Hey, me and another young guy looking for a third or fourth person to move into a sharehouse with. We're friendly, clean and have a good sense of humor. I'm a student and Josef is working after uni. I'd like someone who's young, clean and moderately organized, but I don't have any preferences beyond that. I've had a lot of fun in my current house so hopefully we can have some good times together in this one. The plan is probably to go for a group buy on the house sometime around mid-december, so we'll have to start looking and apply as a group fairly soon. *Budget is $170 each by the way.
I am a current BICT student at UTAS, and an IT Services staff member at the same university. I have been homestaying for the past 3 years in New Norfolk but due to the time spent on the road every day, I have decided to look for accommodation closer to campus . I am a clean, tidy, quiet, organised person. I like to socialise, but I also enjoy private times and I respect others' needs. Hobbies include photography, bushwalking, physical activities, and adventures. I am a hardworking student who also enjoys helping other students out if they are struggling. I would prefer to start a sharehouse with a group of people - preferably uni students. If possible, I would prefer a house in Kingston due to my volunteering with Tas Fire Service. Move in times are highly flexible but certainly before Semester 1 2018. I don't have pets, but I don't mind people having pets (as long as they keep the house reasonably clean).
Hi all! I am newcomer in Hobart: I'm coming from France to do a PhD at the IMAS in Taroona. I am looking for an accommodation, share house, private room or whatever excepted share room. I would like to rent for long term if possible, as I am here for three years. I hope to have a car soon, but if the flat could be near a bus stop (which go to Taroona) it could be great too. I can be flexible, but preferred a rent around 200$/w max including bills. About myself: I am Marion, a 27 dynamic woman who studies as a PhD student at IMAS (also to improve my English, so sorry for the mistakes). I love to discover everything and the outdoors, I like spending time with friends and laughing, but I also know to stay calm and discreet and I like working at home. I like video games, and sometimes do a party. Maybe the point that could convince you: I love cooking especially dessert. I am not a difficult person, I could adapt myself to many situation, so do not hesitate to contact me if you are looking for a great roommate full of exchanges!
Hi! My name is Ink. I am a student at UTAS majority in Zoology. I'm outgoing, chill, vegan, love to meet new people, and open minded. I am a responsible young man who have a passion for vacuuming lol, cook mean vegan tofu scramble, can party but also enjoy his day/night-ins binge watching Netflix series. Love the outdoors, nature, environment and animals.
Peaceful, friendly with a good sense of humour. I am living in Hobart to complete my Masters in Psychology at UTAS so I am looking for somewhere relaxed and conducive to study. I am enrolled full time so at this stage I am not looking to gain employment while in Hobart though may consider it in time. I have been living in Kingston since I moved here in February but now need to move on from my current residence as the home owner is moving overseas.
House is in front of the bus stop. Next to the historic site, Taroona shot tower. Nice sea view from each room. 5 mins drive from Kingston city. A quiet and safe place, family oriented neighbourhood. A grate place for the university students. Ample space to park your car next to the house. All the facilities available Oven, electric cooker, Microwave, 2 Fridges, Washing Machine and iron. Very friendly Landlord. You will get your own electric heater in the room and you have huge wood heater in the middle of the house. Nice surrounding with a garden, you can do your own gardening. Weekly rent is negotiable.
Hello to everyone :) I'm graduated in Biology (Biodiversity), my boyfriend is doing a master in Aquaculcture. We are very quiet, sociable, tidy, clean, responsible people we like to cook (sometimes we cook Italian pizza). Thanks in advance to who will contact us!Cheers.
I'm very friendly and love people, love a good cook-up and chilling out too! Can talk about almost anything, but leave you alone when you need quiet too ;) I'll be needing plenty of alone time as a fast-track nursing student anyway. I am a disabilty support worker, non-smoker, neat and tidy around the home. I have a gorgeous 6yr old labrador I either can bring with me or leave with my folks if you can't have her, but trust me, you'd be missing out ;)
Soon I'm moving to Hobart from Queensland for work and so I'm looking for a share house to move into with like-minded types. I think 3 is a good number. A short bullet-point summary of me; I like socialising. This may include going out for meals and drinks at new places, playing bit of pub trivia, or going to watch bands. I amateurishly play a bit of music myself, however I fear the only instrument I'll manage to take down to Tasmania with me is a ukulele. When I find the time I like to cook for friends and housemates. Tonight we're having paella. :) I like outdoor activities - currently I do a bit of sailing and camping but I'll have to wait to see what I get into once I'm in Tassie.
Heya! I am looking to move down to Tassie from Sydney. I have spent a lot of time in Hobart over the last two years (monthly visits) and would love to make it my new home. I am ideally interested in Kingston/Kingston Beach/Blackmans Bay/somewhere on the water or close to a beach, but will consider other areas also. I have a bachelor in animal science and work with animals (animal transport/horse riding school) and I am in the process of applying for animal industry jobs in surrounding Hobart areas. There is also a possibility I will be doing some more study with an online course. I have two female border collie x kelpie dogs who I would LOVE to bring down with me (they love Kingston Beach and Alum Cliff track) but am finding it difficult to find pet friendly accomodation. If I am unable to bring them, that's okay. I'll be sad for a little while and talk about them lots, but they can stay with my parents in Shit-ney. I have previously lived in share houses with as many as 8 people in one apartment! I am super social and love a laff and bevvy with housemates. I'm a pretty rubbish cook but can clean / keep things tidy. I need and respect alone time to zone out and relax. I would love to find a place I can go to the gym, run/relax on the beach, do some exploring/hiking and make some new buds! If you have any questions or want to find out more - please hit a ginger up! :D (Moving date is very rough. Will move once i've secured a job. Ideally end of year/beginning of next).
I want to spend my summer in Hobart. I am a Sydney Uni student, in my second year studying Visual Arts. Apart from uni, I like spending time with friends and making new ones! I also have friends already in Tassie. I am a Christian currently attending church and leading youth group. I also teach recorder to yr3 students!? I used to work in a thai restaurant. I play the drums in a band, releasing an EP soon. (And of course I'm not taking my drum kit with me to Tassie!) I am a responsible, tidy, respectful and pleasant person to live with.

