Hi, this is Tim. I’m a PhD student at The University of Melbourne. I enjoy jogging, climbing, cooking, music, movies, and reading—and I really like sharing my food! I’m currently looking for a short-term rental, and here’s why: I was scheduled for a research visit to Sweden starting September 1st, but my visa has been delayed. My current lease ends on September 6th, so I urgently need a temporary place to stay while waiting for my visa. It should arrive soon—I applied about eight weeks ago—but unfortunately, I can’t predict exactly when it will be granted. Because of this uncertainty, I can only commit to a few weeks of rental/stay initially, with the possibility of extending until my Swedish visa arrives. I understand this may be less ideal for landlords, but I would really appreciate any kind of offer, regardless of the suburb or property type. I’m also happy to pay upfront to provide peace of mind.
