Welcome to our humble home, overlooking the beautiful Ashgrove golf course. Some house features: • This is a brand new house – modern design; • Your personal bathroom has a bath and shower; • Balcony for entertaining (currently being built); • Unlimited wifi internet (approx. $4 p/w); • LED lights throughout and a hot water system that is 100% solar powered for reduced ongoing expenses. Water is included in the rent and there is no gas to the house;. • Spacious living area - lots of natural lighting; • Generous-sized kitchen with walk-in pantry; • Air-conditioning and new appliances; • Laundry and outdoor clothesline; • Ample closet space for your belongings (both within your room and in the other parts of the house); • Your own car space; • Bus stop right out the front takes you straight into the CBD; • Local gym and servo within 200m walk; • Coles is just up the road; Note that as this is a freshly built place, some bits are still being finished off i.e. landscaping, balcony railing and internet installation. However, everything is scheduled for completion in December and the room is available for inspection now. Also, we've included a photo of your room with a queen mattress and furniture so you get an idea of the space, the room comes unfurnished though.
The house is on the main road of The Gap, but the house is hidden behind the awesome trees out the front and is close to the Gap Village, the golf club, BP, domino's pizza, 3 local gyms, Taylor Range and The Gap reservoir. Access to transport is like a 5-10 minute walk (380,381,385) and trips are normally 25-30 minutes (40mins peak hour). The house is surrounded by awesome greenery and the front yard is huge and has sooo much room for car space, as well as there is space underneath for a car(s) and storage. The boys are kind enough to leave us all the houses couches, both dining tables and chairs sets, TV unit, coffee table + small wall unit and they've agreed that we can negotiate to buy the washing machine and TV for a cheap bundle. The only furniture you would need to be bringing would be your personal belongings (bed, drawers,etc.). Internet and other bills will be transferred into my name and the boys have reassured me that payments are reasonably cheap when they come around and we can negotiate payment arrangements in the future. Both rooms in the house have cupboards for storage and both fit single/double/queen size beds, as well as a few slim drawers and chair/desk.
Hi my name is Javana, I'm 23 and I work in customer service and also study part time. I am friendly but respectable. I spend a couple (or more) nights with my boyfriend whether it be his or mine so I would prefer a place accepting of couples. I am a private person but I do know how to socialise and be friendly! I am very tidy as long as the house work is shared between everyone. If you think you can help me out please message me! But please make note of my move in date! Looking forward to hearing from you :)
A light and bright, modern 3 bedroom house with lots of natural light, large open plan living / dining and kitchen. There are two huge outdoor entertaining areas and a BBQ. The house is in a quiet and leafy street opposite a park, and close to hiking tracks. Bus is 400 m walk. There are two very nice double bedrooms available, both with built-ins.
This is a freestanding one bedroom house set in a private tree filled block. It has a deck, large open living/kitchen/dining with pot belly wood heater and airconditioning. Fitted kitchen with wall oven, dishwasher and fridge. Washing machine in separate laundry. Double bedroom has queen bed base and wardrobes. Near express bus to the city (8 stops) and Southbank. Can negotiate to make fully furnished if desired. A pet is welcome but it is not fully fenced. Water bill included and electricity daily charge so you just pay for the electric you use. This is a small one bedroom house with generous proportion in a quiet leafy area close to transport.

I spent 20 years in building industry as a carpenter, so handy in that area. 8 years ago i had to stop work due to chronic fatigue. Unsure what my future is at moment. looking for 6 months min stay and then take it from their.

I like to chill out with friends on the weekends & always keen to meet new people & have a laugh. If you are keen to team up, send me a message :)
Share house with two marure age working singles. And 1 friendly dog. Easy environment, fun, good separation. The room is spacious with a large built on robe, desk, ceiling fan and polished floorboards. Easy walk to the bus, shops and parks.
The house is fully furnished and there are two average sized bedrooms available without furniture. One has built in wardrobes. The other would be suitable for a study, TV room, etc. Easy walking distance to The Gap Village (20 mins) and buses (6 mins). It is on the top floor of a house that has separate downstairs accommodation where two other women and two dogs reside.
Easy going, just amicably seperated, looking for a nice place to settle, closer to my kids in Ferny hills. Non smoker, intermittent social drinker, quite and work long days Monday to Friday. Fully employed occupational hygienist with good job security. Children, two teenagers, very well behaved may occasionally sleep over on irregular weekends. Like to keep a tidy ship end not averse to house work. One person only, webpage wouldn't accept the application for some reason on one.
Hey! My name's Daniel, obviously; I'm 21 and working full time to save for an overseas trip in May 2017. I'm pretty easy going, if I'm not working then I'm either at the gym training for an upcoming INBA competition and future job in the Defence Force, or at home reading a book or binging a TV series... but don't get me wrong, I'm always down for a couple of cold drinks and a story in the afternoon with my new flatmate family.
Recently seperated, just looking for somewhere to get my 2 kids and i back on our feet. Looking for something short term. Have own transport, can cook, like a tidy house, animal lover and i enjoy craft, especially sewing.
