Hi! I'm Francesco, an Italian doctor. I’ve just arrived in Melbourne for a 6-month surgical fellowship, running from August 2025 until January 2026. After that, I’ll be continuing with another 6-month fellowship in Sydney. I’ve booked an Airbnb for my first month here in Melbourne (August), and I’m now looking for a place to stay for the remaining five months, until January 2026. I'm looking for a furnished apartment or a room in a well-connected area of Melbourne. I’m currently prioritising South Yarra, as it offers great services, a vibrant lifestyle, and is well located — not too far from my workplace in Malvern or from the city centre. However, I’m also open to other options. A bit about me: I enjoy outdoor activities, travelling, playing basketball, and surfing. I’m friendly, respectful, and easy-going. I am happy to share a clean and pleasant space. I don’t smoke, and I’m tidy and considerate when it comes to shared areas. Looking for 1 or 2 people to team up to find a house in or around the areas specified. You will need your own bedroom furniture and we can work through what’s needed for the living areas. I’m not really interested in joining an existing household where I’m not on the lease. Employed in a luxury hotel and work somewhat normal hours but can sometimes work early mornings or late nights. Respectful of people’s privacy and not one for having friends over, other than the occasional dinner. Very clean, generally clean as I go. Pretty handy with maintenance and in the garden. I have a 3 year old English Staffy, he is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. Does not destroy anything other than his toys, does not dig, does not bark and does not shed hair. He loves cuddles on the couch!
