Hi! My name is Sofia, 21 years old from Sweden. I just moved to Melbourne from Perth, to a room in a sharehouse that was not at all like the pictures and descriptions I had gotten before arriving. Old food on the tables, mice in the kitchen and a broken from door are just some of the things that got be back to looking for a new room. I used to work as an au pair, so taking care of the house by cleaning, cooking and doing laundry was something I did just about everyday. I´m a calm and organized person who also enjoys a good party. For fun I like to hang out with friends, go on trips and watch netflix! Something I love very much is animals, and I also really enjoy baking. I'm available to come look at rooms and move in ASAP. Hope to hear from you soon!
A room available in queer house in Spotswood (right next to Yarraville)! We are looking for a queer/queer friendly housemate. It's a two minute walk to the train station and a 20 minute train ride to the city. The room has a built in wardrobe and is light filled. We also have some space for storage, as we have two garages. All appliances are provided and the rent includes unlimited internet! The room is carpeted but the rest of the house has floor boards. The house is close to parks, shops and cafes and is in a lovely area. There's on street parking and we live on a quiet street, so I'd expect a car would be very safe there. We have a lovely back yard with a persimmon tree and lemon tree and I've recently planted some vegetables to start my veggie garden again. We are looking for someone who is queer/gay/trans friendly as we are a queer/gay/trans house. We don't have a preferred gender, we don't mind smoking (as long as it's outside) and as mentioned, we have an old cat that is kept indoors. He doesn't tend to get along with other cats or dogs, but is very friendly to people. We can't have any more cats or a dog but small animals like rabbits or birds are welcome. Rent is $640 per month including unlimited internet. We also have Netflix and Stan. Bills, other than those are split per person, but we have gas appliances including a gas heater so I expect our bills will be cheap. You are welcome to come and see the house and have a chat with us. I can provide furnished photos of the house if you'd like. **For some reason the map below isn't quite showing where our house is. It's closer to the train station then it shows. Let me know if you are interested!
One roome available in Yarraville/Spotswood area. It's a 2 minute walk to the train station and a 20 minute train to the cbd. The room has a wardrobe and and lots of natural light. We also have an optional bed. We also have plenty of storage space as we have two garages and on street parking is available in our quiet street, where your car will be safe. We are about a one minute walk from some lovely cafes cafes and a grocery store. Coles is a short drive or bus ride away. We have a lovely 16 year old cat who is living out his retirement with us. He is very cuddly and friendly towards people but is not friendly towards other cats or dogs, unfortunately. The rest of the house is furnished and all appliances are provided. Must be queer friendly! Queer people welcome. You are welcome to get in touch and ask any questions you might have and I can also send you more photos of the house as it is now. You are also welcome to come and see the rooms 😊
Hi I'm Rhys. I work full time in Port Melbourne as a graphic designer. I am also a professional runner and spend much of my spare time (mostly week nights straight after training) either at training or the gym. I am also an illustrator and have heaps of great art (and nice furniture) that I can bring with me. I'm gentle natured, totally sorted, clean, easy to get a long with and fully respect other people's privacy. I'd make a great housemate :)
Hey, I am looking to move in somewhere suitable for me. I wouldn't mind doing teamups as well. I really respect and value privacy and take that very seriously. I love helping out with the house chores and cooking. Hit me up if you wanna know more.
Moving to Melbourne from Perth due to a job offer late September 2017. Haven't lived in a shared house for 25 years (excluding living with my own son). Would like to live with someone who has maturity, intelligence, sense of humour and has had life experiences Not really fussed about the suburb that I will be living in as I will be doing contract work as a Land Surveyor and will be working in a different part of the city every day. However probably the Western or Northern suburbs would suit me best. Will occasionally work from home a day or two a week. At my age the party animal has well and truely dissipated . So I won't have any noisy social habits that will interrupt your peace. However given that I am new to Melbourne with few social contacts it would be nice to share a house with a sociable person.
Hi potential housemates! Looking for a like minded person to live with. I am from Geelong and work full time in healthcare. In my spare time I love anything outdoors keeping fit, running, cycling, walking, camping and during summer the beach and maybe a surf! On the weekends I love the occasional night out with friends and family, going out for a meal and a red wine. I am sociable but also like my downtime. I am looking for someone who keeps busy but will share a laugh, the occasional dinner and a walk, absolutely must be clean and reliable. I don't have any pets but love dogs so it's on my radar. I am keen to 'team up' and find a place with someone as I have a unit at the moment with most the furnishings needed. I am not in any hurry so happy to spend time looking. Looking forward to hearing from potential housemate!!

