Hello! I've lived in Brisbane for the last 6 years and am looking for some easy going people to live with. I work full time as a geotechnical engineer and travel fairly frequently for work (away for approximately 2-3 months a year). I'm pretty active and am always doing something but also need a decent amount of quiet time. I'm clean and easy to live with so lets get this show on the road.
Hey! I'm looking for a place to live for 4 months near UQ while I work full time. I'm currently in Canada and will be travelling to Brisbane at the end of April. I'm looking for a non-smoking place to live with a private room that is furnished and contains a desk (ideally) that I can work at. I'm clean, quiet, friendly, and easy going and always down for hiking adventures or exploring Brisbane.
The house is located in Taringa, about a 2km walk to UQ and about 10km from the city. The house has a large open kitchen, dinning and lounge, with a nice backyard and massive pool in the front. There is on and off street parking, buses at every turn and 5mins from the taringa or Toowong train stations. Regarding bills, everything will be shared equally, Internet and Foxtel is installed, and water, gas, electricty will all be split when bills arrive!
Hi there! My name's Paul: I'm a well-balanced, tertiary-educated guy with a naturalistic world view and a burning desire to make a positive difference in the world. I'm great to live with for several reasons, but most importantly because I give a damn about the people I cohabit with: I'm clean, tidy, quiet and respectful, and I'll treat you like my best friend if you treat me the same way. I'm 33 years old, currently studying full-time at UQ, and I work casually in a teaching lab at the same university. I'm Brisbane-raised, so I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, but I also love to read, and will occasionally lose myself in a decent Netflix series. If you'd like to know more about me, feel free to ask; I'm a pretty easy-going guy, so you're likely to get an answer regardless of the question. :-)

Hi, our names are Lisa and Darryl and we have a comfortable house in Taringa that we would like some 'flat mates' to enjoy.... This Queenslander has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so no-one has to share (the bathroom). Bedroom 1 has an ensuite, bedroom 2 has its own bathroom, bedroom 3 has its own bathroom, living area and study nook (all on one level). All rooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fans and heating. There is a huge under cover rear deck and salt water swimming pool. The rear garden is fenced so a small to medium dog(s) would be comfortable here as well. Bus 414 to UQ and Bus 415 to City/South Bank/Valley is 200m from the door. So is a really good coffee shop and corner store. We are flexible with furnishing as we have most furniture available for the common areas but we are happy to help with whatever you need. The utility bills (electricity and gas) are extra and we would ask you to use a 'pay-as-you-go' arrangement. The house is available now and we are wanting to find 3-5 friendly 'flat mates' interested in living here.
Hi I'm Yas .. I am clean and tidy, quiet, and very easygoing. I've been sharing houses with diverse nationalities and age groups. So I have enough experience to share a flat with and respect others privacy.
Great unit, in an awesome location.Only a short 5 min walk to the Taringa Train station, buses to the city and UQ, and Toowong village is only a 10 minute walk. Room is unfurnished, but large enough to fit a double/queen bed and a desk. Plenty of wardrobe space and own private bathroom. Unit block also has a pool for those hot days!
Hey I’m Jonny, I’m 23 and working full-time as a Registered Nurse. I’m pretty new to Brisbane. I’m quite, clean and friendly; love meeting new people. Very easy going and respectful to others. I enjoy most things; always up for an adventure, the occasional drink or two on the weekend. However I also enjoy relaxing around home. I try to keep a healthy lifestyle. Ready to move anytime from now. Happy to move into an already established place or teaming up and finding a place.
Aaron, 23, always clean up after myself, Diagnostic Technician full time at Volkswagen, new to the greater Brisbane area for work, I have a 6 month old desexed female black Labrador and she's great. Like to socialise as much as possible, but also like my own downtime :).
Hi I am a clean easy-going house mate, non-smoker. Like to live with friendly housemates easy to chat with have a drink with on the weekend. However have their own life at the same time Not looking to live in a party house. Looking for a home not just a place to sleep. I am respectful of others. Prefer to live with people who have busy active lifestyles. No couch potato's or people who sit at home 24/7. Life is for living!!!
Hey! I'm Jacinta, 21 years old and I have two cute little/ very friendly dogs with me! They love cuddling and pretty much fall in love with everyone they meet/ vice versa. I am looking for a place that can take us / anyone that wants to team up with me to find our own property. I am currently studying at UQ and I work part time so I'm pretty busy but enjoy the weekends to go out for some drinks/ but I also love the old Netflix movie. Also I've lived in a number of share houses so definitely understand what it's like to be a respectful housemate and also looking for the same kind of housemate. Contact me if you have any questions :)

Hey there, my name is Anna and I am leasing an apartment in Taringa from the 25th of March and need someone to rent out the other room and share this sweet apartment with me! SO close to public transport to the city, Indooroopilly shops, Toowong shops, and The Univerersity of Queensland. It's a 170m walk to a direct bus to all these places. Key features of the property include: - Pool, tennis court, BBQ area - Private courtyard - Built-ins - Aircon in the living area (it's not a huge apartment so it could cool the whole space down) - Fridge and washing machine included and I will furnish the rest of the apartment (including your room for an extra $10 a week) Great for people working around the area or in the city, or UQ students. Unlimited Optus ADSL2+ Internet will be $30 each per month (I got us 20% off as I linked it to my phone account - yay!)
Hello :) Me and my boyfriend are looking for a room. We are Japanese and French couple who are tidy, friendly, responsible, easy going and love to meet new people and culture. We wanna find a "home" that we can be comfortable each other like a family!
Hey everyone, I'm looking for a smoker-friendly double room on the north or west side of brisbane, but still on the north side of the river. Preferably within half an hour from the city on public transport. My budget is $140 a fortnight or $180 including bills. About me: I'm Tash, 19yo from Brisbane and studying full-time in Milton completing my year 11 and 12. In my spare time I enjoy sketching, puzzles, reading, and being in nature, as well as going out occasionally on the weekends. I've been staying with friends for a while in a sharehouse and am wanting a more relaxed environment that's also stable, so living with 4 or less other people would be ideal. I need my space sometimes, (especially in the mornings before my coffee) but I'm easygoing and happy to be social otherwise. I also clean up after myself, and am respectful of other people's lifestyles, so I hope to find a house that is the same. Feel free to message me with any questions you have :)
I am in my third year of studying a Bacholar of Music at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music with a major in Opera Studies. Most of my practice is done at the institution so you wont have to worry about me making too much noise. I have grown up in a house of 6 people and so I know when people want company and when they want some space. I am very easy going and willing to do my fair share of house work. I work part-time at Bunnings so I know a thing or two about every day household problems. I may be slightly shy at first but I relax very easily once I get comfortable. Looking forward to meeting you!
Returning to Brisbane after traveling for 4 months 😊 I work full time at Pancake Manor (can definitely bribe you with the promise of free pancakes) and will return to uni at some stage studying psychology. I am quite social, but I also enjoy locking myself away for a week long Netflix binge.