Engineering student from Sydney, moving to Hobart for the summer to work full time. Looking forward to meeting new people, exploring a new place and a whole bunch of new experiences. I'm outgoing and friendly and would like to live with someone similar. I like to live in a relatively clean house and enjoy cooking also. I also love the outdoors, so am looking forward to exploring all the beautiful Tasmanian natural landscapes.
Hi, I'm from Hong Kong and I have been running a household for my family over the past 4 years in Sydney, I have recently relocated to Tas for studies. Keeping everything neat, tidy and well-organised is my second nature. I like running and doing reading during my downtime. As I will be spending quite a decent amount of time on my studies and work to support myself, I really would like to find a quite place to rest and stay peaceably. I am no party animal and take a lot of care into my surrounding. Message me if you have a nice place there! Thanks.
I have just moved from Melbourne to start work as an orthotist/prosthetist in Hobart. I am an avid lover of nature, hiking, photography and animals - especially dogs! I have experience house-sitting (with 3 dogs and a cat), an awesome rental history with great references, and am very relaxed and easy-going!

The place is in a really nice neighbourhood, is quiet and close to Sandy Bay. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to uni. There's a fridge, oven and washing machine that came with the house, but me and my current housemates got the rest (table, chairs, coach, etc.) so there's no need to worry about that :)
Hey! I am currently living in Kingston and working part time, I'm only new to Hobart and have been staying with friends, I am looking at staying somewhere for around 6 weeks while I organise getting a place of my own! I'm a very tidy person and keep to myself most of the time, I love to have a laugh and always find the positives in situations!
Work for myself as a plumber, also studying for my pilots license. Sports usually take up my remaining free time. Pretty out going, I don't really spend much time at home... Which I guess is a good thing for you? Tidy and independent... I am an amateur chef, but I do make this pretty bad ass taco/burger/burrito thing.
I'm relocating from Queensland to do a 6+ month locum as a dental hygienist. I am a non-smoker and have a well behaved 12yo cocker spaniel (Bella). I will be working part time and spending time between Hobart and Maydena where my partner works. He may even spend some time in Hobart on the weekends he is not working. I like to cook, chill, watch TV and ride MTBs.

Hi everyone Myself and Jake have been traveling and working for the good part of the past 9 years. Mainly between Canada, USA and Japan, chasing winter. After such a long away i am so excited to be coming home to Tasmania and to finally enjoy a summer. We are lovers of outdoor stuff...surfing, snowboarding, hiking, lying in the sun, the usual. Also good food and socializing. We are both very clean, respectful and seriously laid back. I enjoy cooking and love a good family/flatmate dinner; can make a mean vegetarian lasagna. Look forward to hearing for you!
I'm a neuroscience PhD student who's approaching the light at the end of the tunnel; thesis submission. I'm looking to move due to my current housemate moving away, with any time in November suiting me. I do a lot of bushwalking and travel with my partner, love books, cooking and exercise-I'm also chained to the lab, so I'm not often home. My biggest must-have for flatmates is cleanliness and respect; it'd be great to live with like-minded people! I can actually be fun too-I love cooking for people, sharing meals, having a cheeky drink and exploring. In the house, I'll either be eating PB out of a jar, doing a crossword, cleaning or just chatting to housemates-I also definitely appreciate the need to chill out on your own too. Em
Hi! I'm a final year Bachelor of Pharmacy student studying at the University of Queensland, moving to Hobart to complete my internship from December this year. I will be working full time so ideally looking for housemates living a similar busy lifestyle. I'm quite a social person, however don't know many people in Hobart, so I'm not just looking for housemates, but equally social and friendly people. I love getting out on weekends and finding new adventures, live a generally healthy and active lifestyle, and am a decent cook. I've lived in share houses before and am a very considerate person. At this stage I'll be looking for somewhere I can stay for at least 12 months, if not possibly longer. Feel free to send me a message if you want to get to know me better :)
