Hey I'm Olivia, I'm 24 years old and I'm moving to Adelaide for my research project to write a thesis for my medical studies. I will be working at Flinders University so I'm looking for a place in the south of the city. I grew up in Australia, however I moved to Germany with my mom and my older brother when I was young and started my studies here. Now I am returning for my medical dissertation and to visit family and I'll be staying for about a year before going back to Germany to finish my university courses. I've been living in shared flats for the last five years and love this way of living. I like having people around for a quick chat and spending the evenings cooking together (though I only eat vegetarian food, otherwise I'm not picky) or the occasional game night. I will probably be out a few nights a week for training as I am planning to join a Volleyball Team (I've been playing since I was seven years old) however that is still in planing as it seems to be quite difficult to transfer from Germany. If that doesn't work out I might just have to play a lot of beach volleyball. Usually I play the piano, however I most likely wont have an instrument when in Adelaide so don't worry about me making a lot of noise (I might try to get a second hand electronic one from ebay or such). I also enjoy artsy stuff, tough I usually don't have a lot of time to spend on it sadly. In general I'm a fairly active person, I like going outside, here in Germany I go hiking a lot in summer and sometimes skiing or snowboarding in winter. I might try to get into surfing while in Australia to substitute the missing mountains (I've only been a few times while in Australia to visit my dad). Otherwise I like to go out for food or any kind of events out and about. However I do also enjoy my downtime at home watching movies or reading or just killing time on my phone of course. I like to keep communal areas clean, especially in the kitchen. If I do leave a mess anywhere it is strictly in my room and I appreciate it when my flatmates do the same.
