Very clean and love a chat. Qualified gardener and landscaper. Interested in science and microbiology, studying science. Up for an intellectual chat or a totally ridiculous conversation!! Love doing dishes and cooking. Guitar player, singer and haphazardly trying to teach myself piano. Would love a vegie patch. Love planting and seeing things grow.

Hey guys, i'm currently studying IT full time at Tafe whilst working part time on the side. I love meeting new people, cooking, and having a drink! I am also very clean, tidy and mindful of other housemates. I'm always keen to watch a film, play boardgames, go out for drinks/dinner or whatever 😀
About me, as described by my best mate and former housemate; Hey, I’m Sophie. I’m fun loving, sociable and a little bit weird, in the best way. It might take a few days to get my jokes, but once you do I’ll have you in stitches. I’m really easy going, but not afraid to speak up when something is bothering me - passive aggressiveness ain’t my style. I’m looking for a roomie or two to share a house with. Someone that is keen to have a chat at the end of the day and not just live around each other I’ve just finished a 2 year course with full time work, so I’m enjoying getting back into my old social ways of hanging out and having fun instead of being in study mode all the time. Me in a nutshell: Like: * Bands * Board games * Banter Love: * My darling cat Mr.Norris who’ll be coming along with me. * A cheeky beer on the weekends, possibly followed by a BC session, who knows * Family and Frunds Loath: * Dickheads * Liars Bonus housemate- Mr Norris, a 9 yo, super cute, friendly tabby cat. He enjoys pats and ear scratches. He spends most of his time outside but comes in at night. He is fully house trained. If you think we are a good fit, flick us a message and we could grab a beer and chat living arrangements.
I'm a fairly social person who respects privacy. I'm well travelled having lived overseas for 6 years. I enjoy reading (mainly science stuff) and a good netflix binge, I play guitar too but rarely in public. I like a drink, craft beer, single malt whisky and I'm quite partial to wine too (I like nearly all good booze). I like sport, particularly Football (round ball variety), hitting the gym and I love getting in to the mountains especially for some snowboarding. I have an eclectic taste in music; alt rock, country, folk, jazz, electronic and metal eg in no particular order Soundgarden, Queens of the Stone Age, The Mars Volta, Muse, Faithless, Major Lazer, Parkway Drive, Tool, Foals, Blackalicious, Ryan Adams, PJ Harvey, Neil Cowley Trio, Moon Hooch, First Aid Kit, Angus & Julia Stone and so on. I have also developed an almost unhealthy podcast addiction. Recently completed an Honours degree in Zoology and Animal Science from Deakin, so if you have pets I am more than willing to help out. I am currently working hospitality in Geelong and I am about to start a Master of Teaching (Secondary) at Melbourne Uni.
I'm a 25-year-old Vietnamese male, a student at Deakin University Waterfront Campus. I'm quite tidy and generally organized. I am not too loud and not a smoker. I'm friendly, easy going and I love making new friends. Especially, I love dogs so wouldn't be a problem if you have one :D I would prefer to live with anyone who isn't too messy and comfortable and fun to live with.
