I'm a down to earth, funny guy who enjoys a wide array of activities. I love playing volleyball, I go for a run once or twice a week, and sometimes I'll hang a hammock and read for a couple hours. I really look forward to living close to the beach so I can learn to surf! When I'm not out and about in the city, I sometimes keep to my room, quietly reading or watching a show. I do enjoy card and board games, kudos if I can find a house that also enjoys playing board and card games with some drinks. I plan on learning Auslan so if anyone in the household knows Auslan, I would love to learn and practice! I'm looking for a warm and friendly home, with people who respect privacy and who are clean. I wouldn't mind a little get together with drinks for friends from time to time
I am friendly and like to socialise, but I also like my ‘me’ time. I am clean and considerate. I love to bake and will always offer to share. I’m studying journalism and work part time. I have family in Geelong and often visit them on weekends. I’m looking for something close to public transport, not too many rooms and preferably no children. I love animals so pets are more than okay!
Easy to get along with , love animals, honest and trustworthy. like to keep a tidy room/place. I am employed also trying to start up a home business in spray tanning ( hoping to add more services in the future ) Like to have a few drinks every now and then ( Don’t always get too drunk 😝) have 2 cats ( Zara 5 years old & Charlotte 7 months old)
I'm a (young at heart!) 39 year old professional. I recently moved to Geelong (currently staying with the folks!). Prior to that I was living in Melbourne after 8 years living overseas in Edinburgh, Scotland. I have a pretty busy schedule during the week with full time work and gym. I like getting out and about on the weekends and catching up with family and doing outdoor stuff/going to beach etc. I'd really like to find a share in a high quality place with like minded professionals (preferably 30+) who like to have a good conversation at the end of the day and socialise together now and then. Privacy and space is obviously important too!
I'm a 24 yo female Geelong local. I work full time in Melbourne. I am fun, friendly and easy to get along with. I clean up after myself and would ask the same from my housemates. I understand and respect that at times people need their space and quiet time. I have my own bedroom furniture, so I am not looking for a furnished room! I am also allergic to cats but as long as they aren't in my room I'm all good :) Really just want to move in with some cool people and make lifelong friends :)
I am advertising 3 comfortable rooms in an sweet old house in a great location. It's a relatively quiet spot away from the heart of Geelong but still close to the train station (10 mins walk), shops (short drive) and the buzz of town. The Little Creatures Brewery is only a short stumble home! Deakin University is a 15 minute drive in peak hour. The rooms themselves are quite large all with an offset fireplace so storage can be placed either side - Room 1 4.4m x 3.9m - inbuilt gas heater, 1 large window. Room 2 4.4m x 3.9m - large wardrobe, 2 large windows. Room 3 4.4m x 3.7m - large wardrobe, large drawers, 1 large window. Kitchen is large, roomy and fully kitted out - fridge/freezer, toaster, dining table etc. it even has a woodfire stovetop oven! Lounge has a TV, a leather couch and heater w/ A/C. There is a huge backyard with plenty of room and little plots for those with a green thumb. Unlimited parking out the front of the house. Super fast internet all unlimited so smash Netflix all you want! The pictures don't do it justice as I've only recently moved in myself!
Hello my names Renee . Looking for a room to rent with some easy going people , I'm very easy going ,friendly, clean neat & tidy, very respectful towards people needs , I do own a Pet Cat he's very chilled out ,either he's hinding out or sleeping in my room.
Hi! I'm Max, I have recently relocated to Geelong and looking to settle here. I work full time in town in the health care industry from monday to friday which keeps me busy. I've been really enjoying exploring Geelong on the weekends. I'm really easy going, clean and tidy always pay my rent and bills on time and definitely willing to do my fare share of the household chores. I'm mindful of other people's space and also happy to hang out for a wine and chat . BTW - I'm proudly part of the LBGTQ community.
Ben Arthur. :) I'm 26 and a full time accountant. I'm a big cook sorta guy who enjoys some social sport. I would describe myself as the "shenanigans" housemate who always has something new to try or to rope people into. Bad Jokes. Buys a slab for the house. Brings his TV out to the lounge. That guy. I'd be looking for a house with people who have a wealth of renting experience. Just people that are able to manage being in a sharehouse. I'm bringing no pets but i love pets. Deadline wise my lease ends 4th August. I'd love to arrange accommodation sooner than that and get all the stuff moved.
