I work full-time as an IT Engineer and am looking for a place for after I get back from Prague in early August. I'm pretty adaptable - can be social but also like downtime. I do vape so that's something to keep in mind. I go out most weekends to DnB and hardstyle events so having a friend to go sometimes would be nice. I got a husky who's super friendly (with dogs and people) but you'll need to be okay with a bit of hair (no matter how much you vacuum, you won't escape it all). I do have a slide in dog door so she can go in and out. Regarding room sizes, I need to be able to fit a king size bed and a PC (if there isn't a shared entertainment room). I also got a server but that can be placed anywhere with an ethernet connection. Hiya! I'm a part-time Geology student at Curtin looking for a small, quiet place to stay until the end of the year (Late Dec / Early Jan), when I plan on moving to Melbourne. 🛫 I bounce between a catering job during the week and community markets on the weekend, with 6/7am starts most days between that and Uni (Don't worry, I keep quiet in the morning!). ☕️ Otherwise I'd consider myself pretty chill, down to Earth, and while I like a little chat + board game here and there, I do need plenty of alone time. I pursue a host of creative hobbies (Massive D&D nerd), and especially love artsy/nature stuff, but other than spinning my folk records at low volume on occasion I’m pretty quiet generally. (Also full disclosure- I’m not the greatest chef, but I’ll try and do at least my fair share of cooking!) 🍳 I am in a relationship and don't drink very often, so no need to stress about any rowdy visitors or drunken interactions! (Smoking is a definite no for me, sorry) And as I’ve learned that this can be cause for contention- I love a somewhat colder house! ❄️ I'd been sharing a rental with a close friend and his partner for the past year, but unfortunately the place was marked for demolition and they've decided to go their own way, so I’ve had to move in with relatives until I can find an affordable new roof. (April 15th>) 🚪 Communication regarding bills/chores/cleaning is essential, and I’d say I’m pretty adaptable all-round at adjusting to different living arrangements 📝 Just looking for a chill, calm, cosy house with some good vibes and friendly people to see out the rest of the year with!
