My names Luke and I am 34. I am married with three children 12, 10 & 8. Unfortunately my wife and I are currently separating, which is why I am looking for a room in a share house. I work full time in a Government job where I have been for the past 7 years. Prior to this I was in the Royal Australian Air Force for almost 9 years as a Chef and a Recruit Instructor. My interests include football, spending time with my kids and recently have started at a gym. I am quiet, tidy and spend a lot of time at work, including overtime shifts. Would love to have a chat at some stage if you wish. My wife and I are separating on good terms and she is happy to give a reference for me if needed. Thank you
I am a Canadian 27yo female. I work full time at the Royal Adelaide hospital but have recently decided to move around for work. This means I am pretty much doing "FIFO", so may be around for a week and then gone for a few. I have plenty of experience in share houses and am very easy to get along with and am okay with any type of flatmate, as long as you are respectful. Things I enjoy are beaches, drinks, cooking, animals, gym, travelling, music festivals and adventures. I am very easy going and okay with parties or with chilled nights, and I enjoy having a laugh. Looking for an easy going but clean house to live in while I'm back in Adelaide. Looking ideally for a room in an already set up share house but I can furnish my bedroom. Feel free to message for a meetup to see if I can fit into your house! :) 0 4 3 5 7 5 6 6 4 1
Hey there! I'm a full-time mobile game dev/office jockey working in the CBD, and I'm looking for a place to call home. If you're a fan of plants and spicy food I have a bunch of chillis that'll be coming with me, absolutely plenty to share around! I hit the gym a few nights a week and will probably cycle to work if there's a decent path to the city from the house. I'm a vegan (and avid recycler of plastics) so will look after my own food- but am always happy to cook a giant curry, pasta or whatever else I invent to share with the house. I've made some mean veggie burgers in the past and it's much more fun to share my cookery creations. I like to keep to myself in the mornings so I can get things done and get to work on time but am always up for a chat in the evening. If you're musical at all, I have two Rav Vasts (like a hybrid handpan/tongue drum) that are a bunch of fun to share and super quiet too. As far as cleaning, I like to clean as I go but am happy to do a schedule if that's more up your alley. If anything there sounds great, send me a message and I'd love to meet you all!
Hi! We're two final year Irish students studying nutrition and dietetics. We are coming to Adelaide for 4 months to do our final year research project at UniSA. We're great people to share a place with- clean and tidy, very easy-going and social- would be great to make a few friends while we're there. Always up for a few drinks but not here just to party either! Interested in doing lots of weekend adventures around the area. Both of us love the beach!
Hi! I've just moved back from melbourne after a contract finished and am working hospitality while I apply for jobs back in my field (mechanical and aerospace engineering). I am well-versed in sharing houses and hence am tidy and respectful but love a good chat, sharing a meal and a general chill with my housemate(s). I'm an excellent cook and its not unusual to come home and find me in the kitchen to say "HEY! I made risotto and I have beer/wine, grab a glass/beer and it'll be ready in a bit!" In my spare time I cycle road and mountain bike and rock climb quite a bit too. I'm very outdoorsy and love fishing too. Hopefully I've sold myself well enough. It'd be great to chill with a coffee and see if we gel and if so, we can take it from there. Cheers, Nate.
we are a fun couple. Not party people anymore. we are clear, tidy, social. We work for a dive centre. Our visa ends in June so than we have to leave australia.
Looking for a clean and friendly place. I am a Registered Nurse - shift worker, working different shifts during the week & weekends. I am down to earth and very easy to get along with. I love adventure, travel and being outdoors, usually find me at the beach or wakeboarding on the river during summer. I love catching up with friends, attending events and being social, going out for good food and a cocktail or two. I do like being social in a sharehouse as well as doing my own thing sometimes. Especially during nightshift period I am fairly quiet.
I am 27M Friendly, fun-loving, easy-going, helpful, very flexible, outgoing and social. I work part-time during the week and am a full-time university student, so i'm basically never home much. Love adventures, roadtrips, photography and listening to music when free. Love interacting with people, making new friends and having fun.
Hello I'm a 26, F, Singaporean relocating to Adelaide for a job. I'm looking for a room sharehouse with friendly housemates that are up for a chat but also respect each other privacy and space. The ideal share house for should be bills inclusive and hopefully neat and clean. Would prefer a room with at least a double bed and if possible some storage space as I do have a bit of stuff. Sharing bathroom and toilet is okay. No pets as of now but may consider one in the future. Flexible with parking (haven't got a car but plan to have one) Planning to stay long-term in the right sharehouse :)
Hey there! I currently live in Canada and am originally from Hungary. I moved here 7 years ago and I'm planning to go to Australia for my last semester in uni. I work part-time in Abercrombie and I also do eyelash extensions. I'm looking for a place/room that is close to UniSA. In my free time I like to go to the gym or just relax. I do live a fast paste life downtown Toronto and am glad when I have time to chill for a bit. I am cool with pretty much anyone and am easy to live with.
