Amazing renovated warehouse in Abbotsford, right nearby Victoria Park station. Cant emphasise how good the location is if you like this area. Near to Victoria Street for the best Vietnamese, near to Smith Street for all the fun offered there, and 3 great pubs almost on our doorstep (Lulie Street, Dr Morse and the Yarra Hotel). Despite this, the road is relatively quiet and noise isnt an issue. The house is a 3 bed, with a shared downstairs bathroom and the room on the top floor is en suite. The upstairs has a vibey open planned kitchen and lounge, with plenty of light, heating and air conditioning. We also have a terrace and bbq, which we use a lot. Furthermore, we have our own garage, which also has plenty of storage space. The room is fairly small, but you can fit a double size and has a recently fitted large in-built wardrobe. Bills are on top of rent. Please contact us if interested to take a look.

Available for move in TODAY! My partner and moved out Friday to our own place after 5 happy years here so looking for someone to rent it ASAP. Large fully furnished queen room in a large 3 floor 3 bedroom house. Sharing with a lovely couple who live on their own floor with their own en-suite bathroom, and a professional gourmet chef who is rarely home. So you basically have the top floor, and middle floor to yourself. Large shared bathroom for the two rooms - with a massive shower and bathtub. Furnished with large queen bed, desk and chair, built in wardrobe. Covered gated secured bicycle parking. Car park is taken by couple but there is quite limited free parking and lots of free 4P on the street outside if you leave rarely use your car/take your car to work during the day. We CANNOT get another permit, I'm sorry. We've tried everything. House is close to many buses on Johnston Street, Victoria Park station (two train lines 24 hours with trains every 10 minutes to the CBD taking 8 minutes) or a 13 minute cycle to the CBD. On the bank of the Yarra river, next to the amazing Abbotsford Convent and famous Lentils as Anything restaurant and the massive green Yarra Bend / Studley Park. Close to a great super cheap gym $30/month! Sorry no couples. No pets. 4 week bond. No need to go on the lease. Cheap bills (water, electricity, gas). We have WIFI. Min stay 6 months (can be extended).
This 2-storey 2-bedroom townhouse is extremely spacious, with a large living/dining/balcony area. The room available is also a lot larger than what it looks, the photos don't do it justice! Only a 5-min walk to Victoria Park station and close to all your favourite Abbotsford hotspots. Having lived in a variety of suburbs across Melbourne throughout my life, I would have to say this would be the best spot I've ever lived in. The location will best appeal to people working in the CBD / Abbotsford / Richmond / East Melbourne / Collingwood.
Hey there, We are picking up the keys to this place in a quiet street just off Johnston Street in Abbotsford on Friday and are looking for someone to fill the third room as soon as possible. The place is ideally located a 5 minute walk (if that) to Victoria Park Station, and walkable to all the restaurants, pubs, and bars that the inner north has to offer. The house will be fully furnished except for your room, and includes modern kitchen, modern bathroom, split system air con / heating and polished floorboards. It also has a nice little backyard area (pictured). Please note these pics are the real estate agent's pictures taken prior to us moving in. The room itself has built in wardrobes, ample space for a queen or double bed. Housemates: You will be living with one 31 year old guy who works an office job in the city, and one 30 year old guy who works in community services. We are mates and very social however we both also have our own separate lives and will often be out and about doing our own thing. We are both 9-5ers and keep it pretty civil during the week. You: We are looking for someone late 20s / early 30s who is social and up for a chat / drink / hang after work or on the weekend, but also has their own thing going on too. There is no preference on gender. We are after someone who works normal hours as we value our sleep during the week. You must also be willing to go on the lease (bond is $1500)
Originally from Canberra, but promise I'm more not boring! Currently living in Kew but seeking an unfurnished room in the the inner north area. Full time Project Manager working in the far Eastern suburbs. Enjoy making tunes and spinning decks in my spare time, as well as hitting the gym and playing bball. Keen to join a household that's up for occasional hangouts or shared meals. I'm easy going, open minded and considerate. Looking for a home with house mates, not just a house with strangers.
