The apartment is only 3 years old. It is fully air-conditioned and fully furnished making it ideal for people moving from out of town without many belongings to start off. It has a large balcony that overlooks the marina. There is a gym and pool situated in the complex which will be accessible from 7am-9pm. The apartment is located just off Palmer street making it very convenient for eating out and socialising.
Hi one room is available. It is a hop skip and jump away from palmer street (30 seconds.) A walk to Flinder's street. Thought has been put into the modern and retro furnishings. Backyard is full of shady trees and there are multiple different places to relax. Room can come with a single bed, cupboard chair and side table if you wish. Room is not huge but has everything you need. Also includes bills so there is nothing extra to pay, apart from taking turns buying toilet paper and house cleaning items. We are a chilled group of housemates, who mostly do our own thing but enjoy regular chats and occasional hang outs.
Engineer, single 28yo working roster in the mines down south. Easy going, love to socialise, however appreciate my own space now and again as I'm also studying. More than happy to help out with house up keep 😊
Hey I'm Katie. I currently work full time however am going to start studying next year and need a place to live. I'm leaning towards the cheaper end of the spectrum, just the basics, it doesn't need to be fancy, as I'd rather not spend my life savings on rent. I'm a neat and tidy person, and I mostly keep to myself. ✌🏼
Im Alannah, I work full time and enjoy adventuring and catching up with friends in my free time. I have a cute little dog called Jardi, she is a chihuahua x daschund who is very well behaved and loves a cuddle. My lease is finishing up on the 20th December, so I am either looking for a couple of people to move in to current place and renew the lease ($265p/w for whole property) or to team up and find a new home or to find a room in a share house 😊
Hi my name is Alice, I am easy going, friendly and clean up in communal areas. I am looking for a place to move into ASAP as my current lease ends the first week of December. I have lived in Townsviille for five years. I enjoy exercise and the outdoors. I am genuinely fairly quiet and keep to myself, However I am always up for a chat. If you are looking for a housemate to fill a spare room, please let me know! Alice
We (that's Jack and Anja) are looking for someone to move in with us. Jack has bought the house a couple of years ago and we've been doing lots of renovation on it since, to make it a paradise everyone wants to call home. One bedroom is available starting Mid-November and around Christmas - time our beloved friend will move out so we'll be looking to find someone to move into the second bedroom at that time. The house has got 3 bedrooms in total. The first one we are renting out has a big inbuilt cupboard for all your belongings and a window to let both light and breeze into your room. At the moment there is a queen size bed with a mosquito net set up, but if you are bringing your own bed it can easily be stored underneath the house. The second room which will be available around Christmas (we don't know the exact date yet) and has also got our friends bed and a little cupboard in it. We've recently upgraded this room with a balcony that overlooks our vegetable garden. Right next to this bedroom is the bathroom with a big shower, the toilet and lots of storage room for everyone's belongings. The two front rooms are Jack and my bedroom and a little office. The heart of the house is a big open living space where we like to chill on the couch, listen to music and dance through the kitchen whilst cooking amazing dishes for ourselves and sometimes for friends. From the kitchen/livingroom there are sliding windows facing the big deck and views onto our beloved garden. The deck invites to chill in one of the hammocks, do yoga on, have breakfast/lunch and dinner, be creative , read a book and listen to the birds. Because there really is not much else in our soundscape. We're very lucky to have a quiet neighbourhood. Downstairs there is a big garden, which is ever evolving and growing into a more and more beautiful space for everyone. Jack is a landscaper so he's got the vision, know-how and passion to create wonderful landscape in the back yard. Underneath the house is our storage space, the washing machine and washing line, as well as Jack's workbench. There is still a few projects we have in mind to transform the house and garden even more, but really it is already a homely haven that we both love a lot.

Hi, I'm Bethany, 22, and I'm moving to Townsville in January 2018 to study an MSc in Marine Biology at JCU. Originally from the UK, I'm easy going and sociable and enjoy casual drinking at local bars, watching live music and good old cheese, wine, and Netflix nights. I also love to travel and dive alongside adventuring and hiking in the great outdoors. I am a clean, tidy and respectful housemate who has lived in shared accommodation for the past three years, so I understand the ins and outs of shared living. Happy to live with males or females.
Helloo, I am moving to Townsville late Dec/ early Jan and looking for a place to live/ share. I am working in Allied Health (soon to be Occupational Therapist) and am very adventurous, relaxed and organised. I am very sociable and enjoy meeting new people :)
Hi I’m Danielle, 29 year old female, Im work and fitness orientated. Easy to get along with. Happy to converse with others but also like my own space. Very neat and tidy, non smoker. I have a miniature dachshund which comes as a package with me but she’s small and cute and gets along well with all dogs and cats :)
Hello, My name is Mandy. I'm on my working holiday in Australia. In the future few weeks(or months), I'll still stay in Townsville and work at here. So, I just want to find a quiet and nice place to enjoy my leisure moment.
Hi, I am a 20yr old male. work full time for a local company in Townsville, which has me flying here there and everywhere for work. I don't spend a great deal of time in Townsville itself so I'm no bother, love a drink or 10 on my days off, originally from the sunshine coast so the beach is my only love yep, single too so no annoying partners to come over and get in the way. I have a car (land cruiser troopy) would love for it to be sheltered when I'm away if possible, and a Harley and dirt bike which if there isn't room for I can re locate. apart from that I live out of a suitcase...oh and I'm a diesel fitter by trade so if your cars broken I'm sure we can do something about it ;) gym, bikes, camping love to travel, love meeting new people, and a drink.....or 10 haha oh and triple j.....
Moving abroad for grad school. Currently living in the US and have never been out of the country so this will be an exciting first! I will hopefully also be taking on a job, so scheduling wise I might be coming in an out, but otherwise I am super laid back and kinda just go along with whatever! I have all sorts of hobbies and definitely like the outdoors, exploring, etc. so I'm always down for roommate adventures!
I’m a full time cultural heritage consultant being relocated from Brisbane to Townsville. I work relatively long hours and am super friendly, easy going and reliable. I love to unwind after work with a good home cooked meal and wine, preferably in front of Netflix lol. I’m after a like-minded female roommate.
I'm very easygoing, enjoy social situations, and like living in a friendly, cared for home. I'm moving to Townsville for work (uni) and given I don't know folks there, thought it would be nice to share again. Not into mindless TV watching, but like films, and enjoy spending time with people that are grounded, friendly, know how to live well with others, and interested in the world around us. I'm friendly, reliable, and not into partying. Older on the outside, younger on the inside. Some of my interests are rock climbing, bush walking, permaculture, flourishing communities, live music, healthy cooking, and interesting conversations, to name a few. I tend to get on well with people of all ages, particularly those with spirit, and enthusiasm for life.
I'm an early childhood teacher for the Queensland Department of Education, I am transferring up to Townsville from Brisbane to teach in Jan next year. I am very easy going, I spend most of my time out of the house exercising or doing other activities after work.
