Hi there, I am a healthcare professional and an aspiring physician from Melbourne, moving to Hobart in July to study medicine at UTas. I am extremely clean and tidy, love to explore nature, try out new restaurants and wineries, play some golf or just go for a nice drive (if and whenever I do get the time) and generally try to be as polite and helpful as I can be. I am always up for a meal together but am also very respectful of other people's space. I am definitely not looking for a party house or a place that is loud on the weekend, but a place where we can share a meal, have a glass of wine occasionally and share an intelligent conversation. I am looking to move into a shared house or team up ASAP as my uni starts in the second week of July. Regards, Dhruv
I have recently moved to Hobart, Tasmania and I am looking for a room in a sharehouse. I used to run a transport business for 4 years in Singapore and I have acted as a landlord for 10 years back home. Avid Chinese Tea, photography and aviation enthusiast. Loves cooking up a good meal and well equipped kitchens are always welcome. I am a very easygoing person and love sitting down for a cup of tea when I am free. Flexible with locations and they do not need to be any of those listed, but I do have in mind places to avoid.
Easy going.Like my space and also socialize with other flatmates when I am with them. Easy to get along with. Working casually. A clean and tidy person. Enjoy Gardening and house chores. I am in my late 50's and Single.
I am a student at UTAS. I am tidy, clean and always try hard to look after the place. I have experience with house sharing before having house shared for over 1 yr and understand the boundaries set with other people. I am a full time study student so will not be home for a lot of the time. I am easy going and friendly to others. I have lived in Australia for 10+ years.
Friendly, great conversationalist. I can pretty much get on with anyone and respect people's property and space. Very clean, I will feel uncomfortable in a messy environment. I am very okay with pets, especially cats. I am a PhD student working at UTAS. I enjoy a beverage and a relax after a long day as we all do. Will sometimes work very long days and sometimes weekends too, but otherwise look forward to a place to unwind and talk with people about anything. Can move out ASAP, very keen for a sea-change.

The Clarence Pool is a 30 minute walk from the house. There's a BBQ and bikes -with the Bellerive bike track following the beach line.
Hi my name is Millicent and I'm a 23yo female from Hobart who works full time as a school receptionist. I would be great to live with because I am clean, tidy and a nice person to everyone I meet. I love living in Hobart because of its beautiful nature, friendly people and delicious food. I'm an easy going, cheerful person to have as company, and in my spare time I like hanging out with friends, cooking and going on hikes :)
Hey, My name is Stephen a 26 year old full time employed marine biologist. I'm originally from Melbourne, but moved to Hobart in August of last year. With the recent storm event, my room in a share house in Taroona was flooded, and requires too much repair for me to stay. I've lived in share houses in Melbourne, Hobart and overseas. I am clean, respectful, easy going and have made many good friends from my previous share houses. I enjoy anything involving the water, getting outside, music and relaxing with a movie. Also, I wasn't really sure how long to list the stay so just did 9 months. I hope to hear from you, Stephen
I'm moving to Hobart from Melbourne to start my masters at Utas in the beginning of July. Lived in the shared house for the last five years, so know the drill. Neat, respectful and a Banter. Into cooking whenever I'm free and more than happy to share a meal or two. Love to socialize and respect personal space. Looking for a flatmate who's easy going, friendly and always up for a laugh.