Currently studying my Masters of applied finance while working full time. I like sports, love coffee and I'm a cycling enthusiast and keen runner. On weekends, I like to get out and about to socialise and have fun, but I also I like to chill out at home with some good music and a drink or two.

Large living room overlooks the perfect entertaining deck, large lush landscaped gardens, sizeable adjoining lock up shed/workshop/garage and delightful art studio. Benefit from the space and comfort on offer in this lovely, brightly lit home with gorgeous, serene outdoor settings, ample storage and flexibility!
Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 20 and I'm study music at JMC academy in Melbourne. I don't really need to find another place, I already live in a share house and all of my house mates are fine, but the house could be in better condition, so if I don't find anything else, it's not a big deal. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 9 month old kitten, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)

I come with a awesome Bulldog named Bam Bam. He is very well behaved and is an outside dog. But he doesn't mind coming in to watch some telly when he gets to. Anything els you want to know just ask 👍
This is a beautiful granny flat in Yarraville. The property has just been built and you will be the first to use the rooms. You have your own bedroom, kitchenette, ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, desk and parking. You have the entire flat to yourself and bills are included in the rent. Yarraville is easily the best suburb in Melbourne and we are less than 5 minutes walk to the station and in stumbling distance from three pubs. We have an outdoor seating area and fire pit for the summer, you can have your own fridge/freezer and there are no restrictions on stay time.
The room is very spacious and has its own private access to the shared bathroom. The house is located in a very central location within 10mins drive to CBD. Bus stop at door step, 10min walk to Newport train station and a few minutes drive to Williamstown beach and village. The house is in walking distance from Newport lakes which is a perfect spot for a jug, yoga or just some relaxation. You will have access to all of he house amenities.
About the room: it comes with double bed, dresser and built in robe or you can bring your own bedroom furniture. House is furnished with shared common areas and small back yard. Small bungalow for some storage if needed. No internet, as I don't really need it but can be connected. 500 metres from the train station, pubs, cafes and shops. 10-15 minute train ride to the city. Bills not included About me: 29 year old professional female, working in the community services sector, full time. I enjoy a fit and healthy lifestyle so I'm out most nights doing something active. I don't mind if you smoke (outside). I enjoy boxing, crossfit, yoga, netball, eating out, wine, relaxing on the couch with a movie or doco. I am currently fostering a medium sized rescue American Bulldog named Monty, he is a lovely dog but a bit timid. He is with me for the foreseeable future until he finds a permanent home, so at this stage I cannot have any other pets join the house. About you: aged between 29-38, like minded, well mannered, social, employed, on time with bills and rent, positive energy, up for a meal, laugh or glass of wine. I'm looking for someone to join the house in the next few weeks or so. Not in a huge rush, just after the right person. Looking for someone mid-long term. If this sounds like the right fit for you, let me know. Please email rather than sms, we can work out contact details and more photos after. Thanks for stopping by! : )

Hi I'm Kirstin. I'm an English girl moved to Melbourne at the beginning for the year. I work full time and when i'm not working I am out exploring this country. I like to keep fit often found in the gym. I'm clean, easy going, always up for a chat. Looking for a new place to call home. Please get in touch.
Hey all i'm currently moving from gold-coast to Melbourne. I'm a videographer by trade but don't have employment down in Melbourne yet. i've been renting rooms in houses since i was 18 and have several previous landlords who can vouch for me, I keep quite and tidy and am adaptive to household rules. i'm seeking a place to stay in the surrounding suburbs of port Melbourne and am flexible as to whether it be short or long term stay. i love pets and as for being unemployed i have sufficient savings for 2 months of stay before i find work.
