I am a 29 year old who has lived in sharehouses for 10+ years (mostly around the Inner West). Before living in Sydney I grew up in a remote corner of the NT, but managed to turn out kinda normal! I'm house-proud and house-trained, and while I tend to be busy and out of the house a fair bit, I love coming home to a warm and relaxed space. I work full time in marketing for a beer company (perks!), and outside of work I play in 2 local bands. I tend to be out quite a bit throughout the week, due to rehearsals/gigs, but also due to being obsessed with my friends, who I will happily share with you. I have a pretty big social battery, but when I'm at home I do like to find little moments to chill out and recharge. I love sharing houses with others, and enjoy cooking for housemates and spending unforced time together. Definitely prefer houses where it feels more like living with friends than strangers. I have quite a bit of common area furniture with me, but I can leave this in storage if unnecessary.
