Hey we are an easy going and friendly couple from the UK & Ireland here on our working holiday visa. The past 1.5 years we have been travelling around Australia & Asia. We will be in Sydney for the next year working and want to experience what this amazing city has to offer. I currently work as an EA for the University of Technology and my boyfriend works in construction. I love cooking/eating out and spending evenings sitting, chatting with a glass of wine, and who doesn't love to party (occasionally) He likes sports, fitness and beers. We both have a super love of festivals, the beach and travelling, and i love the whole buddhism/hindu vibe :) We want to be in a social house as we want to make new forever friends ☺.
I like to think of myself as respectful, helpful, friendly, easy going, easy to have a laugh with
Hey! I'm Michael, 27, and work full-time as an editor for a production company that makes TVCs and film trailers for various clients. I work from 10-6.30, so I'd be on a slightly different schedule than the norm. In terms of my personality, I'm very easy going/easy to talk to, and I respect other people's space. At the same time, I love getting out and discovering new places like quirky small bars or cafes. Being in production I love the arts - especially films, and I also try to get out and enjoy live music when I can. I'm looking to find some good-natured, like-minded people to share a home with.
I am currently working full time as an interior/graphic designer at a firm in Redfern, and Georgia works full time in PR/marketing at a men's fashion company in Botany. We're both pretty chilled, approachable and friendly and looking for a place we can settle into long term. We have lived together in a share house previously and we are tidy and responsible; good to have a glass of wine with but also respectful of personal space. Ideally we're looking for likeminded creativeish people to create a home with! We're looking to either team up with people to go in on a lease with us, or to find an existing share house with two free rooms to be filled. Both of our max budgets are $230/week. Happy to team up with couples also! If you're interested contact me! Thanks Em
Hey, my names Jei am a full time professional, looking for somewhere in the inner west area or close to. Pretty busy with work during the week and weekends, so not after a party house. Though i'm always up for a beer/bbq/whatever, would like a place with similar aged prefessionals. Clean, tidy, sociable and pay bills on time!
Bonded by the love towards this beautiful country, we are looking for a place to call our own. I work for the Commonwealth Bank and my girlfriend has just finished her work for her second year visa and is moving to Sydney. We love the outdoors, adventures and travelling. We like to interact with people and are respectful towards everyone. Thank you.

A bit nerdy 3) Very tidy and clean, not a bad cook either 4) Love sports, playing sport, watching sport. 5)Very humble and friendly I am looking for either a room with my own bathroom or team mates to team up so that we can find a place to share together. It would be lovely to find like minded people who share the same values and this would be great as we can help each other grow
We're two fun, considerate friends from London looking for a place to call home. Lucy is a nurse working in Strathfield and I work in the Not For Profit sector. We both enjoy cooking, meeting new people, drinking mugs of tea, hiking, swimming and chilling on the beach and a glass of wine every now and then!
Hi, I'm Alex. I am quiet, easy going, reliable, clean and well organized person who enjoys cooking, skating and keeping fit in the gym. I currently live in Northern NSW and will be commuting to Sydney for work, and working a rotating 24 hour roster as a Health Professional then flying home for days off with my family. So I will only be there half of the week. I am preferably looking for a furnished place, including bills, but its not a requirement. Have a great day :)
I'm from China, currently a post-graduate student in University of Sydney. I am looking for a single room and would like to move in on 29th Oct. I'm pretty sociable and enjoy going out with friends but equally enjoy reading in sofa, I am also into yoga, travelling and cycling.
Clean and tidy Primary School Teacher. I will be either teaching casual or full-time in the new year, and over the Christmas break I will be nannying/ babysitting. I appreciate my quiet time but I also love a chat. I love reading, art and chilling out watching a movie. I have a very loved and spoilt lop ear bunny rabbit, she is in a cage up off the ground, very clean and she is also toilet trained to go in a litter tray (like a cat).... yes I know this sounds hilarious but it's true! I get along well with everyone, however I am not interested in sharing a living in environment with people who smoke, as I really can't stand the smell! Looking to sign a lease for between 3-12 months (depending on the place and the situation).
