I am an IT professional working Monday to Friday 9 to 5 and looking for a new house to have my quiet evenings. I like to chat and get to know my housemate(s) but also respect personal space and like to keep the house and kitchen clean but not a clean freak.
Hi all! I am currently studying a double in Science and Music at Monash, and enjoy cooking, music and camping. I like a clean and tidy space around me, and have no troubles with my share of cleaning. I'd love to get to now my housemate's to be. My current degree is in Jazz Trombone, so a little quiet practice is necessary, however I am aware and respectful of others peace and quiet. Cheers! Aryo
This is a great location, the river, the City are all within reach. A beautiful neighbourhood all at your doorstep. Gym, pool, sauna, steam room, bbq, tennis courts all included in the building. The apartment boasts floor to ceiling windows and a beautiful view. You can see all the way to the water. Parking might be available, rental is quite common in the building.
I’m 22 working full time in docklands. Always lived in Melbourne, love the city, live music, playing pool, footy, games,op shops, tomato sauce and discovering new places. I’m easy going and get along with anyone from all walks of life. I love to travel and meet new people but I’m always struggling to write these introductions. I’m flexible with stay and move in date, ideally I’d like something long term.
Hi! I’m Amy, looking to make the move to Melbourne from NSW as I have finished uni and will be starting a full time job early February. I am respectful of others personal space and have lived out of home before. I enjoy travel, exercising, being social and embracing the outdoors, as well as enjoying some quiet time when it’s needed. Please contact me for any questions or if you’d like to work something out!
Hi there! I'm a 24 year old recent university graduate who is making the move from Adelaide to Melbourne for work - a 9-5 in a policy position with the Victorian Government. I like reading, writing (or, more accurately contemplating writing), binge-watching shows on Netflix and exploring new places. I'm a pretty laid back person and I'm not against having an occasional drink or hangout with my flatmate but I'm also cool with just doing my own thing. I view home as a sanctuary, a place to unwind after a busy day. I also like having a tidy place (I'm not anal about it though) and am big on everyone contributing equally to keeping the common areas neat. I'm flexible on how long the lease is - anywhere from ~3 months to a year works for me.
Im Dave, a 29 yo Carpenter from NZ. Have been living in WA on and off the last 6 years between stints of travels abroad. Im easy going and social, love a cold beer or a glass of red in the weekends after a hard week. I like to live in a clean environment. Im totally into sharing the cleaning of communal areas on a regular basis. Im into keeping fit and healthy, cooking and travel.
Hi there! I am Teal. 25 - Professional working in the city full time between 9:00 - 5:00 Monday through Friday. My lease is about to end at the start of Feb, so I am looking for a new place to move to ASAP! Preferably somewhere close to transport. Would be happier to team up with someone to find a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in the suburbs listed. I am super sociable, but also enjoy my own quiet from time to time. Looking to live with like minded people :)
An acting student so I love movies and pizza (movie and pizza nights are always welcome) just moved down here from Queensland and desperately need to find a place after my friend I was originally moving down with backed out. Starting a full time job on Sunday.
Im a 23 year old girl from Norway. I am on a working holiday and are planning to live in Melbourne until may-june. I work as a barista. As i person i am outgoing, positive and respectful of others. I like to hang out at home, but i also am a very active person who loves to be out- and about doing things.
Hello, future prospective housemates! I am looking for an awesome place to move into. I am flexible with the date but hope to be settled by end of Feb at the latest. Ideally a house - or very spacious apartment with, 2-3 other people. I have my own bedroom furniture that I am happy to bring along (queen bed size room required for this), and I am looking to live with other working professionals. Unfortunately, I cannot live with cats, but all other pets are fine! A bit about me: I have heaps of house share experience (clean/tidy/pay bills on time), am 31, work full time in a wellness clinic- so love all things health related, love exercising and getting out and about and exploring Melbourne and its surrounds on my time off. I am looking for a 'home' environment where i get along with housemates and can sit down for a friendly chat, meal or glass of vino rather than just a room to rent in a space. I also enjoy having my own down time and am respectful of my fellow housemates' space as well. If this sounds like a good fit please get in contact!
