Hello There, My flatmate (22) and I (21) are looking for someone to share our flat with. One of us works full time and the other one is a student at Griffith University. The unit is fairly spacious. It has one bathroom and two toilets (one upstairs and one downstairs). The rooms have built-in wardrobes. The living room is furnished with a couch as well as a chest of drawers. There's also a fridge as well as a clothes' dryer. The complex also has a swimming pool. The rent includes the water bills - All the other bills would be evenly distributed among the flatmates. We are both very friendly and welcoming. Recently got this property on lease and are now looking for someone to enter the same. If any of this seems interesting enough, drop me a message and we can schedule a visit then. Looking forward to hearing from our future flatmate then :)
I am on here as I’m just seeing what’s available around, but will not be moving until the beginning of February (possible end of January, depending) as my lease doesn’t run out until Feb. I am clean, tidy, reliable and always pay my bills on time. I’m a talker, but don’t mind if you tell me to stop talking - I also like my alone time. I’m really looking more for a space of my own so I am not getting in anyone’s way and I can just enjoy the experience of living “on my own”. But I definitely don’t mind hanging out as well, if you’re up for it!
I'll be studying full time at Griffith University in 2020 while my husband works in between Toowoomba, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. It will mostly be me during the week with hubby staying when he works in Brisbane. To get to uni each day I'll be leaving early and getting home at variable hours depending on my uni schedule. As hubby is a cabinet maker/installer he typically has early starts and leaves on sun-up most days. We are quiet, non-smokers', health conscious people who won't be home much during the day. I enjoy cooking so would be in the kitchen on and off during the week for meal prep. We have two cocker Spaniels, Little Miss and Snoop Dog who love nothing more than to hang out and get puppy cuddles. They are outside dogs, though Little Miss is going blind in her old age and is starting to need to sleep indoors a little more as her sight fails her.
Hey guys! I’m an easy going person who likes to socialise but also likes my own space so prefer a house/townhouse. I study full time and work as well so am in and out of home. Looking to go into a team up as I have furniture to fit a house and all that fun stuff. I’m open to a room in a share house as well but with flexible stay time where I can hopefully take all my household belongings as I’m looking to avoid paying storage and preferably not looking to sign a 12 month lease right now. I’m looking for the right fit and in no hurry but can move straight away if and when found, enjoy no/low drama and chill environment to live in.
Hi!! Well, I'm a happy, easy going person, who likes everyone to be happy, unfortunately a trait that has been taken advantage of in the past, but I guess that is the way it goes. My son and I are actually originally from Victoria...we are still very new up here, don't know anyone really, and desperately need an affordable place we can call home. And don't worry, my son isn't one of those really loud obnoxious kids either, he is very settled, mature and really easy to be honest. I am lucky, I work totally offsite, and my son goes to Woodridge State Primary school. We are both quiet, pretty chilled out people, who get along with any and everybody. I am not a judgemental person, I have been a teacher and then became a fully qualified therapist/counsellor...although, anyone that meets me is usually surprised by this lol I'm yet to figure out exactly why this is ...I think it is because as I said I don't judge anyone, each to their own, and all I ask in return is to be treated the same way. You would be doing a huge favour for us, if you were able to help us out, and I would be forever indebted to you. So, what I am hoping for , although beggars cant be choosers, so please if you have anything that you think might work please let me know, but otherwise, a place were ideally my son and I could have a room each? a bathroom, a place to prepare meals etc...Obviously one where its quiet enough that my son can go to bed at 7.30 every night and not have loud music to compete with etc...I will share a room with my son if I have to, but being that he is 7 nearly 8 he is quickly approaching that stage where it just wont work.. But anything is better than nothing and once we're in I can always figure out the next step.
Currently working as a Marketing Coordinator, studying a masters part time and working on a casual basis as a Chiropractic Assistant on Saturdays. I’m super laid back, not home too often (I work 45+ hour weeks), relaxed and looking for likeminded flatmates. Own bathroom preferred but open to sharing for the right listing.
