Hey! I'll be looking for a new place to live at the start of JULY, I would love to meet some people who are looking to do the same, or have a room available. Both my roommates are moving on, one overseas and the other inner state to start her career. I work full time in Darra so I would like to stay south of the river, but still close enough to the city centre. I wouldn't mind living with either male/s or female/s, as long as they are around the same age. Preferably no more than 2 roommates. I've got a few things for a share house, fridge, microwave, kitchen stuff, dining table n chairs, outdoor setting, etc. I generally work during the week and catch up with mates and check out events, gigs, go to the beach, grab coffee and brunch, on the weekends. Feel free to ask me anything !
I'm clean, respectful and love cooking. I'm vegan and love animals
I work in retail part-time 5 days per week, I love animals ( my favourite being puppies), my favourite musical artists are Katy Perry, Noah Cyrus , Miley Cyrus ,Sheppard ,Miley Cyrus, and many more. I like to think of myself as independant, well mannered and I usually just do my own thing and keep to myself , however I like to talk and hold a good conversation. I don't go out and party so don't worry I am not a party person who will have parties on the weekend lol. I like to catch up with friends over coffee, go out to the shops and see movies. My background is Sri-Lankan and Indian and I'm born in Australia:) I would prefer an all female flat :)
From the Gold Coast so super easy going, very tidy and always pick up after myself. Don't want to do the commute to work anymore so looking to team-up or live with 1 or 2 girls around my age :) I'm pretty busy and always on the go, enjoy being social and going out with friends. Im looking for someone I can get along with and go out for coffee and have a mean feed with! A few glasses of wine on our balcony is a must too. In saying that, I love my own down time so looking for someone who enjoys time alone when needed. I'm all about communication and honesty so would like someone with the same values. Don't mind if you have a pet either, a good home always needs a furry friend.
This home is just 10 mins from the city, very close to a bus stop, very quiet, with lots of parking and lots of free extras. I live elsewhere. There are only females in the house. The house features: Cable Internet 100+ Mbps with WiFi Swimming Pool Appliances: Fridge, Washing Machine, Vacuum, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Dishwasher Big Backyard with a view There are three rooms: Room 1: 42" Smart TV, air conditioner, drawers, bedside table, clothes hanger with shelves, LED downlights, queen bed, private lockable entry. $150 p/w Room 2: 32" Smart TV, drawers, bedside table, LED downlights, double bed, private lockable entry, view of Mt Coot-tha. $140 p/w Room 3: 42" Smart TV, bedside table, LED downlights, single bed, pillow, door to pool, clothes hanger with shelves. $120 p/w All three rooms feature all furniture, an internet enabled smart TV with thousands of free movies and TV shows. All kitchen and laundry appliances are supplied. This house is quite amazing. It is the best of both worlds- close to the city, and the forest. It has the most beautiful sunsets every afternoon. The views are panoramic and expansive. There is a shared study for extra room for your desk. There is cupboard space outside the rooms. Restaurants are a 2 min walk. Supermarket/chemist/dentist/gym are 5 minutes away. The bus stop is only 2 mins walk, and just a 25 min bus ride to the CBD on an express city bus. Only 8km and 12 mins drive to CBD. Suitable house mates would be female, working/studying. The house has female housemates only. Males: please don't ask. Two weeks rent in advance, and $500 security deposit. The place is clean when you move in and must be clean when you move out. Cats are OK. No dogs, sorry. About the bills: Water is included. Electricity is $1 per day on top of rent. Internet is a bonus and is not charged. Air conditioner in bed #1 is 30c per kwh. There is nowhere beyond the room to store your old/extra/unused furniture, belongings or appliances, sorry. You must be able to clean up after yourself in order to live here. We are quiet after 10pm.
We are two dog and food loving humans who are clean and reliable. We are relaxed and like to go to the cinemas, find somewhere fun to eat or cook new recipes at home.