Hi, I'm Jeremy, I'm moving into the area due to work. Flexible with the move date, happy to move in earlier or later if I find the right place. Looking for min 6 months with the possibility of extension Bit about me: Busy IT professional working full time and working on a couple of personal side projects - Laid back and easy going - Definitely not a party animal. Not much of a drinker and don't smoke, but don't mind drinkers - Love movies, short courses, cycling, trying to exercise more - Landmark Forum graduate :-) Calm and level headed - Travelled overseas and lived with diverse group of people - Born and grew up in the lucky country - Prefer room for a bicycle (indoors in a bike cage or garage or bedroom) Quiet but social, easygoing, laid back. Not really looking for anything specific, just people I can get along with and have a chat with every now and then. Would be great if they're into cycling or movies. A movie/tv fan. No specific requirements with food. Prefer to organise my own, but more than happy to share food every now and then. Would prefer 2+ flatmates, but not a deal breaker! Can do 6 or 12 months
G'day! 29 year old nurse, big time chuckler who is easy going, clean (I enjoy the satisfaction of the cleaning and don't care about cleaning up after others, I do it for me, you can reap the benefits) who gets a real kick out of being responsible (paying the bills on time, buying common items etc). Big fan of : - Indoor plants and outdoor plants aka parks - Cooking and eating (thanks Nona) - TV (Nathan for You, It's Always Sunny, The Simpsons and Seinfeld on heavy rotation) - Pints and pool (striking the right balance where the flukes start to feel like real talent) - Laughing until my belly hurts and no sound is coming out

Hey! I’m Caity and I’m moving to Melbourne end of January! I’m looking for 6 months with potential to stay indefinitely if I like it. I’m a pretty flexible housemate and tend to match my style to the people I live with. I keep communal areas clean & tidy but am not going to nag you if you leave the dishes for a day or two. I’m a bit of a workaholic but enjoy my downtime over a glass of wine, baking, going to the beach/for a hike, or spending my days off watching Netflix. And I’m always down for a night out! I am after my own (unfurnished) room, preferably in a furnished house. I’d prefer my own bathroom but happy to share. I also bake cupcakes and cookies and you are more than welcome to help me eat them! Messages on here or text only please! (:
Been in Melbourne for 12 months now having moved across from Perth last year. I'm a professional environmental consultant, clean and tidy and pretty laid back. My interests include Film, Theatre, Food, Socialising and the outdoors.
I’m an Australian girl who has just return from living in the UK and looking to settle in Melbourne. I am friendly, relaxed, outgoing, clean, social but also like time to myself. I am looking to make some new friends in this place I’ll call home! I am open to any area of Melbourne and the outskirts, but have been mainly recommended to look Richmond. I am very approachable and would love you to send me a message if your interested! Can't wait to hear from you.
Hello, I'm Luke, I'm a 29yo optometrist originally from the outer south east Melbourne suburbs though I haven't lived in Melbourne permanently for almost 6 years now since I finished uni. I'm looking to move back to inner city Melbourne and find a job in Melbourne after spending the last year working as a fly in-fly out locum optometrist around Australia. Before that I spent 18m holidaying in Europe and working in hospitality in Britain and before that I lived in Bendigo for about 3 years. As a housemate I'm sociable, respectful, cleaner than 80-90% of the general population. My interests include cycling/fitness, music/playing guitar, interesting/intelligent conversation/politics.
Hello there! I’m 25, work full time in the city, volunteer for a queer youth charity, and love dancing, cooking, travel and curious conversations. I’m a non-smoker and eat everything. My ideal day off? Yoga, eggs benedict, galleries/markets/wandering, wine with pals and soul-warming music, and a hearty boogie to some disco/reggaeton/trashy pop. I’m looking for a happy, queer-friendly, laidback, clean home. I’m always up for a housemate dinner or dfloor excursion, but equally happy chilling out in my own space. Ideally I’m hoping to move in mid-January, and then for my fab girlfriend Em to join the house in early March (she’s away at the mo and happy to Skype into interviews - you will love her, she’s a ray of sunshine!). Happy to be flexible with rent, timing etc. Cheers and have a glorious day!
I love to cook, clean, put on some music, enjoy a glass of wine and can entertain you with terrible puns! Originally grew up in Queensland, I took a gap year travelling around Central and South America before settling in London for the past 2 years. I travelled a little more of Europe before moving here and getting back into full time work. 7/7 on being great friends with all my housemates in the past :)
I'm from Argentina, love cooking and sharing chats, meals, movies and time with people. I've just moved to Melbourne, spent the last year working as duty manager and bartender in port Douglas. I'm honest, respectful, open minded, relax and social, being far from my family makes me appreciate even more friendship. i'm looking for a place to live with people who are in the same page as me.
