I am a Spanish guy who is looking for a job in the engineering field in Australia. Working and studying at the same time as well as training as much as I can. I am a very active and friendly person who likes to have the place for resting and socialising, as every Spanish hehe. I am clean and very tidy with my own and share spaces at home.
I am a super easy going guy, who is very considerate of others I live with. I do not leave mess around in shared areas and am hygienic. I enjoy music and gaming and can sometimes be a hermet, but also do like to socialize and am friendly :-). I also currently work at a restaurant in chapel hill up to 5 nights a week.
Hey Flatmates. I'm a very laid back, warm and friendly person; quite easily get along with people from all walks. Hoping to move in with 1, maybe 2 like-minded people. I work full-time at Colliers International, study part-time at QUT and exercise more than most, can safely say I'm rarely home. Keep mi casa neat and tidy, and of course mindful of those I live with! My current lease ends mid-July but I could move out beforehand if necessary. Looking to have a quiet second half of 2018 so I can save for my first home, but I rarely say no to a beer :) Feel free to drop me a line!
Hi! I am Harry, I am 23, a student in my fifth year and currently working casually 4-5 days a week in a hospital. I am good humored and very reliable. I love traveling and I have lived in Mexico for study and the UK for work. I can speak Spanish pretty well! I enjoy hanging out with my friends as well as trying to keep myself somewhat fit and healthy!
I work in retail part-time. I'm 27 and an introvert that generally kept to myself, however, I do enjoy going out every now and then. People tell me I'm nice but need to improve being an adult, not saying I'm messy, I just don't have a license.
I’m really easy going and neat. Does a fair share of housework at home so I’ll definitely contribute to the chores when sharing an apartment. Always up for a chat over a drink or 2 and it’s totally fine with me if you’re going to have friends over occassionally:)
Hi, I'm Kirsty. I'm 23 years old and currently working full time. I'm a quite person and I can be a little shy when first meeting but eventually I do come out of my shell. I like to get out and about to beaches, movies, gigs or just simply going to cafes for coffee. I'm currently renting in an apartment but I am looking to break my lease (flexible with dates). I am a clean freak so I want to live with someone who is tidy!! Being friendly and sociable is something I also enjoy in a housemate however I'm also looking for someone who enjoys relaxing on the couch sometimes and just chilling out. I'm hoping to find someone to move in with around either the Woolloongabba area or Paddington area. I haven't started looking yet but I will be looking for unfurnished places as I already own a couch, tv unit, washing machine and other household appliances. I'm happy to meet up with anyone to see if we gel well before going through with apartment looking!
PICTURESQUE RIVER SETTING, ALL COSTS INCLUDED Two queen bedrooms available in a very roomy, clean and comfortable unit on the river at Toowong. The unit is very much a home where personal space and privacy is very respected and honesty is never an issue. Our bedroom doors only ever need to be closed for privacy, not to keep someone out so although it's a personal choice, they're typically left open and it’s a great way to live knowing no one will ever go into our rooms unless asked to. We share a meal when we feel like it but otherwise do our own thing and there's always a friendly word or chat as we come and go. People of all ages and nationalities have lived here and are always welcome as we've found the mix to be great and feedback is that people have loved living here. Visitors are most welcome and also to stay if it suits all housemates. The walls are of concrete construction so there is no noise disturbance between rooms and the building is also particularly well insulated so is a very comfortable temperature. The unit is secure, has quality furnishings and especially nice beds. The rooms have plentiful storage cupboards and each contains a good desk with drawers and a quality desk chair. There is only one bathroom however with individual storage space for each person in it and a separate toilet with second hand basin, as they're kept very clean this has never been a problem. This will alter shortly though with the addition of one, if not two, more bathrooms. The stated rent includes all costs and is the total amount you'll pay. This includes fast speed internet, all cleaning, all utilities, basic kitchen needs and general shared linen. We have our own personal linen and I keep quality linen that I've bought on special should someone prefer to buy it rather than have to go and buy their own. For short term, linen can be supplied for a small cost. There is no bond but equivalent to 2 weeks basic rent is paid as a deposit and returned when vacating the room. For couples the rent is $385/wk. Transport: Approx 5 mins from the unit to waiting on the train platform, City Cat is approx a 10 min walk and UQ is walking distance away but with buses going past all the time. It's at a lovely spot on the river and handy to everything. I also have a beautiful Beale piano here that, providing it is looked after, is also available for your use. If you're very honest, clean and good-natured you're very welcome here! I hope this is of help to you, Helen.
