Thoughtful, neat and tidy, but not over-zealous. I do like a well presented home though. Social drinker on some weekends. Like to game (online) with friends now and then. Happy for a chat about all things from politics to TV shows, and pretty much everything in between. I try to keep open minded. I cook reasonably healthy and always happy to share, but I've been known to raid the pantry now and then for a late night snack... Hey, at least I'm honest. I'll replace whatever I consume. :) P.S. I love animals, especially dogs, but don't have any of my own right now. So I'm happy to share with pet owners, in case that's important to you (it would be to me if I owned a pet).
****UPDATE*** WE HAVE FOUND 3 PROPERTIES WE ARE APPLYING FOR. PLEASE LET US KNOW ASAP IF YOU CARE TO JOIN US. Two houses are in Belmont, the other in Bell Post Hill very close to the Ring Road. A 19 year old female is already joining me, up to 2 more housemates are still require to help offset the cost. If you are keen to inspect properties let me know asap as they're coming up very soon. Housemates will be expected to go the a lease as well*** I'm 56 and currently housesharing with various aged tenants. The owners are moving in as I write, to renovate and sell up. We all need to find new digs, hopefully with some storage space. Im a sociable bubbly person but also love my own time in my room to work and chill but love to have a wine or two over or after dinner or just because! Im a hairdresser/makeup artist and beauty therapist by trade and specialise in weddings and theatre work. Im winding back a lot with that work as I'm looking for a change. Im currently fitting out a trailer to become a mobile coffee business. The trailer will need to be parked off street for security and to heat the coffee machine in the mornings before I head out EARLY. I love to go see live musicians/bands and have a good old dance to clear the stress of the week. I have an Etsy online store and starting in spring, will be selling jewellery with a friend. I didnt become a hairdresser till my 40's. I wanted a complete career change from being a public servant. Much more fun and much harder work. I dont have pets and my children are all grown and independent and dont need to be fed and watered. I have a fair bit of stuff, my hairdressing and beauty stock and coffee making stock. So a garage or shed to store it in would be fab. The only furniture I have is a bed and some chairs. I have equipment that will be going into the trailer as well. I am flexible with start dates. I have excellent rental references and am extremely mindful of others and respectful of their space. I dont like living with messy or loud people. Sometimes loud is good, especially over the dinner table with a few wines! But not looking for a loud party house as I'll be starting early with the coffee biz. Happy to go on a lease and am currently looking at houses to rent and housemates to share with, as well. Cheers :) P.S. A 19 year old woman has now joined me in a search for a house to rent, she works full time and is about to dtart working in Waurn Ponds
We are a super chill, easy going couple looking for a room til the end of April 2019. Allanah is 27 and David is 24 and we both love being active and hitting the gym. We are passionate about travel and are heading back to Canada in 2019. We love meeting new people and being social, but we are also respectful of everyones personal space and privacy.
Im pretty easy to get on with, clean and tidy. Not home a great deal as I work full time. On Saturdays I am usually out all day and Sundays I am home getting ready for the week. My interests are being in nature, gardens and animals. I am not a big TV watcher. I get up early (4am) to meditate and make a little noise at this time, so Im probably not the best person to live with if your a light sleeper or like to sleep in!
I'm working full time in Geelong and study part time online. I'm quiet but like a good chat every now and then and I love to cook for people. I'm a vegetarian but I have no problems living with non vegetarians. I have no pets of my own but I love animals, so I'm happy to share a home with pets.
Hi! I'm Mel, I'm going to be studying my creative writing Honours in 2019 and I'm looking for a quiet, easy-going place where I can knuckle down for my final year of university. I keep to myself most of the time, but I'm good for a chat and a movie night if you ever need one. I spend a lot of time studying, I don't smoke, and I don't drink. Mostly I've been in sharehouses for the past two years with 4+ people and I'm looking to downsize to one or two housemates.