I am unemployed due to having two knee replacements for the past 10 months. Im still recovering with rehab for maybe one month more. I'm a single layed back easy kind of guy to get on with, with a sense of humour. Im very clean and tidy. I would prefer to be around positive mature happy people of similar age. Age group between 30 and 60 but not essential. I used to be a chicken farmer in Victoria and move to Sydney 7 months ago because I had to give up my job due to my physical health. Im currently on Centrelink New Start allowance. I'm currently looking for the right employment opportunities. Look forward to hearing for you.
Urgently Looking for short term accommodation to move in immediately. approximately 4-5 months as my partner will be going back to China for two months. Quiet couple. I'm a defence member. Partner and I are working and we are mostly out on weekends. Both non smokers and drug free. Prefer off street parking if available
I'm looking for a house that could use a little more lounge furniture or some people interested in starting a new share house. I'm not new to the share house lifestyle and have never had a problem with any of my previous house mates. Happy to live by the share house code, respect! I'm flexible with dates but probably looking soonish. My party days are behind me these days and I enjoy a healthy lifestyle, good eating and keeping active. Excited to meet some new relaxed people!
Young corporate professional working in investment banking, looking for a place that is convenient for travel into city perspective and has a good local vibe. I usually keep to myself and most days work late. Keen on exploring new places, have my own car and usually spend the weekend out of the house. Open to share some exploring with flatmates. I'm very particular about cleaning and like to keep my stuff tidy, love cooking and rock climbing on weekends.
I work full time and am very clean and respectable. I'm looking to team up with other likeminded full time professionals, that enjoy a chat after work and are easy to get along with.
Hi, I am Danny. I am 32 years old and single male. I am an accountant. I work full-time near the city. I am looking for an accommodation all for myself or TEAM-UP/SHARE near city. Any train station at walking distance, and parking for a large sedan is a MUST. I have a notice period of 3 weeks at my current accommodation which I will execute once I have found somewhere to move into, also, I can only move after 28th October 2016, so whichever is later. :) I like cleanliness around the house. I am a very easy going person. I am usually on the go at the weekends which would include going to a pub/club/restaurant or a meetup, playing pool, staying out the whole night or just stay at home and read a book or watch YouTube videos or a movie or marathon of any sitcom with a pizza and beer or whatever the mood is... I go well with people from all backgrounds. I respect privacy but also like to have a good chat (who doesn't?) and keen on doing joint activities with my roommate(s) like barbecue, groceries, shopping, gym, movies, sports or whatever they like. I am always open to doing new things. I have a new found love in karaoke lol. Not sure how long it will last before I hop onto some other interesting activity. I am very punctual about paying my rent and would want a roommate (in case sharing the rent) who always pays the rent on time. I am not looking for just another human being living in the same house who I barely talk to, unless they have a touring job or something that keeps them out for productive reasons. I look forward do build friendship with the people I live with. I am a vegetarian (not a vegan). I cook (not bad actually), and I love to cook for others too as long as it does not involve meat. I make my own cheese. :) I have no problem whatsoever if you eat meats. I do have problem with the smell of some sea foods though, like dried prawns. I volunteer with a food charity. Food is my passion. IMPORTANT: I have a queen size bed, an entertainment unit, a buffet table, a coffee table, a six seat dining table (BYO chair, LOL), a 3+2(recliner) lounge, a 3 door (385 Ltr) fridge, a big ass 65" 4K TV, home theater and a microwave, all of which I am happy to share. I do not have a washing machine. Depending on the rent and space I am happy to move a few things to storage. I do not have any pets. I love dogs though. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! Danny
Hi! My name is Liam and I am a 3rd year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student at The University of Sydney. If you have a pet or want to know some gross Vet related stories, then I am the perfect housemate for you! But even if you don't, I am still the perfect housemate for you! My brother and I are looking for two separate rooms. I have lived in share housing for three years now and have got it pretty much down pat. I can cook, clean and live cohesively with other people. I am at uni everyday and work on weekends at a local pub. I am a quiet housemate but love having the odd dinner with housemates and friends and sitting around the lounge room just chatting. I am from a small country town in NSW and moved to Sydney for uni. I love to skateboard, go to the gym and go to heavy metal gigs. I would like to find a cool place with my brother Sean who does 2nd year Marine Biology at USYD. We would prefer to move into an established sharehouse and have no doubts we would fit well into anywhere we move into.
