Hey guys, i am a student looking for a room in Brisbane. I tend to keep to myself but am up for drinks and a chat on the weekends. i am clean, tidy and easy going. love to cook and garden and gym time haha. i love adventures to the beach and into the mountains. am planning on moving to Brisbane in January 2017. thanks.
Hi there! I'm Korii and I'm a 26 year old female currently living in Perth. However I will be moving to Brisbane at the end of November for a new job, which I am super excited about! However this means I am now on the hunt for a place to live. :) I am very friendly, laid back and pretty respectful of people's need for space/privacy. I love good banter and bad jokes. :P As I work full time, I like to keep busy in the weekends - heading outside, keeping active, visiting and exploring new places and trying new things. I'm a huge sports fanatic - love my rugby union in particular. I'm also hoping to check out the Muay Thai/Kickboxing scene when I get to Brizzy. Would love to live with others who are like-minded, somewhat mature (but still likes to have a good time every now and then!), respectful and friendly. Definitely don't mind sharing a meal or two every now and then either - I find cooking a great way to relax over the weekends. Because I am moving from the other side of the country I would prefer a fully furnished bedroom, just to make it a little easier. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
Because I am going to finish my study and leave Australia, my room is available now. This fantastic furnished house locates at the border of Toowong and St.Lucia, which is very good for UQ students. The house is very close to the Perrin Park, you are able to wander there at anytime you want. There is a very big yard with a BBQ machine. It is closed to anywhere: 30 minutes walk to UQ, or you can choose to take the 6 minutes bus while it is raining. Only 8 minutes walk to the shopping center. The room is fully furnished, but you are able to furnish it if necessary. Everyone is welcomed. If you have any question or would like to arrange an inspection please do not hesitate to contact me.
Brisbane born, gentle giant, introvert but with a good sense of humour. Med-High level of cleanliness/tidiness, dependent on who i'm living with, I tend to match my fellow roommate's standards. Dishwasher is a necessity though! Super honest and tolerant. Currently living with some people in Kenmore, and the couple just got married, so are moving out. Moved in with them 4yrs ago, and we are now great friends :) I work part time from home, with a small Mobile Phone repair business. I refurbish phones for sale, and repair customers devices. This means I will have customers visiting the place to drop off, but only once or twice a day on average. I have my own doorbell, and I work in my bedroom. My current housemates have not had any problems with this, and I try to minimise the imposition as much as possible. Near cost price phone repair for fellow housemates is offered in return. :) I play tennis regularly, and volunteer at the tennis club too. Also play volleyball & golf occasionally and like trivia nights. I like playing my PlayStation too when I've got a good game, but I've got my own screen for my room. I like board games, movies, having a beer and chatting occasionally. I love animals, especially dogs (I don't have a pet though).

Hello everyone, I'm a 23 Brazilian guy living a new life and studying in Brisbane. I'm looking a nice and open to chat person to share a place with. I'm a easy going person, social and clean looking for a job and a nice place to stay. I'm looking a place to live at least 3 months.
We are both friendly and bubbly, easy to get a long with, very sociable, will like to have friends over. Taylor works full time as a medical receptionist and owns a labrador, so it is a MUST that you adore dogs. Shauna works as a nanny and is home during school hours.
I'm clean, can cook - love to bake! Pretty quiet but keen to meet great new people. Reliable source of income - paying rent/bills will be no issue. Lead a fairly busy lifestyle but am always keen to watch a movie and chat over wine/cheese.
Hey guys. My room I had lined up failed on me and so now I'm staying with my friends for a few weeks until I can line something up again. So move in dates are very flexiable. I am a full time worker in brisbane CBD taking care of all Account finances for an industry super fund. I am fun loving, very sociable, lover of great wine, beer, books, hiking and more wine. I love to be social on weekends so a house hold that is like minded would be great. But In saying that I'm not a party animal ahah I do like my own time and space. I would prefer to live in a household of boys as I've done so for the past two years and it was a great time :) Hit me up if you think you have something for me. Also open to locations just still want to be close to the city due to work. Thanks :)
Hi there! I'm super keen to make a new start, moving to Brisbane to study! I come from Toowoomba, I am an outgoing and honest person. I like things super tidy and am a very clean person. I'm willing to take a share in all household jobs. I am seeking my own room, preferably not furnished, and fairly roomy, as i will need to set up a work desk for study. I would love a built-in robe, but if not, its completely fine. Possibly modern. I am willing to pay up to $190 a week for rent, that including bills. Thankyou, just contact me if you have any questions.
