*After a room for a move-in date from early January onwards* I moved to Melbourne a few months ago from Wellington to start a new career in market analytics. I was a makeup artist for ten years and finished a commerce degree in July, so quite a change, but totally loving life sans study! Spare time things involve: coffee, cafes, meditation, yoga, mindful living & healthy food, Terra Madre visits, markets, second hand shopping, exploring Melb & surrounds, going for drinks & hanging outdoors, being active/running/gym, watching & going to the cricket & tennis in summer, being social & spending time with mates. Looking for friendly, warm vibes in a house & a social place where people are keen to get to know each other & hangout. Also, as cute as dogs are, I'm not so keen on living with one.
Hey, this is Vidhi. I am from Delhi, India. Looking for a room. I am a lovable but bit reserve kind of person and respect other privacy. Future flat mate must be well spoken, polite , well mannered and trust worthy. Thanku

Hi! My name is Maria, I am 29 years old, a nurse, and I moved from Sweden to Australia to study public health at Melbourne University. Always enjoy a good chat, cooking, different sports such as table tennis, tennis and volleyball, the beach, dog walks and photography. On the weekends you will most likely find me catching up with friends over a few drinks or exploring everything Melbourne has to offer. Looking forward to meeting you!

Hi potential roomies, hope to hear from you soon! My name is Lucas and I'm a 30 year old guy currently working for the Bureau of Meteorology near southern cross. I enjoy watching movies and TV shows in my spare time, or reading useless facts on the internet. I also enjoy going to the beach, going on road-trips, and Nandos! I can alternate between being very social and very not, depends on mood. I grew up in QLD though have lived in Melbourne since 2009. I'm getting back into fitness and health after knee surgery in April (2017)... Starting off well so far and looking at trying to find some new hobbies when I can (rock climbing hopefully soon). Would enjoy doing these types of things with you if you're interested. I'm looking for somewhere that will become available any time after now through to 'early-ish' next year (Just after new year's would probably be ideal.) Also, need somewhere close to public transport due to lack of a vehicle. Thanks! Lucas
- 26 years old and female - recently moved to Melbourne for a full time work opportunity. - 9-5 worker and quiet through the week. I am a good humoured person that likes my alone time but am friendly and also like to go out and socialise. Super clean around the house, don’t smoke or take drugs. Do drink, although generally not to excess in the house. Want to feel comfortable to have a few beers at home as and when, but certainly not looking to throw all night parties or anything like that. What I’m looking for (ideally, will consider other options) : - furnished room - bills included if possible - good internet connection - suburbs of main interest are St Kilda, CBD, South Melbourne, Docklands, South Yarra, Carlton, North Melbourne, Brunswick. - below or around $300 but I can stretch for the right thing. - month to month arrangement or no more than a three month lease to start. This is just to be safe, if everyone’s happy I’m open to longer term. - I would like to live with someone 20's/30's who is clean and respectful of space. I am happy for people to stay over (friends, boyfriends/girlfriends/family) as long as it is not so much they should basically be paying rent. I’m not weird about guests of visitors and want a housemate I can trust to make good decisions and who trusts me to do the same. Basically looking for true share environment where I am comfortable to use the space and don't feel like I need to hide in my room (and no one else in said environment feels that way either). Keen to move ASAP. Please get in touch if you think it would be a good match. Please no offers drastically out of area. Thanks so much!
Hi all, my name is Dylan. Recently graduated uni, and working hospitality 4-5 days a week in the city. I've been a part of the sharehouse game for quite some time, throughout uni, and am looking to make the jump from the southeast to the wonderful northern suburbs! I'm a Tasmanian, and go back a few times a year to visit the trees and endearing bogans. I enjoy a few quiet beers, bbqs, gardening, vegging out with a book on a comfy rug or patch of grass, hiking, roadtrips and tacos. I also like to tinker with things and am a real fan of the versatility of milk crates. I have a decent lot of experience with sharehousing, and can be social or quiet as the house mood calls for. Currently looking for a place in the vicinity of 6 months, but I am flexible in this regard. To have a new place arranged around the 11th Dec would be great, but not essential. Hit me up if you think I'd make a good match for your place!
My last share was with a Chinese lady, mid 30's, in Brisbane (she owned the apartment) and she said I was the best tenant she ever had ! Looking for quiet furnished room w/double bed (+ preferably parking if possible) in CBD or nearby suburbs within 3-5km radius. I am a Professional Consultant - Project Manager and work all over Australia (this time in Melbourne :)). I am very fit, non smoker, very clean, very quiet and respect your personal space. I am also flexible and if you like we can share some cooking a couple of nights a week. Will usually be there 4 nights a week as some weekends I'll fly home (Newcastle). Occasionally my fiance will join me but this is infrequent as she's based OS. Verified members can see my FB or LI profiles. ... Thanks Mick

Hey guys! I currently work in the city in construction/property development and commute from Geelong. I'm looking to move to inner city Melbourne in December/January. I also have a car and will require parking, on-street/permit parking is fine. Monday to Friday, I’m all about work and maintaining a routine but on the weekends I like to get out, catch up with friends and family. I’ve done the sharehouse thing for quite a few years now so I understand and appreciate the importance of good house training.

Hi everyone! I am an international student studying at Uni of Melb for master degree started in July. If I don't have class, I usually spend time studying at home. I'm respectful, considerate, open-minded, clean but certainly not a freak. I love cooking Thai food (and happy to share!), so I hope you don't mind the smell. Occasionally, I am keen to catch up with my potential housemate over a glass of wine and binge on Netflix. I am a cat and dog lover, so I'm more than welcome if you have one. *interested to team up and find our lovely place *ideally looking to move in with other one person
Hey everyone :D The name is Sherry and I’m from Northern Ireland. Out on a working visa although I am trying to stay permanently, fingers crossed, but for now I just need somewhere that’s flexible, although I would love to be there for a minimum of 9 months :) I’m a really clean, friendly, and caring person. I do love a good chat and I’ll always have you laughing. I am a law graduate and now work in a bank. I love to cook, and just chill out watching Netflix. I also love to head out and have a drink or dinner. Oh and definitely love lying on the beach most weekends trying to tan in this sun haha. A furnished room with a double bed would be great. Just looking for housemates who are like minded. So if you need a new housemate I am your girl :D I also want to be close to the city for work and socialising :)

Hi! My partner and I are looking for a nice space to move too, we both work in hospitality as a venue manager and head chef, I'm sponsored and he is on a WHV. We are social but respectful, with stressful jobs we want somewhere too relax, cook and enjoy, so not a party house. Felixable on move in date more searching for the perfect place. Let me know if you have any questions and we look forward to hearing from you!
I'm a 29 yo veterinarian and I've just recently moved back to Australia after travelling around the world for 2.5 years. I'm looking for a place to call home! I'm laid back and I am generally considered very clean and tidy. I have one very friendly 7 yo collie X called Deni who is predominantly an outdoor dog (good behaviour guaranteed by a vet!). My long list of hobbies include: photography, painting, sketching, yoga, krav maga, welding, woodworking, cooking and trying to learn Spanish. If you think we'd make amazing housemates or want to teamup, please get in touch!
New to Melbourne and recently started a role south Monday- Friday so looking for a private room for around 4 weeks whilst I find my feet and looking to preferably share the room with my friend patrick to keep costs down initially. Ideally rather live with friends or a solo person rather than a couple, head down vibes in the week- social butterfly at the weekend. 🙋🏼
