$200/week•19 year old female
Hey! My name is Freya and I‘m an arts student at UQ. I'm moving back to Brisbane after a gap year and looking for a place for me and my house plants to call home. I have an inside kitten named Mouse, she's very well behaved and is used to being in a busy household around other animals so she gets along with everyone. I’m a pretty quiet and easy going person but I’m really keen to get to know some new people and set down some roots in the city.

Hi! I've included my couchsurfing and trustroots profile below as these are communities I love and have been pretty actively enjoyed in.. enjoy Otherwise I'm looking for a drama free, clean, communicative place to call home - and ideally some great people to call friends as I stumble into this new city. Loving it so far - we will see what the next months bring. I've been in and out of share houses for years so understand the ins and outs of living together. I'm all about doing stuff together, cooking together and having dinner together when it works - but if it doesn't work no worries. We all will have pretty busy schedules and private lives. ta, look forward to getting in touch fletchi oh four nine eight five two zero three five eight ------------------------------------- cs bio ------------- I'm 25 and moving up to brisbane for university Bit of a jack of all trades and master of none. I was going to study engineering, but have decided spontaneously that it's too dry and have as of this morn been accepting into an arts degree at uq, with the plan to do sociology/anthropology and philosophy. talk about doing a u turn ;) .. I read once that 'you are under no obligation to be the same person that you were one minute ago' and have always thought that was sage advice.. Identity is fluid after all I still love building crazy projects and having tools in my hand. Especially for a massive, gnarly idea that has a lot of people scratching their heads all the time. The end result is awesome. Also tinkering with cars. mmm Most days my preferences change and i never really know what my true interests are (see doing a u turn) Or who I am. That's ok. Some things always come back: i like skiing, scuba diving, hitchhiking, dumpster diving, cooking, veggy/vegan/freegan, tea, sleep, hammocks, books, sunsets, handwritten letters, language, kids questions, abandoned stuff, rain, fruit trees, philosophy, strange people, cognitive behavioural therapy, led lights, plants, beer, mountains, nature, sharing, psychadelic drugs, photography, music, bikes, big share houses, campfires, coffee, meditation, stars, dahl, festivals.. ta

Very quiet, neat and tidy, don’t make a mess and keep shared areas clean, non smoker, non drinker, don’t take drugs, don’t play loud music or TV, fitness orientated. Keen mountain biker. Not into pubs or clubs, just value peace and quiet and freedom to get out on either my mountain bike or road bike. I do a bit of graphic and web design from home during weekdays and on weekends I’m usually out riding or shuttling mountain bikers. When indoors I like to browse Facebook or YouTube, mostly use headphones in my room. I’m very conscientious of not invading other people’s space as I like my own. I’m not a hang out in the lounge room person. I don’t like noisy environments so therefore I myself am very quiet. I was a full time Nightclub DJ in all the main Clubs in Brisbane and Gold Coast before I relocated overseas, so I’ve had my share of loud music lol. I’m not much of a cook, Ive mastered a microwave thankfully. I have a pretty quick witted sense of humour when I do engage in conversation. When I stay with someone I treat being a guest in their place or sharing a place with utmost respect, cleanliness and friendliness is the best environment. Although not a deal breaker, would be a bonus to share with fellow mountain bikers. Also keen to share with social road riders, aside from River Loops and occasional Mt Cootha Laps, I prefer sticking to the Bike Paths. My ideal location would be close to Mt Cootha, eg. Toowong, Bardon, Auchenflower, Milton, Ashgrove, The Gap etc. Ferny Grove is also an option I might consider. I do need a parking spot for my car. Not bothered if it’s off street or on street.

3rd year UQ Student looking for my own space in a quiet and cool place. I'm independent, clean up after myself, and tend to keep to myself for the most part but very much enjoy catching up and having a casual chat with the roommates. I'm studying psychology at UQ, aiming to be a clinical worker in the future with a basis in neuroscience. I enjoy cooking, playing videogames, and jogging. If I make enough I tend to share out some of what I cook and am happy to have joint operations if planned ahead :) I am a light sleeper, and a night-owl (normally in bed by 1am, but sometimes go til 3am; don't worry I am quiet and usually just have my headphones on), so I would prefer to not share immediate walls with people who might not go well with that, but I'm pretty easygoing in every other regard.