Hi! My name is Nicole and my partner and I, and our 7 year old whippet cross sausage dog, Marley, are looking for a room to rent. I am currently unemployed. I gave up work to become my mother's full time carer when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Prior to that I worked at Nandos for almost 6 years. I am looking at getting back into the workforce soon enough though. Stuart works as a painter (walls and ceilings etc, not the canvas sort of painter) and is fully employed. We are both friendly people, can cook, and neat and tidy. Stuart has a somewhat dry sense of humour and I tell him often that he is not as funny as he thinks he is... He disagrees :) He is also more apt at fixing things than I am, from leaky taps to servicing our car and as he's nearly a foot taller than me, he doesn't need to stand on a chair to change a light bulb and he is a good spider killer too. Marley is friendly also though pretty meek but if you give her a ball she will never leave you alone! Some days she drives me barmy! I also have a 14 year old daughter who resides with her father down the gold coast. I would like her to be able to visit on the occasional weekend if it wouldn't be inconvenient to you and when she can fit it into the oh so busy social schedule of a teenage girl. We are looking for something that will see us through Christmas/ New year with the hopes of finding something more permanent early in the new year, however we can get on with our house mates we may never leave, or you may not want to get rid of us!! Thanks!
Laid back, tidy, mature, friendly gal looking to share with similar aged people. I work part time in hospitality and spend the rest of my time working on my online business. I am sociable and enjoy a wine and a chat after work but also enjoy my alone time. P.s. as much as it saddens me, i am allergic to cats :(
I am currently living in a share apartment with a small courtyard and am wanting to move somewhere with a big fenced backyard (with a pool if possible) so that my dog Baxter can have a happier life being able to run around outside. And I will soon be bringing my cat up from SA so looking for somewhere that is happy to have a dog and a cat as furry friends too. One of my current housemates may be wanting to move with me to a larger place too so am in a state of unknown at the moment but just wanting to see what is available now. If he is keen we will need a place with 2 rooms available that is close(ish) to the city as he works there and uses public transport. Should know by end of December. Our current lease doesn't end until February 2017 so if a great option comes up then will look at breaking the lease or replacing me/us. Baxter is only 9 months but the sweetest natured dog I have ever met. Great with adults, children and other animals. He is Maremma x German Shepherd x Border Collie x Cattle Dog. My cat Lola is a Ragdoll and like most cats is possibly bipolar and is either wanting to play or keeping to herself. Both pets are currently inside pets but will be converting them to outside pets mainly but want a place that is happy to have them inside still for cuddles every now and then or when it is bad weather. I have my own creative and consulting business and work mainly from home so looking for a place with a largish room that I can also use as my workspace. I am hopefully enrolling in part-time study next year to do biomedical science at UQ so I will most likely have my nose in books or my computer working a fair chunk of the time. I'm not really a party-goer but like an environment that has a homely vibe where everyone can have a laugh and get along but also happy to have their own time too. I love hiking, travel, being outside, exploring/trying new things. Also regularly take Baxter to the Nudgee dog beach so trying to find a place close to the river to go for walks or hikes at Mt Coot-tha or close to a dog friendly park. Needs to above the river as most my commitments are there and I want to avoid paying tolls or long travel time daily. Most important thing to know about me is I am considerate and polite and respectful of others in share accommodation and get along with most people. Love learning new things, cultures, and people. But, I can't stand liars, rude, contradicting or untrustworthy people so if that's you maybe skip past me.. ;p
My sister and I are looking at moving to Brisbane in the next few months. I work full time for a company and plan to transfer, while my sister has just come back from working in the USA and is hoping to find full-time work. We are both very social and familiar with shared living.
Hey! I currently work fulltime at Mount Coot-tha for a TV station and I've been renting around Taringa for the past 3 years - and love the area. I enjoy eating out, going out, having a drink after work and going for runs along the river - or just staying in and binge watching netflix. I also love music festivals, traveling, dogs (allergic to cats) and coffee. I'd like to move by mid January, ideally looking to stay around Toowong/Taringa (train line / bus lines) - but I'm keen to explore new areas. I have my own communal appliances and furniture to bring with me if needed. Shoot me a message or text if you have any questions, whether that's to start a new place or fill a spot, and we can grab a coffee - Thanks!
One unfurnished spacious room available in cute Queenslander in Ashgrove. The room has enough space to fit a double bed, sidetables, a desk, and a wardrobe very comfortably. The room has large windows looking onto the street and let in the breeze. The room has a ceiling fan and beautiful hardwood floors. The kitchen and lounge also provide spacious living areas with beautiful natural light flooding in. It has a massive backyard that is mowed every two weeks and is included in the rent. Underneath the house is a huge amount of storage space and undercover garage. It's only a 12 minute drive to Brisbane central and is perfect for a student as the bus stop on Waterworks Road is only 30 metres away from the house.
The place if a lovely house in Ashgrove. Both rooms are very large and can comfortably fit a double bed, wardrobe, desk and side table. Super close to public transport (less than 100m) with 3 different buses that go to the city. The house has polished wooden floors throughout, bathroom has been upgraded, heaps of storage space under the house, massive back yard, curtains are newer and block out the sun almost completely and rent includes yard maintenance.
