Hi my name is Arvind. I'm 24-year-old from Singapore and work in Marketing in Events for a company in the Education industry. I'm laid back and like to keep to myself quite a bit. I enjoy video games and soccer/football. My only need is having air conditioning in the home because I cannot sleep or operate in the summer heat without it. No qualms paying rent, cooking for myself or keeping tidy.
About me: I'm neat, positive, kind and happy. I'm from Melbourne, I work as a high school English tutor and I love binge watching Netflix. I'll be out of the house going to the gym, playing volleyball and hanging out with friends (mainly at night). Happy to split all bills, pay first months rent and bond in advance I get groceries delivered each week and am happy to order for you/keep tabs on splitting the costs of communal items Flexible with moving dates - I can move in asap or wait until a room is ready. What I'm looking for: Share house with 1 (or 2) other housemates Separate kitchen to any other room Outdoor space Someone who's happy for me to have two small birds in my room, the living room and occasionally outside to get some vitamin D (So there cannot be an animal that will attack birds (cats or dogs etc)) Close to a train station (as I don't have a car) Close to a large supermarket Neat/tidy/clean housemates Quiet house during the day Room big enough to fit a desk, chest of drawers, double bed, bird cage and free standing wardrobe (if there is no built in robe) Washer, dryer and oven (or at least room for these things) What I'm not looking for: Strict chore scheduling Excessive partying/drinking LGBTIQA+ unfriendly people Pets that will attack birds Other indoor birds (risk of disease spread) People who refuse to pull their weight with chores Noisy people Drug taking Smoking Shower curtains :p
Hi! I'm a warehouse trainee and am starting part time volunteer work at a lost dogs home. I'm an easygoing, open minded, and down to earth old soul with lots of respect for privacy and personal space. I'm generally pretty quiet, tidy and good at doing my own thing but I wouldn't mind sharing the occasional home cooked (or delivered) meal with a bit of communal Netflix, or a bottle of wine and a bit of conversation over a fresh platter. My interests are history, archaeology, theosophy, permaculture and environmental science. I love learning about other cultures and am planning an extended backpacking trip overseas after working and saving over a 6-12 month lease. Also love good coffee, hiking, books, antique/junk shops and op shops etc. Would be keen to start some gardening projects if backyard space is available :) Would be down to start a new share house with like minded people.
Hi! I am from Toronto, Canada on my working holiday visa. I arrived in May and have been living in the Gold Coast but looking more for a city vibe in Melbourne. I am single, non-smoker, female who tries to stay active outdoors and busy with work.
We are a couple in transition from Melbourne to Perth, that's why we are just looking for a three month lease after our current lease ends. Jason is a programmer and Anna works in hospitality and music, super easy going and respectful housemates. Love a glass of red wine and a cheeky game of Cards Against Humanity.
Two rooms available in queer house in Spotswood (right next to Yarraville)! We are looking for queer/queer friendly housemates. It's a two minute walk to the train station and a 20 minute train ride to the city. Both rooms have built in wardrobes and are light filled. We also have some space for storage, as we have two garages. All appliances are provided and the rent includes unlimited internet! The rooms are carpeted but the rest of the house has floor boards. The house is close to parks, shops and cafes and is in a lovely area. There's on street parking and we live on a quiet street, so I'd expect it would be very safe. We have a lovely back yard with a persimmon tree and lemon tree and I've recently planted some vegetables to start my veggie garden again. We are looking for someone who is queer/gay/trans friendly as we are a queer/gay/trans house. We don't have a preferred gender, we don't mind smoking (as long as it's outside) and as mentioned, we have two old cats which are kept indoors. They don't tend to get along with other cats or dogs, but they are very friendly to people. We can't have any more cats or a dog but small animals like a rabbit or bird are welcome. Rent is $640 per month including unlimited internet. We also have Netflix and Stan. Bills, other than those are split per person, but we have gas appliances including a gas heater so I expect our bills will be cheap. You are welcome to come and see the house and have a chat with us. I only have photos of the house unfurnished but will take some tomorrow of how it is now. **For some reason the map below isn't quite showing where our house is. It's closer to the train station then it shows. Let me know if you are interested!
