My name is Shiron, a 31-year-old single male. I am seeking a room for rent as I will be relocating from the USA to Townsville to pursue my PhD at James Cook University. My intended move-in date is July 24, 2025.
Initially, I am looking for a 6-month lease, with the possibility of extending depending on circumstances, as my PhD program is for 4 years.
Professionally, I am an engineer focused on engineering research, which has led me to live and work internationally. I am originally from Sri Lanka. I worked in Sydney, Australia for 1.5 years. Also, I lived in Macau SAR, China for nearly a year. Recently, I stayed in the USA for a year working as a researcher.
I describe myself as easygoing, friendly, and quiet. I do not smoke or drink, prefer calm surroundings, and I am not inclined toward parties. In my free time, I enjoy writing, practicing yoga, and meditation.
