I'm a single mother to be, very clean & like to help out as much as I possibly can! honest and pretty chilled out . currently 8 months pregnant doing it on my own at 16 . Unemployed at the moment but looking into either school or tafe . I know I don't have a lot to offer but I'm in desperate need of a room and I'm willing to do whatever I can to get one as soon as possible! :)
This is a fantastic, quiet place in a great neighborhood. Only a 10 minute walk to the Esplanade to walk along the lake or go to a cafe or restaurant or to do your grocery shopping. It only takes 5 minutes to drive to Charlestown Square, about 15-20 min to drive in town ($20 Uber). 15 minute drive to Redhead beach. The room for rent is 265cm x 330cm and have built in wardrobes. The whole house is furnished except the bedroom so all you need is your bed!
Hi, there are two of us, Patrick and Jo looking for a like minded person to share a house. We follow a Vegetarian and Vegan diet and a spiritual lifestyle. We don't like to party, prefer a peaceful and stable home life. We enjoy yoga, meditation and watching good art house films. We both work in the community Services sector, Pat is also studying. We are both pretty neat, tidy and clean, expect anyone we share with to always clean up after themselves. We are both non-smokers and non-drinkers. We plan to have our small medium Kelpie x dog live with us, she will not go well with any other animals, so no other pets sorry. If this sounds like a good fit for you to share a 3-bedroom house with us, please message us and NO time wasters read our profile and only contact if you are also Vegan or Vego and non-smoker and non-drinker :) Thanks
I work full time and study by distance. On my weekends I enjoy catching up with friends and exploring Newcastle. I have family only a few hours drive away so visit them often.
a nice and modern house (4 bedrooms) with 5 min walking to coast. Currently a coupe occupied a bedroom and 2 more individuals. The 4 quiet mates are living in well and one more (last) bedroom is furnished / available to share because the occupier has job-moved to Sydney. The 2 individuals are professionals who work 8am-18pm / 7am-17pm so most of time not at home but likes gardening / fishing at weekend.
Hey I'm Lisa, Im a 24-year-old Childcare worker looking to find a place around Cameron Park, Fletcher, Glendale or Warners Bay. I'm super clean, cook well, love a glass or wine or bourbon and am a huge foodie. I enjoy going for walks, watching movies and spending time with family and friends at a nice cafe or shopping. I'm always up for a random adventure. Although I do have a 1-year-old cat named Mia who is super friendly and is really tiny for her age. Mia is bathed once a month to get rid of any dander on her fur which may cause allergies, she spends her days outside and comes in to sleep. I own a fridge, washing machine, lounge, microwave and out door setting as well as loads of other household items and my bedroom furniture. Please message me if you're interested in sharing a house. I really want a nice modern home that I can live in for a couple of years.
2 young females looking for a place to stay somewhere close to Newcastle. Tara is a professional footballer and currently plays for the Newcastle Jets Women's team, as well as working at McDonalds and The Coffee Club. Clare is currently working 2 nannying jobs 5 days a week. We have recently adopted an 18 week old rescue kitten named Shadow and unfortunately that has made it harder to find a home. If we sound suitable for you, then please feel free to contact us and let us know :)
I am a 30yr old professional looking to move from Brisbane. I will be working long hours, but enjoy having a wine, cheese and crackers, and netflix. I like exercising, enjoy going on walks and cooking. I am clean, not a big party person, but excited to explore what Newcastle has to offer!
Hey 🙋🏻 I'm Kim, I am 23 years old have relocated from Dubbo about 9months ago now. I work full time at an employment agency, also have started my first year at UON studying teaching. I am not so much a partier but I do love A casual drink on a hot summer arvo! I'm not looking for just a "room" but more of the homely lifestyle, wanting to live with people who could potentially become long life friends. I have a fun bubbly personality and am easy to get along with. I am clean and tidy person.. If I seem like your new roomie, hit me up I love meeting new people.