Studying IT at QUT. I'm a quiet guy and quite flexible and easy to live with. No gender or nationality preference although it would be better if roommates were closer to my own age 20-29. Having someone to have a chat with and hang out with occasionally is not a mandatory but would be nice. Vegan/non-vegan, doesn't matter. Keen on moving in the 1st week of June.
I'm currently a student studying paramedical science at CQU. I'd consider myself a very easygoing, happy, bubbly girl who is somewhat clumsy at times. I'm very neat and tidy and can't stand mess. I like to keep myself active and enjoy a spontaneous adventure. However I do enjoy my alone time every now and again. Because of this, I'd prefer my own bedroom/bathroom. Oh I also have my own Netflix account... you sold? 😂
Hey there is one room left in this house, looking for one more person to move in some time in June. Cat people most welcome. More details. The Master room is at the front of the house, upstairs with two other bedrooms 1 bathroom, dining room and kitchen. The other two rooms have one girl, and one guy respectively. Your bathroom and toilet are separate rooms. I occupy the other segmented part of the house, use a separate bathroom but share the kitchen and laundry. Good things about this place: -Busses straight past the door every 15 mins to City or to Garden City (route 120) -Griffith Uni is very close -Very cheap for the area -Built-in wardrobe -Large yard -Gardening maintained (by me) -The house is mostly furnished - you'll probably only need a bed. There's two working Fridge/Freezers, Washing machine. -Large garage and under the house you can store just about anything. Other than that, it's a basic house, and it's available now :) One thing - If you are studying at UQ and rely on busses, it is about 50 minutes on two busses and you probably might not enjoy this. It is more suited for Griffith Uni students because it is very close.
Great location whether you drive or catch public transport. The house is close to South East Freeway on-ramps in both directions, with a trip to the city taking less than ten minutes in non-peak times. If you take public transport, the Holland Park West bus station is only a two minute walk down the road. The house is three bedrooms and one bathroom but at the moment only one other bedroom is occupied. The room to rent is quite large and can easily fit a queen bed and desk if required (it's currently unfurnished but furnished is negotiable). There is a built-in wardrobe and ceiling fan. The rest of the house is furnished. Rent includes all bills (electricity and unlimited internet) and is payable two weeks in advance. There is also bond of two weeks rent.
I work full time in the medical field, am of mature age yet young in outlook and at heart. I enjoy my own space & will respect yours. I like being in a clean & generally tidy environment. I enjoy indulging in good food and the baking of it, I always go away on holidays about 3 times a year either overseas or intrastate, I am an independent person & would want you to be as well. On weekends I love going to the markets, long brunches as well as catching a movie. I love both dogs & cats but don't have any. I would like my own bathroom.
Hey there I am looking for a place to rent anywhere from Mt gravatt to Salisbury. I do security work most days Monday to Friday usually early in the morning but every now and then I will get the afternoon shift. I keep myself busy these days with gym, hikes/trips, reading, learning yoga and being out and about when I can. I enjoy having a laugh with my roommates but I am also respectful of peoples privacy and quite time. If you think we can get along and share some fun times shoot me a message
Hi All, This is going to be a long one so bear with me. I’m looking at moving to Brisbane come August, which I know is a little while away but I’d like to be confident I’d have a place to live before it gets too close. I have a 3 year old male German shepherd (desexed, micro chipped, all vacc’s up to date etc) whose super over the top friendly to everyone and every animal he meets. (Insert worst guard dog ever) He is toilet trained, obedient, only barks at strangers passing by & the postman (cliché’ right?) He’s been raised half inside and half outside alongside a cat, so he is cat friendly, however I would primarily like him to be outside only (except during storms, thunder buddies for life) He absolutely LOVES other dogs; in fact living with someone who also has a medium/large dog (friendly of course) would be great for him as he would have some company during the day. Smaller dogs aren’t so good simply because of his size. A large yard is not a necessity because he gets daily walks, and he sleeps for the better part of the day anyways so a small but fully fenced yard is suitable. About