    Toria

    $270/week19 year old woman

Hey, I'm Toria! I'm a 19-year-old hoping to move to the Hunter Valley before I commence my studies. I'm typically very quiet and reserved, keeping to myself by reading, gaming, creating art, or taking care of and spending time with my pets. I like my space to be quite tidy, and I really value a peaceful environment. I'm currently employed as a technical support officer. My work involves providing administrative support for staff, managing assets and audits, and maintaining technology in the workplace. I have a rescue greyhound named Tama. He's a sweet and sleepy boy, spending most of his time relaxing and keeping me company. He's quiet and very well-mannered. Tama is house trained, meaning he knows to follow general house rules and conventions; he's not destructive, messy, or dangerous. He currently lives without a backyard, so he's an inside dog most of the time. He currently lives with two cats, and he works quite well with them. He was an ex-racing dog, so he requires extra monitoring and handling around cats and other small dogs. He is still well-behaved around these animals; there is just the potential for unwanted behaviour if left unsupervised. My dog is everything to me! It's important to me that we move into a pet-friendly home where everyone is comfortable. Tama is very friendly and social with medium/large dogs, cats, and other people. He appreciates any attention he can get. As for other housing criteria, I'm very flexible. Just let me know what works for you! I am currently unavailable for in-person inspections, but I can make time if necessary. Thanks a bunch! :P

    $300/week25 year old man

I’m an old soul and would best describe myself as an ambivert. I have a balanced need of personal downtime and spending time with others in order to keep me feeling best. I mostly prefer to socialise in smaller groups with the opportunity for quality time and deeper conversation (think campfire with a few friends having a drink, coffee at the local cafe, bushwalk/beach trip or going out to see some live music). I’m a neat and tidy person who values personal hygiene and finds comfort in cleanliness and organisation. OCCUPATION AND STUDY • Casual bush regenerator • Casual retail team member at Bunnings • Drum tutor • Studying a Cert 3 in Conservation and Ecosystem Management at Newcastle TAFE until end of year. MORE ABOUT ME I am a Christian and attend church most Sundays, although I'm not bothered about living with others who don't share the same beliefs. I have a diverse range of friends from all walks of life who I love. I’m more interested in spending time with people who are positive to be around, share common interests and motivated to improve their lifestyle, health and fitness. Currently boarding in Floraville with a family and other people but ideally looking to find a more permanent rental catered to my needs. HOBBIES/INTERESTS I play the drums in a country band, usually gig about 2 times a month and sometimes travel away for a weekend for gigs. Also play drums once a month at Church. I enjoy going out to see live music at least once every weekend, going out dancing (rockabilly and swing style) for lessons once a week and out on the weekend to a band, listening to my records, coffee at my local cafe, a beer at the pub or wine and spirits somewhere more fancy. I also like reading and listening to podcasts. I love being outside - camping, beach, bushwalking, gardening and staying active when I can such as social sport/exercise. I place a high priority on refining my own health and wellbeing. Unfortunately this has fallen to the wayside a bit recently but still includes trying to live as eco-friendly and sustainably as I can, whilst also reducing toxin exposure through cooking, cleaning, eating and cosmetic products. I understand this isn't everyones priority but it would be highly desirable to seek a housemate with a similar mindset/lifestyle. Lastly, a house with decent amount of storage space in a shed/garage would be ideal. I currently have a 3x4.5m storage shed worth of tools, music gear, plus other bits and pieces costing me $70 per week as I haven't been able to find appropriate accommodation to house all my belongings. I am however working on thinning out what I own to reduce this burden. Thanks for taking the time to read through.
