Hello! For rent, one huge bedroom in a flat in Summer Hill. Situated two minutes from the train station, with restaurants and a supermarket literally right across the street - location is simply unbeatable! The room itself is gigantic, and fully furnished with a queen bed, desk, and wardrobe. Electric kitchen, washer and clothes dryer, furnished living room, and an outside balcony with a view of the Inner West!
The sunny master-bedroom of this delightfully cosy apartment is the perfect place to come home to! The room is yours to furnish as you please; but fret not, the rest of the flat is decked out with all the bits (BYO flair and new aesthetic decor choices). The open plan lounge/kitchen gives the place an airy feel, the large window welcomes the afternoon sun and shiny wooden floors are fun for sock-sliding. The balcony is ace for quick laundry drying. There's a dishwasher, but you might have to bring some more butter knives to the drawer if you're keen to use it. The lounge room is TV-less, but chill tunes, warm lighting and hearty laughter is encouraged. Just a 2 minute walk from the Summer Hill train station (!!!), an 8 minute walk from the light rail station and around the corner from Paramatta Road buses, we're in the golden-triangle of public transport! But also, why leave? Summer Hill is jam-packed with darling cafes, rad bars and an IGA just behind the station (Ashfield mall feat. Aldi and K-Mart is nearish too).
This is a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment, sunny, has a balcony with plants, quiet and in a safe building with nice neighbours. It is just 5 min walk (or less) to Summer Hill Train Station and the Light Rail is also close (10 min). You can also walk to the supermarket (3 min) and to the gym (3min), and to nice cafes (2 to 5 min). It is a walking paradise, all very handy. A car spot will be soon be available if you have a car (price already included in rent) or until them street parking is available. The rent includes the electricity bill. But if you wish to share internet illimited access will be $25 each. I prefer a long stay.
3 minute walk to Summer Hill train station, 5 minute walk to Lewisham West light rail. 50m away from Summer Hill village with shops, plenty of cafes, wide range of restaurants and a massive IGA. Great view from the kitchen window
The house is 5 bedrooms with two bathrooms, large living/dinning room and lounge room. The upstairs bathroom has been renovated within the last 18 months and the kitchen is less than 6 months old. We are less than two minute walk to Summer Hill station and the even closer to the vibrant cafes & restaurants, including Andiamo Pizzeria (arguably the best pizza in Sydney!). Summer Hill is a 15 minute train ride to Central. Rent includes internet and a cleaner (you didn't misread that - a cleaner!). About the room: The room is quite spacious and will easily fit a queen size bed, dresser and other furniture About the housemates: We like to think our house is more of a home. Everyone is very easy going and we have a good mix of people: Michael, Aimee, Elline and Tom. We enjoy a glass of wine and good conversation in our beautiful courtyard (pictured) however we still enjoy our own space. This is definitely not a party house. If you have any questions or would like to come and say hi please let me know. Tom
A 5 minute walk from the Station, and 2 minutes from Parramatta Road, this flat is well-connected by public transport and close to everything! The flat has been renovated - the bathroom and kitchen have plenty of storage space as well. There is also a garage to store your stuff downstairs if needed. I'm looking for someone to take over my co-tenancy of the master bedroom. The master room has a large built-in wardrobe and own private balcony. You can fit a bed, bookcase, drawers, sidetable and the like in there and still have plenty of space.
Looking for a flatmate to move into my sunny Summer Hill apartment around 30 June. Located on a quiet street three minutes walk to the station and Summer Hill Village, the apartment has been freshly painted with new carpet. It is in an older style block, so it’s big and roomy with lots of windows, high ceilings and two sunny balconies. It also has an internal laundry with washing machine and dryer, one shared bathroom (excellent water pressure - and - bath!), NBN internet, Netflix and Stan. The room itself is huge (about 4x4), with a built-in wardrobe, ceiling fan and plenty of light. A large lock-up garage may also be rented for more $ per week.
Close to train station, buses along Parramatta road and light rail. Green leafy street with a village vibe. Great cafes, restaurants, shops, gym and services within walking distance. The unit is on the ground floor with a balcony. Bedroom is furnished with new and high quality furniture.

