I'm a 23 yo female Geelong local and looking for somewhere come the end Jan/start Feb 2018 as my lease will be up then. I work in hospitality roughly 4-5 days a week and a couple of nights a week. I am fun, friendly and easy to get along with. Pet lover. Non-smoker (but I don't discriminate against those who do). I clean up after myself and would ask the same from my housemates. I have been told I am easy to live with by a roommate before who worked from home so I understand and respect that at times people need their space and quiet time. I have my own furniture, so I am not looking for a furnished room. I am also happy to meet up and discuss team ups. Really just want to move in with some cool people and make lifelong friends :)
Hi, I'm Tom. I work part-time at Coles 2 days a week and work from home as a game designer the other 3-5 days. I am very clean and friendly, I enjoy a chat and a casual beer. I'm extremely active, healthy and a non-smoker. I’m preferably looking for people who are social and would like to hit up the movies, beach, pub or whatever.
I like pets. Cats more than dogs. I have very mild Autism so if you are a good communicator, we should be fine. Please don't push either Neurodiversity nor Anti Vax crap on me. I have no alcohol nor substance abuse issues. I'm a non-smoker. I don't play loud music nor randomly make loud noises. I can drink socially just fine. I'm on the Disability Support Pension and have brilliant financial self discipline. You won't have any trouble getting me to cough up for bills. I amuse myself with anal retentive internet research and fact checking. Also gaming and using mods. Recreationally I walk, am active in the geek meatspace scene. I'm really into table top RPGs and movies with reasonable plots rather than big budgets. My politics is left of center and I'm effectively a social democrat. I don't shy away from deep conversations if thats on offer. I'm privately messy (mental chaos issues), but agreeable and cooperative with being clean and tidy in common areas.
I’m a student and work part time so I’m always busy. I am clean and tidy, and value a clean house. I usually keep to myself but I’m always keen for a chat. I have rented in Geelong for the last three years and are looking for a new place with fewer people.
Currently studying medicine at Deakin University in Waurn Ponds. Love cooking, reading, gardening and bike riding when I'm not studying. Looking for a place to move into for 12 months. My current lease ends at the end of Jan, so hoping to find a place to move into mid/end Jan.
Hey guys, my lease is about to finish up so I'm trying to suss out a new place to move into! I'm currently studying IT full time at Tafe whilst working part time on the side. I love meeting new people, cooking, and having a drink! I am also very clean, tidy and mindful of other housemates. I'm always keen to watch a film, play boardgames, go out for drinks/dinner or whatever 😀
Hey! I'm Kat. I'm going to be study medicine at deakin waurn ponds in 2018. I used to go to highschool in Geelong, moved to Melbourne for my undergrad, did a couple years of backpacking, travelling and working in europe, and now I'm back. A bit about me: Ambivert Social gamer/boardgamer (e.g. DOTA 2, Overwatch; Mansions of madness, Bang) Animal lover Social drinker and occasional partier with a fine appreciation for carlton draft Group fitness gym enthusiast I do aerial hoop and pole dancing for fun, definitely not any good I play violin and piano in orchestras also for fun, probably my more skilled hobby My favorite show of all time is 'How I met your mother', so expect some puns non smoker, carnivore, Instagram noob but trying to learn I'm looking to share with people who are easy going, somewhat or very tidy, is a good mix of doing their own thing and wanting to socialize, is cool with friends coming over sometimes for some study seshes or beer, my boyfriend will visit from Melbourne and stay some weekends, respectful, if a smoker will always smoke outside. I am not looking for a party house (but not looking for a quiet antisocial house either). Hit me up if you think we're on the same page!