Hey So I’m an easy going clean individual who always pays his bills on time and more than happy to do my fair share of house chores. I come from a trade background so I’m not even against doing the odd fix up around the house. On the social side big fan of heading out and grabbing a drink for a couple of hours after work at the local pub or just go chill at the movies, not overly keen on the night club scene so don't really have to deal with me stumbling in at 2 o'clock. For work I'm Joiner by trade, which if you have no idea what that is that's cool surprisingly not many do. Basically I make really fancy Stairs for a living and love doing it. Hours I work generally 7 – 4, sometimes I find I have to go left or right of those times a little but a rule that don’t change to much. The Kind of house I’m looking for would not have to be the newest house or greatest house in the world, as long as the people who live there are social and easy going. Ideally the house would be located somewhere close to Pakington Street because I do enjoy a good coffee in the morning. Well that's me in a snap shot if you have any other questions please ask I don't mind.
I'm a full time student currently studying my masters degree in Melbourne, so I won't be home much during the week. When I am home, I enjoy a good chat but can keep to myself as well. I'm a clean person and can also cook up a mean stirfry.
Hi guys! I’m looking for a room to rent for myself. I am currently studying veterinary nursing and working casually at Quiksilver in Torquay! I am very tidy and respectful and also quite fun to be around :) I’m not much of a party animal so there will be no worries on that part. I am quite easy going and open minded and not a lot really annoys me, but at the same time I make sure I respect my fellow housemates and make sure I clean up after myself always. A few things I like to is cook, watch movies, enjoy a drink or two, quiet nights in, meeting new people.
I am very friendly, tidy, easy going and respectful. I am interested in people and other cultures. I enjoy travel, music, films, a nice chat, a good laugh, good food and the company of friendly, fun and respectful people. I'm going to study a diploma at Gordon Institute of Tafe, so I'm moving to Geelong in July. My routine is study, work, cook, keep my stuf organized and clean, exercise, go out with friends, have a chat with my flatmates, watch videos in YouTube. I don't smoke and I don't make use of drugs. I love pets.
Friendly and respectful 23 year old looking for flatmates who enjoy a good time but work hard and would love to make a new friendship. I love animals, reading and baking so you're always guaranteed some sweet treats! I work full-time as an Administration Assistant during the week and a casual Bartender on weekends.
I am 24 years old and currently working full time. I try to live an active lifestyle - I work a desk job so I love going to the gym and exploring the city/hiking tracks when I get the chance. I'm pretty easy going, Netflix is my go to for a relaxing weekend. I appreciate company but I also appreciate my own private time. I basically like to workout, cook and chill out with a good tv show.
I am 19 and work full time. I am currently looking for a place with people who are clean and tidy like myself. I am a social person and I get along with anyone.
I volunteer in the disability industry as well as working in there . I'm quite, exceptionally clean , don't mind putting bins out and doing the garden or house work . I go to the movies , love walking and gym . love my own space but enjoy a cuppa and a chat
My friend and I are currently looking for a house to live in the Newcomb/East Geelong area and are in need of a third roommate! We are both females in our 20's who are working full time. We are very respectful of peoples space and are very tidy. We may be working but we love to socialise, have a good laugh and are always up for a drink. Let us know if you are interested in living with us!!!!
HI my name is Tori and i am 20 years of age. Currently working full time doing a Business Admin traineeship as well as studying. I have no pets and am neat and tidy and easy to get along with. Looking for long term accomidation to move into ASAP :)
So my boyfriend Kaleb and I are looking at moving down to geelong at the end of July. We're pretty easy going people, can be social but also like some down time. We're tidy, not very loud and respect others privacy. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
I'm a neat, tidy easy going guy. I've recently moved from Queensland into a fulltime job in Geelong, I do like to get out of the house a lot but also enjoy just hanging out at home as well I'm also looking to study in the nearby future so somewhere reasonably quiet would be great.
I'm looking for a place close to uni to share with some friendly housemates. I'm a full-time Architecture student at Deakin, and work in the city over the weekend. When I'm not working or studying, I'll be relaxing, having a beer with friends and attempting to cook.
I am ex military so very neat and tidy with high hygiene standards. Im a Crossfit Coach so very rarely drink and and love to eat well and stay healthy. I love pets so it would be great to find a house with dogs, cats or any other pets 🙌🏻
HI My Name is Susan, l have a putty cat named Sam who is 7 years old, black & white Domestic Short Hair, I am a quiet easy going person, l was brought up in leopold & then l moved to herne hill when l was 20, l like spending time on the internet, Watching tv.
