I am a 23 year old Male, from Perth moving interstate for work. I'm quiet and bit of a workaholic, I keep to myself and respect my housemates privacy, and don't mind the occasional drink. I am a very tidy person and easy going. I'm looking for comfortable place I can call home until I can find a more permanent spot in Melbourne. I will be in Melbourne from the 16th January onwards.
*please excuse photos with my nieces and parents in them, they do not come with the room!* This property is a HUGE 3 story refurbished warehouse! You will have the entire bottom floor that is shut off completely from the rest of the house, it has high ceilings, big industrial windows, your own bathroom, a loft which is a nice spot for reading, all to yourself! The front door is also on the bottom level, but the room is all closed off so it's very private and quiet! Think of it as your own studio apartment! On the second floor you'll find the huge communal living area complete with the worlds coziest couch, exposed brick walls, concrete floors and the kitchen and dining area (and generally an endless supply of Pepsi Max if that entices you!) On the 3rd floor is Andrew's bedroom which has a pretty cool view of the city!
Hi! My name is Zara and I am a 23 year old female about to begin a Masters degree at The University of Melbourne. I am originally from Queensland and have been living, studying, and working in Melbourne for 4 years. I am very respectful and responsible, but am also very friendly and love getting to know new people. I am looking a home to be sanctuary during the busy year I have coming up, and am looking for some like-minded people to share it with.
Hi! my name is Kyle and i currently work as an accountant in The CBD. I work the usual 9-5 but tend to work late often so usually don't get home until after 6.30. i spend most weekends doing something around the city, mostly food and/or wine related. I am also currently studying with takes up a bit of time but its enjoyable so i cant complain.
I'm a political analyst (don't worry, I'll neither force my views on you nor coax you into many a political debate) who works full-time in the CBD, usually from 8:30am - 5:30pm. I've travelled solo extensively and have had various people come in and out of my home, and therefore understand the importance of giving people their space and being proactive in your cleanliness whilst knowing when to have a bit of fun.
I recently moved to Melbourne from the UK and now work full time as a Sales Executive. I'm a foodie, love to explore the city and go for runs to clear my head. I'd love housemates that enjoy socialising, talking about our days and hanging out, but also value some alone time after a long day at work. I work office hours/weekdays so I'm not looking for a party house, but I'm happy to have a glass of wine on the weekend! Feel free to message me if you have a spare room in Southbank/South Melbourne - I would love to hear from you!
Looking to move into a new house any time from the start of Feb. Just finished my first year of Masters in Teaching at unimelb -one more year to go. I work in Albert park, teaching music, two days a week and I will be at uni in the city most week days throughout the day. I also have regular performances and rehearsals throughout the year that keep me busy some nights. Looking for a quiet household, not big into the party scene but do enjoy a quiet drink on the weekends. I do like a clean and tidy house to relax in and don't mind doing my bit for the house. If you have dogs, thats a bonus!
Hi, I'm Jen from England. I'm an academic manager at an English Language school across from Southern Cross Station. I've been living in a one bed place in Southbank for 18 months, but the owners want to move back in. I can move anytime, but must definitely be out by the 8th of March. I would prefer to stay in Southbank / South Melbourne area. I'm friendly, positive, kind, and keep my place clean and tidy all the time. I generally work 9:00 - 5:00, but a couple of days a week might involve unpaid overtime... I like to run, see my friends the odd night in the week, or just chill in front of Netflix. I really like socializing over cheese and wine or wine and cheese. Not a party animal anymore; I would just like to live with someone who can be a good friend; not just a flatmate.
I'm a working professional who loves to travel and do beach hopping when weather permits. I also cook and bake goodies when I'm craving for one and wouldn't mind sharing the calories to flatmates and friends. I'm very clean, organized, friendly, respectful, a non-smoker, pays the rent and bills ahead of time, and not a party person. I'm looking for a spacious room in a house within 10Km from CBD and has convenient access to public transport, particularly the Metro. ideal move-in date is sometime in Feb but I'm quite flexible and would also consider moving-in on March.
Thais, brazilian, 23yo, graduated in visual arts, now working as graphic designer and studying. I'm a easy going, quiet, clean and tidy person. I'm always working during the week, so I'll be home only at nights & also I don't mind to share time with my flatmates and socialize. In my free time I like to go out with friends but sometimes I rather stay at home chilling. :)

He couldn’t be happier about this decision. Kleyton currently works in a hotel as a room attendant and is starting his own photography business at the moment. Hey, I'm Lily, currently full time student doing a bachelor of film meaning I pretty much spend most of my time either watching shows or studying. When I'm not I'm often reading or drinking gallons of tea. I'm always respecting of housemates and how they like to keep things, so I pretty much slide into however the house is currently running. If you have any questions let me know, would love to hear from you. Looking for a place to move asap, preferably before uni starts back up again on the 5th of Feb. I listed a few suburbs, but most of Melbourne is fine :) Thanks
Hey! I'm Damien, 21, from Malaysia and will be in Melbourne for 6 months for an exchange programme! Currently looking for a private room in or near CBD for the duration of my stay. I would say that I'm pretty chill, and a "go-with-the-flow" kind of person. I'm a videographer and I do that as a freelance job back home, I love taking photos too! Sometimes I like to play the guitar when I feel groovy. I do enjoy occasional concerts in the shower too hahah. I wouldn't mind going out for a drink or two, just to hang out, binge-watch Netflix series and so on. However, when it comes to studying or working, you can be assured that I will be pretty quiet, so don't worry about that. I respect others' privacy as well!
I’m Zsuzsie, I’m half kiwi and half Hungarian and looking to move close to the city. I work and study full time so I’m not in the house much. I’m looking for somewhere/someone fun and easy going but still can keep communal areas tidy.
I decided to move from Canada in November of 2016 and have elected to spend my time in Australia in the city of Melbourne! I'm quite clean but not an absolute neat freak as I don't mind organized clutter in the right places, and I'm remarkably easy going and laid back. I enjoy going out and having the occasional friend over but staying in with a book and some tea is far preferable to me. I'll definitely be a very social house mate as I try to make friends wherever I go. Before I left Canada I was a fitness instructor at a trampoline park, so I'm a bit of a health nut with a pasta problem, and before that I was an antiques consigner, so I love design and really old things. I'm extremely passionate about music, listening and recording, but my favourite pastimes are split between napping and working out. Also, I make a mean batch of pancakes, I can supply the Canadian maple syrup, AND I have a Costco card. You cannot go wrong.
Recently graduated from bachelor of industrial design RMIT. Working part-time as a barista now while looking for a full-time job as a designer. I am an easy going and open-minded girl who spends most of her downtime reading books, watching films, going to an independent cinema, or local cafe for afternoon coffee/wine and visiting museums/galleries to immerse myself in the latest art curation. I also have an adorable cuddle one-year-old cat. His name is Ascher, I named him after my favourite artist, M.C. Escher! I am clean, organised and easy to live with. Been living by myself for 10 years, so I'm shared-house trained! Looking to share an awesome home with someone who loves cat, doesn't mind spending time discussing books, films, arts, or life in general while sipping red wine or beers with me on some nights but also appreciate privacy and alone time when needed! :) A decent cook and doesn't mind cooking for housemates once in a while and have dinner together.