Hi all, I'm Josh, I'm 22, and I'm looking for a room under $140/week within 20mins of the CBD of Geelong in Early December. Not looking for a party house or smokers. I'm pretty easy going and tend to get along with everyone. About me... I have recently been employed by the City of Greater Geelong as a Lifeguard and Swim Teacher at Leisurelink, Kardinia, Splashdown and hopefully more to come! I have been a Lifeguard and Swim Teacher in Colac for the past 2 years but want to move to Geelong in early December as in addition to work, I'm also studying Cert IV Fitness @ VFA waterfront campus. ... And also to get out of Colac 😂 I also want to move up to Geelong to join Geelong Swimming Club and try to make Nationals! I've been with Colac club since 2009, but I'm training with 13 year olds at the moment and I want someone to push me haha. I'm not a smoker or a heavy party goer. But like a drink on the odd social occasion :P I love music and play a bit of guitar (just an acoustic, I don't use an amp don't worry haha). And I do my own dishes! However a 5am alarm would be a constant lol. If you have any questions, just holler :)
I'm 25 and a non-smoker. I don't have any pets of my own, but I love animals. So I'd be more than happy moving into a house with pets. I'm not a neat freak, but I do clean up after myself, and am looking for roommates who will do the same. I work in hospitality, so my hours fluctuate. I love travelling and photography. I like to keep myself busy, but I will be down for a beer and a chat, or maybe some movie nights together. ** NOT interested in rooms in Grovedale, Marshall, etc. Only areas listed above **
I'm a considerate tidy and quiet housemate happy to have a chat and socialise when needed. I'm somewhat of a geek and when asked about tv shows movies or other things that interest me I can go on about it! I love to cook and share my cooking with people who like a variety of food!! I love getting to know people and I promise if you ever need someone to go shopping with I will be more than happy to come with and give ideas on fashion movies or video games! I have a playstation 4 as well so have lots of games to bring in if you enjoy gaming!
Important stuff first: >> Looking for a place with a maximum of 4-5 tenants/bedrooms. >> I need a covered parking spot for my car due to safety reasons. >> I really need some place to live in the locations I've listed. Other than that, no deal. >> I don't do meals for everyone in the house. I'm happy to be included in the cleaning roster (if there is one) but definitely not meal prep roster. Please sort your own meals, thanks. > International Deakin uni student, final year undergrad in architecture/constr. management (due to finish end of 2018) > I'm employed - a professional designer in the construction industry (part-time when uni is in session, full time during breaks) > I love peace and quiet. The occasional party doesn't bother me provided I've been given an early notice. A chat here and there doesn't hurt as well. > Strangers are okay, provided they aren't freeloaders. > I'm a busy person so I'm rarely home (less fuss, less drama). > Pays rent on time (Always). > Clean and tidy person. Happy to split up house chores. I have terrible skin allergies when the place gets too dusty. > Non-smoker. Light drinker. > Friendly, watches footy once in a while, GoT too. > Loves pets, especially big doggos! > Avid gamer. I'm a PC person but I do enjoy a round or two of multiplayer games on consoles. > I'm a bit of a tech geek. I can fix/assemble your computers (Windows only) for small favours (maccas run mostly :P) > Respectful of other people's privacy, personal views and space. > If you play sports, I'm happy to join you in your games. I need the exercise anyway. XD In short: I'm big on cleanliness, independence, kindness and respect.
I am 26 year old male and have always lived in Geelong. I enjoy film and reading, staying healthy and I am a non smoker. Social and friendly, I am looking for a comfortable space to live over the Summer. I will be at Uni in Melbourne in 2018 & need access to train line. Looking forward to meeting you. Cheers Kieran
House trained and easy going I am busy with work and need a clean and friendly furnished room reasonably close to Geelong CBD. Will be away every second weekend with family commitments. Happy by myself or socialise with broad interests and conversation.
Clean, social but like privacy, working regular hours. Love to work-out/walking. Love love animals, I have a beautiful pup who is 4 y/o Very friendly and well trained. Thankyou :)
This large, beautiful Edwardian period home has been subdivided into units. It is located perfectly: - less than 5 minute walk from South Geelong train station - 15-20 minute walk from the Geelong CBD - less than a minute away from buses, an independent cinema, service station/cafe and Geelong's best bottle shop next door. Positioned on a lovely street nearby Kardinia Park. The room is medium/large in size, is well lit and has a BIR. Rent is $160 p.w. and bond is 4 weeks rent. There are 2 small steps inside the house. All furnished, except for the room. I have some spare pieces of furniture if you need them. There is another spare, smaller bedroom - we could either get another housemate, use it as a guest room or have another lounge-room. (Cheaper rent or having your parents stay over? The choice is yours!) There's a massive garage/shed for storage, and plenty of space for a car or three in the driveway (if you drive three cars).