Hey! I'm Mitch, 31 (pretty sure I'm 25) I'm a chef, Australian, from Sydney originally but have been living and all over the place for the past 10 years, spent a bunch of time cooking in Europe, pretty keen to chill out now for a bit. Im into food and music although I'm alot better at one than the other haha, I'm pretty out going, very social, can party! but it wrecks me to much these days, so I tend to focus my energy on other things like fishing and gardening. I've think I've got a pretty decent sense of humour, I make friends easily, I've been living in share houses since I was 19 sooo I think I've figured it out, I'm clean, organised, I like living in nice houses, pretty keen to get a dog when I move to Geelong, I should probably get a girlfriend as well (would make my mum happy!) Let's have a chat and find something awesome! Oh im allergic to cats, which sucks cause I quite like them If you've already got a great place then let's see if I'd be a good fit for you!
**No inspections until AFTER 10/08 however happy to catch up prior** This new unit has everything you need and is close to central Geelong, including South Geelong train station. Large bedroom with built in robes as well as your own bathroom. House will be fully furnished, can provide a new king bedroom suite if required, just needs a mattress if you're keen on utilising the furnishings. Please ignore the furnishings in the photos, I haven't moved in yet so these are the real estate pictures. Will post more pictures once I’m in and can arrange those interested to see the place after 10/08.
Amazing location. Very large, spacious room (unfurnished), with high ceilings and ornate fireplace. Great, clean, comfortable flat (furnished) with all mods and cons. You'll be sharing with 2 awesome gals both in their early 30's. We work predominantly Mon-Fri and have active lifestyles on the weekends, enjoying the great outdoors and various social outings. It's a friendly house that we consider to be home and hope that you would feel the same. This is NOT a party house! We are quiet and respectful and offer each other plenty of privacy and space as well. There’s ample opportunity for you to have the common spaces of the house all to yourself. We like a tidy and clean home so we have an arrangement that sees the house cleaned frequently and we split the costs there (more time up your sleeve to do what we love and no annoying rosters or uncomfortable confrontations regarding cleanliness). Internet is unlimited and is paid monthly $23.50 each Bills are split 3 ways. We do like a cosy and warm home (ducted heating in all bedrooms and common areas), but the prices are reasonable and you never have to shiver on a winter’s night. Non smokers and no pets. Sorry. You'll be sharing the home with two professionals. One works as a data analyst and is completing her masters in the same area, the other girl studies hospitality management part time and works several hospitality jobs which keep her busy and mostly out and about. Both girls are clean, quiet, respectful and tidy. We are looking for someone to take on the lease, and require a 6 month minuimum stay. However, if you would like to vacate sooner, there's no issue in finding a replacement and swapping over the lease with a month’s notice. The house is ideally located. It’s approx a 10 min walk to both Geelong and South Geelong train stations, bus services, all cafes, restaurants, cinema and shops within central Geelong and approx 15 min walk to Deakin and the waterfront.
Looking for a vegetarian or vegan housemate, 24-50, that doesnt drink alcohol or use drugs (more than three times a year), and gets home before 11:00pm most nights. Have to say this first to avoid wasting peoples time. Obviously this is not a loud party house. But I'm not a boring person to live with as much as it might sound that way to some folks. I've partied enough. :) 1 minute walk to The Gordon TAFE. If you like gardening there is plenty of growing space. And help yourself to the vegies I grow. I also make bread and soap which you can help yourself to. The house was renovated not long ago. Floorboards throughout. Two toilets. Washing machine and dishwasher. Air con and heater in lounge. 3 Stage water filter for drinking and cooking. I have two large sets of drawers in needed. Both rooms are 3m x 3.4m. The room with a good view of the backyard is $165 p/w. The room that only has a view of around the side of the house is $155 p/w. It is a month by month lease, short term ok. Photos are from before I moved in, the lounge is now full of furniture and some of my plant growing gear. There wont be any Foxtel or free to air t.v. in the lounge...because I dislike it. :) There will be a large tv in the lounge for movies. I own the house so there wont be a landlord coming over to inspect the place plus I am motivated to improve the house and garden. I keep the place clean though at the moment it is not quite organized as I just moved here recently.
After 160 years, The Iconic has come full circle as a place for students to call home. We invite you to experience this rare and splendid monument to Victoria’s past. This Tudor Gothic building was the original site of Geelong Grammar School. The Governor of Victoria, Sir Henry Barkly, laid its foundation stone in 1857 with the Bishop of Melbourne and the Archdeacon of Geelong in attendance. The student boarder population grew rapidly to call 55 Maud Street their home. After the school relocated to a larger site in 1914, the building was subdivided into a factory and a guesthouse called the Dysart Private Hotel. In 1961, it was again converted into the Reformed Theological College then later a private residence. Fast – forward to 2018: 55 Maud Street had fallen into a state of disrepair , however we had a grander vision for the historic site – once again it would serve as a base for students in the heart of Geelong. Today, The Iconic boasts 28 premium dormitories in a peaceful and gorgeous setting.
