Friendly, creative and light filled sharehouse looking for housemates who want to create a home. Wanting shared conversations, shared decision making, shared ethics and some shared meals. We range in age mid 20s to mid 30s and looking for someone of a similar age, who can adult when needed. We like to have communal areas moderately tidy and dishes in the dishwasher. Would be a great place to put down roots. The house: A homey renovated queenslander with room to share (450m2 I think). Wooden floors throughout, big airy and bright open plan lounge and dining areas. Two upstairs verandahs to have breaky or a beer on. Renovated kitchen with dishwasher. Renovated upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Some storage and bike parking under the house. NBN internet. The house is furnished- but the room is not furnished. On street parking. The rooms: It’s a 4 bedroom house with 2.5 bathrooms. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, one a permanent visitor room for any houseguests. The backyard is small and mostly the domain of the chickens but there are some raised garden beds if you have a green thumb. The location: On the boarder of Tarragindi and Annerley. Leafy area close to parks and dog parks. Close to south eastern bikepath that goes from Southbank to out as far as 8 mile plains. Buz stop 500m. Bruno’s coffee shop 500m. Café O’Mai 1km or so. Our ideal housemate: queer friendly, likes having communal meals and sharing food, mostly vego, environmentally conscious, people friendly. While we would like to occasionally have parties, it is not an every night party house- more a tea and craft-a-noon or dinner party friendly house. It is important for us to have a housemate that is also a friend.
Hey! My name is Lily and I work full time bartending in the city. I'm a fun, friendly and sociable person who has been sharing houses for 3 or so years now. love a good laugh so it'd be great to be able to chat and have a beer with my new housemate/s! but will always respect other peoples space :)
We have a room in a well connected Tarragindi Queenslander, all bills are included in the rent, including unlimited cable internet. Our new housemate must love/tolerate dogs! Our old beagle Napoleon lives here, he is an inside/outside dog. A bus to the city and Griffith (20 mins each way) leaves from outside our door (very handy)- would suit a student or someone that needs easy access to the city or M3. Let me know if you have any questions! :)
Looking for a Queenslander with a flatmate family to call home ☺️ Brisbane-grown gal passionate about good music, tasty food, adventure and nature. I work in a plant boutique on weekends and study Psychology through the week at UQ. I'm outgoing, optimistic, down-to-earth and value a good social atmosphere. I like to share food and help where I can, and I'm tidy, considerate and joyful. Hoping for a cool place to settle into long-term!
Professional couple looking for six months accommodation. We both work very long hours and so are looking for a quiet and comfortable place to come home to. We are non smokers, non drinkers, and and clean, neat and tidy people.
Hi there! Myself and my boyfriend are looking to move out and rent a room while we save for our own place! Would prefer a guaranteed length of stay of at least 1 year. My partner Max works full time (in his final year of study as well) and I work part time while studying (secondary education) full time. We are super tidy, friendly, respectful and barely go out drinking. We are pretty busy people but in our spare time we love to eat out, go shopping, binge Netflix and YouTube videos and exercise. We are looking for any kind of place (though an en-suite or own bathroom is preferable) and don’t mind who we live with as long as we get along!
There are many threads as to what makes me great to live with but here are a few. Emotionally intellegent . Mature minded, kid at heart. Considerate and patient. House proud and responsible. I have a cat who is such a gentleman. I have furniture and require some storage space for my camping gear. An outdoor area is important with some green space. Gotta be able to put my feet on grass 😊 I am a Community Support Worker and at times do overnights. Pretty much a quiet individual but embrace company and good conversation. I am a smoker currently but I am taking the steps to quit. Fingers crossed 😊
I am a 31 year old female full-time UQ student studying a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biomedical Science. I am at uni most days and am looking at doing a masters next year. I am friendly and respectful of privacy and space. I am looking for someone who is friendly, happy to share a meal every now and again and have a chat sometimes. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I do have a fridge and washing machine and a mattress that will need to be stored if not used. I’m looking for somewhere quiet and close to public transport. The below is not a complete list of suburbs so message me even if it is further afield. Also interested in teaming up.
We are a quiet young clean couple both studying at Griffith University with casual jobs, Matilda is studying Aviation and Evan is studying Psychology. We have an interest in keeping fit, cooking and board games.
Hello, my name is Ant and I currently live with my partner Courtney and our two labs Shadow and Laddie in Holland Park West. I work full time in admin for the city council & Courtney is a full time PHD student at UQ. Our lease ends the second week of Jan 2020, we're looking for another couple or one or two singles to live with in a bigger place in the inner city burbs. We're both quite active people, I play football and we both regular hit the gym and often take the dogs out on weekends. We don't mind having people over and are keen to find some like minded people, sharing that dog love is essential! If you're interested please don't hesitate to hit us up.
I'm from Rome, Italy and I'm reliable, clean, tidy, work full time and look after my 2 year old daughter when I'm not working. I like spending time outdoor but also have a chat or a glass of wine in company without it having to turn into a party. Like movies, books and animals
I’m a qualified electrician who would like to move closer to my workshop on the Southside. I’m a clean/ tidy, friendly, active and quiet person who doesn’t mind the occasional social outing. Throughout the week I will be at work during the day and most nights of the week will be doing night classes. I would like to team up with people who are like minded professionals. I also have furniture and white goods if necessary that I am happy to provide.