Hi guys, my names Jaimee and I work full time in Geelongs CBD. I am currently living in a share house in Waurn Ponds looking to move into a home where I can have dinner and drinks with my housemates every now and then but also have my alone time when needed. I would prefer to live with people who also work full time as I need a good nights sleep during the week, however on weekends i'm not fussed with noise. I am a clean, friendly and respectful housemate and am looking to move in with like-minded people. I am also a huge lover of furry friends so I am more than happy to live in a house with animals (I don't have pets myself). I am a vegetarian (pretty much vegan) and would love to live with other vegetarians/vegans, however it is not a deal breaker, I would just ask you respect the fact that I am :) I have my own bedroom furniture however I do not have any furniture for the rest of the house. Feel free to message me any questions, I look forward to hearing from you :)

I am advertising a comfortable room in an sweet old house in a great location. It's a relatively quiet spot away from the heart of Geelong but still close to the train station (10 mins walk), shops (short drive) and the buzz of town. The Little Creatures Brewery is only a short stumble home! Deakin University, Waurn Ponds is a 15 minute drive away. The room itself is quite large with an offset fireplace so storage can be placed either side - This room in particular is a timber floored room 4.4m x 3.7m - rug, 1 large window and a gas heater. Optional fit out includes a desk, bed side cabinet and a single bed. Kitchen is large, roomy and fully kitted out - fridge/freezer, toaster, dining table etc. it even has a woodfire stovetop oven! Lounge has a 55" TV with gaming consoles and a leather couch. There is a huge backyard with plenty of room and little plots for those with a green thumb. Unlimited parking out the front of the house. Super fast internet all unlimited so smash Netflix all you want! We look forward to living with you!
Zolani I am a second year Nursing and Psych student. I see myself as a chilled individual who loves to interact with others I also know when to have fun and when not to. Friendly and respectful 23 year old looking for flatmates who enjoy a good time but work hard and would love to make a new friendship. I love animals, reading and baking so you're always guaranteed some sweet treats! I work full-time as an Administration Assistant during the week and a casual Bartender on weekends.
My name is Jacob and i am 18 years old. I currently live in Lara with friends and i am a first year apprentice. Outside of work i like to skate and play video games. I am a chilled out guy and i am always up for a bit of banter.
Work in hospitality so different hours means I'm not always home when others are. Don't mind a drink or 2 but in no way a party animal on the regular. Have 2 gorgeous bunnies who love cuddles, and am a clean and conscientious housemate.
Welcome to this clean and cozy house in a quiet street in East Geelong/ Thomson that you want to call home! It comes with quality modern furnitures, new fridge, washing machine and kitchen cooking facilities. You can move straight in! Close to university, TAFE, schools, shops and hospital it provides all the amenities that you will need for a comfortable stay. Also comes with gas heating and air-conditioning. It has a lock up garage but also outdoor entertaining area. Storage space also available if have furnitures not being used during your stay. 😊
We have one room available, the room is $115 a week including internet (other bills not included in rent). Bills are usually pretty low and are payed quarterly. Our bedroom has an ensuite so you will only have to share a large bathroom with one other person. The house has a dishwasher and central heating as well as air conditioning. We would prefer someone from 18-23 but would definitely consider someone older provided that they are what we’re looking for in a potential housemate. If you have any questions feel free to message me or if you’re interested in moving in please send me some info about yourself e.g name, age, occupation, how long you are looking to move in for, what kind of a housemate you are/what you’re looking for in a housemate or anything else you feel is relevant. P.s the furniture in the house is different to the photos because they’re from the real estate listing.
Hello potential flatmate. I'm Fahad and I'm in my mid 20's. A typical weekday starts at 6:30 am and ends usually around 6 pm. I work full time in the morning and evenings are kept free for gym and other hobbies. I'm looking for a place with a big backyard to be engaged with my RC hobby. My work hours are all over the place including weekends. I'm the complete opposite of 'live in the room'. I'd like to live with a flatmates that enjoy a badass medium rare steak once in a while or we could cook veggies too, if you're vegan. I'm a model aeronautics hobbyist so I build planes and drones in my free time. That does mean seeing tiny flying things around the house. Please note that this ad is for a team up to start a new share accommodation rather than renting a room. So ideally someone working full time and who can go on the lease as well. Looking for a place preferably near CBD. Feel free to buzz me if this you've read through this huge ass description and think we can get along as housemates :). Cheers
I'm easy going, love animals, introverted. Work daily. Quiet. Happy to watch Netflix with you. I have a very sweet dog who sleeps a lot. He is very clean and never barks and is friendly with other animals. I like to go on adventures every now and then, whether it's out to the countryside for the day or to get ice cream at 11pm. I clean up after myself and am happy to put the bins out.