I'm a 26yo software engineer working full time in east brisbane. I'm a sport and outdoor activities enthusiast. I do rock climbing with UQ sometimes in kangaroo point and sometimes indoor. I also started doing Muy Thai recently. So during the week i'm usually out till 7 or 8pm. I'm reasonably social and house trained, and i'm mainly looking for a place to call home where people are willing to communicate and maybe share a meal or drink whilst respecting each others privacy at the same time when it's needed. I'm into music and play guitar sometimes (I got my awesome headphone that i use when i wanna play, so you don't need to worry about the noise if it bothers you). Preferably looking or a place in West End with an undercover garage, but that's not a must.
22 year old single male, just recently moving to Brisbane from the sunshine coast. Looking for a room/place in the southern suburbs. I work full-time, I also have a weekend job back on the coast so I wont be home most weekends. I'm a student. I don't smoke, I barely drink, I'm exceptionally clean, and really easy going. I have a perfect rental history. I don't have pets or children but I do love both. Preferrably looking for a place by the 30/10 but can work around an earlier or later date
I've learnt to cook and clean for myself and to be of help around the house when asked. I'm in my final year of Uni (Bachelor of IT) so I'm close to having my part-time job turning full-time for me. I don't drink or smoke. My hobbies include video games, dungeons and dragons, and PC building.
Hi everyone, I'm a young professional looking for a room to rent (preferably with ensuite) and a place to park my motorcycle. Ideally, I'd like to start/join 2-3 other people in a share house or large apartment. I work full time at an engineering firm 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Outside that I enjoy hanging out with friends, hiking, playing touch footy and going to the gym. I like to stay quiet during the week but am always keen for a drink and meeting new people on Friday and over the weekend. I am orderly and clean after myself, and am looking for likeminded people in that regard.
I'm a 30yo single bloke working in sales that is looking for accommodation. I like cars, motorbikes, F1, football and footy. I am a smoker, looking for accomodation with off street parking (ideally garage space) for my car, fast internet and shared kitchen/laundry facilities. Looking to move before 1st December.
I'm a 21 year old Finnish-Australian starting my BA at UQ in Term 1, 2017. I'm very social and laidback, and hence expect to get along with pretty much everybody. I'm usually more than likely to be happy to go out and have a fun time, but also respect others' boundaries and privacy. I believe in fairness and sharedness when it comes to common chores, but I'm not too uptight and hate arguing. I've lived in shared accommodation before, and have always had a good time. You can contact me for either a room, or to teamup. Hope to hear from you, and have a good day!
I am an Italian-American student coming on exchange to UQ for Semester 1 of 2017 from McGill University in Canada. I am studying Geography, with minors in French and Economics, and I enjoy traveling, videography, music, and trying new foods. I am looking to share a house with some flatmates near campus! :) Hoping to find a great group of 3-4 other students to live with - either returning students or other exchange students - just looking for a fun group of people!
Hi, I will be graduating from UQ in December with a Bachelor of Engineering. So we, as a family are travelling to Brisbane to attend my graduation ceremony. Since I don't live in Brisbane anymore, just need a place for my family to stay for a week. We'll be out most of the day, so just need a decent place where my family can sleep in peace. Thanks
Hi!I am a 28 years old laid back girl from Reunion Island. I just moved 3days ago to Brisbane,im currently looking for a Job in Hospitality. I dont smoke and i love to cook ,i really enjoy to spend some time with my flatmates.
27 year-old journalism student at UQ searching for housemates around my age to live with who are fun, independent and socially like-minded. Despite also working, I'm always up for being social on weekends. I like to run, head on toadtrips out bush, great at cooking, currently do surf lifesaving on the Gold Coast, takes dance classes and despite being well-travelled to places like the US - have amazing stories to tell. Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm early 30's with wide ranging interests in world affairs, sport, food, cars, travel, ++.