Hi my name is Sarah. I'm a 30 year old female who has just moved from Melbourne to Brisbane for work. I work at University of Queensland full time at St Lucia and am looking to live with other full time professionals around my age who live close to this area (preferably close to the river-not outer suburbs) . I'm looking for fun, happy housemates who like to have a laugh and have a wine. Not looking to live with a hermit as I like to feel at home and don't want to feel like I have to tip toe around others. Being new to Brisbane I am really looking for new friends and people who like to be social, active and enjoy beach getaways. I would prefer not to live with couples as in the past I have found this quite Isolating and I'm really hoping to expand my friendship group here (but saying that I won't judge a book by its cover!). I'm not looking for a party house but do enjoy a few drinks on the weekend and the occasional dance and Sunday sesh and the occasional friend over. I work hard during the week and want to live with others who are clean and respectful but like to have dinner and a laugh together. Im easy to get along with but appreciate the need for personal space. I don't take myself too seriously and looking for others with the same mindset. I'm looking for a new house from end of June onward but have the capacity to move in later if need be.
On a nice quiet street in Toowong, across the road from a lovely cafe. Only a short walk from public transport and shops. High speed Internet and friendly neighbors. This room is available for 4 months while our friend is away for work starting 31st of May. Would be ideal for anyone looking for cheap short term housing.
Hey, Brad here - I'm on the hunt to join a one or two-person sharehouse here in Brisbane! I'm 26 years old, currently working in the media (some interesting stories over dinner can be guaranteed!), and I've been renting alone for the past few years, but I'm ready to get back to meeting new people and creating a warm home with some friendly faces! Some of my personal interests include the round-ball style of football (I've done a few European football trips now), using my two feet to explore new areas of town (Personal record was 40,000 steps in a day in Paris!), and reading books in my spare time (My collection topped out at 150+ for a while there). And while I love interacting with new people and bonding over a good meal or a quiet drink, I'm also big on personal space. Having lived alone for a while, I've enjoyed a very quiet lifestyle for the past few years, and you can guarantee I'm not the kind of loud, obnoxious person who makes sharehousing the opposite of what it should be. Alas, I'd also be looking for housemates who share similar values - people who can easily interact with others, who value coming home to a friendly, relaxed vibe at the end of the day, and enjoy making each other's company. I'm only looking to share with professionals around the ages of 22-30 at this stage, and would like to stay around the inner-city areas of Brisbane, as I enjoy and value walking to work each day (I'd love to find a place no more than an hour's walking distance from the city centre, preferably). This also means I'd be looking for a place to store my car - off-street parking would be the preferred choice, but I'd be open to other options aswell. My moving date is flexible as I'm currently under a rental lease, but I'm looking to break it to return to sharehousing soon. It would be an advantage if there were a 2-4 week lead-in date to moving in, as I can then buy the real estate agents some extra time to find a new tenant for my existing property. Would love to hear from you if you have anything suitable - Unfortunately, I respond to messages on Flatmates only, so this is my best form of communication as opposed to text messaging or calling. I look forward to hearing from you really soon, and hopefully enjoying your company as a brand new flattie! Cheers!
I am friendly and not much of a talker however I do not mind socialising with my housemates. I prioritize cleanliness in the area that I live in and able to cook meals at times. I am looking for a house near UQ where my school term will start during July.
Hey there, my name is Aayush and I am from India. Pursuing my Master's degree from the University of Queensland. I am a fun and friendly person who loves to meet new people and develop great connects. I am looking for an accommodation anytime from 20th June 2018 onwards, so hit me up if you're interested in sharing an apartment. Cheers!!
Small unfurnished room available. It fits a queen size bed plus a small wardrobe and shelves, maybe a desk depending on the size. You'll be sharing a bathroom with the 2 boys, but it is kept clean and tidy. Beautiful, 4 bedroom, open plan house. Big kitchen, lots of storage. Plenty of parking. Everyone is neat and considerate. A short walk away from Mt Coot-tha botanic gardens. There's a bus station not far away with buses going into the city and to Toowong. Rent is paid fortnightly, additional $10 a week goes into a house account to cover internet and electricity plus anything else we need. I'm only leaving this house because I'm moving interstate, but I'm sad to say goodbye, this is a lovely place to live.
I'm a full-time Naturopathy student, I have a small dog and two cats. Looking to move closer to uni (either Gold Coast or Brisbane campus). I'm a very warm, friendly, and easy-going person. I spend most of my time studying, but when I have free time I love to spend time with friends, do yoga, read books, garden, have a nice bath, cook lovely meals, all that sort of stuff. I'm vegan, LGBTQIA+ friendly, a very open-minded person. Don't enjoy conflict, very easy to get along with. Hoping to find some people to live with who just want a nice homely place to live in peace together with.
Hi, I'm Sam. I'm a clean and sociable guy from Tasmania. I like basketball, gaming, watching shows, going to the gym, listening to music and hanging out with friends. I'm looking for an affordable share house with high speed internet and clean housemates to become friends with. Happy to team up with like-minded people, or join an existing share house. I have minimal belongings; car, bed, desk & pc. My ideal place would be walking distance to the supermarket and train station. I can move anytime before July 12th. I plan to do volunteer work while transitioning into either employment or study, depending on what my options are once I find a home.
