Large spacious room in a modern two level apartment, a large living area with balcony, great modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, large fridge, dishwasher and nespresso machine, also internal laundry. Flatty will have all of the upstairs with own private bathroom. Unit is opposite a train station, bus station outside the front door, right next to a range of great pubs, cafes and restaurants in Newtown. Erskineville and Alexandria are also a short walk away.
We have two rooms available to rent in our terrace in Erskineville. We are splitting our time between properties, with approx 2 days spent here, so the house will be empty most of the time. We would ideally like to offer the rooms to a single mum or female needing an extra room for work etc. Female SS couple welcome, but otherwise, no couples. We have 2 kids ourselves and feel these would be the best fit for us. Ideally the space would be rented out to one family/person rather than multiple. The house: - 4.5 bedroom terrace - Amazing backyard at the back - Small courtyard midway - 2 large bedrooms downstairs available (unfurnished) - Living/dining downstairs that is all yours (unfurnished) - Kitchen with dishwasher - Full bathroom with bath upstairs - Toilet downstairs - Laundry, washing machine and dryer - Looking to fill the space in April - $520/w plus bills for both rooms combined - We would occupy the 2.5 bedrooms upstairs - 3 min walks to St. Peter’s station, 7 to Newtown and Erskineville stations, 370 and 422 stop across the road, 352 5 min walk
Hi there, Our housemate is moving out of our beautiful house in Newtown so we are looking for new housemate (no couple sorry) to move in with us. The house is really spacious and has a courtyard and a garage. The location is great with King St eateries, transport to the City and Sydney Park just footsteps away. There are four bedrooms, three bathrooms, 2 living rooms, and a spacious garden/courtyard with BBQ so plenty of space for everybody. I am 27 and working full time for Airbnb. The other housemates are an IT consultant, a barrista/teacher from France and a doctor from the Netherlands, all in their early thirties. We also have a lovely cat called Gaspard. We are looking for a friendly and trustworthy person that would like to call our home their "home". We enjoy having a drink after work and invite friends on the weekend, however this is not a party house and we would like people with the same lifestyle as us “ ideally professional in their late-twenties/early thirties and of course cat-friendly :) The bedrooms is spacious and furnished and the bathroom would be shared with only 1 other person. Please get in touch so that we can organize some time to show you the place and get to know each other! Cheers! Pauline
Private room with en-suite bathroom available in a freshly renovated terrace, conveniently located near transport, cafes, and shops. Internet and all bills included with the rent. Some of the photos shown are taken during the renovation. The current house is now complete and ready to live in.
Come and live with Miles, me and Pixie the cat in our awesome, cozy house in Newtown! We’re the right match for you if you are: - a girl between 25 -35 who’s looking for a room to move in on the 12th of March - an awesome person who wants to live with housemates who love to hang out with each other, go to all the good gigs Sydney has to offer, enjoy having a couple of adult beverages together but also enjoy their quiet time once in a while - happy to pay $280 a week (incl. internet, excl. bills)
One fully furnished room in a Lovely 2 bedroom terrace house that is close to Saint Peters Station, Marrickville Metro Shopping Centre and King St shops & cafes. The bedroom is large and has one queen size bed, built in wardrobe, tall boy and computer desk. Heater can be provided if necessary and high speed internet is available. The room is $350pw (couples are $360pw) plus bills (approximately $45pw), 2 weeks bond and 2 weeks departure notice required. You will be living with a 45 year old male professional who enjoys a quiet house but does not mind the occasional dinner party. I keep my house clean and tidy and I expect you to as well. There is a lounge room and separate dining room, modern kitchen with a new gas stove, new fridge and new dishwasher. The kitchen contains toaster, jaffle iron and plenty of pots, pans and cutlery. The kitchen leads out onto covered decking with BBQ, table and chairs overlooking a lovely backyard with lots of trees and shrubs. There is a second toilet off the covered decking. The bathroom is modern with tiled floors and walls and has a powerful shower over the bath. There is a modern clothes washer and dryer.