Currently renting with a nice couple, have been here for around 18 months but the lease is up in May so looking for a new place. My roommate is very neat and tidy so I've picked up some good habits! I'm a full time software developer working in Newcastle, currently the drive is around 45 mins so hoping to move a little closer. I'm pretty easy going and respectful but don't mind the occasional beer with mates at the pub on the weekend after a game of cricket/soccer. Looking for somewhere where I can still have a little space but don't mind socialising. My girlfriend lives out of the country but when she comes to visit we are barely home. There are 4 pets here currently (none are mine) so I'm quite happy to live with furballs/take care of them when needed if you have any.
I am a very fun friendly and happy person; I'm very neat and tidy. I'm not into the whole party scene &I like to keep my home as a sort of 'my time' type place (so that I don't have any friends rocking up unannounced or things like that). :)
Hi there, moving to Newcastle as I've just scored a full-time job in Warners Bay. I am clean, tidy, bubbly and easy to get along with as well as reliable with paying rent and bills. Please message me if you have something close to warners bay! Thanks Soph :)
Hey hey all potential new roomies!! I am a 36yr old chick, who has played the share accommodation game before, so I am very familiar in how the whole thing rolls. I was renting my last place for nearly13 years, but it was 2 storey, & due to some health reason I unfortunately had to bid the house goodbye, & now looking to start the next chapter in a single level dwelling. I am looking to stay living around the Charlestown/ Warners Bay area's, but not further out than Warners Bay either. I would ideally like to find someone between the age of 30 & 40yrs of age to find a property & to co sign a lease with, I know this is probably a little discriminating to all those awesome people who fall outside this age bracket but I am just past the stage of where my house is a frat house every weekend, but I am not quite ready for bowls, bingo & the purple rinse brigade just yet either. I am fairly easy going, who loves a chat, & doesn't mind whipping up a feed & having a cheeky beer or vino. I am looking to move asap. So if all that sounds like I am someone you would potentially like to move in with, then flick us an email or give us a call. Thanks
Im 20 years old and am an extremely social and friendly person, but I also enjoy keeping to myself at times. I am very clean and have to live in a tidy area. I'm looking to move in with females only. I am a very creative and artsy person, and I sing and play some acoustic guitar and piano so a room mate would have to be ok with that. I like to get out of the house a lot, and spend most of my time at the beach. Im also starting at Newcastle uni this feb. That's pretty much it!
First time moving out of home, can't stand the place anymore as one would understand. I'm 25, single, work full time as a carpenter. Very clean and tidy, quiet though very social. This will be the first time living with other people other then my family so I'm not sure how long I'd plan on staying. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
I am a clean, quiet, friendly, helpful 57 year old man.I am very easy to get along with and always pay my rent and bills.I am a retired mechanic/handyman and can be very helpful to have around. I am single, No pets,Dont smoke never taken drugs and rarely have a drink. I hope to find a place long term with some off street parking. The accommodation does not have to be perfect or modern, but not falling down either. If the place needs some work I am happy to do it as well. I live in Sydney south but looking to move further north. Anything out of the congestion. I am open to other areas.
27 year old chiropractic student who works in a chiropractic clinic in Newcastle Has a friendly furry Alaskan Malamute puppy Uni is in Sydney so will travel to and from in second semester Massive gym and health freak Not a party going but happy to chill out with people :)
Hi :) I'm a very down to earth, bubbly and really easy to get along with person hoping to find a nice place near the water to hopefully call home in shared accommodation with likeminded person/people. Currently working full time during the week in a very stable job.
We have a home on beautiful Lake Macquarie where the walking/ cycling track and boat ramp are only 400 meters from the front door with beaches from only 15 mins away and the bus stop only a short 50 meter walk. We have a two story home where we will live upstairs and you would be self-sufficient downstairs. Your living areas will include a freshly painted and newly carpeted 2.65 m x 3.73 m bedroom, bathroom, lounge room and kitchen. You are welcome to use the in ground pool and QLD room with BBQ. The bedroom has a built in 2 door mirrored wardrobe, ceiling fan and double bed which you are welcome to use, we can swap it for a king single or we can remove it if you have your own bed. There is a TV antenna point in the room and several power points.
