I'm an international full-time student from Dubai starting at UQ in Semester 1, 2017 (Environmental Management). I was studying in the US (Chicago) before. I'm super tidy and clean (like keeping everything super clean but won't mind if it's not), and pretty decent at cooking too. Easy going, and always ready to help a friend. I am always respectful towards everyone and will give you your privacy. Doesn't mean I don't like to chill out and have fun. I love going out and playing sports. I play football (Soccer), badminton and Quidditch (no, i'm not kidding, it's a pretty physical sport!), and good at picking up other ones too. Love spontaneous adventures and ready to walk/hike any and everywhere. I'll be new to the city and the country, so I would like to explore a lot during the weekends provided I have the time. Always down to watch a movie or tv show. Join me for small adventures if you want! :D I don't mind living with anyone, so if you have a room to offer or are looking to team up, Hit me up! :) (That was two too many "up's") PS - The closer it is to the university the better it would be.
My name is Grant. I am a 48year old. I am a fairly quiet & reserved type of person. I am friendly & respectful of others but I do tend to keep to myself. I am neat and tidy, and I do clean up after myself. I work full time in South Brisbane. I don't drink, I don't smoke and I don't party or do drugs of any kind. I am fairly fit because I do a lot of walking and skating (roller & skateboard). I try and get to the skating rink at least twice a week.......more if I am able :) BTW I am gay if that matters at all. I am looking for a studio, granny flat or one bedroom flat preferably within 10kms of the city with easy access to public transport (train & bus). I don't have any furniture so a furnished place would be nice. I would also need internet (preferably wifi) because I spend a lot of time online. Air-conditioning is nice as well. The last couple of places that I have rented have had everything (power, wifi etc.) included in the rent & even though it probably costs a little more I don't mind cause it's easier. If you have a place that you think would suit me then please don't hesitate to contact me.
Perfectly located with only a 5 minute walk to Toowong Village and public transport, this apartment is extremely convenient. I've been living here for three years and see no reason to move, so I'm looking for a new roomie to move in with me. The vacant room will be unfurnished, has a shower ensuite, mirrored built-in cupboard and a personal balcony. I would prefer someone who is reliable, responsible and generally neat with a long-term interest. Someone who is relatively study or work-orientated but not against a drink on occasion would fit right in around here. I'm 20 and will be in my fourth year of studying Business at UQ next year. I also work part time in the area. If this sounds like it would work for you, please feel free to drop me a message and I would love to get to know you! I am also happy to share some more photos. Gerhard

Apartment is my preferred choice. especially the new and furnitured apartment. and the bedroom's window should not be too small. Hope have my own bathroom. If I really really like the room, I don't mind move in immediately or later some days.

I work as a tarot reader and will often chat about current astrological alignments when the time is right. Im also quiet and mindful of your personal space but am always there to chat if you need/want too :) Im moving to Brisbane to complete my postgrad in counselling so im quiet alot of the time or not around :P I am here now and happy to move in when needed. Im tidy and respectful and am always smiling! Did i mention I bake on the weekends??? I live a healthy lifestyle (despite the baking!) and enjoy social shinanigans with the odd glass of champagne. And I am also a member of the LGBTI rainbow ... so you will need to be respectful and open to that. Cant wait to chat! Hey guys my name is Simon Im 34 and i am looking for a place preferably with a yard to share for me and my 7yr old rescue greyhound Enzo. I am a full time shift worker in the railway and I'm easy going and friendly, Enzo is an outdoor dog he's very laid back, likes to lounge around all day and is well behaved he very rarely barks at anything and is great with other people and other dogs (not a fan of cats though). looking to share with fun, social, easy going people who like animals. Best locations is anything really just reasonably close to a train station and not too far from the city is preferred. I have to move out by the 15th of Jan next year so looking at anything from about the 8th of Jan as a move date. Thanks for reading ☺. Look forward to hearing from you
There is heaps of space in this apartment, Air-con to the lounge, and amazing views. We have a BBQ upstairs, but there's also one down in the pool area. There's a fantastic huge pool area that none of the other residents ever use. I've put one of the photos from the apartment opposite where it's empty, and the floorplan from the apartment downstairs on the listing. They're exactly the same size, it's just I couldn't find photos of our place empty online. The rooms available are room 2 & 3 as shown on the floor plan. Both are easily big enough for a queen bed and decent size desk. One has a built in cupboard the other can be supplied with a standalone if required.
