Hi, I'm Issak! I'm busy 20 years old, a full time student and work part time in retail I'm openly gay, and in saying this would probably prefer living with females as I socially connect with them easily When I'm not busy during the week I enjoy being social and going out over the weekends I am clean and well organised and would prefer like to live with someone like-minded I have lived in the inner western suburbs for the last 18 months and would like to stay in the area but I'm open to ideas on other suburbs provided they're still close to the CBD and public transport My lease doesn't end until early January but I'll be out of town for Christmas so I want to be organised and have a new place lined up before mid-December If you're interested in living with me don't hesitate to contact me on here or v, I'm fun and don't bite and would be up for brunch or something to see if we're a good fit :-)
We are looking for a new housemate to share our beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in Taringa. You would have one of the two downstairs bedrooms with a ceiling fan and built in robe, shelving and desk. The two downstairs bedrooms share a bathroom. The bedroom will be unfurnished, though the rest of the house is furnished. Also, there is plenty of storage room if you have furniture. There is a carport which parks two cars and plenty of street parking is always available. The house also has a pool, with fortnightly pool maintenance included in the rent and a fireplace in the living area. There is air-conditioning in the main area as well but as the house is surrounded by a huge covered balcony, it stays pretty cool in summer. We split electricity and internet bills evenly and our gas bill is included in the rent. The house is in a great location, about a 5 min walk to the Taringa shops and a 10 min walk to Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.
A furnished apartment with an unfurnished room. You will have large seperate bathroom which includes both shower and bath. Lovely natural light in bedroom with front balcony and cool breezes in summer. Close to Taringa train station, buses, Toowong Village and Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. Aircon, dishwasher, modern stove top and oven and internal laundry. Easy location to get to QUT, both Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove, and UQ. If you have furniture please feel free to chat about fitting it in apartment or storing in the complex :)
Hey guys, i am a student looking for a room in Brisbane. I tend to keep to myself but am up for drinks and a chat on the weekends. i am clean, tidy and easy going. love to cook and garden and gym time haha. i love adventures to the beach and into the mountains. am planning on moving to Brisbane in January 2017. thanks.
Hi there! I'm Korii and I'm a 26 year old female currently living in Perth. However I will be moving to Brisbane at the end of November for a new job, which I am super excited about! However this means I am now on the hunt for a place to live. :) I am very friendly, laid back and pretty respectful of people's need for space/privacy. I love good banter and bad jokes. :P As I work full time, I like to keep busy in the weekends - heading outside, keeping active, visiting and exploring new places and trying new things. I'm a huge sports fanatic - love my rugby union in particular. I'm also hoping to check out the Muay Thai/Kickboxing scene when I get to Brizzy. Would love to live with others who are like-minded, somewhat mature (but still likes to have a good time every now and then!), respectful and friendly. Definitely don't mind sharing a meal or two every now and then either - I find cooking a great way to relax over the weekends. Because I am moving from the other side of the country I would prefer a fully furnished bedroom, just to make it a little easier. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
Brisbane born, gentle giant, introvert but with a good sense of humour. Med-High level of cleanliness/tidiness, dependent on who i'm living with, I tend to match my fellow roommate's standards. Dishwasher is a necessity though! Super honest and tolerant. Currently living with some people in Kenmore, and the couple just got married, so are moving out. Moved in with them 4yrs ago, and we are now great friends :) I work part time from home, with a small Mobile Phone repair business. I refurbish phones for sale, and repair customers devices. This means I will have customers visiting the place to drop off, but only once or twice a day on average. I have my own doorbell, and I work in my bedroom. My current housemates have not had any problems with this, and I try to minimise the imposition as much as possible. Near cost price phone repair for fellow housemates is offered in return. :) I play tennis regularly, and volunteer at the tennis club too. Also play volleyball & golf occasionally and like trivia nights. I like playing my PlayStation too when I've got a good game, but I've got my own screen for my room. I like board games, movies, having a beer and chatting occasionally. I love animals, especially dogs (I don't have a pet though).
The location is great! Perfect for anyone who works in the city or studies at UQ St. Lucia. Literally less than two minutes by walk to Taringa Station, where you can get to the city or to Indooroopilly. Great for anyone who doesn't have a car, but if you do, there is undercover parking available for you too. Fairly new apartment in a quiet neighbourhood. We had some issues with our previous flatmate because her boyfriend was coming over almost every day. We are looking for a lovely and considerate lady who is okay with our rule for visitors- once a week please. Also, someone who is quiet and respectful would be great- cleaning up after yourself is very important and maintaining the hygiene and tidiness standards should be basic ettiquette in shared accommodation. The lease for the apartment expires in March next year, so if you would like to stay longer, you will have to renew the lease.
I'm a registered nurse. Tidy, quiet and friendly. I work shift work so I'll need the house to be quiet during the day so I can sleep for night shift about 3 times a month. Always happy to hang out and have a chat, but I'm respectful of boundaries. I would also require room mates to be 420 friendly.
Our housemate is leaving the country for two months in late november and we offer a fully furnished room as a result. House is shared with two females 23 and 24. The room has queen bed, built in wardrobes and desk. You would be sharing a bathroom with one other girl. The house is air-conditioned with large open plan modern kitchen/living area which flows out onto the large courtyard. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite bench tops and all tableware - nothing required. Fantastic location with a 5 min walk to Taringa rail station and Indooroopilly Shopping centre. Bus stop just outside with a quick ride to UQ, bars and restaurants are close by as well. Also 2 car secure garage with additional storage space. We like to keep the communal places clean and love to cook and have occasional drinks but respect our house mate's privacy. We're ideally looking for a student or young professional in their 20's who is mature minded, social and tidy. If you'd like any more details or would like to take a look at the place, please get in touch! Cheers, Rupert and Imogen

I'm a 21 year old Finnish-Australian starting my BA at UQ in Term 1, 2017. I'm very social and laidback, and hence expect to get along with pretty much everybody. I'm usually more than likely to be happy to go out and have a fun time, but also respect others' boundaries and privacy. I believe in fairness and sharedness when it comes to common chores, but I'm not too uptight and hate arguing. I've lived in shared accommodation before, and have always had a good time. You can contact me for either a room, or to teamup. Hope to hear from you, and have a good day!
I am an Italian-American student coming on exchange to UQ for Semester 1 of 2017 from McGill University in Canada.