Gorgeous, older style quirky brick home with plenty of character. Floorboards and tiles throughout. Just the one big bathroom (with the best showerhead ever) with a separate toilet and laundry at the back. Kitchen is big enough for dining table and has dishwasher, gas stove top, Nespresso coffee maker, and heaps of cupboard space. There's also a wine rack but unfortunately the wine doesn't stay there for very long! Backyard is typical size for inner west, but plenty of room for bbqs and has a shed for storage. House, and esp the front where the bedrooms are is super cool so is brilliant in summer. Loungeroom is big too with gas outlet for heating. Bedrooms can be closed off to rest of house to minimise noise. Bedroom available has built ins and fits queen bed, bedside, tallboy and small desk. Current housemate will be taking washing machine, one couch, vacuum and a lot of kitchen stuff so we'll have room for yours if you have them, otherwise I'll buying my own. Summer Hill train station is an easy 8 min walk (and is a 22 min ride to Wynyard or 8 min to Newtown), Lewisham West light rail stop and the 413 bus from city to Campsie 4 min walk. There's generally an Uber around too. My old housemate rode her bike to the city most days. Summer Hill itself is a gorgeous little suburb and the main strip has a really nice vibe with Italian, burgers, fish n chips, Indian, Thai and Japanese. Red Penny 1 is a beautiful restaurant in the old post office and Temperance Society is a cool small bar. Heaps of cafes for coffee and brunch. The IGA is really good, and they have a great place for small goods next door. Both Leichhardt marketplace and Ashfield mall are less than a 10 min drive. Hairdressers, beauty salon, gym and tennis courts all on or just off main street too. Hi! I'm Emma, and I'm a 38 year old insurance professional. I work office hours in the city and am also a volunteer coordintaor for a dog rescue group. During the week I'm either working, walking my dog, playing netball, staying on top of my volunteer emails or failing miserably at trivia. Sometimes I like to just crash in front of the tv too. Weekends are spent relaxing, catching up house stuff, markets, dinners or just hanging out. Some weekends it feels like I haven't sat down, other weekends I like to potter around and watch movies. I'm the sort of person who'll bring in your washing if it rains, buy toilet paper before we run out and I've always got a bad joke handy. I like things generally clean and tidy but won't lose it if the dishes sit in the sink for a day or stuff gathers in the lounge room. I used to live in the Blue Mountains so get back there every 2nd or 3rd weekend. Happy to consider meal sharing depending on schedules and happy to share all the staples. My dog Hunter is a 3 year old female kelpie and a superstar. She's happy, friendly, completely house trained, great with other dogs, well behaved, doesn't bark, cry or whine and doesn't shed much fur. I try to take her wherever I go and she is walked every morning. I'm also a foster carer so may have a 2nd dog around waiting to be adopted (including puppies) but this is strictly by agreement. If I am away for work etc she goes to her dad's house so there is no obligation to look after her (unless you wanted to). It would be nice however if I was working back or out after work that you would be ok to feed her. On street parking. Gas cooking and heating. Quiet.
I'm a friendly, fun, mature and tidy 28yo female professional looking for a like-minded female to share our lovely bright, airy and cosy 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom top floor duplex in Summer Hill with myself and 1 other female. THE PLACE - Large top floor duplex but feels like a house. Warm, bright and airy - 1 very large unfurnished room with mirrored built-in wardrobes available (NB I can furnish with a single bed & desk if needed). Size is 3.8x3.9m so can easily fit large bed, study desk, tv etc with plenty of room to spare! - Rest of the house is fully furnished (Large stainless steel fridge, washing machine, dryer, microwave, TV, couch and dining) - An easy 7-8min stroll to Summer Hill train station and village shops, so super convenient. Also plenty of buses nearby and also light rail 10-15min walk away - There is a beautiful big grassy backyard to be shared with the duplex below, perfect to get a bit of sun, grow some veggies/herbs and for having friends over for a BBQ. There is also a large clothes line if you prefer to air dry your clothes THE PEOPLE - I'm hoping to find a fun, friendly and hassle-free housemate that pays the rent/bills on time, keeps the place clean and doesn't cause me too much headache as I'm usually pretty spent after a full week of work and want to come home to somewhere chill and drama free! - Strictly no smoking or drugs. Prefer no pets, but if you have a cute house-trained cat, I can live with that! ;-) - You will be sharing with myself and 1 other female - Note this isn't really a party house and would be best suited to someone that likes their own privacy and downtime. So if you're the type to bring the party/random people/guys home, apologies but this is not the place for you! - That said, I'm very social and easy-going, and would love a housemate I can chill out and share a few laughs with - I love the outdoors and like to stay active, like to get out of the house most weekends and get to the gym few times a week. Love dining out, going out for coffee, drinks with friends, beach, run, kayaking, camping, fishing, hiking, travel, road drips, shops, markets etc - On weeknights I'm pretty buggered after work so usually keen to cook, go for a run or class, chill out, chat over a meal/vino/nice cuppa tea and watch a movie HOUSEKEEPING - Bills are an extra $30/week which covers all bills including ADSL2+ internet (So $290/wk total including bills) - Rent and bills paid monthly in advance plus bond which is 4 weeks rent - Prefer long term stay Hope to hear from you! :-)
We're preferably looking for a room each in the same house but would consider living separately. We are both easy going, considerate, clean and fun girls looking for a long term home! Joanne works shifts in a well regarded restaurant/bar in Sydney (no anti-social hours). Laura is an Assistant and also studies. During week nights we are generally at Yoga, the gym, finding new eateries and out exploring at the weekends. We both enjoy cooking and a glass of wine or 2, are chilled and easy to get along with. We look forward to talking with you future roomies! Laura & Joanne.