Looking to move out roughly by the end of June. I'm clean, really chill and usually down for a drink after work. Self-acclaimed spectacular cook, and if you don't find me in the kitchen you'll likely find me on my computer or at the gym. Feel free to message me, Jack
Hi, I'm looking for a temporary room for about a month from the end of July. Flexible on area, but prefer inner west, furnished and close to a train station. I'm 35 and work at the Art Gallery of NSW. I'm from NZ and have been living in Sydney for 6 months, before that I spent 5 years in London. I love art and music and enjoying exploring Sydney. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hey! I'm Kiara, 22 years old and looking for like-minded housemate/s in the Inner West. Ideally looking for a friend who is tidy, open-minded and understanding of the balance of being an extrovert and introvert. I'm into collecting second hand bric-a-brac, yoga, vegetarian food, masala chai, plants, a holistic and wholesome approach to living, reducing plastic consumption and all things herbal (including waving palo santo and a smudge stick around the house). I'm in no rush to move just yet as I'm still saving my foundation for a bond and furniture but am looking for a new beginning by September when I will commence my studies in Health Science in Natural Therapies. I'm currently working at a yoga studio in Newtown & am an amateur/volunteer yoga teacher in the works. I am open to sharing an apartment with 1 or 2 people, or a bigger house/terrace with a group - preferably girls. My goal is to create a home that is open, bright and spacious for creativity, self-care and positive energy. Think along a picturesque Pinterest post ;) If this sounds like I'm on your vibe and you won't be turned off my typical-hippie-inner-west attributes, hit me up and we can grab a coffee to chat all things home-y! :)))) Kiki xxx
I have lived in share houses in the inner west for the better part of 10 years alongside every possible personality type, so I am pretty well educated in share house living. I work Monday- Friday programming music and entertainment. Weeknights are usually spent exercising, eating and sleeping, weekends are for beers, live music and being outside. I want my next move to be into a place that I will look forward to coming home to and live at for awhile, so more interested in finding the right people to live with. If you think I’d be a good fit, let me know :)
I'm trying to finally finish a BA in arts at usyd and working part time as a baker at Bourke Street bakery, so my housemate perk is I can guarantee a steady supply of free bread and baked goods
Hi, I am a Master's student at the University of Sydney. Why am I great to live with: 1. Hygienic 2. Focused What do I do for fun: 1. Sleep most of the time 2. Stream TV shows 3. Exercise
We have just relocated from Melbourne for new job opportunities; I am working as a Purchasing & Administration Officer and Courtney will be starting shortly as a Leasing Consultant. We’ve lived in Melbourne all our lives, most recently living in a 3 bedroom share house for the past year. We are looking for somewhere to call home that we can enjoy with our housemates. We enjoy spending time with everyone but also respect privacy and alone time. We also like to clean and keep everything tidy. We aren’t party people and prefer a night in to a big night out but also enjoy going out for dinner or for a few drinks. We enjoy going to the footy, movies and brunch. I play Tennis and aim to join a club close to home. We will both look to try playing some new sports as well.
I'm very polite and friendly, clean and tidy and quiet. I can hang out or I'm up for a chat if you need one but mostly I keep to myself. I don't have parties or visitors. I just want people that are like minded and respectful just like me!
I'm a friendly, easygoing and fun guy who's keen to help out around the house. I grew up in Annandale, Sydney and lived in a few share houses in Balmain/Chippendale. I'm studying full time at University of Sydney doing a Bachelor of Education (Primary), and working casually at a before/after school care in Glebe. I love coming home and being sociable, but also have study so know the importance of personal space and having time on your own. Lion King fanatic, Game of Thrones enthusiast.
Hi there xx We’ve been in Sydney for a few years now. We are looking to team up with someone/with a couple - and to move at the same time - in a house/apartment. We think it encourages a sense of ownership for both; plus it will be a fresh start for all. We love to laugh and eat! We like the gym too and would prefer to have clean and lovely flat mate/s. We enjoy going out but like staying at home too. You’ll experience a mixed European-Asian culture (eg. food) . We’re definitely open to having pups at home ^.^ If you are looking for something similar, perhaps we could all meet and take it from there:) Happy to share our furnitures xx
