I am friendly to live with. I am an international student from Hong Kong but don’t worry I can speak fluent English because I studied in Brisbane high school for more than 2 Years before. I always keep my things tidy and organised so there won’t be any of messy room stuff. I play outside sports such as basketball and when I am at home I like to play computer games in my spare time.
From Sweden, in Brisbane for my MSc thesis project at UQ until the end of May. Outgoing, easy to live with and probably going to spend a lot of time at the lab at UQ anyway (: Looking for a place to stay asap until the end of May. My boyfriend is expected to arrive at the end of February at the latest, so preferably I'm looking for a room where I can stay by myself first but where he is also welcome. He will also do a MSc thesis project at UQ. Happy to answer questions about myself. Cheers!

I am an adventurous, friendly 20 y/o girl from Norway. In February I'm starting my first university degree in Information Technology at UQ, and I'm looking for a room in a share house or to team up and look for a place together in Brissie from early February - early July/August. I'd love to be friends with my roommates, and maybe do something fun together during weekends. As a person I am easy going and social, yet I respect the need for privacy. I'm tidy and always on time with bills, and I don't smoke nor have pets. For fun I like to go out for drinks, binge Netflix, go to concerts, go hiking or relax at a café. I love a good craft beer or a nice cup of cold brew or tea. If you're interested, message me and we could grab drinks or coffee to get to know each other before commiting to a lease!
Hi! I'm Holly and I'm moving to Brisbane to start uni in February. I'm from a small country town and just finished school. I'm looking for something student friendly close to the Queensland College of Art at South Bank which is where I'll be studying animation. I'd make a great roommate because I'm patient, understanding and grew up with siblings so I know how to get along with people. I'm quite social but also enjoy time to myself. I'm interested in music, art and film. Feel free to message if you have something available :)
I'm an easy going guy who's reasonably care free, cleans up after himself, works regular hours with general overtime. After work i like to come home and relax in the evenings when I'm not playing soccer, training or building my personal business empire. Home internet is super important to me and the quicker, the better. I don't mind paying for quality. On my weekends, when I'm not Home, I enjoy going for a social drink, head to the Roar games, spend time on the beach or head out into the countryside for some scenery.
Hey everyone me and my girlfriend will be moving to the Brisbane from the UK in the middle of January 2018. We are looking for a place for us both to live in a shared house or team up. We can be flexible where but ideally somewhere with good transport links to both the city and the University of Queensland. We will both be working and I will also be a full time student at UQ. We are clean and tidy and a fun couple. We enjoy meeting people and socialising with others. I'm also a great cook (so I have been told) so I will certainly be cooking up some meals for you all to sample. We will be in Australia for at least 4 years (as per our Visas) so looking for a great place / house mates on a long term basis. Please get in contact if anyone is interested in either teaming up or have a room spare!
I am a fun and bubbly American about to pursue my Masters at UQ in February. I would definitely say I'm an extrovert, as I love meeting new people and exploring new places. While I will need my space once in a while, I love to chit chat, listen to music, watch movies, have a beer, etc. I am hoping to find flatmates who are social but will also respect the importance of studying, work obligations, etc. I've been living with roommates for quite a few years now so I definitely understand the importance of keeping the place clean and respecting the space of others. Looking for location that balances out UQ and the city center!
I am an easy going, caring and generous person. I don't mind the odd drink on a fri night and I also like to go to the gym. Excited to move to Brisbane and experience the new lifestyle. I currently working and studying part time. Looking to live with other easy going people. I would prefer a mainly female household, needing parking but also close to public transport as I will be working in the city. I am 33 years old and i am able to clean up after myself and respect others. Currently living on the gc, needing to move up mid feb for a permanent job.