I've just recently finished a Law & Arts double degree and am working full-time on George street in the city! I'm a fun social person, but like to have my alone time too. I love dogs, good music and good food. Ideally looking to be close to public transport to get to work. I'm not in a huge hurry to move out but ideally would like to move out around Jan/Feb - but if the perfect roommate/place pops up I'd be happy to move earlier!
I am a 22 yr old female currently working full time and studying law/business at UQ. I love dogs. In any spare time I have, I enjoy watching Netflix, cooking/baking and catching up with friends. I like having a clean kitchen, and I tidy up after myself in common areas. I am a somewhat quiet roommate but I enjoy having a chat or dinner with others in the house. I would be comfortable living with anyone. My current lease ends 12 January, and I am looking to secure a new place before then for at least 6 months. Would prefer an unfurnished room in a furnished house, as I have my own bed and desk, but I am flexible. Built in wardrobe is a must.

I'm 47 & keep myself reasonably fit & healthy, I like the quiet life these days, so not looking for a party house, but I am sociable & also enjoy my own company at times. I enjoy a good laugh & once I get to know people you won't stop me talking about any rubbish that I can think of, so I like a good conversation, sometimes light-hearted & silly, other times in-depth! I am a tidy person & won't leave a mess & I respect other people's property & treat it like I would my own. I'm not interested in drugs, or sharing with anyone who uses them. I don't mind a few beers, or a glass of wine or two, nothing mad though. I enjoy the outdoor lifestyle, walking, running, kayaking, mountain biking, photography and also a bit of an artist and I like a bbq every now & then. I think I'm a reasonably intelligent person and am educated to advanced diploma level. I'm looking to move into a shared house/flat/unit in Brisbane, having owned my own place in Murwillumbah, NSW, after a relationship split over 8 months ago. I'm also looking for somewhere that has space to keep my kayak & mountain bike, they weren't cheap, so I'd be looking to store in a garage or maybe secure under house storage, shed etc. I'd prrfer a long term stay, but a short term stay could work too. Wifi is a must!
Hi, I am originally from Canada. I have lived here for three years now and definitely call Brisbane my home. I am looking for something close to the Wesley Hospital as that is where I work. I am a nurse who works Monday to Friday 9-5. I am quiet but do like to socialise.
Hello! My name is Alex. I am a young professional from Edinburgh, Scotland. I am an outgoing person who enjoys sport, travelling and cooking. I am looking for a long-term flatshare or houseshare arrangement within travelling distance of the CBD and my office in Milton.
Hey, I'm looking for a queer-friendly house. I'll be studying at QUT Kelvin Grove next year, so I need somewhere with easy access to public transport. I'm clean, respectful and down to earth. I like hanging out with housemates but also like having personal space and time to myself. I'm an Irish transguy who has been in Australia for 6 years and currently work as a disability support worker. In my downtime I like to draw, play music, cook, go to markets, do yoga and go to the beach. I would love to live somewhere with a veggie patch (although I haven't had much luck with not killing anything I've tried to grow in the past). I want somewhere long term that can be a home, instead of just renting a room. If I sound like I would be a good fit for your home, please get in touch :) Thanks, Cian
Hi everyone! I will be starting full time work at Brisbane from the February and I'm looking to find a place close to the CBD (not apartments due to my vehicle) and preferably with my own bathroom/ensuite. I am a super laidback person, I enjoy my own private times but also love to work out, cook myself a balanced meal, super keen on being clean and some level of tidiness, love to listen to music and just having a good time in general.