Great apartment in a small block, conveniently situated on Princes Highway and on the back of Sydney Park. St Peters train station and Newtown is just 7 minutes walking distance, bus stop just across the street and right in front of our building door. Ikea, Decathlon, Marrickville Shopping Centre all minutes away if you drive or 20-25 minutes walking The room for rent is a large room with built in wardrobes and en-suite, it is not furnished but easily fits queen bed, desk and bedside tables. It is a very quite place even though we are right next to the street, also windows are double glazed and you won’t be disturbed by street or plane noise. Some of the furniture it's going to be gone, so if you happen to have an extra couch, sofa and dinning table, you can bring it in. There is also a parking space available. The bedroom is going to be available this early March and the rent is paid monthly. By March is going to be NBN limitless ready and both Netflix and Stan are included in the data usage, so you can binge shows and movies without consuming any data. Couples are welcome as well, but the price would be $480 for both

I'm from Mexico and this year I will start studying here in Sydney, I can cook mexican food to share! I'm an industrial designer and a carpenter and I can build stuff for the house :) I like to have order in my room and I like clean spaces.
I am a mature 24 year old young professional originally from Scotland and have lived in Sydney for almost 3 years now. I work in sales in the financial services industry and I'm career focused therefore during the week I usually work until 6ish then go to the gym. Boring bit out of the way... I play in a football (soccer) team, I'm a sociable guy and I would say I am easy going with a decent (although sometimes dark) sense of humour. I wouldn't say I have OCD when it comes to cleaning but I can't handle living in a dirty place. If keeping the place clean isn't of great importance then it probably wouldn't work. I'm more than happy to chip in and/or pay for a cleaner. If you have decent banter, like to socialise at weekends and are easy going then we will get along. Probably looking to share with people older than myself and not with students/backpackers. My lease runs out in Feb so would be looking to move in later this month and can start viewing places asap. I think its always a good idea to grab a drink for a chat somewhere as well if you're up for that!
I am English, 43 years old and been living over here for 16 years or so. I am a relaxed, easy going and a clean and tidy person. I love socialising with friends, but also happy to chill out at home. I am looking for a home, not just a room to rent, so would like to share with someone who would like to occasionally socialise, share a glass of wine, but also be able to respect each others privacy.
Hi! We're a friendly couple looking to find some like-minded folks to share an abode with in the near future. Nicola is a Phd student at USYD, and Alex works full-time as a social sustainability consultant. We're both pretty left leaning and love to get out into nature - Alex is a keen longboarder and Nic would happily hike/camp/canyon every weekend if she could. In terms of housemates, we're after friendly and respectful people who are easy to get along with and like to keep the place relatively clean (bonus points if you're up for the occasional pub trivia night). Pls get in touch if you're keen to chat further :)
Hi! My name is Talvi and I'm looking for a room for myself, for a long term stay of 6 months or more. I'm 32 and I work for a small business making custom curtains and blinds. Currently I'm living in Homebush West, where I've been renting for about 1.5 years now with a lovely couple who are sadly moving overseas in a few months time. A quiet and relaxed household is what I'm seeking, without constant parties etc - but I like to have a friend over for dinner occasionally on weekends. I'm a pretty friendly, gentle and chatty person, happy to hang out with housemates, or do my own thing. I like to keep my living space clean and tidy, and always help to keep shared areas in the same condition. I'm not a smoker, and don't have any pets. I'm a bit of a geek and enjoy computers and gaming, and love my sci-fi TV shows - but I'm quiet and always enjoy these with headphones! On work nights I'm pretty chilled, on weekends I'm usually out with friends - I'm also open to sharing a meal and a drink with housemates too. For inspections I can make evenings from Monday to Thursday after I finish work, or anytime of the day or evening on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. If we met for an inspection and found things agreeable I'm also prepared to immediately transfer a bond or security payment, and advance rent as required. My maximum budget including bills is $250 pw.
Hi, I'm from Adelaide and currently polishing of my thesis before starting work as a consultant in late February. I'm moving over the 17th of Feb and have a couple weeks of temporary accommodation lined up so I can be flexible with moving dates etc. I've lived in shared places before and really enjoy the social aspect with occasional meals and a few drinks on the weekend etc, but I understand that everyone needs their own space from time to time. I'm a tidy person (but not over the top) and intend to bring that to any place I move into. Really keen to meet some interesting people and share a few laughs!