Large sized bedroom! No built in robes, but I have a queen sized bed and plenty of room to fit my own dresser, drawers and clothes rail. Your room has a fireplace which is cute and gives the room a cozy feel. 😊 Tucked away down a little laneway means it's usually pretty quiet. Not many cars drive down here. The weatherboard house is named "Quartz Cottage" and has a nice undercover porch out the front. The back has an undercover area too so you could still have a smoke or drink when it's raining. There is a car port with a roller door you could use if you need off street parking. The bathroom features a shower over a free standing bath. The water pressure is great and the hot water doesn't go cold either! The washing machine and toilet are both in the bathroom, but there is also a spare toilet outside which is handy. There is a spare room which you could potentially use as a study/sun room. Could also possibly be rented out as a single room to bring the rent down if you like! 😊 The rest of the house is furnished, so you only need stuff for your bedroom. If you've got some other furniture we might be able to fit it in. There is a good heater for winter and an air con for summer. Jackson has a Netflix account that you can use in the lounge room. Bills are split equally but are usually pretty cheap (our water bill is actually in credit at the moment!). Unlimited internet is available too. Cost is $60 / month in total and would be split between house mates. There is a rabbit called Lola who hops around the backyard/laneway. She generally just does her own thing. Old housemate had a cat too, so pets are definitely negotiable! 😄
Looking for a vegetarian housemate, 25-44, that doesn't ever drink alcohol or use drugs and gets home before 11:30pm most nights. Have to say that first to avoid wasting peoples time. If you eat meat, drink or smoke then please do not contact me. We want someone who will fit in here. I might sound very boring but believe me I'm not, I used to party quite a lot but now am taking a more spiritual path. I still grow Peyote. :) Park over the road with sports ovals. Quiet street. 5 minute bike ride to beach. The house is rustic yet clean. Outside needs paint, most of the inside has new paint. Carpets were recently steam cleaned. If you like gardening there is plenty of space to grow whatever you like. There is a veggie patch that you can help yourself to. Washing machine and dishwasher. Gas heater in lounge room. Outdoor undercover storage space. Ceiling fan in room. Chilled out housemates. Relaxed environment. Good quality water filter. Enjoyable garden. The lounge is a t.v. free space, there is space if needed for another couch. The room is 3m x 3.6m. It is a month by month lease but so long as we get along there shouldn't be a reason you cant stay for 12 months or more. If you are from a warm climate and would be using a heater while you sleep during Winter or if you use an air conditioner then that is at extra cost, otherwise all bills are included.
Im mature and polite, neat and tidy (but not OCD like), prefer females only and working housemates that are older. I occasionally attend a spiritualist church, don't party much, occasionally smoke (a few a day) and have a few wines, love to cook, have a shitzu and staffy (2 rescue dogs who i just can't part with).
I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs, and don't plan to take up doing any of those either. I clean up after myself, and mostly keep to myself in general though am quite happy to have a chat. I mostly spend a lot of time at my computer for fun (and keep things fairly quiet as I only use headsets). I'm originally from South Australia and moved to Geelong at the end of March in 2016 so although I know my way around Geelong fairly well now am hopeless with regards to most of Victoria and or when people give me directions by names of streets/refer to suburbs.
Moving out of the rents house finally. Recently graduated as a nurse and midwife and will be working at Geelong Hospital. I currently work at the Geelong Hospital with people with cognitive and intellectual impairments. Laid back and easy going. Pretty cool chick.
Hey guys, I'm from Sydney. Moving down to Geelong in January to study medicine at Deakin Uni. Looking for either a room or (preferably) some awesome people to start a new share house with. Housemates who are independent but also like to share dinner occasionally or tv/bad movie would be ideal. Definitely prefer a home, not just somewhere to sleep. I enjoy anatomy, terrible movies, cooking (I work part time as a chef), spending time with my cat and simpsons memes.
Hey! I'm 27 and I work at Geelong Hospital. I am very easy going and respectful and would love to live with someone who I can hang out with but doesn't mind space too. I have 2 very friendly cats...they are more like dogs but are always inside (they can't really cat) so someone who is good with cats and won't let them escape is a must! They usually get along with dogs if the dog is ok with them. Look forward to hearing from you!
I am workong part time for a building service and part time at the good guys. I love to cook, keep clean and play alot of sports. Looking to move out of my current house early to mid November. I have never missed a payment of my rent and never will. I am lookong to move in with 1 or 2 others. Must enjoy a joke here and there. Also enjoy a social drink. Please feel free to contact me :)
Working full-time, looking for a new place mid December - early January. Im friendly and easy going, I am also neat and tidy. Would prefer people around the same age as myself.

