For fun I love camping, going to the gym, spending time with friends, walking my dog etc I have a dog who would need to move in with me, he’s my little bestie. He’s a bit shy at first but once he’s comfortable he loves pats. He’s an “outside dog” so would need a bit of backyard space or to live somewhere where I can walk him. I work full time and am not a big party person. When I’m home I’m clean, chill, up for a chat but also keep to myself at times. I would love to live with some other people who are similar in that sense.

I'm currently studying IT and working in OSHC, mostly during the school holidays. _____________________________ Hobbies/interests: • I spend a lot of time reading, doing puzzles, going on bush walks with the dog, playing video games, tinkering in the shed and watching cheesy sci-fi movies. Just cliché nerd stuff. • I enjoy being creative and trying out different types of arts and music. • I like baking and cooking, so generally try to have a decently stocked pantry for experiments • I enjoy gardening when there is free time to keep plants alive. • Sustainability is important. Still a lot to learn, but I do try to reduce/reuse/recycle, choose plastic-free/avoid single-use, buy secondhand. _____________________________ As a housemate: • I like to keep shared spaces organised and reasonably tidy, but I'm not expecting a place to be spotless. • I don't smoke but I don't mind if others do, as long as there is no smoking inside or around the dog. • I appreciate collaboration when it comes to chores and groceries (specifically shared, common items so that there isn't unnecessary waste if people are using the same products). I don't mind helping out by rescuing someone's clothes from the line when it's about to rain, or washing up an extra pot when I am going to wash up mine anyway. • I'm mostly introverted, so I I'd prefer a quiter place but I have no issue with guests over or gatherings if told in advance. It's also nice to chat, share a meal or watch a movie/play a game with housemates occasionally. _____________________________ Ideal house: • Preferably looking for a place within walking distance to shops or near a train station to rely less on driving. • Something with a decent backyard for the dog to run around as well as nearby parks and trails. • A quiet place to study. Or space in the garage to work on projects. • Another dog to keep Argo company would be nice Houses with a bit of character are always a bonus.

Hey, My name is Marcello. I just recently finished a lease for a house in Barwon Heads, which I had for nearly two years, after coming from Melbourne. Basically I was semi retired (knee injury recovery), but found that being in a small village and not working actually became the opposite of what I wanted. Now, looking at Geelong & Surfcoast area, with the aim of being a lot busier from working again and finding new activities to do. Hoping to secure 12 months. I have enjoyed being part of a shared environment in past times. all the while enjoying my own corner , yet most importantly respecting the space with and between us. I love to laugh as much as possible…..happily at myself. I do not feel uncomfortable around people I rarely know, and I am sociable, and easy going. I do enjoy a good conversation hopefully while cooking, but also “aware” when the time for calm and quiet moments are needed. I don’t judge, and easily accept and respect the paths of those around. Don’t look inside my room!….(jokes) …. but everywhere else I am a clean bot. lol. I won’t need to be asked to take rubbish out. If I see it , I do it. I have 3/4 of a house tucked into storage, So whatever you have missing ….. Or whatever you may wish to add…. IF I have it……. Then WE will be replacing or adding! And it can remain at the residence after my time comes to an end! I am starting a short court online in mid July I am committed to restarting personal training as it’s been a while… just waiting for find my home first before what training options I will take. If you have a dog, I would love to walk it ! If you have a cat, I will recommence my Netflix subscription and we’ll get acquainted. I was lazy the past two years to start my surfing journey again since my early 20’s, so by end of October, I must be battle ready with the tools of the trade under my bed ready to go…… Hey housemates?….
