*** One room still available for a short term let from now until the end of January *** Three large furnished bedrooms for single occupancy only, with a newly installed kitchen and bathroom. There is the benefit of a communal living area with tv. Internet will be installed by 1 Feb. The house is located opposite Stanmore station - a two minute walk to the platform. Stanmore is ideally located 4 stops from Central and the train also goes out to Parramatta. We have the 412 bus that departs from the station taking you directly to USYD, UTS and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. You can walk to Parramatta road for plenty of other bus options. This is the perfect spot for students, nurses and anyone that is new to Sydney looking to be located close to the city and the vibrant areas of Newtown, Glebe, Leichhardt, Marrickville, Petersham and Annandale. There are plenty of great food options nearby, we even have five local cafes within 200m serving great coffee and brunch. If you're into yoga there is Yoga-to-go up the road and plenty of options in Newtown, we even have a pole dance studio walking distance from the house! Please be aware, Stanmore is on the flight path and this house is opposite the train station. It is not the quietest suburb of Sydney however the convenience makes up for that. The front section where you will be living is self-contained, and very much separate to my living quarters at the back of the house.
I'm a veterinary student from Stockholm, Sweden. I am currently in my final year of university and will be doing some rotations at the uni teaching hospital starting January. I love animals, cooking, exercise, studying and getting to know new people from all around the world and of different ages. I've previously lived with a homestay family, in a flat by myself and in a share-house. If you think we might be a match then I look forward to talking to you and getting to know you more! Cheers
Felipe, 31, Male Full time Graphic Designer; Looking forward for a clean, and nice single place which I could call home. Responsible, easy going, clean & pet friendly. I am open to share/cook the occasional meal, have a conversation, or share a good beer once in a while. Pay rent and bills on time Feel free to send me a buzz anytime
I'm an art and design high school teacher by trade and serial hobbyist by night. I dabble in woodwork and printing on the side. I've had my fair share of house sharing days and am ready to start my quiet own little nook to call home with a reliable good human-to-be-friend. I'm very into communal work spaces within the house, a clean living space and a good kitchen for cheeky cook ups. I'd ideally like to find a smallish house in a leafy area with 1 or 2 others in early 2019 (dates flexible). Hit me up if this sounds like your jam!
I’m a 24 year old British bartender currently working in Marrickville. I’ve been living in Australia for just over a year and a half, with most of that time being spent in Sydney. I like to have a few drinks after work to unwind, but I definitely relax better at home with a good book or a Netflix binge. I’m looking for a place to hang my hat for the next 6 months, somewhere with good WiFi and great company. Hopefully, I find my perfect match 🏡
Laid-back, chilled and very open. I pride myself on understanding and knowing people, and being friendly. I have a passion for music, writing and video games. Love a kick-back with a couple drinks with friends, but am a fairly quiet keep-to-myself type as well.
Hey there, Lucie and I are currently flat mates looking to move around Newtown. We work full time and love our own space. But we also love a good after work movie or a cheeky wine and cheese night, sangria is our specialty. We’re like to keep the house tidy and equally pitch in! X
I'm from Brazil and I've been in Australia for 6 month now. I'm studying Leadership and Management 2 days a week in the city and I work full time as a driver delivering supplies for a tiler. I'm a peaceful, respectful and very tidy person. I like yoga, meditation and I don't eat meat. I like beaches, camping and all outdoor stuff. I like exercising and i go to the gym at least 4 days a weak. I'm looking for a clean and organised place that I can share with good people.
I'm looking to start a new share house or jump on a new lease with people who've already found a place. I've got a friend moving back to England who's going to sell me her fridge, very nice new sofas etc (there's a bed too if anyone needs one!) and so I've switched to looking for a new place that I can fill with artwork and plants and call home in the long term. I'm looking for a place in the Camperdown/Newtown/Stanmore/Enmore area for a two or three bedroom house or apartment. My budget ranges from $250-$300 depending on the right place and people. Happy to live with couples too if enough bathrooms but would want that to be a three bedroom place so not third wheeling. Originally from the UK, I'm moving to Sydney after five brilliant years in Brisbane. I am easy-going, creative, love my music and really looking forward to getting involved in what Sydney has to offer once I start my new job at USyd in Autism and Mental Health research. I like to live with people who all put together to make a happy household and share in the cleaning, the occasional meal or drinks together as well as sitting down to watch a good TV show or movie at the end of a long day every so often. Looking to live with people who eventually become friends. I'm considering getting my own old rescue cat or dog or would love if you have one too.
I’m very much a creative person, I love music, art, film and theatre. I play gigs when I can but I work as a barista to pay the bills. If ur looking for someone relaxed and friendly who isn’t afraid of washing dishes - I’m ur girl
Hello! We're a couple of sisters from Colombia. We're in Sydney 3 months ago and looking for a good room for us, also good flatmates very clean and tidy. We're very happy, clean and tidy girls. We're studying English. My sister is a chef and she works in a restaurant in Newtown. I'm an accountant in Colombia. In Australia I'm working in the City in a restaurant. In our free time we enjoy going to the beach and gym, watching TV, reading or going to the city to walk. We hope to hear from you.
Hey :) My name is Luisa, I'm from Germany and I'll be doing an internship in Sydney for 5 months starting in the middle of January. In Germany I've lived in a shared flat for the last three years and I really enjoyed it, which is why I am now looking for a shared flat for my time in Sydney as well. I'm straightforward and reliable. I like to laugh and I'm looking for flatmates who like to hang out from time to time and chat about the day or go out for a drink. I'll be in Sydney from the 22nd of December on so we can meet for a coffee and get to know each other. I'm looking forward to meeting you! :) Luisa
Hi there, My name is Gabe, I am a 29 year old, working full time in Woollahra. I have been living in sharehouse for two years and now my housemates are moving oversees, so I'm looking for somewhere new in the inner west to call home. I am quiet, clean and respectful of other people's space, but also happy to hang with housemates/ have a chat over a beverage. I enjoy being active with gym, soccer, yoga, tennis. I like going for coffees and dinners with mates, spending time with family, & occasionally binging on netflix.😁 Looking to move in with like minded people in their 20s. I’m going away during the Christmas holidays, so I am looking for a room to move into after mid January. Keen to hear from you : )
I’m nurse working shifts so I’m in and out a bit. I like a clean house tidy house but I’m not fanatical about it. Houses get messy sometimes. That’s what they do. I’m easy going with a healthy sense of humour I also like to cook
I’m a psychology student looking for friendly housemates. I’m a homebody and I like my space to be clean and tidy, so I am looking for others who also like to keep things tidy. I tend not to have wild nights out and prefer just hanging out and having a drink or two. I also need a parking spot (either off street or on street if street parking is always available). I love animals, I enjoy relaxing at home with housemates and going on adventures together every now and again. I also love cooking meals together. Shoot me a message if you think we’d get on. :) I’m looking for a place from early Feb 2019 - bonus points if public transport to Sydney uni is convenient!
