Hey! I'm Chelsea, I'm 22 and I work full-time as a production coordinator for a photography studio. I'm looking to share a place with someone in a similar age-bracket and situation (i.e. young professional that is chill and kinda cool - but not too cool, ya feel) I'm looking for a place within walking distance to Prahran Market as I work nearby. I'd like to share with one or two people. I have enough furniture to start a new place, but I'd be open to moving into a pre-established share-house as long as some of my furniture can come with me! (I'm very attached to my comfy couch) In my spare time, I like to write, drown myself in movies and tv shows and have a few laughs over a g+t like I'm a sixty year old widow. I'm clean, reliable and very organised. what i'm looking for: a bedroom with a nice window a lovely housemate a kitchen with more than 5cm of bench space off-street parking so yeah, basically get in touch if you're looking to make a house a home and would maybe consider teaming up with me to do so. also get in touch if you already have a place you'd like me to check out! - Move: Mid-August - Area: Prahran/Windsor - Budget: $250w + bills (max each) - Stay: Probably 1 year minimum if all goes smoothly (Not keen on living with a couple)
I'm currently a student at Deakin University studying in my final semester of a law degree, while also looking for full-time work. I'm tidy, easy to get to know and pretty laid back. I love meeting new friends and have a lot of different interests. I'm into running and fitness generally, and don't mind a night out for a drink or two.
Hi Future Flatmates My name is Sarah and I'm relocating back to Melbourne from Sydney for work. I'm friendly, considerate and clean (but not OCD clean). I will be working as a project manager M-F , so I keep low key weekdays but like to pack the weekends full of bar and food exploration activities. Some hobbies include cooking, going to the gym (this will be a new start hobby), netflix & travelling - saving my annual leave for a trip to South/Central America. Looking for like minded roommates who would like to share the occasional meal/wine/go to a gig but are also mindful of downtime. Also looking for an unfurnished room. Looking for a place where I can call home, feel relaxed, chill out and share a dew laughs with the roommates. I'm very flexible with move in dates as I get some accommodation free with work. Moving down to Melbourne on the 11th so can start doing inspections from then (or Skype is also ok). Give me a buzz if you want to know anything else/set up a meeting Cheers Sarah
Hi, I have just moved from France to experience Australia. I am an IT professional and actively looking for a job (negotiating currently). I am searching for open-minded housemates who enjoy life. If you want to know more about me I'm happy to share a coffee with you.. Cheers Dino
Living in Singapore with the ability to report in to work remotely we're looking to experience life in Melbourne this November. Who wouldn't want to walk out the door to great cups of coffee every morning? Mark is from England, Vivian Norway. We like conversation and meeting new people though primarily will be working and spending time exploring the area together. Looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and private space. (I'm writing this post on behalf of my parents :)
Hello! I know what you're thinking: 'this will be another standard profile', well fear not for I am not what I seem to be! Yes I'm a student, yes I'm early twenties and yes I'm Asian but you wouldn't know that I am also a student with a decent job, very mature for my age and actually an Australian born citizen? I suppose you could say about me that 'there's more than what meets the eye'. Want to find out more? Send through a message if you have a room or are looking to team up with me in the South Yarra/Toorak/Hawthorn areas 😁
I consider myself to be a peaceful, friendly individual with an open mind. I enjoy spontaneous adventures, treks, Music festivals, fitness. I'm someone who likes socialising and equally enjoys time by myself. I tend to keep things tidy and respect the shared space. Un-winding with a drink or Movies/Tvshows is something I tend to engage in. I'm from Bombay, India and currently doing my Masters in Monash. Will be spending most of my time studying or working part-time. Looking forward in meeting like-minded flatmates!
Hi, my name is Kris and I am a chilled and easy going professional guy. I am 29 years old (big 30 not too far away) I enjoy keeping fit, cooking, socialising and travelling. if I did not work out I would be the size of a house as I just absolutely love good food. I have just received the incredible news that my visa has been approved for Melbourne and I cannot wait to explore what the city has to offer. I am moving to Melbourne from Scotland in Aug 2017 and looking for a place asap. I will be working late most days in the office and will be out and about at weekends exploring but would love to hang out when we are free. I am looking for an easy going flat mate who is clean and respectful and would like to get the odd beer/dinner together and is just a generally cool person.