We have one room for rent in a cute older style three bedroom house in the heart of Geelong. Within 10-15 minutes walk of South Geelong train station, the foreshore, supermarkets, a great corner store cafe, airport bus, city centre, barwon river, eastern park, hospital etc. Sharing with two girls. Renovated kitchen with extra large gas stove and oven, dishwasher, storage, double sink, appliances and bench space. Outside laundry room and hills hoist clothesline in private low maintenance backyard. We hope to find a friendly, openminded and reliable housemate who will enjoy living in a simple relaxed environment that is tidy but not always perfectly clean. Open communication, consideration of others and respect for the house and contents is a must. The bedroom is unfurnished and there is some common area storage space. The rest of the house is fully furnished but is kept fairly minimal and clutter free. We really hope to find a likeminded housemate who will enjoy living this way too. Prefer ages around 25-40. The house gets a little cool in winter so if you're somebody who loves it really really warm and toasty this may not be the place for you ;) Strictly no pets, smokers or party people. Parking on the street. Rent includes limited internet, electricity, gas and water. Housemate will need to join the lease (at own cost - $55) once approved by landlord so rental history/references will be very helpful.
That's a very cute house with big windows and a large living room, but the most important is the ducted heating !!! There is a little backyard/garden with a protected area that is very nice for barbies. It's very well located ! Very quite street, super close to the train station (about 5 min walking), the best bar of Geelong (Little creatures) and the river for bike ridings or some runs !
The room locates in East Geelong, but is near to city, only 1.2 km and to Deakin Uni Waterfront campus, only 2 km. You could walk, bicyle, drive or take a bus to the city, Deakin Uni and Geelong Train Station within half an hour. There are two bus stops, only 10 and 20 meters far from the unit. Normally, the waiting time is 15 minutes. ( Address is 424 Ryrie St, East Geelong, easy to google the place.) In front of the unit, it is Eastern Park which is perfect to walk, jogging and have a relax. Across the park (5 min walk), you will see the beautiful sea. Just enjoy it. The sunset is attractive as well. There is a circle, open swimming pool for the public. The food&vegetables market is only one street away in the south, including Post, Coles, cafe and other dining places. The room is available now. You could sign the contrcat with the property agent and pay the rent to them monthly. The weekly rent is $175, the monthly rent is $758. (It does not include the water, electricity, gas and internet fee.) The unit is newly furnished on March, 2017. And I only lived here for 5 months. The unit is clean, cozy with large space. Because of my work, I have to move to Melbourne city A.S.A.P.. The landlord is nice and warm-hearted, if you need any help, just contact her in future. The unit has one kitchen, one big living room (attached the picture below, no one lives), two bedrooms (attached one photo below), one bathroom, one laundry and one shower room. It also has a front yard, a back yard and a car park (door with lock). The yard is beautiful with flowers and one bench (attached the picture as well). Each window has a screen with meshes, girls, do not worry about bugs or other insects. IMPORTANTLY, the unit has registered to Barwon Security, it is 100% safe to live here, plus neighborhoods are kind. Now, the sharing furniture includes one fridge, dining table, dish washing machine, washing machine and microwave oven. The only you need to prepare is to transport one bed and I could provide the bed as well. Welcome! Overall, the unit is absolutely to the person who works or studies in Geelong currently or in future. Please feel free to contact me, if you like to see more pictures of the unit or have an inspection. I will arrange one. Thanks for reading my ad. If you like the place, please contact me A.S.A.P.. Do not miss the best one. Thank you very much.

I'm an 18 year old, who is currently undertaking part-time work and seeking a share house within the Geelong area. I'm easy-going but also a massive neat freak! I'm easy to live with and enjoy meeting and socializing with new people. As this is my first time moving out of home, I am eager to look for a flatmate who is also easy-going, friendly and respectful too make the transition out of home a little easier! I'm hoping to secure more part-time work soon, and eventually start studying my Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Hey i'm Ben, I'm 21. Just finished my second year of a Bachelor of International Studies/Commerce. I'm also working 4-5 days a week over the summer so preferably looking for somewhere to live for the next 12 months or so but am flexible with that. Originally from Ballarat and go home quite frequently. I'm very clean, pretty easy going and reasonably quiet. Enjoy kicking back and watching a movie or two, also don't mind having pets around.