Hi my name's Natasha. I'm a 24 year old female from England looking for a friendly, sociable flat or house share in suburbs close (ish) to the city. I am very easy going and easy to talk to! I have been in Australia (mainly Melbourne) for almost 2 years working and travelling and I am now looking to find a house share with a good work/life balance closer to the city than where I have previously lived as I do like to have fun! I am very respectful and try to share as much as possible with whoever I live with. Clean, tidy and always willing to pull my weight around the house! Just looking for a relaxing place to stay with good people who like to socialise with their flatmates :) :)
Easy to get along with, extremely neat and tidy, don't mind doing all the chores around the place because I actually enjoy doing them. Studying full time off campus and also run an online business so rent and bills wouldn't ever be an issue.
Hi there. I am 33 year old girl looking for teaming up/sharing a house. I'd prefer inner subborbs, maybe closer to airport but not a condition as I have a car. I like to think i'm a fun and nice person. Love to have clean place, cooking, listening to music... Moving date asap . Contact me for more details. :)
Hey all! Looking for a place to stay as I have relocated to Melbourne for work. Very house trained. I find cleaning up therapeutic. Will respect everyone's space but just as keen for a chat and a bit of banter. Am a very active individual; gym and spending my weekends away surfing. Looking for a place with good company in the Melbourne west for easy commute to work. I am a 'more home than just a house' type of person. Also am a physiotherapist so you may end up a guinea pig at some point :D
Hey potential flat mates im looking for another couple of people who want to start a lease together. Im hoping to make our house into a home together. Not a party house but a social house where we will also get our own time to ourselves. I work full time as a forklift driver during the week and go to the gym. Im very clean and tidy. Ive travelled a bit and will be travelling more in the future and also like to go camping. I like going to the pub and live gigs. I have a male desexed staffy that is very friendly and very well socialized. His lived with other dogs all his life. Preferably looking for people who work full time
I work Monday to Saturday 6.30am to 4.30pm, like to chill with Netflix or FIFA in the evenings, I cook, pretty healthy during the week, weekend comes and you probably won't see me unless I'm just at home vegging out on the couch. Interests include, sports, techno, cooking, adventure holidays, music festivals, tv series junkie.. I really like to keep a clean house, nothing OTT but clean kitchen and bathrooms are a must. Also I've been in Australia since 2011, (Irish) have a car(so parking is important, I also have a trailer(if there was room for that would be great but not super important) Anything else you wanna know just ask..
I like to think I'd be pretty easy to live with, I like to keep to my self most of the time but I can be very social and friendly, I do not smoke cigarettes and don't have any issues with those who do, I'm a social drinker/dont drink too often, most of the time after work I settle for a coffee and that usually keeps me happy for the rest of the night haha. I work in Landscape Construction full time, have been for a few years now so Tradie by day, and I like to jump on my PC or Xbox and play a few games, Play the guitar or just watch movies and series for the rest of the night haha. I'm pretty clean, I make an active effort to do my best and keep things tidy, Clutter makes me grumpy so I usually don't let it get out of hand. I'm looking for a house that can accommodate myself and have space for my partner to visit. My partner would only be over on weekends as she is studying and not able to move with me but would still be happy to chip in for any food or utilities she may use. Been living at home until now, this will be the first time moving out of home, and I want to keep living costs at a minimum to maximise saving for holidays and a future home :)
Hello! I'm currently looking for an established sharehouse or also keen to chat to anyone looking to start up a new and shiny sharehouse. I'm 27 working full time in Residential construction in Port Melbourne - I work a fair bit and am looking to come home to crack open the red wine in a social house. Down for a chat, couch hang, dinner, cheese platter or bike ride, though I also enjoy my own space where I can watch lame TV shows and listen to my tunes. I'm a clean and super considerate housemate and have been sharing for a million years. I play guitar at times at considerate hours, bit of a reader coffee in hand, bike rider, adventurer, generally outdoor anything, movie maker and I love meeting new people! Text me a bit about yourself and I'll come back as soon as I can! :)
A cute/queer artsy muso type looking for a new home. Currently working a bunch, cooking a bunch, and playing a bunch of music (usually within reasonable hours), while on break from studying. Very into books, art, 80s synth pop, cheap red wine, and cheese. Looking to live in a warm, trans friendly, generally communicative household with people keen to talk politics and B-grade tv-shows over the occasional dinner. Make a mean pasta sauce.
I'm a brasilian girl, very clean and very friendly. Love playing games (pc and console), listening to music, watching series and cooking new recipes. I can teach how to say bad words in portuguese cause is very funny xD
