Hey, we're Victoria and Sumaid... a young couple looking for a place to stay. I (Victoria) am 25, originally from the UK and been living in Melbourne for the last 6 years. I work full time as a debt collection call centre team leader which makes me sound a lot scarier than I am... I promise I'm a nice person :) I am bubbly, outgoing and quite sociable however I appreciate my own space and privacy. I'm a clean, tidy and hygienic person to live with who is happy to help with shared cooking if desired. I like my life to be filled with laughter, conversations to be filled with real stuff and my company to enjoy the same. Sumaid is 24, originally from Pakistan and also been living in Melbourne for the last 6 years. Sumaid works full time in an Italian restaurant in the city. He is also an outgoing, sociable person that enjoys getting outdoors and experiencing everything the western world has to offer! We met here in Melbourne through a mutual friend back in December 2016 and have been dating ever since. We are looking for a room that would be big enough for two; furnished or unfurnished. We would ideally like to pay no more than $300 per week altogether ($150 pp, pw) with minimum bond if possible as we are currently paying off debts and saving to travel next year. We would be happy to pay full months worth of bond if able to be paid in two installments :) If you have anything suitable or are willing to negotiate, please get in contact. We will be happy to meet and see if we all gel with one another (errrr, I hate that saying). Thanks for reading! Vic

Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 20 and I just finished my Bachelor of music and I have a part time job. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 1 year old cat, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)
Im a 25 year old tradie that works roughly 7-4 and keeps very active so out of the house a lot. I’ve lived in share houses since I was 18 so well versed in the cleaning up after myself and being a top housemate. During the week I’m pretty quiet with the occasional dinner but mostly a stiff and on the weekend just trying to explore Melbourne and see anything and everything that pops up from gigs to markets and events. I’m looking for a place asap and just want to live with some good people not too fussy about the room or house.
Hello, I am looking for a place to stay, short term or long term in the Melbourne area, and also looking for work as well in the electronics industry. Thank you, Peter
Thank you to anyone who contacted me, I have found my housemates! All the best. /// I have a respectable nature. I like to tidy up after myself. I enjoy socialising with my housemates. I also like my own company enough where I won’t annoy you every day. I work full time so I need to get to bed reasonably early 9:30-10... Some interests and hobbies of mine are: yoga, acoustic guitar, sewing, art. My job is in IT support. Thanks for taking time to read my profile. Please get in contact if you have any questions.
We are a young couple both working full time (caitlin - a teacher, James - physical performance coach) who enjoy making new friends, trying new and different experiences and keeping healthy and active. We are both respectful of other people and very easy going. We have experience living with others and have traveled extensively in a variety of accommodations so we are very adaptable and lots of fun. We will assist with any cleaning or house maintenance as we value a clean loving environment.
My name is Anthony Daw, I'm a 22 year old that is looking to move out. I recently lived in Flemington for 2 years and just recently moved back to Werribee but looking to move closer to the city. I'm a former uni student that is now working full time in construction and also working as a Diversity and Inclusion Officer for the Huddle (North Melbourne Football Club, AFL) on the side. I'm an easy going person who enjoys a great chat, I'm respectful and we'll mannered. I'm very tidy and clean not just for my space but the whole house. I play football to keep fit and active as a hobby.
We are a chilled bunch, like to get out and about on weekends and like a good Friday after work drink. We all really enjoy cooking and chatting over a nice wine. Monday to Thursday we like to relax and also all have our own activities we enjoy. Not looking for a party house just somewhere comfortable we can relax in. We also have a cute 2 year old french bulldog named Pedro who thinks (pretty much is) one of us.

Gothic, Philanthropic, cosplayer seeking a room within a friendly yet independent home. I work Monday to Friday, with early starts, so looking for respectful housemates in a non-party house. Shared meals/coffee & chat a bonus. Not one for chore-rosters, just see something needs attention and get it sorted. Fur-babies/Pets are OK, likewise signing on to a lease. If you smoke, I'd would prefer if it was done outside. As a motorcycle rider, a place to park my ride is always appreciated. Bonus if there's space to set up a workbench Long term options preferred.
Hello! We’re a couple in our late 20s (28 & 29) from Ireland and Canada moving to Melbourne for one year. Morva is looking to find administrative work at a University so she will have a more stable 9-5 schedule. James is pursuing a career in Strength and Conditioning so his schedule will revolve around the teams he is working with. We’ve spent the last 2 years living with a few friends in Galway, Ireland. We’re fun, easy going and value tidiness but we’re not neat freaks either. We can keep to ourselves but also like to enjoy a glass (or 3..) of wine and some laughs. We’ve already had our crazy early twenties and we’re now looking to find nice, neat housemates who are pursuing their careers but still enjoy letting their hair down every once in a while.