Just moved to Geelong from Warrnambool, currently looking for work and hoping to start immediately as I hate not being employed. Starting uni in Feb at Waurn Ponds Deakin. I’m bubbly, easygoing and easy to be around. I’m a clean person and look after myself, I’m used to living in shared housing so know how to be respectful living around others
Two girls looking for a couple of people to join us in a house! We're flexible on move dates around mid November-mid december. We are both fun, social, tidy people who enjoy each other’s company but also respect privacy. Looking for like minded people. We enjoy going out and having a drink but also enjoy quiet nights at home binging Netflix and cooking together or heading down the beach! We both have years of experience in share housing situations so understand the importance of shared responsibilities and always pay on time! Claire is currently studying psychology at Deakin and working part-time and Hannah works full time in allied health. If we sound like a match for you please swing us a message 🤗 Males, females and couples welcome! Would prefer to live with people in their 20’s.
I’m entering Deakin University Waterfront Campus in 2019. I’m an outgoing person who loves the outdoors but do not mind staying indoors to chill. I do archery and rock climbing in my free time.
Mature male, clean, tidy and respectful of others. I moved to Geelong region to help out with Daughter/Grand daughter. I ended up in Torquay but they decided to stay in Werribee, the travel is too far so now looking in Geelong again. I have just finished Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and am intending to do Masters next year. Hopefully at Deakin but otherwise at RMIT so would like to find a place within about 3k's of station/waterfront. I am a bit of an introvert and can be a bit of a hermit during semester but otherwise comfortably social. Pretty easy to get along with. Predominantly plant based diet but not strictly veggo. I have pretty much everything to set up house. Would like to have a garage for storage/workshop and a large yard for veggie garden. 2 - 3 year tenure would also be great.
Hi, my name is Mikaela! I’m 24, work full time as a retail manager and I have 2 dogs. I’m currently staying in a sharehouse, but looking for somewhere more permanent for my dogs and I to live for 6months+. I have plenty of furniture in a storage unit, so I’m flexible with furnishings. I work mid-afternoons through to around midnight 5 days a week, so I’m often not home at the same time as most other people. I like my quiet time and typically keep to myself, but I’m always down for a movie night with some wine and snacks. I love to sew and read, and I like video games although I’m terrible at most. My dogs predominantly have lived outside for the last couple of years but they grew up as inside-dogs, so they’re completely house trained. Snoopy is a fluffy & chubby 6 year old Border Collie, and Marla is a lazy, cuddly 7 year old Staffy x Kelpie. Both love a walk and play, but they’re just as happy sleeping on your feet. I move out of my current share housing in mid jan, but I’m available to move from late December, and I’m open to teaming up or fitting into your already established home. Hit me up if you have any questions or if you think I might fit into your home!
A friendly, laid-back, tomboy who likes to keep things neat. I like plants. I like baking. I like basketball. I like a lot of other things too. I identify as a comedian.
24 HOUR APPLICATION TURNAROUND NO WAITING. SHARE ROOMS $245.00 PER WEEK After 160 years, The Ie as a place for students to call home. We invite you to experience this rare and splendid monument to Victoria’s past. This Tudor Gothic building was the original site of Geelong Grammar School. The Governor of Victoria, Sir Henry Barkly, laid its foundation stone in 1857 with the Bishop of Melbourne and the Archdeacon of Geelong in attendance. The student boarder population grew rapidly to call 55 Maud Street their home. After the school relocated to a larger site in 1914, the building was subdivided into a factory and a guesthouse called the Dysart Private Hotel. In 1961, it was again converted into the Reformed Theological College then later a private residence. Fast – forward to 2018: 55 Maud Street had fallen into a state of disrepair , however we had a grander vision for the historic site – once again it would serve as a base for students in the heart of Geelong. Today, The Iconic boasts 28 premium dormitories in a peaceful and gorgeous setting. FIRST WEEK FREE ON 6 MONTH LEASE FIRST MONTH FREE ON 12 MONTH LEASE
