Hi there, we’re Greta and Lasse from Hamburg, Germany. We recently graduated and have moved to Sydney for a new chapter—looking to stay 3 months between September (first only Lasse) till November. I’m (Lasse) likely to stay longer, so maybe we will mutually extend my stay. We’re currently looking for a room in a shared home with easygoing, respectful people who value a calm and clean living environment. I’ve come across many young German travellers doing the typical backpacking route, but I’m aiming for a more grounded lifestyle while I work full-time—either as a waiter (I have a year’s experience in Hamburg) or in an internship related to urban development. After work, I enjoy winding down with a swim, cooking dinner (ideally for more than just myself), or watching a few episodes of How I Met Your Mother. We’re very open-minded, sociable, and like to contribute to a relaxed and positive home atmosphere. While I definitely enjoy spontaneity, I also appreciate structure in my daily life, Greta even more 😅—and yes, we do live up to the stereotype of being on time (always).