Positioned on a quiet street in the highly sought after "St Johns Wood", situated amongst leafy surrounds and welcoming tranquility is your new oasis called home. YOU CAN CHOOSE TO NOT BE TIED DOWN TO THE LEASE! ( the flexibility matters :) ) The home offers: - Easterly facing deck; the perfect spot to start the day or have quiet nights under the stars - 2 car lock-up garage - Additional under-house storage - Unlimited wifi by OPTUS - Near a bus stop (400m walk through a park) - Gleaming polished timber floors - Generous storage throughout - Air-conditioning perfect for the summer YOUR ROOM HAS: - Built in wardrobes - Mirror - Ceiling fan - You can easily fit a double bed :)
Hello flatmates! This is a well presented 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom spacious home. The house has beautiful polished hardwood flooring throughout. It also has a brand new bathroom and stylish built in wardrobes! Your room is also freshly painted, and can be furnished or unfurnished. Parking is available if required. Rent includes all bills, unlimited high speed internet, Foxtel, use of BBQ and all appliances. The house is located on a main road providing excellent bus services 6km to the city. It is situated in close proximity to local cafes and restaurants, with Woolworths, Coles, and Aldi nearby. There are numerous parks and bike paths just a stones throw away!
There are 4 great things about living in this property. 1. The rent is cheap. 2. The train station is a 2 min walk away. 3. Pets are accepted so long as they live outside. 4. Everyone gets along. All bills (elec, water and internet) are shared among the flatmates.
Your gorgeous new summer home awaits you, with a big 2.5 acre block, and a pool you can see from your own private top floor (inc your own bathroom). All utilities are included in the rent, to save the hassle. There is plenty of parking space, but the app isn't letting me select that option.
Easy going full time working professional (IT / Projects) looking to house share within Brisbane region. Clean and Tidy and social personality but also always respect my flatmates space. Good with pets (especially dogs! lol) and easy working in with flatmates when it comes bill sharing, etc. I commute to CBD daily for work so would be great to find a place close to train lines. Originally from NZ and been in Brisbane for almost 3 yrs now, during the week i'm pretty boring (lol) normally just busy working, gym, and a little study or TV comprises my daily routine, but on weekends love to get out to the Sunshine Coast or GC when is sunny, or hit the local and watch rugby / sports. As mentioned I'm super laid back and respectful as a flatmate, and looking to fit in with a cool bunch who would hopefully end up awesome mates as well as flatties! Feel free to ask me any questions.
I keep out of the way and am busy with my crafts. I am moving back to Australia from New Zealand and will be looking for full time work. Good sense of humour however I like my own company.
I am a social person who likes a chat, but I also value my privacy and quite downtime. I am currently in between jobs, but am actively looking for work, I am currently on Centrelink payments. While I am 17, I will turn 18 in January. I have been told that I am mature for my age, which my current housemates would agree with.

I love to bake and make cakes - which is a hobby that I try not to let take over my life. I keep to myself mostly and enjoy the quiet, but I can get quite gabby once you get to know me. I promise not to sing too loud in the shower and I will replace the toilet paper if I see it running low. And on that note - thanks for stopping by!
Hello! I'm breaking lease to move in with my boyfriend so my large master bedroom with ensuite, walk in robe and balcony are up for grabs! The house is about 5 years old and has all of the mod cons, including air conditioning and a small backyard that requires hardly any maintenance. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Mitchelton which is walking distance to the train station and a variety of food options. There are three people living there now that are about to re-sign the lease for another 12 months. Ben, Aiden, and Brie are are all in their mid 20's and work/study. They would love it if another person moved in who was of similar age. Brie has her own little photography business and works in hospitality, Aiden is studying building design and works in the motor industry, and Ben works in retail and loves movies and xbox. The house is fully furnished so all you would need is your bedroom furniture. The rent is $164 per week, however if this is a little steep for you Ben is also offering his room for $153 per week which you would then share a bathroom with the other two. I'm moving out on the 16th December so the room is available from that date on wards. Let me know if you are interested in meeting everyone, seeing the house, or if you have any further questions :) *Ill update the photos shortly, these are from when the realestate listed the property 12 months ago.

Its a great house in a lovely leafy suburb. Decking front and back, with a nice sized garden. It has air conditioning, Foxtel and wifi. The main rule is you must be a cat lover. Updated: North Brisbane **specifically looking for a granny flat thanks :)** Hi I'm Amy, a 23 year old cake decorator working 3 days a week for a small company located on Brisbanes South Side. However I am considering returning to volunteering and studying next year and would strongly consider moving closer to my partner. I'm passionate about baking and all things cake/deserts. I am a fairly harsh critic and rarely live up to my own standards. I'm always looking for constructive criticism and am willing to share my baked goods. I enjoy going to the markets, baking, reading, fithooping (weighted hoola hoop), walking, Kitten D'amour and board games... I really enjoy board games! I am fairly kept to myself and have a small circle of close friends. At present I am only looking for a grannyflat. My partner lives in North Brisbane and is currently studying and working so I am usually away on weekends. If you feel I would be the right tenant for your property I would love to hear from you! Kind Regards, Amy