Moving from Sydney to Melbourne! I am sociable and friendly but understand the need to respect space. Always down for a chat or to chill! I'm clean and courteous to the needs of others :) you won't have to worry about late payments at all! I LOVE travelling, adventures and the outdoors. In my spare time i like to keep fit and just chill :) Netflix and food are a pretty good combo 🙄 oh yeah throw in some wine and cheese too 👌
I'm 26 and work for a Big4 accounting firm, during the week I’m pretty busy with work so generally quite quiet, usually go to the gym before work and then not home until after 6-7 most nights so it's just cooking dinner and catching up on the days news/tv/sport. Weekends are fairly laid back with watching/playing sport, catching up with mates or off exploring Melbourne. I like to keep a healthy lifestyle so I cook pretty regularly but clean up after myself, I've got a good sense of humor, and always up for a laugh/chat if someone wants to have one.
32-year-old French data engineer who has just obtained a sponsorship visa from an IT company. I will definitely be in Melbourne from January 13th. I am looking for a long term place to stay in Richmond / South Yarra / Fitzroy suburbs. A little bit of me: - spent 3 years in Paris / 6 years in Bordeaux (with 3 years colocation) - have a full-time job as a data engineer (type of software engineer in BigData domain) - easy-going, respectful and clean - love to be near to the ocean and the mountains (surf and snowboard passionate) - (sometimes) interested in the culture of healthy (diet, Brazilian jujitsu, mediation, yoga) - but definitely prefer spending time with glasses of red wine - like to discover new places (restaurants, bars, concerts, festivals)
We are easy going, sociable, respectful and fun girls to live with, from the U.K. We like to spend our free time sight seeing, going to the beach, trying out quirky bars and restaurants and sometimes just chilling watching a film.
I'm a reliable, clean, tidy - not really a clean freak, mind you - person. I'm looking for a place to call home for 1 year or more. Moving is really tiring. I'm mostly keep to myself after work but do not mind chats, dinners, binge watching, brunches, etc with future housemate whenever possible.
Hi there, I will be studying at Swinburne this semester and am currently looking for a room within a house close by the Hawthorn campus. I enjoy a relatively neat and comfortable place, with people that are responsible, mature and friendly :) I have lived in share houses for several years, so I am aware of the expectations in regards to sharing and respecting spaces. Ideally, I'd love to live with young professionals and/or students, as I am a student myself. I also work in a children's centre, as well as in hospitality on the weekends- so will be working and studying often times, but of course more than happy to spend time together for dinners and chats, and just hang out!
Hi there! :) My name is Friederike and I'm a 25-year old literature student from Germany, moving to Melbourne to study Creative Writing at Deakin University! :) I love travelling and getting to know other countries: I've lived and worked as a barista in Auckland, New Zealand for a year after finishing school and also did a work internship in Reykjavík, Iceland last year. Apart from that, I travel and explore the world around me as much as I possibly can! My passions include yoga, all things creative, great coffee, books, vegetarian cooking and baking, listening to and making music (mostly metal and (punk) rock but I'm open-minded!), socialising in general as well as enjoying fresh air and the ocean. :) Concerning living with me, I love a good mix between socialising as flatmates and privacy. I'm quite ambitious about my studies so I need my daily alone-and-quiet time - but at the same time, I enjoy cooking together/simultaneously and spending time together as flatmates! It's the cosiest thing ever, right? I also like being out and about during my free time and I'm not a "couch potato". When it comes to tidying and cleaning, a clean kitchen and bathroom are an absolute must for me. If you can imagine living with me, drop me a message! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :) ... oh and one last note: my preferred length of stay is in fact roughly 5 months but this website doesn't offer this option. :D
I'm a tidy, clean and respectable person that likes my own space but is also super friendly and sociable. I'm new to Melbourne so I'm looking for a sociable household that will take me under their wing and make me part of the family as well as a house mate :) I'm in full time work in the CBD and want to be in a location that isn't super far on the tram as I like my bed haha During the week I love a Netflix and chill and like to cook. During the weekend I like to head out exploring, hiking and of course love a drink and dominate that dance floor. I have all of the moves. Well at least I think I do after a few to many rums If there's anything else you think you need to know give me a message :)
Hey I'm Kelly, I'm a 26 year old gal looking for a sea change. Last year I quit my job to go travelling through Europe for 6 months. I currently live in Perth but wish to move to Melbourne asap! I am easy going and fun to be around. I am a people person and respect privacy. It would be ideal to have a job lined up before I get over there (and am applying in the healthcare area) but have enough saved to move over and keep looking. I am neat and tidy and mould easily to new environments I enjoy wine, cheese, sport, exercise, animals, crappy tv, travel and good banter :)
