Laid back, responsible and sociable PhD candidate/teacher working at the University of Sydney. Looking for a place where I can feel at home and housemate/s to have a meal and a few drinks with every now and then!
My name is Joanne, I am a fun and outgoing 27 year old from the UK. I am working full time close to the central train station and looking for an area with good links to work. Hello! We are a couple from Canada (I'm 25, my partner is 29) on working holiday visas and we just moved to Sydney for at least 6 months. We are looking for a comfortable, preferably furnished place to rent while we are there! Location wise, closer to cbd if possible, if not then close to train or some sort of public transport is preferred. We are clean and tidy and always respect any shared/common spaces. We both work in the restaurant industry so will most likely be working most evenings and weekends. If you work early in the mornings we are always sure to stay quiet in the evening and won't be a bother coming home loud at night. We are a social and friendly couple, however we do also keep to ourselves and are independent. Would like flatmates that we get along with well, but prefer that our place is not a party house. Ideally we would have an ensuite bathroom or at least a private one for ourselves, but we are able to share and will be sure to help keep it clean for us all if we do share. We both do not smoke and therefore prefer living with non smokers or at least no smoking in the house. Strictly no drugs though. Please message us if you have something available, we are available to move in October 27! Looking forward to hearing from you
Hi flatmates! I'm a easy going, friendly and funny person who is disposed to help anyone, I have an open mind and I love to meet new people from different country, to know about all the cultures. I love the nature, pets, music, netflix, nightlife, drink, eat and speak about anything! I can share some knowledge about computer's technology, teach a little about the Portuguese language, show the best side of culture from my country (Brazil), telling so many funny stories, besides tips about the best places to know in South America.... And of course, I can share and help with anything that comes up! After to meet all of South America, in November I will be in Sydney to study English for 6 months, and looking for a temporary job... PS. Organization, cleanliness and tidiness are essential things when you share a place with someone , don't worry , you can expect it from me. By the way, my english is not so good, that's why I will study it. Tell me if you know about somethig :) Um abraço! Gabriel Demasi

