Hello future housemates, My name is Ali, I'm from Dubai, practically born and raised there but life is all about new chapters and I'm moving to Adelaide in mid July with my wife to start a new chapter. I'm a Marketing & Advertising professional and will be looking for a job in Adelaide. I've studied from the University of Wollongong, have great linguistic skills (actually know 5 languages), if you're interested you could probably learn a new language :) Ayesha is also from Dubai, born and raised there and was a BBA student before we decided to move cities. Hopefully once we are settled she'll continue her Bachelors degree in Adelaide. However before that she'll probably be looking for work and enjoys cooking. My wife and I love to keep things tidy and always clean up after ourselves, having said that we'll do the dishes, laundry, lean up the place, etc. I love sports, whether that's playing, watching or discussing, I also try to keep fit so you wont have a couch potato as a housemate, however Netflix and chill doesn't sound like such a bad idea. We enjoy getting to know new people and will ensure you are comfortable during our stay together. Having said that we can stay to ourselves and keep the volume down so wont get in your way if you prefer that. Either way respect is what matters most :) We are all in for a team-up and starting a new place, share the utilities expenses and what not. Look forward to hearing from you soon. :)
Photos of house up soon. Big, old, feature filled three bedroom residence with large yard, vegie beds and the tallest trees in the neighbourhood hanging over the back fence..., super close to the west end of the city and Bonython park/ River Torrens, one tram stop from corner of North Terrace/ West Terrace, and just down the road from the iconic Wheatsheaf Hotel. Smoking OK, outside house. Big open kitchen, comfy spacious lounge, large bedrooms, separate toilet from bathroom. Close to shops, food, transport, Thebarton Oval, Thebarton Theatre, etc. Top house in a top spot. 3-6 months preferred but longer term negotiable for the right person.
Moving out of a wonderful home soon sadly as I'm living in a good friend's room for 7 months while she's overseas and she's about to need her room back! Full-time Uni student, part-time Marketing Coordinator. I travel to Melbourne quite a bit for work also. Love music, very placid and easy going, pretty into my studies and work however also very social and love my friends and hanging out. Have been doing the house mate thing for a while so I know all of the unspoken rules of house share and drama won't be an issue with me as I avoid it like the plague. Looking to score a one bedroom/studio or share a homely space with like minded, cool people :)
I am mature age with own furniture. Unfortunately my art deco "heritage listed" home of the last 10 years has been knocked down and I have to find a place for myself and possessions. (I can't do without my big screen TV's, computer equipment or 16 drawer office furniture, but can put the rest in storage if need be). I am single, have references spanning many years and would like to view properties pending initial chat/conversation. I would prefer to live quietly in a home with privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. Please let me know of a time agreeable to discuss possibilities. Kind Regards, Michael .
We are very outgoing and friendly young couple. We respect others values and privacy. We maintain hygiene as it is very important for us. We are students at UNISA and will be busy with studies and work throughout the week. We are also cool with pets and are looking for houses near to the Uni as it will be convenient for us to communicate with uni and work. We also love to visit new places around Adelaide and are adventurous.
I work full time as a civil estimator and have been doing fly-in / fly-out for the past 18 months. I spend most of my week working in Underdale and fly home to Brisbane for weekends. When home (In Adelaide) I enjoy watching Netflix and often "think" about enjoying some exercise. I also enjoy travelling when work lets me, I'm heading to Africa in August :) I'm a non smoker and very respectful of others.
Hi! I am a Psychology student from the Netherlands. I have lived in shared student houses before and I am a tidy and sociable person :) Looking for a room not too far from North Terrace Campus.
I'm a very social person who is always up for a laugh/beer. I'm not the kind of a person who counts his apples in the fridge and more than happy to share stuff. I'm always happy to help others to the best of my ability and totally accustomed to living in shared accommodations as i've lived in shared houses in UK and Australia before. I'm moving from Delhi to Adelaide between 1st - 10th July 2018 and looking for a furnished room close to city in a shared house with like minded people. I'm happy to live with any gender.
I work full-time, Monday to Friday from around 8.30am to 5pm. I am warm, friendly and easy to get along with. That said, I'm more of an introvert and tend to prefer doing my own thing. Outside of work, you'll typically find me reading or watching TV series. I've had housemates before and understand the perfect balance between being sociable and respecting others' space and privacy. I'm very well house-trained and pro-actively contribute to household cleaning and other chores.
I'm a 22 year old medical student (currently in 4th year) that works part-time in medical admin. Originally from rural SA but have been in the city for 5 years now. I will be completing a rural placement in Whyalla from June - August so the room will largely just be for weekend visits to the city and to store my things. I am looking for a place to stay that is close to the city and public transport (nRAH parking is a nightmare)! Happy to live with any gender or couples. I would love to be able to bring my Australian Kelpie 'Champ' along to stay with me but I understand that it may not be possible. Would love to come and have a look at any rooms available - not a big fan of apartments though!
