Maisie

I’m Maisie, 25 and I’ve recently moved to Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I’m currently staying with my family in Frankston South, but am looking to move out asap. I’m keen on finding a long term sublet in a cosy stylish home, with likeminded people who are also in their mid/late 20s.

A little bit about me, I studied environmental sciences and international development for 4 years in the UK, so you can count me in on any interesting conversations about climate change, politics, feminism etc! Day to day I like a slow paced life; having a good routine, going on walks, grabbing coffee, heading to the gym or a yoga class. I love thrifting and exploring vintage shops, visiting art exhibitions and museums. I enjoy quiet nights in watching movies, reading a book and eating chocolate, but I can never say no to going out for drinks at a local pub or a cool bar. Drink in one hand and digital camera in the other!

I’ll be working full time in hospitality, and then my long term goal is to find work that’s related to my degree. I’m determined to stay in Australia for as long as I can and make this experience worthwhile! I have lots of share house experience from my time at uni, so I understand the importance of maintaining a clean and tidy space and paying rent and bills on time.