I have views over the lake and a reserve. It really is a nice outdoor environment. I have a very large downstairs room available for a female or male (sorry no couples). The room is furnished with a QS bed, side tables and lamps, table and chairs, coffee table, single bed set up as a sofa, television, shelves and hanging space. You will have your own bathroom (shower and toilet), a shared laundry. The laundry also has a bar fridge, small microwave, kettle, toaster for your use as is the vacuum cleaner! Your room looks out onto the pool which is on the same level and very handy with this hot weather. The house is also airconditioned. Kitchen and main living area are upstairs. There is a space to park a car off the street but not covered. It says I should talk about rules in this section...... hmmm - I have three cats. You don't have to love them but it's their house too. They get along well with females but cautious about males (I'm talking about humans here) - visitors - for discussion - I have the NBN but only 50MB per month so if you download music and movies we would need to discuss. - non smoker - Can't think of anything else right now.
Hi, I'm Ashlee, 30yr old female. Fully furnished room available now. 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom. (however one room will not be rented) $190 per week - unlimited internet and bills included in rent. Parking at the front of the property. Two lounge rooms with TV's so plenty of room to have your own space.
The first room has a built in robe,a single bed can be supplied if required The second room has a desk,a single bed can be supplied if required. The house has a well equipped kitchen, large open plan living areas, sun room, pool and vegetable garden. NBN connected 500Gb at 25/5 speed. The rent includes all bills and includes pool usage. I have a cat so no pets preferred. The house is situated on the 317 bus route, is close to Mt Hutton shops and only a 5 minute drive to Charlestown Square. Also less than 10 minutes drive to Redhead and Dudley Beaches. Very close to bush reserve. Central to Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, situated two minutes off the Newcastle Inner City Bypass which takes you everywhere. Plenty of on street parking.
Hi there. I'm a 33 year old preschool teacher. Non-smoker, non-drinker (but happy for others to drink around me). I work part time in a Kindy Room of a long day care centre, and am an aspiring children's picture book author. I'm friendly and bubbly, but also enjoy time on my own. I'm neat and tidy but not OCD. Have been renting with 2 roommates for past 4 years, and it has been great, but our circumstances are changing so I'm in need of a new place. Prior to that I rented on my own for 5 years. My rent has always been paid on time, as have my bills (read: I am very reliable and trustworthy).
Quinn and I are really mature for our age. We can not afford renting alone due to saving a substantial amount of our weekly wage towards a house deposit (we are almost there!) We have a Staffy - Hunter, who gets along with other animals and isn't a hassle. He goes to work with Quinn on most sites. We both work fulltime Monday - Friday. I work in Medical Administration and Quinn is a builder. We both play competitive soccer and train twice a week, with games over the weekend. We are super easy going, friendly people & you won't need to worry about domestics lol! We are outdoors people and get away for weekends as often as we can. We love camping, 4WD and the beach! Meagan loves travelling but in this period will stay pretty grounded! We love to socialise but we are not party people. We don't smoke. Quinn and I are planning on renting in a share style house until October-November 2017. We would prefer to only live with one or two other people & we are happy to live with any sort of animals! I don't mind getting domestic and Quinn is a bit OCD with the lawns always being tidy so you can count on him to look after that stuff!