Hey all! I'm a 30 year old professional looking for a share house. I am full time employed and also undertaking postgraduate study so I keep myself pretty busy. I work 9-5 and when I'm not at work, I'll either be studying, chilling at home or out and about catching up with friends and family. I love to travel so you may find me gone for a few weeks at a time - on average I spend 4-6 weeks overseas each year. I'm pet friendly (bonus if you have a dog I can love on!), non-smoker, vegetarian, LGBT friendly. I enjoy living in a clean and tidy home environment, so would love if you did too. Looking for something long-term if the situation is right. If you think you may have something that would suit, please get in contact. Thanks!
Just so you all know - I don't want to live in an established share house. I would LOVE to meet someone willing to team up together to start a new house that we can search for together! I come with a super cute, small, friendly, well trained dog named Tilly. She loves a snuggle and a nap - so you gotta be cool with that! When I am home I enjoy watching all my reality TV shows, playing with Tilly or just having a chat about my day. Im originally from Adelaide, only moved here 8 months ago, so hoping this will help me make some new friends too! I'm hoping to find a place that isn't just a place, but a space that feels like home, and would love to find someone that could be more of a friend than just a housemate. My boyfriend lives in Shepparton, so some weekends, I may not even be there, so you will have the whole house to yourself. I also come with a whole house full of furniture. Would really love to start a new house with some easy going, social, friendly and like-minded person! Im a big fan of cleaning and not so much of cooking, so if you like to cook, we will get on just fine! xx
My name is Brad, I am 34 years old and work full time as a draftsperson. I will be starting a new position in a few weeks and I'm looking for place to live. I have been living in Perth for the last four years working as a draftsperson while studying architecture. I loved living in Perth, however I decided to come back over east to be closer to family and friends. Brad
Hi guys! I'm looking for a FURNISHED PRIVATE room in the inner suburbs of Melbourne! An all-bills-included situation would be preferred but not essential. Also easy access to public transport and wonderful mellow roommates would be great! A little about me: I'm a globetrotter from Finland and currently working in an office job in the city full time. I would love to stay in Melbourne for the next 2-6 months and save up. However, because of the temp nature of my job, I can't say for sure how long it will be. Therefore it would be great if you can be flexible with the duration of my stay! I'm very mellow and quite sociable even if I often keep to myself after work just to chill out. On the weekends I mostly try to keep up with my running routine, sample new craft beers, try to catch a gig or a movie in the city or just binge watch a TV show in bed. I have lived in several shared flats before all around the world so I'm definitely not new to this either! Respectful and clean. So if you're looking for a new roommate, drop me a line and tell me what you have on offer. We shall take it from there! Cheers!
Hi, I'm Alex, 22, currently living in Sunbury with my parents. Looking to move out and enjoy life with other young, like-minded people. I enjoy sport, television and film, music and video games. Also the occasional beverage and social interaction.

Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 20 and I'm study music at JMC academy in Melbourne. I don't really need to find another place, I already live in a share house and all of my house mates are fine, but the house could be in better condition, so if I don't find anything else, it's not a big deal. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 9 month old kitten, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)
Hello potential housemates! I'm a 23yo female originally from Canberra and I've just relocated to Melbourne for work :) I'm in retail and work as a Regional Manager, responsible for 12 stores across Melbourne and Geelong. I work hard and pull long hours more often than not, but when I am home I'm always up for a shared meal and a glass of wine, accompanied by some mediocre banter (I'm sort of funny occasionally). I'm easy-going, fun, organized & tidy, flexible with living arrangements and paying rent and bills is never an issue. Probably my only downfall as a housemate is that I can't cook for sh*t....sorry ya'll. What I can do is provide a fun time and make sure there's always wine in the house. If any of this is sounding appealing please send me a message...this could be the start of a beautiful housemate-relationship!