I am 23 years old Malaysian-Australian looking to move closer to the city in about a month. I am a full-time professional working in the Architecture industry. I'm after a relaxed and tidy place to live, close to public transport -- preferably a furnished, well-lit private room with ensuite or clean shared bathroom in a modern setting. I'm moving to Sydney from Perth for a full time position in the CBD in a few weeks and need a place a new place to call home! Being new and all to the city, I'll probably be spending most of my weekends out exploring the city and surrounds. I'm generally pretty clean and like to keep things neat and tidy. Would ideally like to move into a partly furnished place with the basics and I can buy my own bed, but also open to a fully furnished room.
Hi all! I am currently looking for a private room in the areas described. I am a PhD at UTS in the field of microbiology, bioinformatics and genomics. I am looking for a nice place to live, preferably in a quiet and green area. I would like to live in an international environment, with respectful and tidy/clean people. I would enjoy feeling at home with my flatmates, exchange a chat and some laughs in the evenings. I would be gone for work every working day approx. 9 to 6, and I dance twice a week. I love animals, I wouldn't mind cats or other small pets in the house :)
Hi :-) I'm 31 and have recently relocated to Sydney from the UK. I'd describe myself as easy going, happy, positive, bubbly and fun loving. I'm really laid back and like to get along with everyone. I have quite a silly sense of humour and love a good giggle and banter. I’m a social person and would be up for having dinner and drinks with my housemates but also know when to give people their own space, I like my own space at times too. I have my own group of friends that I socialise with so if you’re not wanting to socialise with housemates that is fine…equally if you are looking to socialise with your housemates I’d be up for that too…like I say I’m really easy going :-) I work in recruitment and often work long hours so I like to chill and have dinner during the week. At the weekends I like to get outside and explore, meeting up with friends, chilling at the beach, and going out for food. I love music and festivals, and I'm partial to a bit of a Netflix binge on the latest series when the weather isn’t so great. Ideally I’m looking to move in somewhere as soon as possible but this is flexible as I’m staying with friends atm so could move in later, ideally I'd like to have secured somewhere by November. For length of stay I am looking for somewhere 6-12 months. I work in the city near Martin Place so I’m flexible on location as long as I can easily commute to work. Budget is $300-$400 per week. Looking forward to finding a place to live and someone to share it with :-) If you have a place you think I would suit or want to team up please get in touch.
My partner and I have recently moved to Sydney from Brisbane and are looking for somewhere central to live. I'm a lawyer and he's in finance, but don't let that put you off! We're easy going, respectful and have lived together and separately in a number of sharehouses. We're open to joining an established house or teaming up to create one. We are active, friendly and are enjoying exploring Sydney.
I am from Perth, looking for a room somewhere near the city, I'm super social, work full time in Media/Advertising, love working out, watching most sport, playing sport, enjoying a bevy on the weekend and being around people. I'm clean, friendly and like making the most of my weekends. :) LC
I'm a product manager/digital marketer full-time and do photography on weekends. I work long hours and travel a bit for work, If we get along I'll be happy to grab a bite to eat and go for drinks and socialise, if you want someone that stays out of your way that'll also suit just fine. I'm very clean and organised and make friends easily. Huge fan of steaks and always have a nice bottle of red handy.
I'm a music producer and DJ living between Canberra and Sydney, but looking to move to Sydney more permanently. I'm clean, tidy, and work pretty long hours in my studio in Redfern so I'm not home all that much during the day. Love socialising but also like to keep to myself after hours. Always will pay rent on time. Preferably inner-west but I'll also consider places a bit further out.
Hi, I'm Laura. I'm from England, looking to stay long term in Sydney. I've been told I'm easy to get along with, friendly and a free spirit. I enjoy fitness, good food, occasional drink - tend to focus more on self development these days. Great sense of humour is a bonus. Respect space and be tidy.
Our place is a stunning new luxury apartment in the heart of Waterloo. It is located 3km from the CBD and only 5 minutes walk to Green Square. We are the first tenants to have moved into this place and all appliances are basically brand new (washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven, fridge, microwave, TV etc). We also have super fast fibre internet. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, and the available room is large - It can fit a king sized bed, has a built in wardrobe and your own private ensuite. The bedroom has ceiling high windows and private access to the outdoor courtyard/dining area. Both bedrooms have individual air-conditioning/heating, as does the rest of the apartment. Our dining and living room fill with natural light with ceiling high window views looking out to the outdoor dining area and open courtyard. On the ground floor it really is stunning as the sun comes through the windows. Our place is completely furnished with new high quality goods (except the available bedroom). Across the courtyard is access to the building's shared amenities; a huge indoor swimming pool, spa, awesome sauna and fully equiped gym. The building has 24 hr surveillance, 24hr security guard and a building manager on site. About us: We're young professional couple in our late 20's, we consider ourselves pretty easy going, friendly, clean and responsible. We both enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle and generally prefer quiet nights/time at the gym to wild parties. Our perfect summer evening is a few drinks by the BBQ and good conversation. Our jokes are terrible and will make you groan (You've been warned). We'd love someone easy going, employed full time and looking for a longer team lease - 6 months minimum. Summary: Furnished Airconditioning throughout Gym Pool Sauna Spa 247 security Secured courtyard
Hi guys, We are two young, happy and friendly couples looking for a house or apartment together. Michelle and Ryan are Australian, Antonia is from Austria, and Leo is from Argentina. We are all very easygoing and love to socialise. During the week we are all busy with university and work but on weekends we love to go out to dinner together, or watch lame tv shows at home. We are no party animals but like the occasional drink and chat with friends in our free time. We are all animal lovers and are also very tidy, clean and respectful of our surroundings. We are looking for a two bedroom apartment to rent from the end of December / beginning of January, somewhere with easy access to UNSW and Bondi Junction. We would also consider moving into an apartment or house with more bedrooms with people already living in the house, but would like to have two private rooms for ourselves. We all have a big sense of humour and we are very easy to live with, so if you have something for us please feel free to contact Antonia. 😊 Thank you and cheers, all of us. 😊

Hi there, we are a quiet, down to earth, german couple in our 20s. We both work long hours and look for a clean, modern apartment with like-minded flatmates. You should be our age or older, not a party person or loud with an excessive lifestyle. Hey, I'm an English girl living and working in Sydney and looking for a great home! I've been in Australia for the past two years and plan to be here a while longer. I'm a marketing exec working in St Leonards so having a train line close by would be preferable. In my spare time I love to cook and keep fit - I go to the gym most work nights. On a weekend I love socialising with friends - especially if it's over cheese and wine!
Hi there, I'm a 33 year-old New Zealander, moving to Sydney after years in London and am looking for a new home. I lived in Sydney briefly back when I was at uni and am keen to get exploring again. I like to bike (to cafes not on trails...), run occasionally, travel, food and cooking... I'm clean and tidy and am looking for a cool houseshare with people I can hang out with too. Budget is $350 including bills and looking to take a place from end-Nov (flexible). Look forward to meeting you. Megan

Brissi woman, neat and tidy, working full time, single, social but also like my down time. Regularly go to the gym, eat mostly healthy, drink socially, non smoker. Will be studying part time next year so having a larger room would be handy so I can lock myself away to study. Looking for anywhere inner city, close to public transport and shops (I don't have a car). My flatmate must be Ok with me having visitors over (no wild parties tho!). Oh and MUST have my own bathroom. Days of sharing a bathroom are well and truly behind me 😀 I have my own bedroom furniture but that's about it, happy to assist in furniture if we team up. Cheers!