3 bedroom house, has two toilets but only one bathroom. close to warners bay and cardiff shops not to far from kotara and charlestown I do have a dog but he lives outside and never comes inside Do have foxtel in main loungeroom
Happy, quiet, responsible, pay rent on time, likes and gives respect to others. Keeps active, looking for a long term with all bills included. Prefers not overcrowded places. Close to transport. Likes Pets. I have my own bed, looking for a private room. Not into parties, enjoys day living, walking, gardening at times. The locations 1) in the Newcastle choices have to be close to the Princes Highway to help me catch the 350 bus route bound to Swansea early morning, this bus is frequent during peak times which sets my traveling time very tight during non-peak hours. or 2) In the Revesby area or 3) in North Parramatta or 4) in Bankstown
Hey, my name is Zoe and I'm eighteen years old, I'm currently searching for a place to move whether that be to a share house or a new house where I can find roommates of my own to move in as well :) I'm extremely friendly, I'm quiet but social, I'm very clean, I don't party rarely ever, same goes with drinking and I don't smoke or do drugs of any kind, I'm very much into makeup, piercings and tattoos, I don't currently have a job but I am looking for one and am receiving help from a job provider for that, I get Centrelink money and my grandparents will be helping me out financially until I have found a job, I love animals of all kinds, I have a boyfriend who I see quite frequently and who stays over night once a week and visits during the day twice a week, but he will not be living with me, if anyone is interested in finding a house with me or if anyone has a spare room I can rent please send me a message, I'm happy to answer any questions :)
Hi I'm nathan, I work in retail and I'm a bit of a quiet guy. I keep to myself sometimes but I always try to be courteous and respectful for others and their property and love to share. I like to read books and the occasional movie or tv show in my spare time
I have a 6 year old male border collie, who is a giant lap dog. Whilst I'd prefer to bring him with me, it is not a deal breaker if I can't. I'm quiet, but also enjoy the occasional get together. I'm currently studying B. Psychology at UoN, and work part time in hospitality/kitchens.
Looking for work at the moment. back to uni in July, still have enough to cover bond and rent. I'm clean, respectful and easy going. I don't smoke, don't mind if you do. I drink on occasion and don't have any pets. Message me if you have a room available, thanks.
Hello! I'm 25 years old, born and bred in Newcastle, and having just returned from overseas am looking for somewhere new to call home. Over the years I've lived with males and females, friends and strangers of varying ages, and in places ranging from 14 beds to cosy little terraces, so I'm very much aware of respecting personal space/possessions (but I also like to be social and have the odd dinner or share a bottle of wine or six when time permits). I'm in the final year of my degree this year (and working part-time) so I am looking for somewhere relatively chill whilst I'm up to my neck in study. I'm an easy-going and liberal kind of person so whatever you're into there's no dramas on my end, but I just can't be living in a trap house. I do also like to keep things pretty clean and tidy (within reason), so I'm looking to live with like-minded people in that regard. I'm very conscious of being respectful and cleaning up after myself properly, so to that end you're never going to find a dirty kitchen bench/sink full of dishes/washing machine full of half-damp laundry/bathroom sink full of beard when you get home and just want to relax. If you've got some kind of cleaning routine just let me know what you need me to take over and we're good. I stay pretty active and in my spare time I love to surf, run and box. On top of that I really enjoy cooking for myself and for others (I don't eat meat but it's just a personal choice and I couldn't care less if you do), and if I'm feeling lazy you can find me draped over a piece of furniture with a book at any given hour. Alternatively, if you have a pet I will spend the vast majority of my life patting it, and if it's a dog I'm very happy to run it for you if you ever need. Now that you have this riveting insight into my existence, please get in touch if you've got any questions or if you'd like to meet up for a drink/chat! Cheers.
Friendly, adaptable full time student looking for a place in between the beach and uni. Pretty neat and tidy, happy to help chip in with the chores and always down for some quiet drinks. Half Australian/Thai, I have spent a few years growing up in Singapore. I'm pretty relaxed, outgoing and I love spending time in the surf.
My name's Mitch, I'm 19. I'm employed full time in IT I work a shift roster. 4 on 4 off, totaling 48 hours over an 8 day rotation. When I'm at home I enjoy relaxing. Usually at my computer, listening to music or reading a book. I'd like a casual and laid back living environment, yet clean and social :)
Considerate non-smoking, drug free, quiet individual who is well out of my party life but definitely up for a drink and a feed at the pub. Currently getting my bachelors at uni in science. Can drive. Pet is a single almost year old female desexed cat that is the silliest, sweetest thing who high fives for dinner. I volunteer animal rescue and welfare in my spare time. I have an almost whole house worth of furniture (need a new fridge but i do have a bar freezer).