3d year full-time UQ student doing Education, night owl, not a party person, but board games and beer any day. No bad habits apart from sarcasm and sleeping till noon. Ok with pets and smokers, not ok with kids and people who don't know headphones exist. I have been living in share houses for the past three or so years so I know how to manage a bathroom cleaning roster and how to not accidentally eat housemates' food :)
Hi everyone, I'm a soon to be 21 year old student about to enter my final year. I'm seeking a new share house with a group of relaxed people around my age. I'm quiet and relatively keep to myself but don't mind a chat and a few cheeky beverages if that's your thing. Most of all I know how to operate cleaning materials which means I clean up after myself and the best part is I always pay rent on time. What's not to love? Feel free to contact me!!! Travelling to NZ 19th Nov to 5th December and can move anytime after this! Not before due to uni exams etc
Resort style living, will go quickly. Excellent location close to all transport and shops. Secure building with pool and gym. Even small view of river 🙂 Unit is fully furnished except your room. You have your own bathroom and a walk in robe so there's lots of room. This is inner city living at a budget price Secure parking available at extra cost
PICTURESQUE RIVER SETTING, ALL COSTS INCLUDED King bedroom becoming available in a very roomy, clean and comfortable unit on the river at Toowong. The unit is very much a home and has become a haven, with mixed ages and a mix of great people having lived here and who on occasions return to join us for dinners etc. One of the queen rooms may also be becoming vacant and the third room is rented by a 31yo professional who is doing his PhD at UQ and who I couldn't recommend more highly as a housemate. I normally occupy one of the rooms but am renting it out for the moment as I am away a lot. We have all been friends here however also very respecting of each persons privacy and not living in each other's pockets - when we decide to share a meal it's been great but overall we do our own thing. It's a positive, friendly and very relaxed atmosphere and honesty hasn't rated a second thought - the only reason we close our doors is for privacy and would expect the same from anyone renting a room here. Feedback is that people have loved living here and visitors are most welcome. The unit is secure, has quality furnishings and especially nice beds. There is only one bathroom however with individual storage for each person in it and a separate toilet with second hand basin, it's never been a problem. The stated rent includes all costs and is the total amount you'll pay. This includes internet, all cleaning, all utilities, basic kitchen needs and general shared linen. We have our own personal linen and I keep quality linen for tenants to purchase at a reduced price should they wish to buy it. There is no bond but equivalent to 2 weeks basic rent is paid as a deposit, returnable on vacating the room. Transport: Approx 5 mins from the unit to waiting on the train platform, City Cat is approx a 10 min walk and UQ is walking distance away but with buses going past all the time. It's at a lovely spot on the river and handy to everything. I also have a beautiful Beale piano here that providing it is looked after is available for your use. If you're very honest, clean, tidy and good-natured you're very welcome here! All ages are welcome as we've found the mix to be really good. I hope this is of help to you, Helen. Ps. The main photo is a side view from the main balcony.
QUT Student, looking to move into a house with cool flatmates just after Christmas. Friendly, outgoing , fairly tidy and terrible at cooking. Look for long term accommodation
Hey guys, we're a couple from germany on a working holiday. We want to stay in Brisbane until christmas. We are both working at a car wash in Toowong and would like to find a room as close as possible. We like to socialise with others, but also respect and like to have some alone time. We're friendly, keep our place tidy and clean and are fun to live with for sure!
I'm on exchange from the US studying at UQ for a year, but my lease runs out this summer so I need a new place to stay for another 6 months! Things I enjoy include: swimming, bikes, wine, cooking, doing my dishes, paying rent on time, and also chocolate. Would love to meet some new flatmates as my current one is moving away :( I can move at any time but would prefer early Jan as I will be traveling and won't return until then. Please don't hesitate to contact me! :)
Hey, My name is Anh, I'm an international student looking to move out of my current place at the end of this year. I have been in Australia for 7 years (5 in Brisbane). I finished my science degree with an Honours last year and I am completing my diploma in teaching at the end of this year. I will start to look for jobs/ do some travelling next year but still want a nice place to stay. I'm an introvert, tidy and quiet but I do enjoy cooking and baking for friends and people around. Food adventures and dining out are absolutely welcome. I am a foodie at heart, considering the fact that I chose Food Technology as a career path. Besides, I like to have things in order and clean my house frequently. I enjoy having a drink and chill out watching TV. I read and play terrible piano too. If you are looking for good Vietnamese food, look no further and contact me :)