myself, I’m a 24 year old female, have no kids that I know of (Sometimes I’m funny), have been working in Office Management for the past 6 years. I bought my first home by myself when I was 20. And for the last 3 and half years I have been a DIY queen renovating my little abode. It’s now almost ready for a new family to temporarily take over so I can start my new chapter. I’m always up for social drinks and nibbles but can just as easily hibernate for days on end binge watching trashy TV. I cook, clean, mow, hell I’ve even painted an entire home interior twice. (Poor colour choice the first time, don’t ask) My point being, I understand the importance of house maintenance, so I’m very respectable in looking after another’s property. I’m well known for my sarcasm and quick/witty sense of humour, never a dull moment with me. I’m looking at a share house with other like minded females around the same age who are interested in a friendship, not just living with another stranger. Plus I don’t know anyone in Brisbane, so it would be swell to have some gal pals to show me the ropes of this wonderful city. Ideally would love to live within 20mins max of the CBD, I’m not fussed on which areas specifically just as long as it’s relatively close to the city. I’ll start my job hunt when I know for sure where I’ll be based. With that being said, whilst it’s likely I won’t have employment before I move, I will have a rental income from my property plus 6 months’ worth of savings prepared so rest assured paying rent will be no problem whatsoever. A furnished room would be ideal as I’m selling all of my own furniture and belongings; however this is not a necessity and I can get myself a set up if need be. And lastly (thank god I know) because I am a good 700km away, travelling to do an inspection is not really an option as I’d like to keep as much money aside for my impending unemployment. So if it’s suitable to do video chats/walk throughs of the property, just anything you can give me so I have an idea of the house would be really appreciated. But in all honesty, as long as there’s a room and a fenced yard for my sidekick and you aren’t a serial killer, that’s all that matters. Well if you stuck around to read all of that, I hope it was worth it and I’m the roomie you’ve been searching for. If you know you will have a room available, or one coming up in the near future, or even if you want to team up for a house in the coming months, just flick me a message and let me know. Just no calls during the day please as I do work full time. Thanks for your time (:
Hey I'm Matt! Looking for a fun house to live in! I work full time, love to cook up a storm but always clean up after myself, social and always down for an adventure but don't mind a good Netflix binge. Looking for the same sort of people
Just your regular 28 year old guy looking for a place south side of the river. Though social and friendly, I am starting to crave my own space and looking to move on from living with numerous people. Looking to find either my own place (apartment, unit, house etc..) or share with 1 other like minded person. If you know anything please pass it on :) casually looking right now. Budget and move in dates also flexible. Clean and tidy guy who has his life together. Gym + craft beer + sun + sports + xbox + fishing + lazy Sundays
The house is in a quiet corner of Tarragindi. A spacious room has basic furniture (a wardrobe, a single mattress, and a desk) but we can arrange if you don’t need any of them. It’s very convenient for transportation: next to the bike path, close to 3 different bus stops: 170,120 and Holland Park bus stop station, easily reach either UQ or Griffith or CBD, also could reach highway M3 in just about 3 minutes. There is a gas station nearby within 3 min drive and shopping places can also be reached within 10-15 mins. You can park your vehicle on the street/in the front yard/in the garage. There is storage space underneath, basic gym equipment at the back room and internet provided.

Hello! My name is Amelia. I'm a fun, tidy and very friendly person who is looking for a new place to live. I am a ceramic artist, so I spend Saturdays at my studio. Throughout the week I'm busy at the office where I work as a Project Administrator for a construction company. When I have down-time I love reading, baking goodies (which I am happy to share) and watching movies. Although I am young, I have been taught the value of independence and the resulting responsibilities. I take pride in my home and would love to share a space people who feel the same.
I'm a master student at Griffith Uni and I'm 28. I'm open minded, clean, friendly, and social. I cook the best grilled meat ever and I love camping, clubbing, and snorkeling. I always try to eat as healthy as possible and I exercise regularly.
