Hello, My name is Sky Kim, and I’m currently looking for a place to stay in Gatton with my friend starting from Sep 30 or Flexible with house owner schedule. Since it’s the two of us, we’re searching for a room suitable for two people. I completely understand how important it is to find the right people to live with, so I’d like to introduce ourselves in as much detail as possible to help you get a clear sense of who we are. We are Sky Kim and Dabin Jung — you can simply call us Sky and Dabin. I’m 29 and Vin is 30, and we are both women from South Korea. We each completed our university studies in Korea: I majored in art education and also completed a graduate program in the same field, while Dabin studied elementary education. Before coming to Australia, I had a wide range of work experiences. I worked as a store manager at a cosmetics shop, taught children at a school, and also worked at an animal hospital. Each of these roles taught me something valuable — from keeping spaces clean and organised, to staying flexible in different situations, and even learning how to care for pets. This knowledge has been especially helpful in caring for our family cat back in Korea. Dabin worked as an elementary school teacher before coming here. She enjoyed taking care of her students and preparing seasonal events for them. She has a quiet and respectful personality, and through her teaching experience, she also became more sociable and open with others. In my free time, I enjoy drawing and watching movies — especially sketching cute animals and chatting about films. Dabin enjoys reading and going for walks. She used to visit libraries often in Korea, and she’s now interested in exploring Australian literature too. She finds peace in walking and observing the world around her. Both of us are quiet, kind, and respectful. We enjoy socialising appropriately with others while also valuing privacy. We keep our space clean and tidy, enjoy cooking, and always clean up the kitchen right after meals — including doing the dishes immediately. and Both of us working in stanbroke meat factory. So we can pay the rent on time. and we have a car. Although we love animals, my cat is currently staying with our parents in Korea, so he won’t be joining us in Australia. Both of us are not smoker, and we don’t enjoy loud or disruptive parties. I tend to cook a bit longer than usual, so I’ll be using the kitchen quite often. Especially on Sundays, I need to prepare five days’ worth of lunch boxes, so I’ll be in the kitchen for quite a while 😅 If I let you know about this, I’m sure we can work it out together! Since Dabin doesn’t cook at all and I’m the only one who cooks, you’d only need to coordinate with me about the kitchen use. We came to Australia on a working holiday, inspired by its beautiful nature and the kindness of its people. My dog doesn't bark, and the cats are kept clean and healthy. My dog is good with wildlife and other animals, and she's trained to completely ignore other animals around her.