Hi! My name is Megan and I'm looking for a place to stay from August in 2018. I'm looking for a place that will be able to accommodate both me and my sister, Erin, so hopefully you have either a couple of rooms or one large room available. We'd love to be in a 'family' style share house with friendly flatmates who we can have fun with but who also respect each other's need for quiet at times :) Ideally, we'd like to live close to the city, but are willing to move further out if you are on a bus route that has regular services throughout the week. Erin also has a car, so it would be great if your place has parking available as well. A bit about us: we're both currently studying at UTAS, and working. I'm a bit of a grandma on the inside, I love arts and crafts, a good cup of tea and baking (and of course sharing my creations :) ), and I'm also really interested in ecology and nature. Erin's definitely an art-y type, and she loves creating beautiful things in her spare time. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
I am an Orthoptist who just finished uni, planning to move to Hobart from Sydney for full time work. I'm an easy-going guy, who can cook and clean. I'm adventurous guy who enjoys the outdoors, seeing new places and 4WD/camping. I also love basketball and hiking I respect privacy but also enjoy company and down for a chat Happy to live 15min drive from the city as I would have a car and be required to drive to work
We are two friends looking to join an existing share house or team up to find a bigger house. Both of us are pretty busy, both do a decent amount of cooking so like housemates who clean up after themselves and are respectful. Powerlifting / weights training is a big part of our lives. We are social but also value our time alone to get stuff done! (our max budget 400/week is for both combined, rent only)
I'm a late 30s professional, keen lover of the great outdoors: On the weekends, you'll find me in nature, hiking, twitching and exploring beautiful Tasmania. During the week, I work an office job in Hobart, doing advisory and consulting, helping out at the Botanical Gardens occasionally. Pretty easy to get along with, more on the quiet side, non-smoker, no pets, I enjoy the occasional beer or wine, not scared of cooking up and baking almost anything. I clean up after myself, lots of experience with share houses, always pay my rent in advance, no strange habits I'd be aware of. Looking to move in early July since my current house has become unavailable, landlord going to Asia. Full ID, Police Check, pay slips etc. available if needed. Happy to drop by anytime so we can meet and chat!!
Three bedroom unit/house in Bellerive, situated within a quiet unit complex. One bathroom with separate toilet. Private rental. Fully furnished (apart from available room) and ready to move in! Super quiet, located within walking distance of bus routes through to Hobart/University and five minutes walk to Eastlands shopping centre. The lease is for six months at a time. Rent is $140 each per week and we split all bills equally. The internet is unlimited and is $25 each per month. Available bedroom has a built in wardrobe and will be ready to move in end of July as long as we find a suitable housemate!
We have a free room for about month starting 25 June until the end of July The place is fully furnished including your room which has an in built cupboard and bookshelf. I also have spare linen if required for free. We are right next to the bus stop which goes direct to CBD and UTAS, and also walking distance to the signal station and Mt Nelson store. There is ample space for parking. The rent includes all bills - water, electricity, and unlimited high speed NBN as well as toiletries (handsoap, toilet paper, washing powder, fabric softener, spray cleaner, kitchen roll). It also includes firewood. The kitchen is also fully stocked with pots, pans, chopping boards etc. Just bring your clothes and electronics! We are a friendly set of housemates. We want someone who is responsible by paying their rent and bills on time, polite to the other housemates, cleans up after themselves, respects space. This place would probably suit someone who is travelling through Hobart, or who is currently stuck at a hostel and wants to get out but hasnt found more permanent residence - stay with us out of the hostel whilst you find longer-term accommodation. It would especially suit someone going to UTAS as the housemates also go there and we can carpool or walk together. At this point we CANNOT accommodate couples or pets (except for idk goldfish or hamsters)
We have a lovely large home in a beautiful street in Sandy Bay. We offer a generous sized room (rumpus room size) close to the University (10 min walk) and close to public transport – you would not require a car. The room has a flat screen TV, study desk, and double bed. The room is light, airy and provides you with your own private space. Windows are ceiling to floor and a sliding door opens up on to a small pebble area. Wifi and power is included. The room has a heater. The room is currently undergoing re-carepting and will be available approximately 23rd July, however we have a bedroom you can use if you require accommodation sooner (as University semester commences 16th July).
Semi furnished room available in a two-bedroom unit in Sandy Bay Convenient location near Wrest Point, 10min walk to the University and Sandy Bay shops Nice water views with plenty of sunshine from open plan living room. It has a shared bathroom and laundry. Covered parking available. Rent 210/wk plus bills Suitable for professionals and mature students
Laid back, easy going and tidy. Studying first year at UTAS, and also working casually, mostly on weekends. Pretty quiet and will respect your space, yet will always be up for a good chat. Looking for somewhere closer to town/uni, as I'm currently having to travel a lot.