Studying a Digital Media & Management Course and do some working experience. Looking forward to getting to know interesting people who like to share nice moments around a table, cooking, eating, having some wine, beers and great stories. Love doing sports and explore this lovely city and country. Great Asado doer, really ;)
Hello, I'm Lily and am about to take on a new career in Melbourne. I'm relocating from the Gold Coast and am searching for a room close driving distance to the airport. I'm a really happy, bubbly person who is always keen to socialise and make new friends. I'm a very clean, tidy, quiet and considerate room mate 😀 I'm looking for some lovely people to live with who are laid back and friendly to be around. I will be really busy working and undertaking extensive training at my new job so will be away a lot and when at home will be mostly laying low. I'm looking to relocate around October - November but am flexible with dates. I'm expecting to stay in Melbourne long term🙂
Hey all, I am sports scientist/dietician who runs my own business as well as a contractor to large organizations. I love to live a healthy lifestyle and spend a lot of my spare time out on my bike or at the gym. I have two beautiful Labradors aka furkids and am looking for someone who is open to having them around the house. I'm open to also finding a new lease with someone to get the perfect place. NB- my dogs are non-negotiable and I am not open to considering a place that I am not able to have my dogs at when they are with me. What am I looking for? I'm wanting to move in with someone who shares a love of all things health. I like to go out and socialise but also love to stay home and watch a movie and cook a delicious meal. I'm definitely not a party animal so and not looking to live with one either. I am clean/tidy and would need to live with someone who is considerate and tidy. Home should be a place where you can relax so someone I get along with however we don't have to live out of each other's pockets. A nice balance would be ideal :) **UPDATE** please note I am currently looking at properties (houses) in the inner East and South East to rent and also open to looking for a room mate(s)

I am a people person and I love a bit of community (that includes the TV show as well). I'm a muso, like to get around and explore the city and sneak in a few basketball games while I'm at it. I work full-time as a UX designer and I'd like to think I'm fairly clean and organized and hopefully, I'll be a good laugh too. Cheers!

My fur baby and I are looking for a new place to call home. I work full time in a cafe and enjoy going to the gym. My cat, Lazuli, is a Ragdolls and just over a year old. I'm looking for a place that is warm and peaceful, where I know Lazuli will be ok during the days I'm at work.
It's one bedroom unit, but I set up my room in the living room to be able to share the rent with someone else. The only inconvenient is that we will be sharing a ensuite bathroom which is located in the room. So if you are ok with that, the rest would be great. It is located in an amazing suburb, it is 10 min walking distance from chapel st, where you can find cafes, restaurants, clubs, shops and supermarkets. The train is 2 minutes away from the place and it takes 7 minutes to get to flinders st in the CBD.
Hi, I'm Trisha, 26, from Ireland. I recently relocated to Melbourne and am looking for social housemate(s) to share the occassional glass of wine or meal with. I work as a physiotherapist so mainly Monday - Friday 9-5, in the evenings I like to go to the gym, cook and relax. Weekends are for catching up with friends, brunch and drinks.
I'm an international undergraduate student, on my last semester at UniMelb. I have been sharing a flat with others the past 2 years so I am very experienced, responsible and tidy around the house. I always pay rent and bills on time. I'm also social but polite and not too loud, I respect other people's privacy - because I understand I also need privacy. I don't smoke and party. I'll usually be out during the days either working or studying, and be home at nights binge watching on my laptop. I love to explore yummy food, visit markets/popups, and go to concerts :)
Hello there people of Melbournia, I am on the lookout for a spacious room in South Yarra (or as close as) to share a home with some lovely people to share a home with. Move in by early August! I'm the kind of housemate who's guilty pleasure is trashy T.V, will keep the fridge stocked with hummus and can make a mean avocado on toast. I am a young full time professional, working as a Marketing Assistant as well as running my own business; Board Art Melbourne. I'm hoping someone will read this and think "what a coincidence I have a room AND it's in South Yarra (or as close as) I'm going to message Claire because she sounds awesome." MESSAGE ME :D
Our fabulous housemate Penny is sadly moving out of our gorgeous church and we are searching for someone friendly, clean, and easy-going to move in. Our place is a three level, four-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom converted townhouse in South Yarra (please note the living and kitchen area are currently furnished differently to the photo). The room is the smallest in the house and will be unfurnished, but comfortably fits a queen size bed, desk and bedside table. It has a large mirrored built-in wardrobe, and access to the largest bathroom (complete with giant spa-bath). Most importantly, the room has a view of the gorgeous original stain-glass windows at the front of the church (see image). You’ll be moving in with three lovely professional women, aged 24-28 and we are looking for someone in a similar position. Our house is fairly low key but we do enjoy the occasional shared dinner and tv night. This place is super close to the Prahran Market and Chapel Street, and has the 72 tram line right at the door, which takes around 10-15 minutes to Flinders St, plus the 246 Bus which heads over to the north side. If this sounds like an ideal home, introduce yourself and we will be in touch! We will be conducting meet-ups early next week so send us a message ASAP!