Hi there :) Looking to move as soon as possible! We are Emma and John, young(ish) Scottish couple looking for a place to live until the end of July. The only reason we won't commit to longer than that at the moment is down to the fact that sponsorship might take a while and we might have to go off and do regional work at the end of July/start of August. We are here on a WHV, but aiming for permanent residency. John is a sound technician and I am currently temping in office and looking for permanaent work, I have a human rights degree and experience in events. Ideally I'll be working in the not for profit sector. (We do have savings and John is working so please don't let my temping put you off). John usually works long days (sometimes 10 hours +) and occasionally is working away on a big on tours for a few weeks at a time! We are looking for either flat/house share, a studio, or 1 bed - we really aren't too fussy! Trying to save where we can so $350 all in would be max :) We are currently in Yarraville and are quite fond of the west! So it'd be a bonus if you were around that area. We are clean and neat, non-smokers and aren't big party animals. So whilst we are looking for somewhere fun and relaxed, we'd prefer not to live in a party house. We would also prefer something either furnished or part furnished, we do have a some savings so paying for some things won't be an issue, we'd just prefer to save where we can... (visas ain't cheap). Easy train access to the city is a must, the ability to decipher a Scottish accent is a bonus! :) Let us know if you need any more info. Thanks
I am an easy going and down to earth kind of chick - I work full time with a range of different hours per rostered month. I am looking for somewhere closer to Melbourne City as I work in Southbank and would really like to cut my commute down from 50 minutes each way! I love music, animals and enjoy a lot of quiet time (just time to myself!) and also going out with my friends, as my job is full on. I have two rabbits who both have their own hutches and would need some type of backyard (if possible) One of my rabbits is indoors but she is small and quite social and relaxed. I'm looking for like-minded adults who don't mind not seeing their flatmate constantly and who is able to accept two beautiful bunnies (they really are quite sweet and you would not need to care for them in any way at all.) I love to cook, bake, chill with a drink or two and love a good conversation. I'm quite flexible when it comes to arrangements and have my own furniture for a bedroom. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send a message. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi I’m Mel! I’m a professional working full time in the city. I’m looking for somewhere nice and close to the city. I’m very neat and tidy and respectful of other people. I enjoy getting outdoors and exploring new places but also enjoy a quiet night in. I can be found baking, outdoors or hanging out at the gym in my spare time. I’m reliable and easy going and enjoy being around other people. I am looking for a private room somewhere near the city and close to a train line. (Please note that I am not a drug person and would best suit a drug-free household) If you think I would suit your household please message me :)
Hey! I'm a very easy going and chilled out guy from a small town in North Eat Victoria wanting to move down to Melbourne. I currently work as a cleaner will be on the hunt as soon as I move. I spend a lot of time on my own but of course enjoy company. Although I lack in cooking skills I make up for them by enjoying cleaning and don't find it a task at all. I enjoy the casual drink and having a good time with friends while keeping respectful. I will be bringing my large/anxious/incredibly sweet American bulldog with me too, as she is the absolute love of my life! She is a 'sleep in my bed' type of dog but is 100% house trained and will hang out and give you kisses while I'm not home. So a yard is necessary. So honestly the only requirement I have for a housemate is for them to be kind and love her. EDIT: Two friends (one is moving at a later date) and a cat have joined in on this hunt! Can move from mid March onwards. Would love another person to join :)
ABOUT ME I'm 25 years old and work full time as a Social Worker with DHHS. This generally keeps me pretty busy during the week and I prefer quiet evenings on week days as a result. On weekends (and sometimes fridays, if I can get away from work on time!) I'm a social person, enjoying a good chat and a glass of red with housemates, catching up with friends and the occasional BBQ or house gathering (but nothing too hectic!). I also like bike riding, hiking, camping, scuba diving and the beach. I'm pretty easy going and straight forward. I'd like to live with similar, like-minded people who don't mind a couple of dogs moving in as well. P.s. - I come with Nextflix and a yearly Costco membership. THE DOGS I have 2 dogs - Vespa and Nox (featured in profile picture) - both girls. They are both purebred boxers whom I compete regularly with in obedience and confirmation showing. Both dogs are fully house and crate trained, they don't bark unless there is need (or, occasionally, when they play). Vespa and Nox are very affectionate, friendly and enjoy the company of people. Nox loves playing fetch with a frisbee and Vespa would play tug-o-war all day, if she could! Both girls also love a good cuddle and will happily Netflix and chill all day. Vespa and Nox generally spend their days in the yard, but I tend to have them inside with me when I'm home. They are walked/trained for 30mins every morning and on weekends I generally take them on adventures with me.
Hey there, I'm Jess. I'm a friendly, down to earth woman, I'm very social although also enjoy my own company. I'm currently working full time and studying paramedics. As a housemate I'm tidy and respectful. I'm always up for a meal, a beverage (or two) or just a chat at the end of the day. During my free time I enjoy listening to music, catching up with friends, gym, gigs, reading and making things with my hands whether its cooking, sewing or art. Look forward to chatting with you soon!
