter what. I'm a musician and my partner is a writer so we are always busy and doing our own thing. P.S. I play guitar and sing so if practising will be an issue, please let me know :)
Hello!! I am 24 and studying Master of Business at UQ St. Lucia. I love to make new friends and explore new places. I am looking for a new place - sharing room in share house, ready to move in from 10th of September this year. My budget is maximum 140/week with all bills included. I am a neat and clean person and wants to live in a clean house with considerate house mates. I like to cook and socialize but respect and appreciate privacy as well. I have Uni three days a week and dance class on Sundays. I am not working as of now but I will start looking for a part-time soon. I am not very comfortable with fights and politics. I have a cat called Luna.
Hello. I'm a 21 year old male moving from Gympie to Brisbane. I'm friendly, relaxed, easy-going, neat and tidy. I enjoy going to the gym, socialising, and chilling on my computer in my spare time. I currently work and will be transferring to Brisbane, with future plans of getting into hospitality. Keen for a chat or an occasional drink but will respect others space when needed. Looking for a place to call home! Will be moving only with a king single and a 150cm desk so would prefer a room that could fit these, while still having some space to breathe. A built in wardrobe is also preferred! I can move between the 9th to the 20th of September and can stay longer / shorter than 6 months but would prefer no less than 4 months.
Hey guys! I'm a 28yo Canadian here on a working holiday visa. I'm looking for a 3 month rental from Aug - Nov (with the possibility of extending to 6 months). I'm a vego, environmentally friendly, social and outgoing. I love a good chat, and would prefer flatmates that are outgoing and friendly as well. That said, I do value my space, and will respect yours as well. I love animals but am unfortunately allergic to cats, so as much as I'd love to, I can't live with one! Dogs are more than appreciated though! No roomshares and no long-term lease agreements, please. Message if it seems like a good match! Cheers! Kate
I'm mature, respectable and quiet international student, easy going, clean tidy, non smoker and love sports (play tennis and soccer). I'm very curious (in a good way, of course): I like to know new cultures, new places, try new foods and drinks. I hope to find a peaceful place to live with respectable person.