Hi I’m Brendan I am looking for a long term household to share with nice responsible housemates with my dog just as long as its a harmonious household. I’m 43 & just re entered hospitality after a long hiatus formerly worked as a personal carer in Aged care for many years. I am quite & easy going have a love of music & european films & book reading. I am looking for a household where we treat each other with respect & can keep a tidy house & communicate be social or have our own space if needed. I am able to move now but I am currently on a fortnight to fortnight basis for giving notice. a 15 kilometre radius to the CBD is preferred but not essential ( love the area around Williamstown where I currently am.) I can afford up to 680 pcm I dont smoke. If you just want someone urgent just to pay rent its best not to contact me. Lucy is a 8 year old Blue Heeler she would probably like to be the sole dog but she has lived with dogs before she is very affectionate & fully house trained she sleeps in my room the yard would need tall fencing & be secure she is not able to live with cats. Thanks for taking the time to read my add if you have a room or know of someone who my please message me ; I don’t have FB switched on my phone & no internet at home but will check daily so there might be a delay in my response.
Hi, I'm Jono I'm 32 and I work in construction. I'm a pretty relaxed dude. Work big days during the week so like to chill out on weekend and catch up with mates. I come with a awesome Bulldog named Bam Bam. He is very well behaved and is an outside dog. But he doesn't mind coming in to watch some telly when he gets to. Anything els you want to know just ask 👍
LARGE ROOM AVAILABLE FROM AUG 5TH Hey everyone. So, my lovely housemate Yasmin is about to move in with her brother nearby and therefore I need some more crew to join me over here in this vintage and spacious spot of retro paradise that is the Spotty Crib. We're a 13 min walk from the train and the trip is about 12 minutes to the city. My good friend Daniel is our other housemate and is an engineer from Venezuela. ideally we are looking for a legend of a female to move into the bigger room. The room available is large in size, and comes with BIR and is situated at the front of the house opposite the lounge room. We have everything you need for living the life of mediocre dreams, however, I'm still in the process of making it homely (I've only been here a few months) so if you have anything to add please do! I've essentially got all the furniture in the house but the room comes unfurnished. In the garage I have a purpose built studio for my music. It is probably 80% soundproof. I've never had a complaint ever and I rehearse in there a lot both with my band and alone - however sorry to say I'm not looking to have any musicians move in. YOU The people that join this dreamy living will be extremely clean individuals with steady employment and a history of being at least an 8/10 for personality. You'll be busy with your own life but also keen to socialise with us housies and friends - I want this to be a great place to live, not 3 strangers. If you're a Spanish speaker perfect because I'm learning Spanish and I want to get really good. We are ideally looking for a lovely lady to join us but open to a full house of guys too. This is NOT a party house but definitely is a fun place. This is a place for hustlers chasing a dream. Ya snooze ya lose. I'm the sole lease holder (only because it has appeared to be far easier this way to deal with everything) so you'll essentially be subletting. Therefore there are a few finance options but roughly.. Room 1 $640 p/m plus 1 month bond. Internet $20 pm Electricity, gas and water is always different but no different to any other house I've been in before. No smokers sorry.. however, the occasional 420 celebration is cool with me. Thanks 😁😊
Hello potential housemates, I'm Rob study construction management at RMIT and work in construction company in docklands Monday to Friday. I'm mostly occupied on the weekends with my uncles restaurant as I help out. I try to stay fit and go to gym after work (but sometimes too tired to go. So if you're active that'll be extra motivation). I'm not a party animal. Just the occasional drink with work mates (and maybe potential house mates). And yeah. That's about it.
I am a friendly and funny french girl, only been is Australia for 2 years. I have a healthy lifestyle who enjoys my fitness on a regular basis. I am a beauty therapist working on a casual basis although this can vary from day to day.
