We have two rooms available in an amazing 3 bed warehouse conversion in Abbotsford, spitting distance to Victoria Park station and Johnston Street. Local delights include Rita's Pizza, Lulie Street Tavern and Dr Morse. Easy to walk to Victoria Street, Smith Street and Brunswick St....its definitely a prime location! There is one shared toilet and bathroom downstairs and then upstairs there is bathroom en suite in Room 3. Upstairs also has a beautiful open planned kitchen and lounge area, which has just an amazing chilled out vibe. We also have a decent balcony and bbq. Additionally we have an excellent garage that can house one car and a fair amount of other storage. The property has recently been converted from a 2 bed into a 3 bed house, which means changes to our lease in May. My current housemate will be staying until then but we will require all new names to be put on the lease (approx $110 each). As the new lease doesn't kick in until 21st May, the bond wont be required immediately - keen to ensure i have the right flat mates move in. I will be staying on - so looking for housemates that will be great to live with. I'm 34 and work in data analytics, love a festival, enjoy going for a weekend drink at the locals and eating all the food Melbourne has to offer. This isn't a party house, and would like to keep it this way. Obviously have the odd shindig is more than acceptable, but I appreciate a chilled vibe for the most part. I'm currently in Room 2 but plan to move in to Room 3 upstairs when the new lease kicks in. Room 3 has an en suite, but Room 1 and 2 share a bathroom and toilet downstairs. Much of the furniture in the lounge will go as its my old housemates, but I have some items such as coffee table, a TV, a bookcase and some art. Happy to hunt for some good second hand deals and kit the space out well. Both rooms are unfurnished. Room 1 is available from 20th April. This small double room is the new room being built and has a spacious built in wardrobe. This room will cost $210 a week plus bills. Cant post any pics of this room until after this week as its still being refurbished but can confirm the dimensions are approx 3.2m x 2.5m. The bond is approx $748 Room 2 is a larger space and can fit a double or queen size bed and also has a large built in wardrobe, it also has it's own private outdoor space / small garden. This will be available early to mid May. This room will be $270 a week plus bills. This one is in the pics. The bond is approx $962 Please msg me if interested.

We are two friends that just signed a lease on a huge townhouse in Abbotsford right by Vic Park station/ oval and just off Johnston St, however being as big and great location as it is, the rent between 2 is a little steep so we're looking for a 3rd to fill the extra bedroom! Obviously not being signed off we dont have a major opinion on the little details yet as we’re just moving in.
I am heading overseas and renting out my room whilst I am away for a couple of months. This is a great house to live in! You will be sharing the house with Robbie who is respectful and tidy. The house is very cosy, quiet and has a great outdoor space to hang or to keep a car/bikes. The room is a great size with lots of wardrobe space and natural light and a beautiful old fireplace. The house is in a fantastic location! Right in the heart of Collingwood so very easy access into the city or anywhere! Close to tram, train and bus and great cycle paths you can get anywhere. It is a really nice house to hang in, you have privacy due to the big old walls and the bathroom is at the back of the house so you don't disturb in the mornings. It is a great place to live especially being so close to Smith Street and Johnston Street - so much to do close by! Price includes all bills including water, utilities, WiFi and general house products. The room and house are fully furnished so you just need to bring yourself and your things and there is some storage if you need including double wardrobes and some shelving. I can be flexible on the move in and move out dates so if you need to we can work something out.
Hi all, I'm Tom a recent graduate engineer, working full time in the city. I'm easy going, open minded and a non-smoker. I enjoy running / walking outside, and am always up for outdoor activities (as long as I have time). Furthermore I enjoy having a drink of coffee or a pint down the pub and enjoy relaxing at home reading/watching TV. I am generally fairly neat and will keep any mess restricted to my room, I don't have any pets but am more than happy if you have a pet dog/cat/lizard. I'm looking for a clean and neat place with friendly and social housemates or to start up a share house with someone else. I'm ready to move in as within the next two weeks if possible but don't mind waiting a while. Don't care about gender. Car parking is ideal but not necessary. I hope to hear from you soon.
Hey there! My name Abby. I am studying, part time, Foreign Languages at Monash University. I work full time in the CBD, at T2. It's a specialty tea store, so I have a lot of free tea to offer. I own the most friendly and adorable red toy poodle named kumo, he's house trained and his breed doesn't shed hair. I am a dancer, go to church on Thursdays and Sundays and love to explore VIC when uni isn't so hectic. I am clean, non smokers, don't really party hardcore but I am quite social. We are getting a car in the near future but im flexible with parking options. Ideally I'm looking for a place for me and my poodle but my boyfriend can always take him instead. Cheers!