Hey there! Liv here! I'm in my final year of studying nursing all while working full time in a CBD hotel in Guest Services. I consider myself to be pretty easy going (originally a Coastie), clean and enjoy playing a part in the household. Due to my study/work schedule my down time involves me either studying, watching American Horror Story or Kath & Kim repeats, enjoying some good ol brie and sav blanc. Im looking at moving elsewhere as I am after somewhere a tad more modern than my beautiful federation house in Balmain. Let me know if your interested xo Liv
Ciao guys!! Im 26yrs old, Australian born with Italian background. I'm a chef/pizzaiolo by trade and I've recently moved back to Sydney after 3 years of travelling and working around Italia and Europe. I have high standards when it comes to personal hygiene and am very clean and well organised. I'm always down for an adventure and to try new things! I have a good sense of humour (or so i'd like to think..), I'm well mannered and well spoken and not easily bothered. I love meeting new people and making new friends! I'm humble, laid-back and an open minded individual who never looks for trouble and trouble never looks for me. I love sports, cultures, I love food in general and cooking (love eating more!), love arts and music (mainly hip-hop and house but love all genre) and love to share a laugh over a decent bottle of red. I always contribute 100% and strongly believe in respecting other peoples property and privacy. Please contact me asap if you think i meet the right criteria to be your new flatmate! Kindest regards, Gabriele.
I'm looking for somewhere new to call 'home', with an easy-going full-time working professional who's got their life sorted. Either moving into somewhere new or renting a room & bathroom are ideal. I like to think I'm friendly, welcoming, personable and an agreeable kind of guy with my my head on right and my 'stuff' together. I work full time in digital media as a journalist, so I'm pretty busy at work during most days of the week as well as many nights of the week, so I tend to stay out of anyone's hair. My weekends are my own and I love down time spent relaxing at home, visiting galleries or beaching, going out and to parties, Netflix binging or watching movies, reading and trying to not kill my plants. I'm very clean and tidy, don't take up a lot of space and pretty open minded, like nice wine and fancy cheese and can hold a good conversation. I have a massive soft spot for dogs and all animals so if you have a pet, I'd be stoked. I do drink, I do not take drugs and I am also gay, if that matters.
I'm a 26 year old full-time graphic designer. I have a beauiful Kelpie X named Erik; he's house-trained, obedience trained, gets plenty of exercise and stays outdoors when I'm at work. My hobbies/interests include (but not exclusive to) reading, sci-fi, mountain biking, art, cheesy horror films, roller derby and the big outdoors. Looking for a relaxed, friendly household, I've been living in sharehouses for the past 8 years, so very good at cleaning up after myself! Would love to hear from you.
I work as a karaoke/trivia host four nights a week.I'm also a freelance video editor and comedy writer. I'm clean, quiet and pay rent on time. I mostly keep to myself but also enjoy a good chat over a coffee or beer with my flatmates. I smoke but only outside. I also have a gorgeous, fluffy 6yo cat named Edith Piaf who loves a good cuddle. Pick me and you won't be disappointed!