Hi, I'm a 2nd year UQ Occupational Therapy student looking for a relatively new place to move in. I am looking to move into a place where I would be living with the owner of the property. I am reserved, clean, respectful, and easy-going & would like to live with someone who is similar. Most of the times I am busy with university schoolwork as my schoolwork is the most important aspect of my life right now. During my down time, I like to watch Netflix and definitely don't mind the occasional chat however, I am able to respect personal spaces. I don't drink, I don't party. I've worked in the hospital environment for the past 4+ years as a Physiotherapy Assistant. I may have the occasional study partner come over but I will give appropriate notice I have 4+ years of experience sharing a household with the owner and come to understand that good communication and common sense is essential. Feel free to message me if you are interested. Thank You Aadil
Hi there, My name is Serena Lovell and I am from the FIJI islands. I have just been admitted at the University of Queensland in the Biomedical Science program. My studies are top priority but I am a very affable and easy going person who loves to banter over a glass of wine but also do understand the need for downtime and privacy. Avid surfer and would join you in any outdoor action if you would ask. I am clean and reliable when paying rent and bills. I'm currently traveling in Europe and will move to Brisbane on the 13th February.
3rd Year engineering student, busy with work and study during the weeks but I like to socialise on weekends. I clean up after myself, considerate of noise and of other peoples spaces.
A 21 yo Singaporean female. Will be studying in UQ. I will be flying over on the 10 of Feb. I can be outgoing but at times, need my own 'me time'. I don't mind if you've got cat/dog(s) at home. I used to have both of them at home, in Singapore.
My name is James Cowling I'm 20, studying Architecture at UQ. Hoping to find a place to live before university starts again in late Feb. I've lived in Brisbane for the past two years in Taringa so looking around the same area, but open to new places. Easy to live with and respectful of personal space as well as tidy. Open minded and easy to get along with. Hoping to find other like minded people to live with and become friends for the next year.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor and is fully furnished including the room. We are situated 10 minutes walk from Toowong shopping centre which has an abundance of public transport, a couple of good pubs and generally good amenities. Street parking is available. The third room is currently being used as a study/guest room, so it would only be 2 people, including me, living in the unit meaning that you would have your own bathroom. There is a pool table and BBQ which would be fantastic if you enjoy having friends over to hang out.
Moving from Melbourne to study Health Science at UQ in 2018 - Looking for a social house to help the move a little easier! (Please also note that living in Melbourne generally means I cannot inspect the place, but i'm down to facetime/skype and meet you! ) I'm always up for a coffee and am looking for a household that get on and are fine with even having a chat in passing or sitting around for a beer. I care less about the quality of room (the only detail i'm really fussed over is if there is parking for my little SUV) Very well versed in shared living, 3 years on campus sharing with 9 others and 1 year off campus sharing with 2 boys. My current place is a 2 bedroom unit shared with a girl I met on Flatmates and we became friends who live together ~ If you think I might suit your place, throw me a message :)
Hi, I've been living in an awesome shared townhouse in Toowong for 3 years, time has come where the other house mates are moving out of Toowong. I work full time in Toowong so living somewhere close to here is preference so I can do a slow lazy walk or ride to work. I'm originally from Melbourne, moved up here for the consistent sunshine, never looked back. I always keep shared spaces clean and tidy after using them, but I'm no clean freak. I have no gender preference. I would prefer a two bedroom place, but also happy to do a three bedroom place if it comes to it. Always happy to chat and a laugh with the house mates when I see them and have done social outings with them in the past. I'm normally quite busy with full time work, my business after hours and other social events. Interested in starting a fresh place or move into an existing place. It will most likely be my last or second last year for renting before purchasing, so looking at 1 year minimum. My current lease ends 29th January, but happy to sign a lease a few weeks earlier if needed for the right place.
Hi, I'm a 2nd year UQ Physio student looking for a relatively new place to move in. Prefer to team up as well. I find myself reserved, clean, respectful, and easy-going & expect my potential flatmate to posses similar qualities. Most of the times I am busy with uni work or my online start-up. During my down time, I like to stay active, compete in team sports or go out. Definitely don't mind the occasional chat/beer or two, however, also know to give space. Have 3 years of experience sharing a household with other people and come to understand that good communication and common sense is essential. Hit me a message if you think we can work something out!