Hi, I'm Jeremy, I'm moving into the area due to work. Flexible with the move date, happy to move in earlier or later if I find the right place. Looking for min 6 months with the possibility of extension Bit about me: Busy IT professional working full time and working on a couple of personal side projects - Laid back and easy going - Definitely not a party animal. Not much of a drinker and don't smoke, but don't mind drinkers - Love movies, short courses, cycling, trying to exercise more - Landmark Forum graduate :-) Calm and level headed - Travelled overseas and lived with diverse group of people - Born and grew up in the lucky country - Prefer room for a bicycle (indoors in a bike cage or garage or bedroom) Quiet but social, easygoing, laid back. Not really looking for anything specific, just people I can get along with and have a chat with every now and then. Would be great if they're into cycling or movies. A movie/tv fan. No specific requirements with food. Prefer to organise my own, but more than happy to share food every now and then. Would prefer 2+ flatmates, but not a deal breaker! Can do 6 or 12 months
Hey I'm Flo and I'm a Registered Nurse from the Gold Coast (QLD). I've been living in Melbourne for just over 2 years now. I have a pretty chilled personality and get along well with other people (and their doggos and cats). When I'm not at work, I'm usually binge watching a series on Netflix, at the gym, reading a book at the park/beach, exploring new places, driving to far places for short distances of time, going out for a few (or many) bevs, attending gigs and festivals or I'm napping (nurse life). I enjoy cooking and usually like to meal prep for the week depending on how busy my week will be. I love having a chat and spending time with my housemates but I also enjoy my alone time too and respect others and their needs. I'm essentially looking to join an already existing share house but I'm also open to team-up! :)
Den and I are both full time employed; she as a barber in South Yarra and me as a bartender in a Steakhouse in the CBD. As we both have been trough lots of travel in the past years, we know how important it is to have a place to call home; with our own place to relax but also with nice people to spend free time together. In our time off, we are always keen for going out for drinks as well as doing short road trips around wonderful Victoria to practice yoga and take beautiful pictures!
I have recently moved to Melbourne from Sydney and I am looking for somewhere north of the river to be closer to work (and embrace my inner hipster). I am working full-time in hospitality both in a pub and a Hunky Dory franchise. Being chilled out, having a chat and cleaning up after myself are things I love to do as a flatmate. I am very friendly, but I am also respectful of other people's privacy. I like movies, YouTube, good food, beer and coffee, exercise, music and generally just having some fun. If I sound like the right fit for you, please hit me up :D
Hi, my name is Efekan, 25 year-old civil engineer from Istanbul, Turkey. I'm here in Melbourne to work&live for at least 18 months.
I'm Igor, 28, working full-time as a digital content producer in the automotive media industry. Looking to team-up with friendly and like-minded flatmates to find a modern 2+ bedroom house/apartment. I'm super chill and easy going. Always down to chat over beer/whisky and netflix after work, but will always be respectful of your personal space. I'm into cars, motorsport, photography, jazz vibes, cooking, movies, docos and occasional gaming. Love interior design so would like to keep the place fresh and tidy (think IKEA catalogue), also means that I'm very clean and organised. I also enjoy driving so would occasionally disappear for short random drives, so if you need to go to the shops I'd happily be your free Uber driver! Keen to move ASAP so send me a text if you're interested. Speak soon!

I'm looking for a nice bunch of folks to live with somewhere in the inner suburbs. A fairly easy-going housemate, I like to socialise with the people I live with, but respect the privacy of others. I love a good bike ride- motorcycle or bicycle. I love all things aviation, and with a glider licence under my belt would also like to learn how to paraglide and/or hang glide sometime soon! I've spent a few years travelling around the place and doing different kinds of work including a lot of English teaching, but now would like to settle back into Melbourne, at least for the time being. Look forward to meeting you!
Hey, what's up? I am returning to melbs after 5 or 6 years away. Was working as an ambo in the country then left to rock climb in Europe, USA and Canada (3 years). Pretty active but not in a weird CrossFit way, more like the normal adventure way. climbing is my jam but looking at sky diving or paragliding as next thing. work now is rope access related so sometimes work away for periods depending on contracts.
Hello, I moved to Melbourne from Vancouver, Canada. I'm 23 and super organized, clean and respectful person looking to find a place to live for the next 6 months. I currently work full time in Collingwood. If you have two private rooms available, I have a friend who would love to join me as well. Thank you, Samara
I work full time and also have my own health coaching and hypnotherapy business which I am building on the side. I can work long hours (when combined with my own business), but I enjoy a glass of wine through the week and catch up with friends on the weekend! I'd describe myself as friendly, down to earth, tidy and respectful of others. I'm not looking for a loud busy house, just a place to relax and share a meal or drink when the opportunity to arises. **Please note that I am unable to move until after 30th June 2018**