Large bedroom available with high ceilings, stain glass windows, fireplace (not working), wardrobe, polished floor boards and wooden shutters. You could live in this room!! Cute terrace style half house. Spacious lounge / dining area and kitchen. Quiet location. Frontyard / backyard. Storage available if needed. Close to public transport. 10 mins walk to station.
I've lived in Sydney for two months so far and am looking for another awesome share house to live in as my initial place was only for two months. I am studying to become a Naturopath and love healthy cooking, yoga and exercising. I run my own business, Mother Nature's Alchemist. I also work part time as a medical receptionist at the Mater Hospital in North Sydney. I am clean and tidy, pay bills on time, am a good communicator and I respect a good balance of socialising and alone time in a house. I'm not opposed to parties though!
Hi, I'm looking for a new, long term place to hang my hat. Hopefully in or near the inner-west. In the last 6 years I've only lived in two different sharehouses, so I like to think that speaks alot for how I get along with others. I'm a 29 year old in my 2nd year of a PhD in music psychology research. I have a wage from this job to pay all my bills, don't worry about that. I also work freelance as a guitarist playing soul, blues, jazz, funk, etc. I am super respectful with noise levels and have never had a complaint from a housemate. Most of my practice is done with headphones, which is completely silent, and anything other than that would be gentle, soft acoustic guitar during the day time only. I am a clean guy, and its important to me that the place I live in isn't in shambles. If you live in a messy house, lets stop this right here. I'm not saying anal-retentive clean, but you know, the acceptable level for people in their late twenties and thirties. I'm also looking for a friendly place where we can all hang out in front of the TV or cook some communal meals when everyone's schedules line up. If you have an animal pal at the house, that's a total bonus for me. Both of the sharehouses I've lived in had live-in landlords, and both will give me excellent references. I always paid on time, got on with others, did more than my fair share of house work. My moving date is pretty flexible. I'm a straight male, but I am happy live with anyone regardless of their preferences N.B. I am looking for a house or townhouse. Guys and Ladies messaging me about apartments: thanks, but no thanks :) Also not interested in room share.
Hello!! me and my partner james are looking to move out asap into a sharehouse which doesn't mind our fur baby Uri who is the love of our lives. James is a 21 year old philosphy student/vegetarian/barista/craft beer expert(or so he likes to think lmao) I'm Karan, I'm vegan, 19 and working as a tele-fundraiser for charity while i also plan to study to become a mental health crisis worker!! our cat uri is 9 months old, he is a strictly inside cat who knows how to use the litter and is very particular about his little area being clean and ready to go for him. James works mornings 7am-3;30pm and i work evenings, 12-8pm so one of us is always going to be home to make sure Uri is all loved up! although i'm sure uri wouldn't mind an extra hand or two for pats, he also acts more like a dog than a cat. he gets very very happy when he sees people coming home from work or school which is perhaps the cutest thing ever. but we are super keen to move out into a long term stay of at least a year! we are willing to jump on a lease!
I'm a 27 year old Psychology PhD student at Sydney Uni. I tutor psych and work in research to pay the bills. When I'm not at work, I enjoy vego cooking, running and music. I'm a relaxed housemate. I like to hang out, cook dinner or grab a beer, but also enjoy unwinding by myself. Feel free to hit me up with any questions if there's something you'd like to know about me.
my name is Charlotte, I am a student (TPC, high school and design ) and I need a place to stay while I study at tafe at ultimo in sydneys CBD for a year or so. My income is stable ( I always pay on time ), I'm a easy going house mate, I'm a fun, outgoing, social and neat person and ill probably be gone every weekend. Im currently living in a share house so I have a referance, would prefer student share houses, a backroom or female room mates but in saying that I'm pretty open minded to living situations I am looking for accommodation around the inner west e.g. newtown, marrickville, summer hills. Im keen to make friends with my new housemates and create some groovy memories including wine and banter :-))) feel free to hit me up if your looking for a housemate / team up towards the end of 2016 xx.
Im a 19 year old student, who is looking for a place to live in Sydney, im currently living in Goulburn while im on holidays and with luck hope to find a place before i commence my studies again, i have a busy schedule with studies, work and travelling to see my family in Goulburn, on my free time i like to gym and be active so im hardly at home, i occasionally have a friend over, i keep things clean, i try to eat healthy and to be honest im pretty shy at first but most people can easily get along with me.
