Hello!! We have just moved back to Australia from the UK and are so happy with our choice! We moved to the Gold Coast and were surprised by what a special place it is. We both work in the film industry but in opposite directions so are open to living anywhere on the coast or hinterland from Mermaid Beach down to Byron. We love being outdoors and active, surfing, hiking, chasing waterfalls and trying new coffee shops. We are not looking for a party house and require a non smoking house but we adore animals so a house pet would be a bonus!
I'm a Wookie-Hobbit hybrid with a Brazillian, and a writer. I have spinal damage but still mobile, and just want a place where I can write my books & screenplays, plus grow veggies. I'm 6'4" so I need a decent sized room, plus a study/office for my writing. I don't have any pets of my own but very happy to live with someone who does SO LONG AS they are well trained, cared for, and don't become a burden to me through lack of training and care by their human parents, I would also be particularly intolerant of witnessing any abuse of such pets.
Hi lovely people, I’m looking for a place to move to with my best mate (a golden Labrador, Lily) and I’m having a lot of trouble finding anywhere because nobody seems to want to accept my dog. She is an adorable sweetheart and very well behaved . Ideally I want to live in Mullumbimby, but will be happy to live anywhere in the surrounding area if I can find a happy place. I’m currently in Sydney and taking time out from my usual job to try out living up that way. I’m in my 50’s, very young spirit, strong social and environmental conscience, very considerate, reliable and responsible. I'm a great cook, will keep the house clean and tidy, love to both sing and listen to music, dance, ride my bicycle, gardening, movies, reading, markets, meditation and yoga. Looking to get involved in some new activities up there and to meet new people. Hoping to do some art and writing classes and join a meditation group. Hoping to find some like minded people to share with. I have heaps of beautiful friends in Sydney and Melbourne and hoping to make more up that way.
I have lived in the Byron Shire for the past 20 years while my daughter was growing up so now that my daughter has moved away for uni I am seeking to rent in the Byron/Tweed Shire. I am happy to pay up to $250 p/week however I am also willing to do gardening, child minding/caring, cooking and house keeping in addition or exchange for rent. Warm regards, Dawn

We are Robin and Elizabeth from London, England. We have spent the past six months traveling through Asia and Indonesia finally reaching Australia to make a new home! We live a healthy lifestyle, love being outdoors, vegetarian cooking and red wine! We are looking for a place with a double bedroom and ideally own bathroom and outdoor communal space! We love animals so are more than happy to share with anyone that has pets. Here's a little bit about both of us: Elizabeth I grew up on a farm in Sussex, the south of England surrounded by nature and wildlife. Since university I have been living in London working in the creative industries and am a qualified yoga teacher. After many years of city life I am excited to make a change in a different part of the world. I'm interested in alternative and natural ways of living I have a love for Yoga, meditation, the arts, photography, anything creative! Robin I was born in Yorkshire in the north of England before moving to London after university. I work as a Project Manager in building and development. I love to travel and meet new people. I love music and play the guitar.
Hey! I'm looking to join in on a share house. I have with me two medium-sized, inside, loving and awesome dogs. I work full time (remote access gov job) and am mature and responsible. I cook and clean up after myself. I have a fridge, washing machine and lawnmower! (but that's just my pitch, I can bring any or none, wait except the lawnmower, that's pretty good.) I like to garden, listen to music, drink coffee, keep fit & active, read and get to the beach. I'm a zoology graduate. I'm looking to move up North for a bit, minimum a year. I get that taking on two medium-sized dogs can be daunting, but they are 7 & 8 years old and are total pets. I care for them and would not expect anyone to clean up poop in the garden or walk them. They will love you intensely and bring you tennis balls. They do have long coats, and do of course leave dog hair - no more than I shed my hair in the shower and I clean up/hoover after all of us :). I also walk the dogs daily, hence they are well behaved pets. Dogs will get on fine with chickens, but sadly don't get on well with cats or other small furry animals. I get on fine with most people :) I like to chat and share meals occasionally and absolutely will share a red/white. I even crack out the old Mexican train dominoes from time to time. If I seem like a good fit, please contact me and we can talk more in detail, very happy to answer any questions you might have. Thinking of moving late 2017 or early 2018, just putting very early feelers out now.
Hello, my name is Andrew. I'm a 32 yr olf male currently residing in Sydney. I am looking to move into the Byron bay area on the 1st of June. I currently work part time as a lifeguard and will be working in the sales upon my arrival in Byron bay. I am a non-smoker, enjoy good food and good company. I also like to keep fit and live a healthy lifestyle. I am a neat and tidy person who is easy to get along with. I look forward to hearing from my potential new housemates!
interested in long or short term rental, from $100-$300 per week. i look and act younger than most 35 year olds. i'm not a party animal but love a chilled drink & a social chat. love music, the sun & the beach! have lived in many share houses, very clean. healthy lifestyle, vegetarian. have a gorgeous super friendly blue staffy who would love to meet you!