Hi, I am moving to Geelong in the next 2 weeks. I am transferring from my local Bunnings to the Leopold store. I am 26 years old, very friendly, mature and like to keep active. I have a dog named Charlie, he is a cavoodle, very well trained and pretty much goes anywhere that I do. I am looking to share a home with 1 or 2 other people in Geelong, preferably within a short drive to work. Ideally it would be nice to have a spare room/study in the house so that our family or friends could stay. I am happy to pay up to $180 a week. Obviously the house needs to be pet friendly. I like to keep my house organised and fairly clean and tidy. I do not smoke and would ideally like to live with non smokers too. If you are interested please let me know. Louise :)
Hi There! I’m looking to share a nice, central place, with switched-on, like-minded grown up/s, where nice chats and occasional shared meals can add to the enjoyment of living in this great city. I work as CEO for a tech industry association, as well as having my own business, and a charity. I rent a work space in North Geelong, and attend quite a few networking events during the week, so not at home much. (But occasionally I do like to work from home.) When at home, I like chilling out by cooking, relaxing with Netflix, working, or catching up with friends for low key dinners or drinks. I have a wide social group, but when at home, I’m usually looking to escape people and veg out with flatmates or on my own. I’m also happily single, no kids, never been married, and not fussed about dating, so overnights guests shouldn't be an issue! I’m clean, organised and like to keep shared areas tidy. I love cats, so would see any cats as a bonus! I eat meat, but am completely cool with vegans and vegetarians. I get on well with all ages... consideration and shared interests and values are more important to me. I’m reasonably new to Geelong. I moved here in 2015, not knowing a soul, after 15 years in the UK. It took me a while to find my feet, but things are now falling into place. I’m not ready to buy a place, or take a lease, until I know which area I really want to be in. That said, I’m much happier living with one or two others, rather than alone. Sharing isn’t about saving money to me. I just prefer it. I'm dog-sitting for friends in East Geelong until 15/1/18, so ideally looking for somewhere that week. However, I have back up accommodation til 9/2 if needed for the right place. If you think I'd be a good addition to your home, please get in touch. Thanks.
I'm a 23-year-old Korean female, fluent English speaker and a Nursing student at Deakin University Waterfront Campus. I'm quite tidy and generally organized. I am not too loud and not a smoker. I'm very friendly and I love making new friends. I would prefer to live with females who aren't too messy, aren't smokers and are comfortable and fun to live with. - I'm looking for a place close to the city and close to the Waterfront campus - Would very much prefer if it were furnished with at least a bed and essential appliances - I don't have a car so parking isn't too important - I'm willing to pay 140-180 AUD maximum, all bills included - I don't mind being with animals as long as they don't bite or are not afraid of strangers - I'm looking for something temporary preferably 3-4 months but if the living arrangement is good, I would like to stay for a year. - I would be looking for places between February 14- 25th but if I am set on the place then I can move in right away.
Hello! I'm a Perth local making the move over to Geelong to study full time at Deakin. Looking forward to the surf and the footy on the side. I'm very respectful of personal space, but hoping to make some new friends out of my future house mates too. I'll be working hard during the week, but don't mind a casual beer and a night out on the weekends. Very clean and tidy; cooking enthusiast; sport, beach, film and music lover. Looking for a warm, friendly household to take me in :)
This spacious, modern townhouse is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the South Geelong Train Station, Kardinia Park precinct and the Geelong CBD. The house is very spacious. It features two large living areas, more than ample kitchen space with a walk in pantry, one toilet and a decent sized laundry room downstairs. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, one with an ensuite, the main bathroom and an additional separate toilet. It also boasts two shared off-street parking space.
Yo, I'm an engineer working full time in Geelong city, been travelling from Melb every day for the last year. Been in various sharehouses over the last 5 years, so I've got the manners/cleaning/respect/rules down pat. I'll be spending some time back in Melb on random nights/weekends, but otherwise I don't know anyone in Geelong, so it'd be cool to have housemates who are sometimes around after hours to hang out with. In my own time I'll go to the gym, read, Netflix, you know the drill, but I'm up for joining in on pretty much anything. Also a musician (within reasonable hours), so plenty of good tunes throwing around.
This house is located in excellent position 5 minutes walking distance to the South Geelong train station, the Belmont shopping centre and the BVAC free Deakin bus stop. The house has reasonably large bedrooms and a very large kitchen and living area. All the housemates are in there early to mid twenty and are looking for the new house mate to be within this bracket. Any new housemate will need some form of employment.
Hayley and I are two young females who are extremely outgoing and enjoy a good time but also to chill out and have a few wines. We are both currently studying full time and also work part time. Currently looking at properties with 3 bedrooms and would love someone new to live with! Send me a message if you've got 2 bedrooms available or are keen on teaming up.
I'll tell you what we won't do: Steal your food, do coke in the bathroom, pee on the floor, wear your clothes, invite unsavory characters over, play loud music at night or have domestics. We'll be spending most weekends away on camping/mountain biking/climbing/hiking/ski touring trips but during the week we'll be studying and enjoying a beer at the end of the day. We don't have pets, but we'd be stoked if you did.
