Easy going 27 year old working professional, currently working in the digital finance sector. I cook, I clean, i’m pretty quiet and i’m good at respecting other peoples privacy and personal space. My preference would be for housemates that like to keep a tidy place and ideally a household that cares about the environment and sustainable practices. I’m happy to live with a close-knit group or conversely housemates that largely prefer to do their own thing and hang out every now and then. I'm flexible about the culture, so long as there is a generally positive and friendly mood about the place. Things I enjoy doing: Reading, Hiking, Camping, Rock Climbing, Traveling, geeking out on world affairs and geopolitics, Gardening, Lamenting over climate change inaction, Board Games. A good conversation over a bottle of wine is pretty high among my list of favorite things in the world to do. I’m cool with pets, love dogs.
Welcome to Summer Hill. The property is a free standing Victorian house with two large bedrooms. It’s a beautiful and comfortable home. Very high ceilings, floorboards throughout, comfy lounge room, kitchen with gas cooking, a sun room, laundry and back yard. The bathroom is large and has a bath and a separate shower. I'm currently looking for some more pictures to hang on the numerous hooks throughout the house. Both Summer Hill station and Lewisham West light rail are about 8 minutes’ walk away. A bus stop with buses to the city is a 5 minute walk away. There is plenty of parking available on the street. It’s walking distance to Summer Hill village which includes all the usual services, an excellent supermarket, wine shop, liquor store, gym, restaurants and cafes, a pub and some really cool bars. The neighbourhood is friendly and quiet. The house is complete with all appliances, furniture and cooking equipment. I'm on the lookout for an outdoor setting for the yard. More pot plants are on the list as well. Your room is spacious with tall built-ins and measures 3.7 x 3.4 m. There is a king single bed with very comfortable mattress and a large study desk in the room. If you don't need either I will store them. There's a few picture hooks on the walls for your art and prints and the room gets a nice breeze through the window.

Summer Hill is an elegant Australian suburb with a variety of cafes, coffee shops, take aways and some nice restaurants which have outside dining at night. If you would like to have a look, or if you have any questions, please send a message through Flatmates. ...... or you can send me an SMS or call me and I can give you the full address and answer any questions that you may have :) Thank you Kim
Hey there! I'm Hannah, 19 from Syd. I'm a nurse, I work full time at RPAH. I'm looking for someone who would want to share a new and modern, unfurnished apartment from the inner west to city-ish. I'm easy going and very social but also like my privacy like everyone else! I like to keep things clean and tidy. Feel free to message me please!!!!
Hi I'm Sergio, I work as a web/app designer. As a housemate, I keep things clean and tidy and pay my bills on time. Usually working during the day and go out in the evening or relax at home. I like chilling with housemates over a glass of wine from time to time. A bit about my background: I've moved between countries a lot and have been exposed to a wide range of cultures. I'm friendly, honest, and like meeting new people. My free time usually involves visiting friends, the beach, road trips, relaxing, and drawing. I'm planning on getting a dog soon (Staffy!) so only looking for dog friendly places. I prefer living with people who are friendly and easy going, and I get along with both introverts and extroverts. Ideally you'd be mature, respectful, open to negotiate what works for everyone, and communicate freely if anything comes up. I'm not too fussed about most things, if there is an issue I'll bring it up constructively, appreciate the same.
I am a 52 year old male with a very friendly medium sized dog. So I am looking for a flatmate who likes dogs and has a house with a backyard. He is an inside dog when I am home. Flexible at the moment with moving date. I am looking for a house with a relaxed atmosphere.
Chilled, Thoughtful. Looking for a place that I can say, "cool, i'm lucky to find this one." Maybe once or twice a week have friends over as long as flatmate approves. Can be creative in the kitchen and can do basic gardening. I need the basics, washing machine, dryer, secure property. I'm ok with moderate traffic noise. I work in the events industry, my hours can vary a little. Enjoy the outdoors and being on the water. I have a few small boxes to store, mainly childhood memories so built in wardrobe would be good or similar Non smoker and will only live with non smokers, drug free. $270 is a maximum for me, to include bills. Extra keen on places with own bathroom or shared only with one. Epping-Eastwood area not suitable.
Hi I'm Luca. I'm a laid back kind of guy who is easy to get on with. I'm clean and tidy and mindful of other people space. Full time employed, I'm currently looking for a room in the Inner West. Feel free to drop me a line if you think I could potentially be a good fit. Cheers
I am currently a Technical Lead at a wonderful boutique consultancy full of people I love and respect. I am also studying Computer Science and enjoying the challenge. Funtimesss: Connecting/chilling with others, cooking for others, learning, music, keeping my plants alive, yoga, tech & reading Lifestyle: * I enjoy house dinners & meeting wonderful people * Usually finish at 6pm weekdays * During the week, I generally like to chill, chat & rest at home :) * Weekends I aim to adventure or work on side projects * I enjoy understanding where other people want to go with their lives
The generous master-bedroom of this delightfully cosy apartment is the perfect place to come home to! The room is yours to furnish, but the rest of the flat comes with all the necessary and aesthetic bits (BYO flair and fun decor choices). The open plan lounge/kitchen gives the place an airy feel, the large window welcomes the afternoon sun and shiny wooden floors are fun for sock-sliding. The balcony is ace for quick laundry drying. There's a dishwasher, but you might have to bring some more butter knives if you're keen to use it. The lounge room is TV-less, but chill tunes, warm lighting and hearty laughter is encouraged. Just a 2 minute walk from the Summer Hill train station (!!!), an 8 minute walk from the light rail station and around the corner from Paramatta Road buses, we're in the golden-triangle of public transport! But why would you want to leave when Summer Hill is jam-packed with darling cafes, rad bars and an IGA just behind the station (Ashfield mall feat. Aldi and K-Mart is nearish too).
