I’m a Civil Engineer from Scotland and I moved out to Australia at the beginning of 2025 for a fly in fly out job. Currently I’m working for a company called Monadelphous in Karratha at Rio Tinto’s port of operations. So far I have been working a 2&1 swing and travelling around Aus and Asia on my week off, I’m now looking to get myself a more permanent bed and settle down a little. There’s every chance I will still go off on holiday on my week off, in which case I could be away for 5 weeks - hopefully I can find a property that will suit my lifestyle!
