I originally came to Adelaide for an internship at Flinders University but have recently been offered an amazing job opportunity, which is why I am looking for a room or flat from early November until early March (exact dates are flexible). I’ll be in Adelaide until the end of August and am available to view your flat in person during this time. After that I'll return to Germany to see my family for a while, so could only do online viewings. I'm an outdoorsy person and love doing sports, especially gymnastics and volleyball. I also enjoy reading, hiking, cooking and having deep conversations. I am a friendly, clean and calm person who enjoys meeting new people. Having lived with a host family during my exchange year in the US and in a shared flat in New Zealand for a year after graduating from high school and the past few months in Adelaide, I would describe myself as an experienced and pleasant flatmate. As I will be working at a lab at the university most days, a room or flat near the uni would be ideal, but I’m also very interested in places near the CBD or near the beach, and I’m happy to commute by public transport if needed. My weekly budget is $350 including bills. As I am coming directly from Germany, I’d need the accommodation to be furnished.