I will be starting a graduate program on February 4 for a construction company in a Health, Safety & Environment role. I will be moving over to Sydney from Perth for this new job and would ideally like to move in a few days before the start date so I can settle in and get to know my surroundings. I like to regularly go to the gym to stay fit, go and see music acts especially at festivals, and I enjoy binge watching tv shows and playing video games.
I'm from Brazil and I've been in Australia for 6 month now. I'm studying Leadership and Management 2 days a week in the city and I work full time as a driver delivering supplies for a tiler. I'm a peaceful, respectful and very tidy person. I like yoga, meditation and I don't eat meat. I like beaches, camping and all outdoor stuff. I like exercising and i go to the gym at least 4 days a weak. I'm looking for a clean and organised place that I can share with good people.
Hi, I am moving to Sydney in January to start a full time job with the Australian Government. I have lived in Brisbane my entire life and am looking forward to new things in Sydney. Some of my interests include Touch Football, watching old movies and beers with friends. I am looking to live in the inner city areas close to a train line or bus. I am very independent but I also enjoy chilling with my housemates.
*(FYI: Just here for research at the moment, not looking to move until March 2019)* I'm a "late 30-something" man/guy/dude who is looking to move in March 2019. I work full time for a trade union, Mondays to Fridays, doing the 9-5 thing and like having low key evenings at home although don't mind the occasional movie/pub meal during the week. I like going to the party rather than bringing it home, although I do like entertaining friends over dinner or drinks at home. I'm clean, tidy, hygienic, and am not (currently) hosting any alien plagues/beings. I'm reliable and responsible with rent/bills/groceries/dishes/taking the bins out, etc. I'm also sociable and funny, and don't mind having a chin wag but also like my own space and quiet time. I love cooking (when I'm not exhausted) and sharing a meal once in a while. I'm all about personal responsibility, mutual respect, and open communication between housemates and would like to live in a place i call home rather than just rent a room in a house. Most importantly, I am house-trained and not a dickhead.
I would like to talk and interact with other people and always love to mingle with all culture, my previous room mates say I am easy-going and sociable guy whom u can trust like a family member.
the pictures about the unit took by the last owner so I am 100% sure it will be quiet different and clear when u move in. I have a room becoming available in Summer Hill in a 2 bedroom unit on a quiet street. It is conveniently located 5min walk from Summer Hill station and shops, including IGA, cafes, gyms etc. You will share the lovely unit with me. The unit itself is fully furnished. The kitchen is furnished with oven, microwave, fridge etc. The bathroom has a washing machine, a separate shower. Also, the living room is a bit large and comfy with a sofa and a dinner table. I am sure that You can easily move in Your room is spacious with tall built-ins. There is a queen size bed with very comfortable mattress. Most important thing is your room gets ample sunshine. The room limited for not more than 2 people(We could have some discussion about this part. : )
I am a non smoker just returned from 4 years working abroad working full time - long days I love to cook, bake and share a meal or a glass of wine together on occasion I enjoy going out to live music events I enjoy team sports, health and fitness I love a quiet living space in the busy inner west so I can go out for drinks, meals, trivia and am in close proximity to the city I am looking to live with easy going people who enjoy a quiet and tidy living space they take pride in
Young professional; 25 y/o. Easy going. Always up for a tea / wine / beer and a chat. Looking for a new share-family in a modern/refurbished house or apartment in the inner west. Current lease ends on 7th Feb 2019 so looking to move before that. Ideally looking for house mates who are also in their 20s / full time working.
The house is 5 bedrooms with two bathrooms, large living/dinning room and lounge room. The upstairs bathroom has been renovated within the last 18 months and the kitchen is less than 6 months old. We are less than two minute walk to Summer Hill station and the even closer to the vibrant cafes & restaurants, including Andiamo Pizzeria (arguably the best pizza in Sydney!). Summer Hill is a 15 minute train ride to Central. Rent includes internet and a cleaner (you didn't misread that - a cleaner!). About the room: The room is quite spacious and will easily fit a queen size bed, dresser and other furniture About the housemates: We like to think our house is more of a home. Everyone is very easy going and we have a good mix of people: Michael, Aimee, Elline and Tom. We enjoy a glass of wine and good conversation in our beautiful courtyard (pictured) however we still enjoy our own space. This is definitely not a party house. If you have any questions or would like to come and say hi please let me know. Tom
