We invite you to experience this rare and splendid monument to Victoria’s past. This Tudor Gothic building was the original site of Geelong Grammar School. The Governor of Victoria, Sir Henry Barkly, laid its foundation stone in 1857 with the Bishop of Melbourne and the Archdeacon of Geelong in attendance. The student boarder population grew rapidly to call 55 Maud Street their home. After the school relocated to a larger site in 1914, the building was subdivided into a factory and a guesthouse called the Dysart Private Hotel. In 1961, it was again converted into the Reformed Theological College then later a private residence. Fast – forward to 2018: 55 Maud Street had fallen into a state of disrepair , however we had a grander vision for the historic site – once again it would serve as a base for students in the heart of Geelong. Today, The Iconic boasts 28 premium dormitories in a peaceful and gorgeous setting. FIRST WEEK FREE ON 6 MONTH LEASE FIRST MONTH FREE ON 12 MONTH LEASE

I am a Bachelor of Arts Student at Deakin University. I aspire to be a teacher one day and have a passion for creative writing. I am very easy going, clean and enjoy a good laugh. I am very approachable, happy to talk out any issues that may arise. Mostly, I happy to go with the flow though I'm partial to a wine with the girls but just as keen for a beer with the whole crew. Don't do any drugs at all.
Hi! I'm Mel, I'm going to be studying my creative writing Honours in 2019 and I'm looking for a quiet, easy-going place where I can knuckle down for my final year of university. I keep to myself most of the time, but I'm good for a chat and a movie night if you ever need one. I spend a lot of time studying, I don't smoke, and I don't drink. Mostly I've been in sharehouses for the past two years with 4+ people and I'm looking to downsize to one or two housemates.
I’m a motivated and charismatic person who loves a great chat, but knows the limits of privacy! I’m a clean and positive person, and love gaming and music! I work a fairly physical full time job, and am a sucker for anything Star Wars related!
My interests involve going for walks, listening to music, reading/watching movies, aromatherapy and yoga. Searching for full-time work at the moment in the Ballarat area. I prefer to live with people who are like minded and easy going. I'm an empathetic person and good listener...I like cleaning with the music turned up and being in a tidy living space makes me feel great. Still working on my cooking skills but can make a great cup of tea! :)
Hi I'm Jess! I'm mum to 2 gorgeous cats who are any cat lovers dream! They need to move with me so if you can give some lovely cats a home please message me! I have a law degree and am looking for work in the Geelong or Melbourne area. I am also an artist and run my own pet portrait business. I love drawing everyone's precious animals! I love coffee, sunshine and netflix! I am private but don't mind socialising. Not a party person however.
Hi We are Amanda & Jake from London. We are both in our late 20's (Amanda is turning 30 this month) We are in Australia on a WHV and have been living in Sydney for the past 6 months. Jake is a carpenter by trade and Amanda works with children. We are both non-judgey vegetarians. We enjoy socialising and equally having quiet nights in. We both like to keep active in our spare time by going to the gym, swimming, climbing, and are also keen beach goers. We enjoy the arts in particular music, film and the theatre. We both have experience living in a shared house as we have been doing so since arriving in Australia. We are clean and tidy and respectful of peoples space and property. We are happy to live with pets (especially dogs) Feel free to get in touch. Amanda & Jake
Always happy to hang out and have a friendly time with others in the house but can keep to our own space. Clean and neat and conscious of the others living in the house. Love to go out for a drink or some dinner and have a bit of fun.
I bake, hand make Christmas and birthday cards, work out at Anytime Fitness and am a fan of a 9:00 bedtime. I've worked in community services for 6 years, and I'm about to finish Introduction to the NDIS at The Gordon. I'm only looking for female housemates.
Hello There, I am a young professional business owner who works full time in Geelong, and looking to move closer to the city. I don’t have any pets, but do love them so if you are after an animal lover please contact me. I do love to chat and have a wine every now and then, but am also mindful of others space if need be. I hope to hear from you soon. Regards Ben
Heyy Potential HouseMates, I’m on the hunt for a place to call home for 6-12 months. Preferably like minded people around similar age with similar interests. I’m respectful, honest, clean. I don’t go out in town nor am I a big drinker/partner but always keen for a few wines bbq beach and tunes. To live with I’m an easy going, don’t do drama kinda gal that gets along with most people but also likes to have time to herself. I’m 31, recently relocated back to Geelong after living with my ex and his kids in North-East Vic. I should also mention now, I don’t come alone....... I have an 18month old boarder collie x jack Russell, (see profile pic) she is the absolute best..... she is house trained, clean, great with kids, loves a cuddle and may be slightly obsessed when it comes to fetch. I work as a Barista for a Mobile coffee company, so I currently work weekends and 3 days mid week. I go to the Gym most days. I try to spend a lot of my spare time out of the house exploring with Marley, down the river or beach, different parks and reserves and even The occasional camping/road trip. All in all I’m a pretty active person. However, this does not mean I don’t love a day in my pjs watching Netflix eating pizza and chocolate, avoiding the outside world :) Anything else you want to know please just ask :) Alicia x
I'm starting work at Deakin University and looking for a place to live that's convenient for getting to work. Around the house, I enjoy cooking and being social - I'm not a party animal but I'll often listen to music or the radio at home. Away from the house, I like swimming and other sports, going exploring in the great outdoors or going to the beach.