I'm hoping to find a long-term home for at least a year; or longer, if all works out well. I definitely like calm and quiet in my home environment, although I do enjoy relating with people when it happens, and having thoughtful and thought-provoking conversations. But basically I'm quite self-contained, independent and enjoy being quiet. Re shared areas; I believe I'm a very considerate, aware and respectful sharer of space. I leave the most minimal footprint possible and clean up as immediately as possible after creating food in the kitchen. As far as my life style/interests are concerned: I'm a teacher who recently retired from working with Indigenous adolescents in central Australia for several years, and before that in Wilcannia and northern NSW. I'm now studying a three year Dru Yoga Teacher Training course; I attend two Dru yoga classes a week, one a private class in Mullum, and one in Byron. I'm a regular volunteer at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina (one or two shifts a week) I have my own income. I'm a creative who delights in the aesthetic in all aspects of living. I'm a keen gardener and enjoy planting food, herbs and flowers. I love eating good food and cooking, particularly different ethnic foods. I eat a vegetarian diet, but I'm not rigid about it. I guess if I were asked to encapsulate what I love and believe in, one word would have to be *diversity* and one concept would have to be *unity in diversity*. I'm a traveller and a seeker and always will be. Suffice it to say I can wax lyrical about things I feel passionate about, and act upon them as well.
Hi everyone, look no further the perfect housemate is here right before your eyes. I am a 20year old female and work as an aged care nurse who is looking to live in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I am clean and considerate and reliable housemate looking for similar people to live with. Now thats all said now its time for the important part I am young and work hard therefore I enjoy a sneaky wine on a weekend, but only have a few friends which means you can come home knowing you wont walk in on a bunch of sorority girls playing drunken twister or jock named 'Trent' downing a beer bong. I am single which means you will never be awake at 3am listening to a pointless argument that stemmed from an Instagram like on a chicks photo. I believe in sharing my cheese with fellow housemates when faced with the potential harm of a cheeseless toastie and i'm sure as anything believe (for your kidneys sake) you may borrow my milk if it avoids drinking a black coffee. Most importantly, I'm looking at living With housemates not Against. Im about good vibes and happy times :) I have baggage of 4 resilient plants and a guitar. Please feel free to drain my pathetic battery life of my phone with you notifications and messages Cheers Renae
Hello :) My son (12) and I have just recently moved to the area and we are looking for more permanent accommodation. We don't mind if we are to share a room, we are mainly looking for somewhere affordable. I work 4 days a week and my son attends shearwater Steiner school. We are respectful, pleasant and fun loving people. We love going to the beach, going on bush walks and sometimes just having some down time days. We are creative and often like doing arts and craft activities. I can afford up to $250 a week. And I don't mind travelling for the right place. If we sound like what you might be looking for please contact me. Thank you and look forward to hearing from you soon. :)
I am quiet, clean, considerate and honest. I always pay my rent on time and have reference's from real estates. The only thing that is that I do have pets; a small dog and two cats. They are all house trained and lovely natured. My dog gets on with other dogs and my cats don't kill any wildlife. I study part-time online and work in the front office of a resort. I can be social at times but I also like my own space. I actually don't go out that much and would probably suit a more settled non-party house hold. The things I do enjoy are reading, the beach, animals and movies. I hate to sound demanding but I will most likely need my own bathroom, I do have a kitty litter and I am sure other housemates won't appreciate that ha!
Hi! 😊 I'm a professional muso, gigging the East Coast on weekends. I'm currently also studying digital photography online and about to start another course at Kingscliffe Tafe starting in July. My friends say I'm funny, spiritual, creative, honest, respectful & communicative.. and I agree with them 😊 I've lived in sharehouses before and understand the dynamics of respecting personal & shared spaces, honest communication, financial responsibilities & contribution. I'd be away most weekends and in study mode most weekdays with spurts of social activities like dinners and enjoy bodyboarding and brisk walks when I can. I'm looking for either a big bedroom or space for music/camera/office use. A small studio if you will. Maybe a garage or study if bedroom isn't big enough. Anything else, just ask 😊
I'm a Belgian backpacker who already has been travelling in Australia, but wants to go back to live in Byron bay & enjoy its music scene. I'ld love to have lots of talks, laughs, BBQs, beach moments, concerts, goon evenings,... But most of all a lot of laughs!