I am always up for family dinners, spontaneous adventures and movie nights. I am looking for somewhere that isn’t just a house but a home that will be tidy and also environmentally conscious.
My name is Akshay and I am a Mechanical Engineer working in the mining sector. I am a very clean and tidy person who loves to exercise and stay very active throughout the week. I am an early to bed early to rise type of person. I am looking for a place which is preferably close to or around the CBD.
I'm a chef who loves to cook and entertain people. I'd love to share a house with a friendly bunch. My ideal share-house would have housemates from different walks of life, bringing different experiences and stories to the table. I have been living in share houses for a few years and know to respect others space. Having said that, I do love to hangout with the housemates and share a meal or a few drinks every now and then. I'm a bit of a neat freak and slightly OCD, which as I've learned is a good thing when living in a shared space. I like having things neat and tidy and in their places. Hit me up if you think I'll be a good fit to your house. :)
This house is just on the other side of the South Terrace parklands, which means it's a: —5-minute drive to the city ($8-10 uber/taxi) —2-minute walk to bus stop, serviced by 3 routes (g10, w90, w91) —10-minute walk to tram/train services Wayville is the best neighbourhood in Adelaide (prove me wrong), with a brand new Drake's supermarket (and chemist) that's a 2-minute walk down the street. If you're into being a little more wholesome like me, the Wayville Farmer's Market is on every Sunday across the street at the showgrounds (Gilles at the Grounds and BowerBird Bazaar also on regularly). There isn't much in the way of restaurants/eateries in walking distance, but being this close to the city means almost every restaurant is in reach of your fingertips on uber eats. I love to cook so have close to every cooking utensil and appliance known to man, including 3 BBQs. The house has courtyard-style front and back yards, with a garden just waiting to be planted if that's your thing, with plenty of space to socialise, or just read a book in the hammock. The shared lounge and dining room is huge, with enough space for two people to do seperate activies without getting in eachothers' hair. There is an upstairs room which I hope to use as a second communal area/reading room/lounge area/spare bedroom, but I am totally open to finding a tenant for it if you'd prefer to share the house with another/split rent 3 ways Each of the largest rooms has built-in wardrobes. Great hot water pressure from the shower in the shared bathroom. There's a downstairs toilet, as well as plenty of kitchen and laundry storage space. I don't own a car so the off-street parking is all yours! I run a media server so along with Netflix I have a nauseatingly long list of films and tv series to watch. There's a PS4 and nintendo switch for solo or social gaming, as well as my collection of boardgames. The evaporative air conditioner costs nothing to run, is ducted throughout and keeps the house very cool. There's a new fridge, new washing machine and a dishwasher. Unlimited NBN internet (paid monthly), water contribution (quarterly) and electricity (quarterly) all not included in rent.
I'm studying computer science in 2019 in Adelaide. I'm trained as a barista and with various other hospitality work, though I will need to find a new job for the move. I'm relatively introverted but if I get going on a topic I enjoy, I could talk for hours! I built a PC earlier this year (would highly recommend, way easier than it seems) which I like to use for gaming and movies, among other things. I'm from western Victoria, near the Grampians, and went to school in Ballarat. I'm also bi, it's a new thing for me and I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. I'm nervous but excited about what the new year and the big city will bring!
I am 21 year old failing artist, mediocre barista and aspiring psychologist studying at Flinders University. Will provide copious amounts of hummus, a good laugh, light banter and endless cups of tea & coffee. Have lived in 2 share houses previously over the course of 3 years, leaving current one due to my house mate moving interstate and craving some overall change. Enjoy a good balance of alone time and being social with house mates.
I am a friendly person that is happy to keep to themselves but am always up for a chat and hanging out. Love cooking for others more than myself and enjoy cleanliness. I am pretty social and out frequently although also enjoy having a friend or two over in a week. Passionate about health, fitness and spiritual growth. Not a partier but love a quiet wine or two (especially in winter).
My name is John, I'm a 29-year-old Scottish healthcare professional who has recently moved to Adelaide for work. I'm a coffee lover, vego foodie and enjoy good conversation. I'm into nature and the simple life. I've lived over 20 different people excluding family so I know the ropes of share houses. I have a contract until February 2020 so something longer term would suit but can also be flexible.
Hey, I'm returning from a 6 month internship in the Biomedical Engineering department in Alice Springs, back in Adelaide to finish up my honours with Flinders Uni. I work as a brand ambassador, play video games, and cook relatively well. Alice Springs has prepared me for the worst, and I just need somewhere to keep my bed and my computer.
Hi there, I'm Sophia! I'm a 24 year old working as a Graphic Designer in Adelaide. I am looking for a housemate/housemates who would like to make a house a home. I enjoy cooking, listening to music, exercising, spending plenty of time outdoors and a good glass of wine. I would love to enjoy these things with the people I live with! I am very clean and organised, and like to keep my home tidy. I am also environmentally conscious and love having plants around the house.