Hi My name is Rob :) I'm a full time landscaper, I'm up around 530 in the morning Monday - Friday. I'm into my gym and fitness through out the week after work. I love a few beers on the weekend. I like to have a chat and think of myself as easy going and open minded. I'm looking for a place with like minded people/person with Sorta similar interests. I'm pretty good at keeping my belongs and the house tidy. I'm looking for a room because I'm trying to save a bit more cash and enjoy company of others . I have references on request for any other information you may like to know. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile
Hello. I'm an easy-going 46 year old looking to share a place in Sydney, where I'll be moving from Melbourne for work on 22 March. I'm fairly flexible with location but keen to live near a train station. Ideally not too far from the city. I am keen to meet up with someone to set up a new property, or move into a partly furnished place. I'm clean and responsible, young at heart, love a drink and a laugh and looking for a friendly, relaxed person to share a place with. I'm respectful of other people and easy to live with. I'm looking to live with someone aged in their late 40's or early 50's who is gainfully employed to either move into a new place or share an existing property. Apart from my bedroom furniture, I do own general household furniture including a fold-up table, bookshelf, coffee table, tv etc While I'm happy to sell off some other furniture, I do own a few things, so if you have a fully furnished unit and/or are not willing to allow someone to truly "share" a space and bring furniture into it, then it's not for me. Otherwise, if this sounds like you it would be great to hear from you.
We are graduate students and close friends, nice to meet you!. We are looking for a home better close to the rail station. Have an car garage.
We are both passionate young queer students involved in a lot of lefty activism in sydney! We enjoy gardening and cooking, going to rallies, as well as having a couple of beers and laughs of an evening. We both have good vibes and love to have fun, so don’t expect this to be a party free house, but we keep to ourselves pretty well and try to keep ourselves in sync to what our other housemates want, so you won’t see us unless you want to (which hopefully you will!). Mostly looking for a third person to rent a three bedder with, so if you are queer friendly and party friendly, hit us up 💞
I'm 27 and a working professional moving to Sydney from Perth. I am looking for a place to call home for the next year or so while I work full time in science outreach education. I am bringing my car for work, so some sort of reliable parking is a must. I am a social person looking to make some new friends in Sydney, but I am not looking for a party house. I love to cook and a glass or few of wine and a chat in the evening. I also love staying fit and healthy to support my food and wine habits at local bars and restaurants. I love animals (if you have them) and am clean, tidy and respectful of other people's space. My ideal budget is $200 per week but it can be stretched to $250 for the right place. If I sound like the housemate for you, I'd love to come for an inspection to see the place and meet you all. Thanks! Please no room shares, only private rooms.
I'm a 25 year old Sydney local working full-time at an architecture studio in Surry Hills. I spend my free time sketching, reading, catching up with friends and playing sport (basketball, martial arts, rock climbing and swimming). I'm easy going, clean and social. I like discovering new restaurants and cafes but I also enjoy cooking at home (I eat meat but also love cooking the occasional vegetarian dish). I'm very open minded and love meeting new people. Looking for a friendly house with cool room mates. I work through the week so most nights I'm happy to chill out with a book but I don't mind the occasional social outing or house party :)
I am a neat freak. I can be a fun person to live with. I go to gym 3 days a week and work 4 days. I alsonattend university once a week. For fun I like to go out on weekends to partay! I also enjoy beach times.
A couple relocating to Sydney for work and study. Alicia is a marketing professional working in tertiary education and Lewis is studying IT. We are very easy going and neat and tidy. We love wine, food and board games and are keen to make friends with the people we live with. We are very busy with work and study so at times will keep to ourselves.
I'm a full time fourth year Secondary Education and Arts student at USYD. I'm a country kid originally (from rural NSW). I am neat and am good at keeping my stuff confined to a small area and am respectful of other peoples belongings. Although I am generally quiet I love to have a good chat with people about almost anything. I love books, movies, Netflix and doggos (although sadly I don't own a dog at the moment). I love staying at home and binge watching David Attenborough as much as a trivia night at the local pub (I have an encyclopaedic knowledge of harry potter and also know a lot of useless movie and tv show trivia). I cook pretty good poached eggs if that floats your boat, an alright risotto and average ANZAC bikkies. I'm not a big party person but enjoy unwinding over a couple of ciders on the weekend :)