Situated in the quiet suburbs of Auchenflower, the flat is a short 5 minute walk to trains, Coronation Drive busses and Toowong Village. The flat would be great for a student or a young professional and the room comes furnished with a bed, nightstand and bookcase with a built in wardrobe.
Hi, I’m Martin or Marty as most people call me. A quick snap shot of me: I am professionally employed in medical travel assistance and recently moved back to Brisbane after living in Sydney for 20 years. I am a quite an active person who is getting back into competitive cycling again with the aim to start club racing again in the New Year. I love the outdoors and keeping fit and healthy – hiking, camping, sand, surf and adrenaline sports..anything outdoors basically. I like to cook and entertain and enjoy the company of my friends and meeting new people. As my friends are spread out down the east coast of Australia, I regularly visit Sydney and Tasmania, plus the yearly overseas trips to explore off the beaten track places. I do have a substantial amount of furniture (2 bedroom house) and this can be put into storage if needed or can be added if required. There is so much more I can write here, but would rather it come out during a conversation when we meet.
Master ensuite room with double vanity and a walk in wardrobe available in a spacious 4 bedroom share house! Perfect option for couples or singles wanting that extra bit of privacy. Open plan living area and HUGE kitchen, with ample pantry space. There is also a big back deck with both undercover and open air areas. Living with 3 others, who are all in the other end of the house, so the room available is super private. The house is at the end of a quiet dead end street and also has a big two car garage. Lots of in-garage storage for extra stuff. It is located at the end of Duke street in Toowong and is super convenient to much of the area with the added bonus of quiet street living. Any questions feel free to ask! Renting for $200 including bills until the end of January.
Hey :) I'm a 25 year old girl, originally from Melbourne and have recently moved to Brisbane. I love to travel, live a healthy lifestyle and am also pretty clean and easy to get along with. My friend Sam is a 23 year old who is currently studying and working. He is super funny, really easy going and also likes to keep things clean. We are looking for a place with 2 spare rooms, potentially with a garden that is close enough to the city. We look forward to meeting you! xx
I'm a physiotherapy student at UQ, looking to find a place to rent for 12 months while I'm on placement. I love cooking, wine/cocktails, going to the markets and keeping active outdoors.
Hello! My name is Maurice. I am a 42 year old professional (software engineer and business owner), looking for share accommodation either close to the city, or on the southside (near Sunnybank/Eight Mile Plains). I am quiet, tidy, and very respectful of other people's ways. I do like to socialise, and I'm always up for a meal and a chat if you want. At times, though, I can be quite busy (with work and family). If you're looking for someone to party with every night, I am not the person for you. I am a light social drinker, have never done drugs, and I am looking for a house that is completely smoke free. I try to live a healthy lifestyle (I do ashtanga yoga twice a week), and I'm a bit of a foodie (I'll be bring a sous vide machine with me). Having said that, I currently live near Sunnybank and there's a lot of great restaurants around here!
We are a young professional couple who have been living with eachother for 2 years. I work or study every day and my partner spends his day off which he usually spends playing golf/ fishing/ surfing. In our down time we get to the gym and wind down with tv and casual drink.
The apartment is super close to Toowong Shopping Village (2 blocks), trains, buses, etc. It is fully furnished (not your room, that is yours to furnish as you like. Can discuss getting basic furniture for you if you need). Your room would fit a double bed, possibly queen, and has built-in wardrobe and a nice bay window. You'd have full use of the main bathroom for yourself (except for visitors who would use it), and as long as you are clean and respectful of my possessions I am happy for you to use items such as kitchen appliances, couch, tv, cooking utensils, etc. Electricity and internet are connected (not included in the rent - approx $150/quarter for electricity and $36/month for internet). Main areas fully furnished with couches, dining table, appliances, balcony furniture, washing machine, etc. (will be buying more items for lounge area). Added some new photos, as you can see the bathroom is relatively new and the bedroom has a bay window. More than happy to negotiate length of stay, furnishings, and rent amount of you're really keen on the place.