Hey there I’m looking for a cheap and cheerful house share close to the cbd, preferably west side. I’d love to live with other creative left leaning folk in a more communal share house. My main gig is as circus performer and I like to make art in my spare time. I just finished up a season of shows in Perth and Adelaide Fringe and I coach circus part time. I have aspirations to train overseas mid-late next year so for the time being I’m settling in Adelaide and hoping to pick up some hospitality work and save up. I love to cook and I spend a lot of time hanging out in the kitchen or garden and listening to music. I’m more likely to have my friends over for dinner than throw a house party but I’m not opposed to the occasional shenanigan. I’m generally pretty tidy and clean up after myself. I actually like to vaccuum and don’t hate cleaning the toilet. Historically I have paid my rent on time. I don’t smoke but I’m okay with smokers as long as they only smoke outside Anyway shoot me a message if you have any questions!
The house is close to the city and is in excellent condition. Each room has its own wardrobe. It has a large kitchen and outdoor entertaining area. This is a great share house to live in. Furnished or unfurnished available. Walking distance to the tram stop with bus alternatives. Ensuite available to individuals. We are all young professionals working close to the city.
I'm Kevin, 24 years old; from India. I'll be studying in UniSA City West campus. I'm looking for a furnished room in a house or flat (long term), preferably in the vicinity of my campus. I'm well organised, tidy, quiet and respect personal space. My hobbies include travel, cooking, photography and gym. I'm looking to live with people who are easy-going. Please do ask if you'd like to know anything more. Thanks
The house is very impressive! Very new, lots of natural light and brilliant location. It has 3 bedrooms, an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets and front and back courtyards. The room available is a large room with an en-suite, balcony and robe. The current tenant will be moving out shortly. House features include a ducted airconditioning in all rooms, alarm, wireless internet, gas cooktop, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine, lounges, dining room table, BBQ, wine racks, etc. The townhouse is located in Thebarton - which is 5 minute drive from the city and 5 minute walk to the trams, which are free to and from town. Rent is $220 p/w paid 2 weeks in advance. The house has gas and a 500GB internet plan. All bills are split three ways equally. Any questions just ask!

- Male, late twenties - Work full time as a surveyor - Down to earth, respectful and easy to get along with - Like to keep things neat and tidy - Interests include the outdoors/nature, camping, hiking, music, sport - Enjoy a casual drink, good food/coffee and being social but at the same time enjoy time to myself and chilling out!
I’m creative, honest, trustworthy, considerate, and with a sense of humour! I like time on my own, but also like to socialise and share meals together, have a wine with music, or watch a movie. :) I enjoy gardening, boho decorating and diy. I also have a small dog, who brings me great joy! His name is Mojo, and he’d love a doggy friend to play with, if you have one. We are looking to move back to Adelaide (from country SA) sometime during this year, but do not yet have an exact timeframe. I will be either working or studying part-time when I return, and will likely spend my free time being creative. I may also have my girlfriend stay over on occasion (once I find one! Hahaha)
I'm 20 years old and currently in Queensland. I will be moving to study International Development at Adelaide Uni in July. I'm fairly introverted and quiet and like my own space. I don't party or drink and am very respectful/ don't like drama. Chilled out vegan. Love cooking, gardening, yoga, nature, exploring new places. I have a friend in Adelaide who can check out places for me.
I am very chill and easygoing, and I keep things tidy. I will probably have my head down studying a lot of the time, but I love people and am certainly keen to socialise. I kind of just adapt to whatever the vibe is in the house, I like to socialise but I also don't mind spending time by myself if need be. I'm new to Adelaide from Perth, and I study Psychology at University of Adelaide. I like getting to know people, chatting about any topic, running & keeping fit, playing/writing music, and I like to get out in nature when I can. I'm not against the occasional social drink too.
I currently work for Great Southern Rail on the trains. It's a part time job but I'm away for anywhere from 3 days to 1 week at a time. Outside of work I like to spend my time cooking, hanging out, cycling, hiking and skiing (when the weather permits). I have been living in share accomodation for a year and half now. I am very considerate of others and tidy but as an extrovert I also like a good chat. I also like to keep the house nice and tidy but relaxed about it also haha. The reason I am looking to move from my current area is that I am pursuing a career as a Police Officer. As much as I would love to stay where I am currently, I need to move closer to the training grounds.
I am a 23 yr old male young professional, also wrapping up studies at uni. My girlfriend is a 21 yr old female, studying full time at university. We are a joyful, dedicated but relaxed couple looking to rent **TWO ROOMS**. We love a few drinks occassionally but are focused on getting our work done. If one of the two rooms were to be available before and the other after, that is not a problem as we do not need to move in at the same time. Would love it if one of the two rooms was an ensuite but thats not a requirement. A bit of flexibility with furnishing is preferable as my girlfriend would potentially like to accommodate her double bed. A safe neighbourhood, locks on doors and decent dedicated housemates are a MUST. Availability of parking on the property would be important as we have one car but on street parking (in a safe area) can be accommodated. Please get in touch if you can propose a place similar to these requirements. Happy to team up with fellow room hunters with similar requirements! Look forward to hearing from you soon :)
